“Binding spell,” Anatha told Envy.

“Can we watch?” Ivy Lee asked.

She shook her head. “No.”

She got the black cord but couldn’t find candles. Anatha turned to Envy and Ivy Lee behind the counter of the Feed and Greet. The name was their idea when they took over the store.

“Where are the candles?”

“Autumn didn’t bring any over this month,” Envy said as her daughter started crying behind her in the crib. It woke Ivy Lee’s baby, and they howled together.

“She did teach you guys to make them, right?”

Envy held her baby up. “Hello. We are busy.” She jiggled the baby.

“Stop that Envy,” Anatha said. “I don’t think it’s good to do that to a baby.”

Envy gave her a look. “I am the mom here. You have no kids. Change that, and then maybe we can talk.”

Anatha rolled her eyes at her cousin. Not cousin anymore, just her friend? Her and Autumn were real cousins. The world had flipped for not only Autumn, but her as well. She had a twin brother. And already she wondered how she had lived without him for so long. They were exactly alike.

“Whatever. I want to say good bye before you leave. So don’t just take off.”

“Sure,” she said with her back turned as she changed her daughter’s diaper.

“There were no candles,” Anatha announced, walking into the room.

Autumn sat by Stefan and jumped when he howled. “Hungry!” he writhed on the bed.

“Shh,” she said in a calm voice. “Soon, Stefan, just hold on.”

“We can get past the candles by using ourselves. We’re elements,” Aarawn said.

“Wouldn’t that call Akasha?” Mabon asked.

He sat down, thinking about it. “I don’t think so. Akasha would have to be called. If we call to ourselves, I think everything will be okay. Autumn?”

“Akasha, as in the spirit? So are there five of us?” Anatha inquired.

“No, just us. Akasha can’t be a person; it is chaos, soul, spirit,” Aarawn replied.

“But

“We don’t have time for this!” Autumn declared, standing up. “I’m ready.” She picked up her dagger.
Mother moon help me
, she thought. She pointed the knife to the ground and called her energy. She walked a clockwise circle around the bed.

Aarawn took his place in the east. “To the east, I invite the powers of Air. To blow out the old and bring in the new on your winds of change.

Anatha went to the south part of the circle. “To the south, I invite the powers of Fire. To burn away regrets and shine your gentle rays upon me for growth.”

Mabon went to the west. “To the west, I invite the powers of Water. To cleanse me of negativity and purify my thoughts.”

Autumn finally took her spot in the northern part of the circle. “To the north, I invite the powers of Earth. Let your renewing strength bury all ills and open new paths before me.”

The powers slammed into each of them. Their eyes burned with the color of the element they were. The circle flared into place as a bluish-silver fire burned around them. They each felt a tickling sensation as if something wanted to be awakened. The Spirit element was so close.

Our
sprit
, Mabon thought.
We are bound now and forever
, he looked at his sister. She gave him a quick nod. They had all heard him.

“The circle is created,” Autumn said. It felt as if an invisible hand was pulling her towards Stefan. She couldn’t stop. At that moment, each of their auras shined brightly. Hers was a forest green, Mabon’s blue, Anatha’s red, Aarawn’s yellow, and Stefan’s white. The reddish black specks swirled through his, but there was something else to it now. She saw each of the element colors swimming around in his.

Autumn held a piece of paper with Stefan’s name on it, and the name of the beast that possessed his body. Anatha came to her, taking the paper, and pulled the black cord from her pocket.

“I bind you Hound of the Hill.” She wrapped the cord around the paper. “I bind you until we can find a cure.” She continued wrapping. “I bind you from your bad behavior and ill will. And do no more harm to Stefan. Let the magic begin without wait.” She finished wrapping. “Harm no more, this be your fate.”

Stefan opened his eyes, body still, and covered in sweat. “Thank you,” he whispered before closing his eyes, drifting into a dreamless sleep.

Autumn didn’t move but spoke clearly. “I thank you power of Earth and dismiss you.”

Anatha did the same. “I thank you power of Fire and dismiss you.”

“Power of Water, my sincere thanks, and I dismiss you,” Mabon said, walking over to his sister.

“I dismiss and thank you, power of Air,” Aarawn said.

Autumn walked to the edge of the circle and cut the knife over the fire. It disappeared. They each felt the bubble of power pop, making their own ears pop with the pressure. Their magic was sucked into the wrapped paper. The overwhelming feeling of the power made Anatha drop it, but Mabon was close enough to catch it before it could hit the floor.

“The circle is open, never gone, as it is always around,” Aarawn whispered.

“We need to go soon,” Mabon said.

“How long will this hold?” Autumn asked.

“I don’t know,” he said. They all looked down at Stefan. “Hopefully until we get to Fontane.”

Chapter 6

Anatha stood at the window. Jaime came up behind her and wrapped her in his arms. She leaned her back against him. “We’ll see each other in a month or two,” she said.

He nodded. “It’s going to be a long month or two. I’ll be okay knowing you’ll be okay.” Although the introduction of her brother made him a bit nervous. They looked exactly alike. They were the same from their height to their small accent. Even their hair was the same brown copper color. But their eyes were so different; hers were burgundy and his were almost yellow. He looked blind. It was the eyes that made him nervous.

She turned in his arms. “I’ll be worrying about you until you come back. You and the others are so accident prone.”

He nodded, thinking about everything they had all been through. He looked down at Anatha. “What’s wrong?”

She shook her head. “I was just thinking.”

“Not hungry?” Rowan asked as he and River sat at the table with Autumn.

“I’m a little nauseous.” She looked down at the great pasta dinner he had created. “I’m sorry. It looks great though.”

“Worried,” River said, eating a bite of the homemade pasta. He closed his eyes. “Mmm. Rowan, you are amazing.”

Rowan bent over and kissed him. “Thanks, babe.”

Autumn sat, watching them. “I just can’t think of us being apart.”

River took another bite, and Rowan took his bowl. “Wait; no,” he said softly, fork in hand.

“It’s okay. We can finish later,” He grabbed Autumn’s bowl and put it on the counter. He came back to her and grabbed her hand, pulling her to her feet. He kissed her, long and deep, pressing her back onto the table. He looked over at River. “Let’s have dessert first.”

Rowan slowly undressed Autumn, raining kisses on the flesh he uncovered. He turned her around to face the table, using his hand on her back to bend her forward. She said nothing but went along. He removed her pants, and then her panties. He kissed along her back as he got on his knees. His fingers caressed her delicious pussy. He bent in and flicked his tongue, quickly tasting.

“Oh, Rowan,” she whispered. He teased his fingers along her folds, letting one finger push inside her.

“I want to remember your taste.” His lips moved against her, making her shiver.

River walked over to Rowan, pants already off, dick hard. Rowan looked up at him, and with a smile, he took River’s dick in his mouth as he pressed a finger into Autumn. As he moved his head up and down River’s shaft, his finger moved in and out of Autumn.

Autumn moaned on the table as the finger slid easily in and out of her. Her body vibrated as she heard the sucking sounds behind her. “I want to watch,” she moaned.

Rowan stopped, and River helped her to her feet. He plunged his greedy tongue in her mouth as he sat her on the table.  Rowan’s mouth clamped around her clit. He sucked and teased her as his hand ran slowly up and down River’s shaft. They watched her eyes light up like green orbs, her body starting to shake as the first orgasm hit.

Rowan took his mouth away and plunged two fingers inside of her, letting her ride out the orgasm as he took River’s cock into his mouth. Rowan loved the taste of his lovers. His own dick wanted to play as River gripped his head. His hips began to move as he kept rhythm with Rowan’s sucking and teasing tongue.

“No, Rowan, stop,” he said, breathless. Rowan looked up at him. “Not yet.” Rowan nodded and River helped him up from the floor. Rowan kissed River deep and hard as River reached down, releasing his cock.

“You taste good,” Rowan said, licking his lips. “You both do.”

River turned Rowan towards Autumn. Her legs were wide open, and both could see how wet and ready she was. He slammed his dick inside her, making her scream with pleasure. He moved in and out of her, his eyes closed, loving the feel of being in her. He felt River behind him, and he prepared himself for the pressure of River’s dick.

River moved gently between his lovers cheeks. As Rowan relaxed, he moved easier. Rowan pressed into Autumn and let River do most of the work. As he rode him, he moved into Autumn. His mouth grabbed one of her large hard nipples and pulled, making her gasp. He could feel her spasm around his dick, and it felt so good. River started to make soft moaning sounds behind him, and already he could feel his own orgasm build. It swelled, making him close his eyes, waiting to burst.  Finally he came, yelling as River bit into his shoulder, coming along with him.

They were all quiet as they breathed hard. “I think I’m hungry now,” Autumn whispered, making them all laugh.  Autumn threw her head back, crying out as another orgasm ripped through her as River and Rowan separated. Rowan helped her to sit, and with a wet rag, cleaned where she had been on the table. River grabbed everyone’s bowls.

They ate in silence. “Can I get seconds on dessert?” River finally asked.

“We have all night,” Rowan said, giving him a wicked smile and wink.

They finished their food and went to the bedroom. Already naked, fingers and tongues moved over flesh. Moans filled their night as flesh slapped against flesh. Pleasure rippled through them.

The guys worshipped Autumn, making her feel like a goddess. They made her come over and over again. Just when she thought they were done, they started back up. They took turns, they shared her, and they shared each other. She loved watching them fuck each other while she played with herself.

She lay back, exhausted, breathing hard. “We need sleep.”

Rowan laid on her left and River on her right. One hand started to stroke her clit as fingers pushed inside her. Mouths attacked her nipples. One managed to pull away.

“We can sleep on the road,” River said. “I’m not done with you yet.”

She grabbed a pillow as the shaking started and screamed her orgasm into it.

Drake handed Envy some baby formula. He walked over to Rowan. He was writing something. “Ready? I thought Autumn would be here to say goodbye?”

Rowan shook his head. “We talked about it. And it would hurt more if she had to watch us leave.”

“Hurt you?”

“Damn straight.”

“Already, I’m missing her,” River said, frowning.

“No crying,” Rowan whispered, “we promised.” River nodded.

Drake turned, watching Autumn walk over. He smiled, giving her a small wave. She waved back and walked over to Rowan and River, whose backs were to her. She put her hands on each of their shoulders. They looked up, a little surprised, as she gave them a sad smile.

“I know we promised, but …” She stopped.

River turned quickly, almost tripping. She held her hands out, steadying him. He grabbed her in a bear hug and squeezed tightly. “I’m so glad you came,” he said.

“You are making a scene,” Envy said.

“Shut it, Envy,” Autumn said. “I am saying good bye to my boyfriends.” She turned back to the guys. “I had to … just in case.”

“Shh,” Rowan said and kissed a tear from her eye. “No just in case. We will be back, and we will live happily ever after.”

He held her head in his hands and made her look at him. “I promise to be good, if you do,” she whispered.

“Well, I promise, but I can’t make any promises for this devil,” River said, elbowing Rowan, making all three giggle.

“Gag me. What is taking Jaime so long? Why is he even coming?” Envy asked.

“Don’t get hurt or killed,” Autumn said.

Rowan’s lips and her lips touched. It was need, and it was their goodbye. They kissed as if they’d never see each other again. Finally, Autumn pulled away. She then kissed River with the same intensity.

“I have to go.” She said, choking back a sob. “I love you guys.”

“I love you more,” Rowan said and walked over to the Winnebago.

“He lies, because he knows I love you the most,” River said, making her laugh.

“Are you guys fucking kidding me?” Envy said with disgust.

“Jealous?” Autumn said and rolled her eyes.

Jaime ran over. “Sorry I’m late. I had,” he paused, “something to do.”

Autumn smirked. “Your fly is down,” she said with a knowing look.

“I did it,” Jaime told her with a giant grin on his face.

“Good for you. Be safe out there. All of you.”

“We are going to be meeting a new person on the way to Fontane.” Aarawn told them as they pulled out of the gates, leaving Winton. They turned off Winton Way onto Highway 99.

“You know I think the government had something to do with the infection,” Anatha said as Mabon swerved around a few dead cars.

“No way. Moorgun created it,” Mabon said as the van sped along.

Stefan sat up. “So where exactly are we going?”

Aarawn smirked, looking back at him in the rearview window. “It’s a secret.”

Mabon laughed. “It’s such a secret, even we don’t know. And we were raised there.”

“Where is it close to?” Anatha asked.

“Trinity National Forest,” Aarawn replied. “Or maybe it is actually in the forest.”

After two hours of boring travel, they pulled into a park for a break. “Autumn, are you hungry?” Mabon asked, shaking her.

She snapped awake. “What?”

He laughed. “Are you hungry?”

She shook her head as a car pulled up, and a tall man with blond hair got out. His eyes scanned the area, and the people.

“Davies,” Aarawn said, walking to the man with his hand out. “Pyrus said your aunt finally found you.”

Davies took his hand. “And you are?”

“Aarawn. My sister, Anatha,” he said, putting his arm around her protectively. She wasn’t sure how to respond. She barely knew him, yet it felt so natural to be around each other. Even the touching.

“Hi,” she said, transfixed on the man. He was hot, and even though she didn’t want to admit it, he had a better physique then any of the guys in town.

“Our cousins: Autumn and Mabon,” Aarawn said and pointed to them.

“Hi,” they said jointly.

Davies laughed a good-natured laugh. “Mabon and Autumn. What names for twins.”

Autumn thought about it. “He’s right; Mom didn’t have trouble thinking of names, did she?”

Mabon smiled, putting his arm around her. “You think we have it bad? Aarawn and Anatha are both named after Underworld deities.”

“And you are?” Davies asked, walking over to Stefan.

“Stefan: not related, just possessed and tagging along to get fixed.” Davies looked around the group, clueless, as Autumn chuckled at Stefan’s joke.

“I think it’s time to get going,” Aarawn said. “We still have two hours to go.”

Autumn and Anatha shared a horrific stare. “You’re joking, right?” Anatha asked. Aarawn shook his head. “Oh, great. My ass is already tired from sitting so long.”

“Just take a nap like Autumn.”

“Unlike Autumn, I actually slept last night.”

“I got sleep,” Autumn said.

“Sure. I heard your sleep when I went to bathroom around three in the morning.”

Autumn’s cheeks got red. “Jealous?”

“A little.”

“And Jaime

“Hey!” Aarawn said, “We don’t want to hear this.” Mabon’s face had gone a bit red as he shook his head.

River sighed, looking out the window. “You miss her already?” Rowan asked.

“I was thinking. Why do I want to go back? I mean, I’ll see my mom, but think of the others who were in her safe house.”

“Your ex,” Rowan smiled.

“Your ex.”

They shared a long look. “Boy Toyz,” Linden said behind them.

They all made an ack noise and went back to what they were doing.

“You think Stefan will be okay?” River asked.

“When we come back and he’s not trying to eat you, that’ll be a big difference,” Jaime said.

“You’re right.” Rowan stared out the window. They were heading east on Highway 99.
“I can’t wait to come back,” he said sadly.

“Me too,” River said.

****

They finally hit Redding. Autumn looked around at the devastation. “My goddess, that must have been a safe house,” she said as they drove by the old burnt down warehouse. A body walked out in front of the van, and Aarawn stepped on the brakes. It sent everyone in the back flying to the front.

“I think he’s dead,” Aarawn said. They had all heard the impact the body had made with the front of the van.

After detangling herself from Mabon and Stefan, Autumn peeked over Aarawn’s seat. “Umm, yeah …” she nodded. “He’s not dead.” She pointed to the bite mark on his left arm as the body managed to get back to its feet and walk over to them.

“Great,” Anatha moaned. “Me without any guns.”

“Let’s get out of here,” Autumn said in a small voice, looking outside. “There could be more.”
