Chapter 3

Double Date

Nathan

"Wake up, baby." Eva was shaking my head. I half opened my eyes; she was wearing only a shirt.

"Sexy." I pulled her on the bed and pushed my hand inside the shirt, touching her firm breasts. She wasn't wearing anything beneath it, and I loved it. I loved the way she looked in my long shirt. With a sexy smile on her face, she turned me on. "I want breakfast in bed." I kissed her neck.

"But sweetheart, I left our coffee in the kitchen."

"When I have you in my bed, why would I need coffee? I'm going to drink you like that." I sucked the skin on her neck, and she moaned.

Eva's phone rang. Some sorry soul didn't want us to have good morning sex.

"Let me grab it."

"No, throw it in the trash," I chuckled.

"You fool." She smiled as she rolled and moved away from my grip.

"Hey, Chloe, what’s up?" she said."Hmm."

"Do I've to?"

"Nathan, I'm not sure about him." I perked up when she said my name.

"Let me ask." She pressed the hold button and climbed back in bed. "Baby." She twirled her hand through my hair. "Chloe is asking for a double date."

"Double date? When?" I was puzzled.

"Now, river rafting. I said no, but she wouldn't listen. Do you have anything urgent today?" She made an 'O' with her mouth.

My heart melted at her expression. I wanted to spend as much time as I could with her. "Let me check my calendar," I teased her. "No, I am not free. I have a date with my girlfriend," I said seriously.

She giggled and put the phone back to her ear. "Okay, Chloe, we’ll be there in an hour."

I didn't understand what she planned for the date. "So, plan?"

"We are going to go river rafting in the Hudson River." She replied with a deep voice.

"Rafting?" I almost shouted.

"Is that a problem?"

I thought for a second. I knew how to swim, but I’d never been rafting. I felt a little skeptical about the whole idea. "It's just...never mind. I will search Google on the gear and we can will buy it on the way."

"Sounds like a plan." She smiled as she went back in the kitchen.

I watched her round ass shaking with every step she took. I sighed for the missed opportunity. I had wanted to eat her for breakfast.

In a minute she came back with a coffee cup in hand. "You’ll just have to be satisfied with this instead." She winked at me as she handed me the coffee.

I grabbed her ass and pulled her toward me. "It wouldn't take me much time to undress you and have you while drinking coffee." Her cheeks turned red.

"Let me go, I need to take a shower." I released her and she ran into the bathroom.

"I love you, sweetheart." I muttered to myself and sipped my coffee.

***

"So, what do we need?" Eva asked as we got in the car.

"Nothing. I searched and found out that they provide us everything."

"Okay, great.  I’m excited to try rafting.  We do need to pick Chloe first. Martin will meet us at North River."

"Sure." I entered the destination she read to me in the GPS. "Two hour drive, babe."

She kissed me on my cheek. "I know, it's a sudden plan, but hey, we are going on our first adventure trip."

I smiled and turned over the engine.

In twenty minutes, I was waiting for Eva and Chloe outside their apartment. When we reached the place, Eva suddenly remembered a list of things that she needed to grab. I had nothing to do ‘til they came, so I waited, sitting on the hood of the car swinging my leg in the air.

"Sorry for being late," Chloe shouted from the door as she headed toward the car. Eva followed her and she had changed into a blue top and a green shorts. My cock pulsed when I saw the perfect shape of her round breasts from under the t-shirt she wore.

"What’s up?" Chloe giggled. "Did we disturbed you love birds?" Chloe patted on Eva's back.

"No, not at all," I replied and opened the car door for both of the girls.

"Your boyfriend is a gentleman,." Chloe giggled. "Can you teach some of these techniques to Martin as well?" she asked me.

"I can teach him kick boxing. He asked me for some lessons. He said he is getting some threats from you."

"I take back my words. Your boyfriend is mean." Chloe giggled.

I shut the door and hopped in the driver’s seat. I grinned and turned the key. "Ladies, we have a two-hour journey ahead of us, and I'm in the mood for making it in an hour and half.. So fasten your seat belts." I slammed my car into first gear.

***

We reached the North River office of the rafting company before Martin and I had nothing to do but eat some snacks. We chatted about their college while we waited for Martin.  The girls were facing me, and they couldn't see Martin coming. He came up fast from behind and patted Chloe's shoulder, hard. She stumbled forward, and if it wasn’t for my quick reaction, she would have bit the dust.

"What the hell, man." She jumped, her hand in the air.

"Oops. Sorry." Martin apologized.

"How many times do I have to tell you..."

"Come on, Chloe, not now." Martin replied with frustration in his voice..

Chloe's fingers clenched with anger. “That's enough, Martin. I don’t want to be the subject of your creepy pranks anymore. If it wasn't for Nathan, I would have hit the floor."

"But you didn't," Martin replied, his eyes squinting in anger.

"Calm down, guys." Eva came in between them. It was clear where those two were heading.

"No, Eva, he always does that. You know it," Chloe answered in low voice. I felt awkward standing there. I hadn't expected a shouting match between those.

"We will sort this out later." Eva hugged Chloe. "And Martin, no more joking on the trip. We’re on a casual date, here. We’re here to have fun"

"Peace out." Martin waved his hand. "Dude, what's up with Mason? I heard he helped you in your last match." He turned to face me.

A dash of anger rose in my chest. "Nothing, man. He just helped me to get back to the cabin”   I didn't like the idea of talking about the match during the trip. I actually just wanted to forget about it.

"Martin, it's better we avoid any talk about the match today. We have plenty of other things to talk about." Eva stopped him from asking any more question. She knew my feelings about the lost match.

"Okay, whatever. Sorry, buddy."

"It's okay." I replied. "Let's go and grab our gear." We walked to the rafting gear shop and picked up our gear. We selected our life jackets and helmets and got started putting them on.  Martin was trying to hook his life jacket on the wrong way. "Martin. Don't do that."  He looked like he was just playing with it.

"Nothing to worry about, mate."

"Martin, don't be careless again. I will..." Chloe shouted at him.

"Guys, no more fighting today," Eva interrupted her.

Martin’s face twisted in anger and he walked down the sidewalk to the river club."Sorry, guys. He’s just not himself lately." Chloe apologized and hurried to catch up with Martin.

"Are they good?" I asked Eva.

"Yes..." she replied half-heartedly."Well, maybe not." We both followed Martin and Chloe.

While we walked, Eva wrapped her hand around my left elbow and placed her head on my shoulder. I could smell her shampoo and it was turning me on.
This girl could turn me on from the sleep.

***

"Awesome," Chloe shouted when we crossed the first corner of the river. The thrill was visible on her face. Eva shouted along with her; she was obviously enjoying the ride thoroughly. The cool water splashed over the sides of the boat, and both girls laughed.

Martin looked awkward, but he had rafted nicely until now. Generally, I enjoyed every sport, and though I’d never done rafting, I enjoyed every bit of it.

Before letting us handle the boat ourselves, we practiced in still water and then half flowing water for two hours. When the coach thought we could do it, he allowed us to get into the currents of the river.

"New corner. Come on, guys, faster, faster," I shouted as I saw a sharp turn coming towards us.

Eva was sitting at the front left corner of the boat. When she saw the corner, she paddle the boat to the right. In the quick reaction boat turned left. I paddled the boat behind her and adjusted the back end of the boat. “It’s fun,” I shouted when we had safely passed through the corner. The water was so cool, and maneuvering the boat was a thrill. We were wet and shaky, but I enjoyed the thrill with every upcoming bump in the boat.

“I’m loving it,” Chloe shouted.

When the next sharp turn came, it was to the right and Martin had to turn his wheel to the left, but when he tried to turn it, it got stuck in his life jacket hook and he started falling off the boat along with the wheel. Eva instantly reached out her hand to Martin, but the boat was already off balance and she also started falling off the boat. Before I could hold Eva from falling, she was out of the boat with Martin.

Panic rushed through my stomach. I couldn't let Chloe drive the boat alone, she would have fallen off easily. I took her hand and jumped down the boat with her. The water was not so deep, so she could stand on her legs. I swum fast towards Eva and caught her in my both hands. Eva clung to my neck with fear. Her tight hold and fear in her eyes oozed her condition. "Easy sweetheart. I’m right here."

Martin was still struggling with the wheel stuck in his jacket.

"Are you okay, guys?" a life guard wheeled his boat near us.

"Fine," I replied with a disgusted look over toward Martin. Because of him, we were in trouble.

A bigger life boat came in five minutes and took us to the bank of the river.

"Sorry, guys. I should have listened to Nathan," Martin apologized.

"Shit, man, you should have hooked it carefully," I shouted at Martin. I wanted to punch him, and I felt my anger getting the better of me. I couldn't believe that Eva was put in danger because of this ass’s carelessness.

"That won't do." My nerves were heating with the fury. I walked a few steps toward him, planning to grab his collar, but Eva came in between us.

"No, Nathan, not now," she whispered in my ear.

"I think we should have a go at it," I said, still furious over the jerk’s mistake. I took Eva's hand and walked towards the parking lot, throwing Martin a furious look over my shoulder.

Chloe ran and caught us. "I'm so sorry, guys. Eva, I hope you’re all right."

"It's okay, Chloe. Go and take care of him," Eva replied.

"You shouldn't have stopped me. I could have taught him a lesson or two." I realized I was still holding my fist tight.

"No, Nathan, no violence."

"Because of him, you fell overboard, sweetheart. I was worried"

"I’ll take care of myself next time, Everything turned out okay," she said in low voice. I wrapped her in my arms.

"I'm sorry, babe. I couldn't reach you from the boat. Chloe was still inside and she would have fallen out if I had tried to catch you." I stroked her arms. "I’m so sorry." Her closeness was igniting many passions inside my body in my heightened state of panic.

"Don't be sorry. You got me out of the water. I'm so thankful that you are in my life. I love you so much." She lifted her face and kissed my lips.

I felt the tingles going through my whole body, when her luscious, soft cherry lips touched mine. She smelled raw, all raw. I felt a twinge in my stomach, a desire growing inside, a desire to make love to her on the bank of the river.

But I controlled my feelings. As I thought about last night, my cell phone
Need to meet you tomorrow in the club - Mason.

"Who is that?" Eva asked.

"Mason. He wants to meet me." I had told Eva everything about Samantha and Mason when she was in the hospital. I had been surprised by Mason's action at the time – he had told Eva the truth.

"Oh," she replied and looked away."Baby..."

"Yes?" I asked.

"No, nothing. Leave it," she said.

"Ask, Eva. You know everything about my past."

"Nothing about your past. But I read in the newspaper that Mason was there when you lost your match. What was he doing there?" She looked into my eyes.

"Well, I don't know."

"If you don't want to talk..." Eva commented.

"No, it's okay. He was there, but even I didn't know what he was doing there. Maybe tomorrow I’ll find out more, " I replied. I took another glance at my cell phone, but I wasn't sure why he had messaged me.

Chapter 4

Humiliation

Eva

My cell flashed. It was Nathan.

Up for a kick boxing match?

I texted him back with, “
No.
I was still tired after yesterday’s incident while river rafting. I woke up late and was thinking it sounded good to take a long, hot bath.

Come on, I am not fighting in this one.

I knew his plan. He wanted me to watch the matches, because he thought that it will steel me, develop courage inside me.
No way, I can’t watch him bleeding.
I replied with a
no
again. I lifted my body from the bed with a struggle; I was still feeling tired and sleepy.

Okay, no match. Just come to watch the club. Come to watch how we practice.

He wasn’t going to let it go. . I had to give in. I replied
okay.

Get ready, pick you up in half an hour.

Damn, this boy never gives me enough time to get ready.
I shrugged my shoulders and ran to the bathroom.

In half an hour, I was ready. Nathan came on time, and he blew a familiar horn to let me know he was waiting outside.

I went out into the sunlight, feeling anxious about going to the club. Nathan was leaning against his car; his hands were crossed on his chest. He looked tough, just like his car, a Jaguar. A small scar was still visible on his jaw as a memory of the fight with Peter. But it added to his raw look. Memory of the raw nights we had spent together flashed in my mind and my sex tightened. God, he was sexy as hell.

"You are looking awesome in blue." He gasped hard and pulled me towards him. His lips struck mine with a brutal force. He tasted fresh, like a just plucked strawberry.

I pushed him away. "We are in front of my dorm."

"And you are my girlfriend." He grinned. I secretly loved the way he showed his affection in front of everyone, but it did make me blush.

"Why are you so dressed up?" He asked, glancing down at my skirt and pink shirt. He was wearing a white shirt over jeans. With a little hint of beard on his chin, he looked sexier than any Hollywood actor. I glanced down. “I like to look nice for you.”

A smile of appreciation spread across his face. "We’re going to watch others practice." His eyes didn’t leave me and opened the left car door for me. "After you."

"Thank you," I giggled.

We reached the club in half an hour through the busy New York traffic of. Nathan was a terrific driver, but always cautious when surrounded by cars; I loved that about him.

We entered the club and my eyes grew wide as I was visiting it for the first time. It was as huge as a small stadium. The club housed six boxing rings. Many fighters were practicing with others, including a few girls. The place was hot, and the smell of sweat permeated the air.  I felt excitement rise as my pulse quickened."I wanna try it sometime," I said.

"Sure. May be we can work on your legs, it will help you in running." He said in a husky voice. "We will practice only at home."

"Why?"

"So I can work on your legs more." He winked. My cheeks must have turned red. I punched him playfully on the arm.

"Let me show you the club." We walked around the club, hand in hand. He was describing all the things to me. How people practice, what various equipment, was used for and what each fighter was doing.

When we sat on a bench to watch one of the fighters, I noticed a tall man with a pale skin enter the club and a few people gathered around him to shake hands with him. "Who is that?" I asked out of curiosity.

When he looked over at the small crowd, his face turned dark. "That's Peter," he replied in a low voice. I touched his shoulder. I understood his pain, his loss.

"Let's go. Enough for today." He hadn’t yet even told me about the fight, and I didn't want him to get upset.

He nodded, and we started walking towards the door.

"Hey, loser," somebody shouted from behind. I looked back and noticed that it was the same tall man. I looked at Nathan; he was holding his fists tight.

"What a jerk," I said. "Don't listen to him."

"Now a coward," Peter shouted again.

Nathan turned back. His face was red, glowing with anger. He walked towards Peter. He went straight in front of him and stood chest to chest, eye to eye. I felt as if a flash of lightning passed between their eyes. "Now, talk," Nathan said, his voice full of anger.

"Loser," Peter replied back, the smug grin spreading across his face

"Prove it. Let’s have a match," Nathan replied in a slow, measured tone.

A wicked grin appeared on Peter's face. "Who do you think you are?, I'm an International player and I box with National level players only. You’re not in my league, man. Go and win a Top Rank championship first and then come back."

"I will." Nathan replied and turned back. "Let's go." He grabbed my hand. I wanted to say something, but feeling the anger coming off of Nathan, I kept quiet.

"Is that another whore you stole from someone?" Peter hurled the insult like a spear.

Nathan turned back, his hand clenched in a fist. He walked fast over to Peter, grabbed his collar and slammed a hard punch to his face. Fear crept up my spine, the worse was happening, but in a split second, before Nathan could hit Peter again, Mason stopped his hand. "Not now, Nathan." Mason shouted. "Save it for some other day."

Peter was stunned. He tried to push Nathan away, but he couldn't. He raised his hand to punch back Nathan back, but Mason rushed between them and deflected his punch with his hand, and kicking Peter on his oblique. Peter stumbled back. All this happened in less than four, five seconds. I felt like watching an action movie.

Mason dragged Nathan away from Peter. Peter stood there, confused. He looked like he wanted to attack both Mason and Nathan, but he stopped himself. "Come on, Nathan. Fight with me."

Nathan looked back. "In the ring Peter, and if I lose, I will quit boxing." Nathan's face was full of rage. For a split second I was frightened, but he was furious because of me. He was angry because Peter had touched his vulnerable nerve, his girlfriend.

"Nathan, let's go. Please," I begged him. I couldn't stay there anymore.
