Things on Oison were looking up and he was proud of how far they’d come. They were the last Mazlans in the universe and this time their people wouldn’t be repressed. He could hear the sounds of laughter and talking in the main room and he knew they needed to get back to their family and friends. He pulled his lovely mate into his arms and kissed her gently before he pulled her to his side and they headed back to their guests.
Right now things were all about family, friends, and their ties to their community. Later tonight would be all about Bernie, him, and making a little one. Tomorrow, well that would be all about the future, a glorious future for all of them if he had anything to say about it. They entered the room where the party was and greetings and well wished rang out. It was a lovely way to end the night.
