Chapter 24

It was troubling April how much fun she was actually having. These armed rednecks came charging at her like they all thought they were Rambo. She had used her new found skills to stop them in their tracks. She decided to make them fuck each other and jack each other off. Hearing them scream in protest and in pain as they took each other’s dicks up their asses made her smile.

The one guy she had him stick his rifle up another one’s ass and pull the trigger. Not only was she amazed to see the bullet go through the top of his head, but she was one hundred percent certain she saw shit come flying out of his skull. Maybe he really was shit for brains.

Now they were all ripping each other’s clothes off and butt fucking each other. She had some of them sucking each other’s dicks. She kept an eye on the old guy back at the truck. Marty was still there too. She wasn’t sure what her range was with this new ability, but it wasn’t having any effect on them from this distance.

Looking at her dad, he was watching the man orgy with a combination of bewilderment and sheer terror.

“How are you making them do this?” he asked.

“I’m not sure. It seems to be after I make them get off, I can control their minds. But I have to make them come first. At least I don’t have to touch them.”

“God that is so fucking bizarre.”

“I think there was something in that swamp I jumped in when I tried to get away. The water looked and smelled funny. I felt weird too.”

“I’d say so,” her dad said, still trying not to look at her naked body.

As she looked toward the truck, the old man was coming toward her, but he didn’t have his rifle this time. He was carrying a huge book. Was that a Bible? He was screaming something, but she couldn’t make it out with all the other noise.

As he got closer, it sounded like he was preaching.

“I cast you out! Unclean spirit! For the Lord is my shepherd. Yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil!” he was shouting.

April just watched him in amazement as he waded through the bodies of his guys to just a few feet in front of her.

“In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit! I cast you out demon into the fires of hell!” he screamed as he waved the bible around.

April grabbed her throat and began to gag. Her eyes rolled back into her head as she staggered backward. He screamed louder, this time repeating his chant as she stumbled and gagged. The old man walked within a foot of her when she stopped gagging, stood straight up and smiled.

“Gotcha!” she said as he started moaning and grunting. Undoing the front of his pants, his dick was standing at full attention.

“Goddamn woman! It hasn’t been this hard since 1975! Holy shit!” She moved out of the way just as jizz shot out of his dick. It flew through the air in a perfect arch landing on Cletus’ dead body. “Holy shit. Marty wasn’t kiddin’. Damn that was a good nut.”

“Now,” April said. Though there was movement behind him. One of the boys had stood and was coming toward her with a machete held over his head. There were others moving around. She’d lost her focus and was losing control. At the last second, she managed to get control of the guy with the machete. He stepped to his left and hacked the old man’s head off in one swing. The others were coming at her now.

     “April…” her dad said.

     “I know. I’m trying!”

One of the boys charged at her screaming with the machete waving over his head. April was startled by a gunshot going off behind her as the man’s chest exploded, knocking him to the ground just feet in front of her. She grabbed his machete as others ran at her. Without thinking, she began swinging the machete, connecting with each of the men. There were several, she hacked one’s arm off, split one guy’s head in two and lopped another’s head right off.

In minutes she was standing in a pile of bloody bodies. Looking down at herself, she saw she was covered in blood.

“Are you all right?” her dad said. “Are you hurt?”

“No, I’m fine. None of them touched me,” she said as a loud engine caught her attention. Marty was backing the truck up to get away again. Fuck!

One of the bodies was a smaller guy. She pulled his boots off and put them on and picked up his shirt. It wasn’t too bloody since he’d removed it during the orgy. She pulled it on and buttoned up the first few buttons. It mostly covered her. With the machete she ran toward the truck.

Marty had gotten stuck while backing up. She hoped to reach him before he got out. As she got closer, the truck pitched forward as Marty turned it around in the huge yard and accelerated down the lane. Despite her running as fast as she could, he was pulling away. Her dad ran up behind her and fired two shots before he ran out of ammunition.

“Fuck! He’s a slippery little shit,” April said.

     “We’ll find him.”

“We have to get out of this shithole first. Wherever this is.”

“It’s a town called Browneye,” he said.

     She looked at him, dumbfounded.

“Browneye? Are you fucking kidding? My god. I was kidnapped to redneck hell.”

“It looks like it from the scene in there. You seem awful calm after going through all that,” he said.

“I guess I get that from you. I’ll probably have a total meltdown once we get out of here. Speaking of which, how do we get out of here?”

“We walk I suppose.”  Her dad said as they headed down the lane and to the dirt road. If they didn’t find a car, it would be a long walk back to Austin.

Chapter 25

Marty sped away. This time he didn’t stop anywhere. He drove onto the main road and out of Browneye. Everyone was dead. His family, his only friends. There were other townspeople, but he didn’t know or trust any of them. All because of that crazy, stupid bitch. It wasn’t good enough for her to leave these terrible reviews insulting him and his family. She had to completely humiliate and kill everyone he loved.

She would pay though. He found her once, he’ll find her again. First he had to find somewhere to regroup. He had a cousin who left town years ago. Last he knew he was living in Waco. It was quite a drive, but his only choice at the moment. Last time he’d visited his cousin Roy, had been a few years ago. Hopefully he was still there.

Once he reached the north side of Austin, the truck was running low on gas. He pulled into a convenience store and parked around the corner. There were a few people at the pumps. One woman was pumping gas into a Ford Focus. Reaching under the seat, he grabbed the tire iron and held it to his side as he approached the woman. She looked like a typical soccer mom, even attractive, maybe a few years older than him. If he wasn’t in a hurry, he might have tried to grab her, but there was no time for that.

“Excuse me ma’am,” he said as he approached her.

“Yes?” she said, smiling as she looked up.

“Do you happen to know the time?”

“Oh. It’s…” She held up her phone to look at the clock, but he cracked her in the side of the head before she could say the time. She toppled to the ground after her face bounced off the side of the car. He pulled her out of the way and jumped into the driver’s seat, started the car and drove off. He was almost twenty minutes down the road when he heard crying coming from the back seat.

He looked in back to see a small child in a car seat. Fuck! The child looked maybe two years old. Marty hadn’t even checked to see if there were kids in the car. Well shit.

     “Mommy!”

     “Shut up kid!”

     “Where’s my mommy?”

“She just let me borrow the car.”

     “Mommy!” he screamed again.

Marty drove for another hour with the child screaming in his ears. It was almost more than he could take. He had never been around kids much, and he’s never been alone with a kid. Finally the screaming became too much. Night was falling so he wouldn’t draw as much attention. He pulled off at the next gas station.

He ran out of the car, opened the back door and pulled out the car seat, the child still screaming. He sat it on the pavement next to another car, got back into the Focus and drove off. Happy that was over, he continued north. After a few more hours he arrived in Waco, Texas. It was almost 3 a.m. and he could hardly hold his head up, but he’d made it.

Not long after that, he’d found his cousin’s house. It was a little one story house just outside the city limits. Marty never knew exactly why Roy left Browneye other than he fancied himself more of a city person, though Waco was hardly a metropolitan area. He parked outside Roy’s house, walked up and knocked on the door. There was no answer, so he knocked several more times. Finally the door swung open.

“What in the fuck is yer problem?” Roy said. He was wearing a pair of whitey tighties and nothing else. He stood just a bit taller than Marty and was rail thin. He’d always been skinny, but looked like he’d lost yet more weight since Marty had last seen him. Once Roy seemed to regain his focus he calmed down. “Marty? What the hell are you doing here?”

“I’m real sorry to bug you Roy. I’m in big trouble.”

     “What trouble is that?”

Roy invited him inside where they sat in his tiny living room. Marty went on to fill him in about all of the happenings. Once he explained everything, Roy sat back as if considering all he’d been told.

“Ok,” Roy began. “First thing. Why in the fuck did you bring that hot car to my house? We have to get rid of that immediately. Second, that bitch sounds crazy as hell. I remember helping you and Cletus hunting around Thanksgiving. Them’s some good memories.”

“So what do we do about that girl? I came here. I had nowhere else to go. I didn’t want her controlling my pecker and killing me with it,” Marty said.

“Yeah. I don’t blame ya. We’ll have to come up with a plan. Don’t you worry. We’ll get that bitch.”

Chapter 26

April and her dad sat inside the ambulance as federal agents and Department of Public Safety officers swarmed the area. April was sore, bruised and exhausted, other than that she wasn’t hurt. Her dad had some deep scratches and cuts on his face and body, but nothing serious. They had walked all the way back into town and stopped by Kitties N’ Titties. Bobby had dug through the office and found a working phone. He made a call to the Austin police who sent in the cavalry.

Agents in tactical gear went from building to building rounding people up. There were maybe twenty more people scattered throughout they could find, including a few young children. They handcuffed everyone and lined them up as a tall, bald agent approached Bobby and April.

“What a fucking mess,” the agent said.

“Thanks Dwayne,” Bobby said. “What took you so long?”

“Why you here all by yourself?”

“I wasn’t. Had an Austin detective with me. They killed him. Lured him into a sinkhole. I almost fell in too. This is a fucked up little town.”

“That it is. This your daughter?” he said looking at April.

“Yep. That’s her. She managed to get loose just before I got there. I guess she killed the mom in her escape.”

“Yeah, about that. Some of the bodies. They were found in, well, strange condition,” Dwayne said. April had no doubt he was referring to Cletus having his own dick up his ass.

“I don’t know Dwayne. It got pretty crazy. They all had guns, I just had that machete,” Bobby said, covering for her.

“Yeah, I heard. They had all those guns and not a single round hit either of you?”

“No, guess they’re bad shots or weren’t expecting me to charge them.”

“Right. Well you guys get healed up. I’ll clean this mess.”

“What will you do with the rest of the people around town?”

“Not sure yet. Take them to San Antonio for debriefing, and then figure out if we need to hold anyone. Go ahead and get out of here. I’ll fill you in later,” Dwayne said as he walked off. A paramedic climbed into the ambulance and shut the doors as they drove off, finally leaving Browneye for good.

Chapter 27

Three months later

April sat on the deck looking through her magazine. Despite her physical wounds having healed, she still thought about her ordeal with the McDougals every day. The nightmares never got better, only worse. Marty McDougal was still out there somewhere. He’d even published a new book about a writer who was attacked by a psychotic female book reviewer who killed his whole family. Yeah, he was a bit off.

Since that day, she’d never gotten on the internet again. She lived with her dad now, and deleted all her social media accounts, and burned her laptop and smart phone. In the months since, her dad had actually gotten promoted within the FBI. They made up some story about an old family feud resulting in all of the deaths in Browneye. She wasn’t sure where they took the rest of the townspeople, and didn’t want to know.

What she did want was to see Marty pay. And not jail time either. That would be too good for him. She had some things in mind for him that made what she did to Cletus look like child’s play. The trick was finding him. Her dad said he and the FBI were on it, but there had been no progress. She figured he had to be bullshitting her. The fucking FBI couldn’t find some goofy redneck? It was her belief they just wanted the whole thing to go away.

Currently her dad was in Washington for some meetings. He’d be back in a few days, so she wasn’t worried. Though this was the first time she’d been alone since that day. She also hadn’t used her new ability since then, though she hadn’t been around anyone or in a situation where she needed to use them.

She tossed the magazine aside and went to the kitchen and grabbed a diet soda. It was getting late and she shouldn’t have caffeine so late, but due to the nightmares, she often dreaded bed time. This was one of those nights. She went back into the living room where a man swung at her with a baseball bat. April wasn’t sure how she had seen it coming, but she caught a glimpse of the bat just in time. She ducked just before the bat could cave her skull in. Without thinking, she did a leg sweep taking her attacker down. Her first thought was that it was Marty, but this man was taller and skinnier. He had on a black sweater and jeans, but no mask. His face was bony and veiny, had she not known better, she’d have thought he had on a skull mask.

He screamed as she took him down. She grabbed the bat from him and jumped to her feet, rearing the bat back when something hit her square in the back. The blow knocked the wind out of her and knocked her to the ground.

“Surprise bitch!” Marty yelled standing over her. She gasped for air as he took another swing of the bat, this time smashing her in the legs.

“You think you was gonna kill my family and get away with it? Hell no!”

As she tried catching her breath, she began crawling away, but he just kept kicking and taunting her.

The other man was getting to his feet and began cheering Marty on.

“You wasn’t lying Marty. She’s a fine one. We should have some fun with her first.”

“No way. We finish her now. I’m telling ya, this one is crazy. No telling what she will do,” Marty said.

April was lying still pretending to be unconscious while trying to remember how to use her ability, or “pecker powers” as Marty had called them.

“Is she dead?” the other one asked. “She ain’t movin.”

“Naw, she ain’t dead. She’s just out I think. I’m gonna bash her head in now..oh…oh…oh shit,” Marty said.

“Holy hell Marty. My pecker is gonna explode, and this shit feels real good!”

“I told ya, but it’s a trick! We gotta fight it..oh, oh man, oh damn!”

April rolled over and sat up while watching the two men get off by themselves. Once they finished she slowly made it to her feet.

“Marty,” she said. “It was stupid of you to come here.”

“I’m gonna kill you. You ruined my life!” he screamed.

“Who is this asshole?” she asked pointing at the other guy.

     “That’s my cousin, Roy.”

“Well Roy. You’re fucking dead. Did he tell you that?”

“No I’m not. I feel fine,” Roy said.

“Marty. Bash his head in,” she ordered.

“I’m sorry Roy! It’s not me! I don’t mean it,” Marty said as he swung the bat. Roy’s eyes got huge just before the bat made contact with the side of his face, knocking him to the ground. He grunted as he hit the ground, but Marty swung again, and again and again. Each blow sounded with a dull thud, but the last two just made squishy sounds. Marty turned and looked at April.

“See what you made me do? He was my only family! And you made me kill him!” The asshole was actually crying. Fucking crying.

“Shut up Marty. It don’t matter anyway. You know why?”

“Cause you gonna kill me?” he said.

“No. You’re gonna kill you. But not yet. First, go in the kitchen and get me a knife.”

He went and dug through one of the drawers. She heard him sniffling as he rummaged around. Finally he came back with a medium sized knife. She looked it over and nodded.

     “I guess it will do.”

“What you gonna make me do?”

“Well, first thing I want you to cut your own eye out.”

     “Oh no,” he said.

     “Oh yes. Do it.”

He stuck the knife into his eye, blood and fluid squirted out as he dug around while screaming. Finally he pulled his eyeball free, but it was in a couple of bloody chunks.

     “Just kill me please.”

“I’m afraid not Marty. We’re not even close to being done.”
