Turning onto his side, he spooned up behind Aiden, letting the warm, sleep-relaxed body try to sooth him.

Wrapping his arms around his lover, he smiled as Aiden mumbled something incoherent and snuggled deeper into his embrace. He was still somewhat worn out from the intense lovemaking of the night before, but felt himself respond anyway.

He hoped they hadn’t kept Cael up with their raucous lovemaking last night. The kid seemed skittish enough, and when Aiden told him that Cael hadn’t realized they were partners, it made him worry about how much affection he was allowed to show. Aiden assured him that Cael seemed fine with it, but Jake was still a little leery.

Of course that was until Aiden had literally jumped him after Cael had gone to bed. They fucked each other until neither of them had enough strength to get up and try to clean off. It was the best kind of sex.

Dream a Little Dream - 57

Well, maybe the second best
.

He lined up his cock and slowly sank in to his still sleeping lover. Aiden sighed, but didn’t wake. Jake loved it when they fucked like this. Aiden would wake revved up and begging, like Jake was his whole world.

Starting a slow, gentle rhythm, he pulled out until just the crown of his cock was still caught in the tight, burning heat, then pushed back inside. Aiden moaned, squirming to get closer, seemingly caught in an erotic dream.

Jake continued the gentle rhythm then started to speed up, reaching one hand around Aiden’s hip to grasp the now weeping cock, trailing kisses up the side of his lover’s warm neck to his ear.

“Wake up, baby, so I can love you properly,” he whispered.

“Love…” Aiden groaned, starting to wake and pushing back into Jake’s more forceful thrusts. “You feel so good.”

“So do you,” Jake moaned, pushing Aiden’s hip until he was flat on the bed and Jake was lying completely on top of him.

Aiden whimpered as Jake sank into him harder and harder until Aiden was crying out. Jake shifted so that Aiden’s knees were under him, getting a good hold on his lover’s hips, and fucked him in earnest. Aiden cried out as Jake pegged his gland with every inward stroke, head on his pillow to help stifle the sounds, jerking

himself off in earnest. Jake reached forward and tweaked one of his lover’s nipples. Aiden froze, then shook as his release spilled over into his hand and on the bed. Jake groaned as Aiden’s release triggered his own, and he spilled his load into his lover’s hungry hole.

“Damn,” Aiden moaned, collapsing down onto the bed, Jake going with him. “That’s one hell of a way to wake up.”

Jake sniggered. “I thought you might like that.”

Aiden just laughed. “What got into you this morning?”

“Me?” Jake asked, feigning incredulousness. He turned his lover over and straddled him. “What about last night? You fucked me so hard I’m going to feel you all day. Not that I’m complaining,” he said quickly, seeing the worry flash in his baby’s eyes. “But you were an animal…what got you so revved up, baby?”

Aiden blushed hard, and Jake quirked a brow. He wasn’t expecting such a strong reaction from his teasing question.

“Baby?”

“It's nothing,” Aiden said quickly, pushing at Jake’s chest to let him up. “Let me up so I can shower.”

Jake placed a hand in the center of Aiden’s chest and pushed him back on the bed. “I don’t think so.” Aiden refused to look at him. “Aiden, love, what’s going on?”

Aiden sighed. “It’s nothing, just something I’m dealing

with. No worries. It will be fine.” He tried to sit up again, but Jake wasn’t letting him escape that easily.

“Baby, stop. We’ve never lied to each other or hidden things before. I don’t want to start now.” Jake watched Aiden closely, noticing how once again Aiden refused to meet his eyes. Jake gently took Aiden’s chin in his hand and turned his love’s face to meet his own.

“Baby, does this have to do with Cael?” he asked. Aiden looked shocked, so Jake just shrugged. “I noticed the looks yesterday in the hospital room and when we got home. It was kind of hard not to.” Aiden’s face flushed with heat, and his eyes filled with shame.

“I’m so sorry Jake,” he said softly, gripping Jake’s hand in his. “I swear, I won’t do anything! I just don’t know what’s wrong with me! I’ve never wanted anyone else, and I don’t want to lose you. I just can’t seem to help myself.” The more he spoke, the more agitated he got.

“I know it’s wrong. I mean, God, I’m over a decade older, and I’m his therapist for Christ sakes! And after what happened? I shouldn’t feel like this toward him, but he’s just so small and sweet, and I just want to protect him from the world. I’m sorry, Jake. I’m so sorry!” Aiden ducked his head.

Jake just sighed. “Baby, stop. Aiden stop!” he said sternly, once again making Aiden look at him. “I’m not mad, love. Trust me, I’m not. You were his therapist; you’re not any more. Stop beating yourself up over something you can’t help. I know you would never do anything to a patient in your care, and I know you would never do anything to threaten our relationship. He’s a

cute little bugger. As far as your feelings go, I know it’s the guardian in you that wants to protect Cael. And well, you should know…” This time Jake blushed. “You’re not the only one struggling.”

Aiden’s eyes widened. “Really?” he asked, looking surprised and a tinge concerned. “You like him?”

“I don’t know, really.” Jake placed a soft kiss between Aiden's furrowed brows. “I’d never leave you; you know that. There’s just something about him that I can’t deny I feel something for. Almost like a piece of the puzzle I didn’t realize I was missing until I was looking down into his big eyes in that parking lot.”

Aiden nodded thoughtfully. “I know what you mean.

The whole time I was treating him, there was something nagging in the back of my mind; I just never paid attention to it. It wasn’t until he spoke that I felt something inside me shift, like my heart was making room to add another.”

Aiden sighed. “But where does this leave us?” he asked.

Jake shrugged. “Don’t know. I know that personally I need a bit more time to get to know him before I welcome the kid into our bed. And I think he needs a bit more time to heal before we offer. I don’t want him to feel obligated just because he’s staying here. I’d hate for us to push him into something he’s not ready for. Plus, we can both be a bit dominant, and that may not be good for him, right? I mean shit, we don’t even know if he’s interested.”

“Um, well, that’s not exactly true,” Aiden said, blushing

up to the roots of his hair.

“Hmm?” Jake raised a brow, slightly amused.

“Well, I know he’s interested, at least a little, in me.”

Aiden shrugged. “Um, he drew a picture of he and I…

well, we were just kissing, but it was very detailed.” He shifted and then cleared his throat. “Very detailed.”

Jake grinned. “Really?” he asked with a leer. “That good, huh?”

Aiden nodded. “Like a photograph.”

Jake moaned. “Damn, that must have been hot. Just the thought of the two of you together gets me hard,” he murmured, rubbing his renewed erection on the smooth expanse of Aiden’s stomach.

Aiden moaned. “Now we just got to get him interested in you and we’re set,” he said, rocking his own hard cock on the skin of Jake’s inner thighs.

“Are you kidding, who could resist this?” Jake asked, moving down so their cocks rubbed together, pre-cum mixing to puddle on Aiden’s belly.

“Fuck! Exactly…” Aiden shuddered, tunneling his fingers into Jake’s hair and pulling him closer. “Love me,” he whispered, kissing Jake’s lips softly.

“I do,” Jake answered back, just as soft, deepening the kiss until he didn’t know where he started and Aiden began. A moment passed, and then his love was crying out, heat splashing up between them. Jake followed

moments later.

They lay there panting, until Aiden laughed. “Now we really have to get up and get clean.”

Jake grinned. “I’ll let you go first. If we go together, we’ll never get out of here, and I’m sure Cael is probably hungry. I know I am.” As if on cue, Jake’s stomach growled loudly, like a bear was trying to claw its way out.

Aiden laughed. “Go forage, my strong hunter. I’ll be down in a few to cook whatever you find.”

“Ah, what a good little woman,” Jake said with a laugh, jumping off the bed as Aiden aimed a swat at him.

“Hey,” he said with a pout. “This is a no pussy zone.

Don’t make me hurt you for soiling our bed with that talk.”

“Sorry, baby,” Jake said, in mock shame. “Will a blowjob make it all better?”

“Maybe after breakfast,” Aiden said with a grin.

“There’s no way I could get it up again for at least an hour.”

Jake raised a brow. “Is that a challenge?”

Aiden threw a pillow at his head, giggling madly. “Go beast! Find me food!”

Jake laughed. “All right, all right, I’m going.”

He wiped off with a towel that had been left on the floor, much to Aiden’s complaints, and found a pair of loose basketball shorts to wear.

Jake tromped down the hall, not paying attention and nearly running over Cael coming up the stairs. Cael jerked back, but before he could fall backward, Jake caught his arms and pulled Cael flush against his chest.

“Sorry, Cael, I wasn’t watching where I was going.”

“N-no problem,” Cael replied, his breath catching.

Jake smiled as the kid took a deep breath, smelling the scent of his and Aiden’s lovemaking on his skin, and pretended not to notice the flash of desire in Cael’s eyes.

“How did you sleep?” he asked, still holding Cael. Cael seemed to sink into him ever so slightly, and then caught himself.

“Fine,” he whispered. He pulled back slightly, and Jake finally let him go.

“Good,” Jake grinned at the kid, trying to put him at ease. “I’m going to make some breakfast. You hungry?”

The kid nodded, and Jake finally noticed the sketchbook clutched tightly to his chest.

“Are you drawing this morning? Aiden mentioned that you were pretty good.” Jake smiled when he got a small, hesitant nod. “Cool, maybe you can show me sometime.

I’d love to see them.”

Cael blushed and smiled slightly, nodding again.

Dream a Little Dream - 64

“Cool. I’m going to start breakfast before Aiden gets done with his shower and tries to eat us ’cause he’s so hungry.” Jake got a small laugh and felt like he’d won the lottery.

Trotting down the stairs, he couldn’t stop the smile that grew over his face. Jake hadn’t missed the way Cael had stared at his bare chest, or how he had nuzzled in when they bumped together.

Maybe getting Cael to be attracted to him wouldn’t be so hard after all.

Chapter Eight

Two weeks passed and the three men settled into a rather relaxed routine. There was still no sign of Max Haring, but they didn’t let that stop them from living their lives.

Cael seemed right at home in Aiden’s house, eating and relaxing with the others; but so far there had been no sort of romantic interaction between the three of them.

As a result, there was a constant sexual tension that seemed to run between the guys; it was never

acknowledged, but they all knew it was there. It was just a matter of time before the tension boiled over.

Aiden sat at the kitchen table, pen and paper in hand. It was Wednesday morning and he was making a grocery list.

Last night, he and Jake had argued over just buying groceries or ordering and getting them delivered. Jake wanted them to just order them, but Aiden put his foot down. He was going stir crazy just sitting in the house.

He wasn’t used to not working and having an inordinate amount of time to waste like he had since this whole Max debacle began. Aiden had an almost desperate needed to move, to do something productive.

Even Jake couldn’t deny that he was feeling the strain as well. Even though he was now back at work after staying that first week at home, he was working the desk so that if he needed to leave quickly he wouldn’t be out on a call. He seemed to spend a lot of time down in the basement when he was home, lifting weights. Nearly to the point of complete muscle failure.

Dream a Little Dream - 66

Aiden decided that perhaps the only person not feeling claustrophobic was Cael. The kid spent a lot of time either outside in their small backyard or locked in his room, drawing. Aiden had been teaching Cael how to tend the small garden of tomatoes, cucumbers, and herbs he grew.

Cael had also taken over making dinner. Aiden wasn’t really sure how it happened, but one day he was doing the cooking, and the next, Cael was making homemade lasagna. Since he and Jake were both remedial cooks at best, they didn’t complain. The kid seemed to really enjoy it; Aiden figured he liked feeling like he was contributing to the household somehow.

Cael had finished the one sketchpad he brought with him and had been using computer paper to draw on.

Aiden went ahead and added new sketchbooks to the list. He also added cake mix and frosting. He

remembered that Cael’s nineteenth birthday was in two days. He wanted to make Cael a birthday cake, just as he would for Jake. He made a mental note to buy

something special as a present. Maybe a little MP3

player? Cael could load songs on it by using Aiden’s computer and then the kid could listen while he drew.

He was just finishing up when Jake wandered into the kitchen, kissing Aiden absentmindedly on the temple then grabbing a bottle of water out of the fridge.

“List is done, I think. Do we need any laundry soap?”

Aiden asked.

Jake nodded. “Yeah, we have enough for maybe a load
Dream a Little Dream - 67

or two.”

“Okay.” Aiden checked over the list again as Jake leaned against the counter, guzzling his water. “I think we should hit Wal-Mart. We can get food and maybe pick up some clothes for Cael and stuff for his birthday.
