She put her arm round his shoulder, and looked up at him as he held her round the waist. 
God I really want to kiss her
.  The beat of his heart was in rhythm to the music and for once in his life he didn’t think about his issues.   Her green eyes held him captive.  She looked at him with curiosity and a smile played on her lips.  The music played and the strobe lights flashed and he felt himself getting aroused as he felt her soft body underneath the dress.  The sounds of Rudimental filled his ears.  

His hand moved up her back as she moved her hand towards his neck as they danced to the music.  He leaned down to dance closer with her. 
What I am doing?  I shouldn’t be doing this, not here, not with her.
He pulled back and pushed her gently away, he couldn’t speak, she looked puzzled for a second but she smiled at him and turned away, back to her friends. 

Edward felt his chest tighten.  He had to get out of this club, he nodded to Steve who watched with interest as his friend danced with a woman.  A beautiful woman, well above Edwards standards.  He walked out into the street and found a taxi to take him back to Tadcaster, back to his tidy little house, back to order in his life.
