“Hey
Papi
.”

“Hey Simone,” I said knowing who
the voice belonged to as I turned around. She was one of the servers who worked
on the floor. One of my main rules
is try
not to mix business with pleasure, but the way her ass sat out in her denim
shorts had my main man nearly standing at attention.

“You need anything? I mean
anything
?” She asked putting the
emphasis on anything.

My initial thought was to turn
her down, but the more I stared at the red lipstick coating her juicy lips,
pictures of her lips around my dick played over and over in my head. This
celibacy thing wasn’t me and a nigga could only wait so long, but despite all
the shit I talked I wanted to make this thing work with Savannah.

“Nah, I’m good,” I said as I
winked at her ready to keep it moving, but she grabbed me by the arm.

“Well, if you change your mind
just let me know,” she said sticking her card in my pocket. “I get off in half
an hour.” This time she winked and walked away.

I stood there for a second stuck
in a trance as I watched her walk away. I shook my head a little in order to
gather my thoughts. I had to stay focused, I coached myself.

As I bombarded my way through the
crowd,
I said my hello’s and waved to
Ace,
who lounged around in VIP. Even though he
was posted up in the VIP
section,
I knew
he was still putting in that work.
Ace and I
had
the same father, different mothers. He was older than me by three months and as
kids we were damn near inseparable. My father signed the club solely over to me,
but I thought it would be beneficial to me if I made Ace a partner, he was
smart and business
savvy
. Besides he had
a degree in Business Management and I
figured,
I would help him put it use.

After I
made
my rounds, I headed outside to my car. I stuck my Bluetooth in
my ear and dialed Savannah’s number. I was lonely and in the mood for company
or to be somebody’s company. The first call went unanswered, so I dialed again.
Just like the first time it went unanswered, so I dialed again. After the third
time with no response I called it a night. I wasn’t about to stalk her ass.

After I
drove
past Savannah’s house to make
sure,
she was home I rerouted and headed over to
Simone's
’.
I know I’m always contradicting myself, but my man downstairs is in serious
need of attention and since Savannah was being stingy with her pussy for the
time being I had to find it elsewhere. As I pulled up to her
spot,
I frowned. She lived in the projects and
not in the newly decorated one’s either. She lived in the older model ones that
look like they were built in the seventies.

I sat outside of her apartment
building wondering if I was really that hard up for some pussy. This is shit
you did when you were young. It wasn’t like I couldn’t scroll through my phone,
dial a number and have a chick meet me. I frowned as I looked from my left to
my right contemplating on whether or not I should go in. Spending money on a
hotel for her ass was definitely out of the question. A few minutes flew by and
I finally said fuck it. I was here now so I might as well make the best of it.
I had friends that grew up in the projects so who am I to judge.

I grabbed my gun from underneath
my seat and tucked it in my waist. I dialed Simone’s number.

“Hey, I’m here.”

“Come on up. It’s apartment 2B.”

“Aight,” I frowned, mad that I
would have to walk up a flight of steps. I looked from my left to my right
again, set my alarm and headed towards the building.

When I entered the
building,
I was surprised. It was hotter than
hell, but surprisingly it looked clean. The smell of stale piss still lingered
in the air, but other than that it was straight. When I reached the
door,
I could hear soft music playing. I shook
my head. I hoped this girl knew this was just a casual fuck nothing more. I
knocked on the door and waited a few odd seconds before the door finally swung
open.

“Hey Papi,” she stood back and
smiled.

“What’s up?” I asked as I entered
her house. I looked around and it was clean. The furniture was old and worn,
but it was clean.

“You want something to drink?’ She
asked.

“Nah, I’m good,” I said. I wanted
to skip the pleasantries. I was ready to get down to business. She still had
her work clothes on, a slight turn off for me. It was a little after two in the
morning. She had ample time to wash her ass after getting off of work, but to
each its own. As long as her pussy didn’t stink we were fucking.

“Okay.”

I stood there in the middle of
the floor waiting for her to lead me to the bedroom, but she didn’t. She sat
down on the couch and got comfortable. I frowned and blew an irritated sigh
through my nose. I continued to stand there, giving her that what you trying to
do look.

“So you straight trying to fuck I
guess?” She asked with an attitude.

“What you think I’m trying to do
at two o clock in the damn morning?” I asked with just as much attitude. This
is the type of shit I hated. Bitches always giving out invitations then get mad
when they find out that it is what it is.

She sucked her teeth and stood
up. I shrugged my shoulders and followed her to the bedroom. As soon as we
entered my nose was assaulted by a sour odor. I frowned as I watched her take
off her shirt. Another frown claimed my face when I noticed the skid marks that
lined her stomach, which meant she had kids. She never mentioned anything about
kids and I wasn’t about to ask. That really wasn’t any of my business. I took
my shirt off and slipped out of my pants.

She must have gotten the hint
because as soon as my pants came off she pushed me down on the bed. She tried
to kiss me and I quickly turned my head. For some
reason,
her lips didn’t look as appetizing as they did before. She
must have brushed it off because she settled on my neck instead. I closed my
eyes and imagined it was Savannah straddling me. A slight moan breezed through
my lips as she massaged my dick through my boxer shorts.

She went further south and I
waited in anticipation. She reached inside of my boxers and pulled out my stiff
rod, but nothing happened. I looked up and looked down at her. She stared at my
piece with a strange look on her face. I grabbed the back of her head and
guided her mouth down on my shaft. I damn near exploded in her
mouth
. She finally got into the swing of things
as she bobbed her head up and down like she was born to do this shit. I grabbed
the back of her head and properly fucked her mouth until my cum shot to the
back of
her throat
.

“Got dayum,” I yelled out. That
shit felt good. I lay there for a minute to gather myself.

She sat up and smiled. “My turn,”
she giggled as she stood up and began to wiggle out of her shorts.

I gave her a sideways look. I
don’t know what she meant by my turn, but eating pussy wasn’t on my resume
unless I was feeling you. She is just a straight up hit it and quit it and
that’s exactly what I was about to do. I rolled over and searched through my
jeans for a condom.

“Yo’ you got
any.
. . What the fuck?” I asked turning my
nose up. “What the fuck is that smell?” I asked out loud as I looked over at
her. She’d just slipped out of her underwear and she stood there like she
couldn’t smell that shit.

“I don’t smell anything,” she
shrugged her shoulders. She slid in the bed like everything was gravy.

I almost threw up as she hopped
in the bed beside me. Her box was hot and not in a good way. My
manhood
instantly deflated. She attempted to
climb on top of me and I pushed her ass so hard she fell off the damn bed. I
jumped up from my spot and grabbed my clothes.

“Nigga, what the fuck is wrong
with you?” She asked, standing up. Her wig had shifted and she was trying to
fix it and cuss me out at the same time. I didn’t entertain her. I put on my
clothes fished around in my pants for my keys and headed out the door. She was
right on my heels though. “You baby dick bitch. I know you not gone sit up here,
bust a nut and not return the damn favor. Nigga you ain’t shit.”

“Man get the fuck outta here.
Ain’t no way I’m going up in that stank ass pussy. You need to find a douche or
two and handle your business.”

“Fuck you. Little dick
muthafucka,” she yelled.

Just as I reached the
door,
she lost her damn mind and punched me in
the back of my head. That shit hurt and I could have sworn I saw stars. Don’t
judge me, but when it comes to shit like
that,
my hands are bisexual. I don’t discriminate against a man or woman. I believe
strongly in that old adage if you hit me I’m hitting that ass back. I turned
around so fast she jumped back. I guess she saw the look in my eyes because she
tried to
backpedal
, but it was too late.
I grabbed her by the throat and slapped the shit out of her.

Spit flew out of her mouth, but I
didn’t care. I slapped her again just as hard across the other cheek for good
measure, and then pushed her ass. She hit the floor hard. She looked up at me
with a look of surprise on her face as she held her cheek.

“You’re fired. Don’t think about
stepping foot up in the club. I will mail you your check.”

I slammed the door and headed
downstairs. I shook my head. “All this drama for some damn pussy.”

Chapter 5

Savannah

“What you got a taste for?” Zee asked me as we
walked towards the elevator.

“Chick Fila,” I laughed. She
looked at me sideways. “You asked me.”

“Can you think outside of the box
for once in your life? You don’t ever get sick of that place?”

“No. They are the bomb dot com.”

“Corny.”

“Whatever,” I said as we reached
the elevator that led to the parking garage. My cell phone began to vibrate in
my scrub pocket. I removed it and Roxie’s picture flashed across the screen.
“Hello.”

“Hey girlie. How is work?”

“It’s been busy. How about you?”

“So, so. Dr. Siddique is actually
having a good day, but you know that can change just like the days of the week.
Why can’t doctors be normal just like everybody else?”

I laughed knowing all too well
how doctors are. One minute they could be hot the next minute they could be
cold. We had one doctor who was the same all the time, Dr. Rhoades. She’s in
her late forties, but she is as sweet as pie. Despite her success and the
stress of the job she remains down to earth and I appreciated that.

“Well, I hope it stays that way.
What you about to do?” I asked as I hopped into Zee’s brand new Tahoe. “This is
nice,” I said nodding my head.

“Thanks,” Zee said.

“What? Who are you talking too?”
Roxie asked.

“Oh, me and Zee are on our way to
Chick Fila for lunch.” I could hear Roxie breathing hard and smacking her lips
in the background. I wasn’t about to entertain anything negative she would have
to say this time. “We are about to get on the road. Holla at me later.”

“So you’d rather have lunch with
some random than with me?” She asked.

“Roxie what the hell?” I asked
taking my phone from my ear. I looked at it with
a screw
face before placing it back up to my ear. “I work with Zee
and you know that.” As soon as I said it, I regretted it. Zee looked at me and
curled her lips. “Look I have to go. Bye.” I ended the call and threw my phone
in my purse. Not too long after it began to vibrate, but I chose to ignore it.

“What was that all about?” Zee
asked.

“Girl, I don’t know. Sometimes Roxie
be
tripping
,
for real.”

“That girl ain’t right Savannah.”

Zee is cool, but I remained quiet.
Roxie could get extra and work on my nerves, but to hear somebody talk bad
about her didn’t sit too well with me. They don’t know her or her situation. So
if Zee thought I was going to sit here and talk bad about Roxie she had another
thing coming.

“I’m over it. Let’s just go get a
quick bite to eat and head back to complete the rest of this twelve hour
shift.” She must have gotten the hint.

“Cool.”

“I swear them nuggets was
everything,” Zee answered as she stood up and gathered her trash off the table.

“Oh, but you wanted me to think
outside of the box,” I laughed. I stood up and grabbed my trash as well.

“Whatever,” she said quickly
putting her trash in the trash can without touching it.

I watched as she pulled her hair
up into a ponytail. She was a beautiful girl with ebony colored skin, deep
brown eyes and naturally long hair of her own, but for the life of me I
couldn’t figure out why she always opted to wear tracks.

“Why do you even wear fake hair?
I don’t get it.”

She shrugged her shoulders. “I
don’t know. I just like to be different.”

“Okay. Whatever floats your
boat,” I said as we walked outside.

As soon as we stepped outside I
regretted it. Zee was saying something, but my attention was elsewhere. We were
so close to each other I could smell the familiar scent of his cologne. It’s
been almost a year, but the love I held for this man still hasn’t faded. One
look into his beautiful green eyes and a wave of emotion came over me.

“How you been Savannah?”

I wanted to say something,
anything, but I couldn’t. The words were lodged in my throat and they refused
to come out. It’s amazing how someone can have this kind of power over you. I
stood there stuck on mute for what seemed like forever. Zee finally nudged me.

“Good,” I blurted out. Zee knew
of our history so she kindly excused herself

“I’ll be in the truck. We only
have fifteen minutes,” she reminded me.

“Okay,” I said in a voice barely
above a whisper. My mind told me to leave, but my heart begged me to stay.

“You look good Savannah,” Brandon
said after I continued to stand there like a deer caught in headlights.

“Thanks, you do too,” I said and
I wasn’t lying.

This man is fine. Tall, about six
four, light skin, green eyes, a pretty boy with pretty hair. As a little girl,
I always said I would never date a light skin guy, but this dude caught my
heart and kept it. This was awkward. I could tell by his demeanor that he had
so much more to say, but now was not the right time. He was taking a risk by
standing here talking to me.

“I don’t know what happened
between us Savannah,” he said with so much sincerity he made me sick to my
stomach, literally.

I rolled my eyes and sucked my
teeth. I couldn’t bring myself to go there with him right now. I knew if I did
my emotions would boil over and it would take me a while to calm them down.

“Brandon, don’t even,” I said
waving my hand in the air ready to step around him.

“Savannah please, just talk to
me.”

I looked into his eyes and I
almost fell for it. He almost had me, but God has a way of doing things.

“Hey
bae
. I’m sorry it took me so long.”

My heart dropped to my stomach as
I watched her walk up to Brandon and
hook
her arm in his. I shook my head and quickly walked away. He called my name, but
I kept on going. I ran to Zee’s truck and hopped in.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“Nothing,” I said shaking my head
and shrugging my shoulders, trying my best to appear like my run in with
Brandon didn’t faze me.

“Then why are you crying?”
