“That sucks. What did he think you were supposed to do?”

“No clue, but I can’t put my life on hold because he can’t stomach breaking up with me. I think you’re great. We have some issues to work through, like our locations, but I don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to be with you just because he’s a dick.”

“If he called and asked you to go back with him, would you go with him?”

“No.”

“Because of me?”

Jens shook his head. “I deserve more than a guy who won’t talk to me.”

“You do realize that if we’re together, we may not see each other very often.”

“I don’t believe for a minute that you’d cut off communications. If you decided this wasn’t working, I think you’d have the balls to call me.”

“I would.”

“So it’s agreed then?”

“What?” Elliot asked.

“We’re in a relationship, and we’ll talk, making sure to never just leave the other one hanging.”

Elliot placed the condom and lube on the counter and cupped Jens’ face. “I’ve got no clue if this is going to work, but I’m willing to try.” His lips slid over Jens’, slowly brushing back and forth. He licked at the slit of Jens’ lips, and he opened, accepting whatever Elliot wanted to give.

Their tongues slid against each other, and he moaned. He wanted Elliot to be naked. Both hands were on the waistband of Elliot’s pants, tugging them open. He worked to get the man undressed, craving skin-to-skin contact. When they finally were both naked, Jens pressed his body to Elliot’s, holding him close.

“Shower, now.”

Jens leaned back, staring into Elliot’s eyes. “You feel so good.”

“Come on, get in. I want to warm you up then snuggle in bed with you all night long.”

He stepped into the shower and sighed. The hot spray relaxed him, but Elliot’s hands on his body, massaging his muscles relaxed him more.

Elliot kissed his shoulders and neck, his hands running over Jens’ chest. His dick was achingly hard as his desire built, but Elliot ignored his cock, coming close but never touching.

“Please, touch me.”

“I will, but give it time.”

He moaned with frustration as Elliot continued to touch him, just not where he wanted. Then Elliot slid his hand over Jens’ ass and between his crack, his fingers brushing over Jens’ opening. He gasped and spread his legs, opening for Elliot.

Elliot’s fingers brushed over his hole again. A shiver raced through Jens. He placed both hands on the wall and bent just a little, giving Elliot a better view of his ass. The water from the shower beat down on his back, sluicing over his body. Elliot reached between his legs and fondled his balls, rolling them gently between his fingers.

“More,” Jens begged.

“I’ll give you more, just wait.” Elliot bit down on his shoulder, mixing pleasure with pain.

The snick of the lube cap caught his attention, and Jens glanced over his shoulder. Excitement sizzled through him. Elliot’s lips twisted into a sexy smile as he squirted lube on his fingers. Jens drew in a deep breath, ready for the thick digit. Elliot set the lube down and rubbed one hand on Jens back while sliding his other over the tight pucker. Jens relaxed as Elliot pressed in, searching for his gland. He closed his eyes as Elliot ran his finger over the sweet spot, leaving him wanting more.

Jens pushed back, and Elliot chuckled before adding another finger. Pain and pressure increased, making Jens hiss in a breath through his teeth. He blew it out, forcing his body to relax. Elliot continued to fuck him with his fingers, filling Jens with each thrust in.

“I want you, now,” Jens begged.

Elliot’s free hand smacked his ass, leaving a sharp sting behind.

“Hey?” Jens said, secretly loving the way Elliot had swatted him.

Elliot removed his fingers, and Jens complained. Glancing over his shoulder, he watched as Elliot tore open the condom package, tossing it to the corner. He rolled the rubber on, then squirted more lube into his hand.

Jens reached down and stroked his dick, anticipation swirling through him. He wanted that cock in him. A shiver snaked through his body as he thought of Elliot’s perfect cock sliding between his ass cheeks. More precum leaked out of his slit as he imagined Elliot pushing in and pulling out.

Elliot lined up behind him, his cock pressed against Jens. A wave of dizziness hit Jens as Elliot massaged his hip. Everything felt wonderful. He’d not been this excited in a long time. No matter how many times he’d been with his ex, they never were this in tune with each other. It seemed like Elliot knew exactly what to do.

“Tell me if this hurts,” Elliot whispered.

“Please, just press in.”

Jens held steady as Elliot rocked forward, his dick sliding in. Jens sighed and closed his eyes, forcing his body to relax as he adjusted to the invasion. The thick head slid in deeper, and he gasped as his ass squeezed.

“Relax, babe.”

“Mmm, trying.” Jens breathed in slowly, thinking calming thoughts as he adjusted. “Ready, just go slow.”

Elliot massaged his lower back as he pressed in, moving slowly as he slid deeper into Jens. When he felt Elliot’s hips press up against his ass, Jens blew out slowly. Elliot’s hips swayed, creating a slow short stroke. Jens relaxed and opened more, his body welcoming Elliot in.

The pressure from Elliot’s fingers increased on his hips. Jens looked back over his shoulder, taking in the exquisite look of pleasure on Elliot’s face. The pattern changed, and Elliot pulled out almost all the way before sliding back in. Jens was ready to rock it, so he met Elliot’s thrusts by pushing his ass back, increasing the force. They both groaned, and Elliot hissed in a breath as Jens slammed back again.

“So good,” Elliot said.

Moving together, he and Elliot hit a groove that made Jens’ balls pull up tight and his head swim. He reached down, the rhythm faltering just a bit as he stroked his dick. Elliot held on tighter and slammed into him harder. The sharp slap of their bodies echoed throughout the shower.

“Fuck!” Jens shouted as cum spurted out of his dick. Elliot bucked behind him before pulling him close, his back plastered to Elliot’s chest, water spraying on their faces and into his eyes, but he didn’t care. The pulse of Elliot’s dick could be felt deep inside his body, and he focused on that, loving how complete he felt with Elliot deep inside of him.

They were both breathing hard when they separated. Elliot pulling out left a sting in his ass, but he didn’t pay it any attention. The sex had been amazing, his orgasm more than fulfilling.

He watched as Elliot tied off the condom and tossed it on the floor before grabbing a bar of soap and unwrapping the paper protecting it. Elliot brought the soap to a lather and began washing Jens’ body. They kissed as they cleaned each other, but words weren’t spoken. Once their hair was washed and their bodies cleaned, Elliot shut off the water and grabbed a towel, drying Jens first.

“I’m starving.” Jens yawned and Elliot smirked, “And tired.”

“Let’s get some sweats on your ass, and I’ll order room service. What do you want?”

“A burger, cheeseburger, fries, maybe a Coke.”

“Sounds good. Get dressed, or you could crawl into bed naked. I’ll take care of everything.”

Jens leaned in and kissed Elliot, “Thank you.”

They ate in the comfort of their room with the curtain open to the view of the Charles River. Winter had turned the city into a wonderland, hiding any ugly behind a blanket of snow.

Jens received a text, and he glanced at his phone, seeing that it was from the airlines. Depression filled him. How could he leave Elliot after finding him?

“What was that?”

“My flight is on for ten forty-five in the morning.”

“Oh.” Elliot stared out the window, his mouth in a frown. “I received a note about that earlier when I was in the bathroom. I was trying to ignore reality. My flight is at nine twenty in the morning.”

“This sucks,” Jens said.

“We’ll figure it out. We’ll Skype, text, and talk on the phone. I’m not willing to let you go without figuring out if this works.”

“I want it to work, but if it doesn’t—”

“I’ll be honest.”

“I appreciate that.”

Elliot cupped his cheek and brushed his lips softly over Jens’. “Somehow, we’ll be together.”

CHAPTER SIX

Elliot had a hard time falling asleep, and when his alarm rang in the morning, he didn’t want to get out of bed. It was hard enough to move because of the chill in the air, but leaving Jens was near impossible. They showered, saying little as they packed their bags and prepared to leave.

Once ready, he opened the curtains and stared at the river below, wondering how everything had changed, and yet it was all the same. Jens wouldn’t be going home with him.

Jens came out of the bathroom and stood behind Elliot. Neither one of them spoke. After a short moment, Elliot turned around and placed his hand on Jens’ shoulder.

“I have to leave,” Elliott said.

“So do I.”

Elliot cupped the back of Jens’ neck and pulled him close. Their lips pressed together in a sweet and gentle kiss that left Elliot breathless. They separated and Jens leaned his forehead against Elliot’s, sighing deeply.

“You ready to head out?” Jens asked.

“Yes, I’m ready.”

They caught the subway to the airport and made it through security. Elliot was heading the opposite direction from Jens. He didn’t want to say goodbye, but he only had forty minutes until his plane took off, and he still had a few gates to go.

“I’ll call you when I land,” Elliot said.

“I’ll still be in the air, but please call. I want to know that you got home.”

Elliot glanced around before pulling Jens into a hug and brushing his lips over the side of his head. Though they were in Boston, neither one of them felt comfortable kissing in public. He almost laid one on Jens anyway, but he didn’t want to make the guy upset.

They both stepped away from each other, Jens’ lips turning down in a frown for a brief moment. Elliot forced himself to walk away, not looking back, because he knew if he did, he’d miss his flight.

As he stood in line waiting to board the airplane, his phone dinged. He pulled it from his pocket and swiped his finger over the screen, seeing that he’d received a text. He pulled up the app, smiling to himself as he read the note.

Watching you walk away was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’ll call when I get home. It will be late for you though, so don’t feel like you have to wait up.

He rubbed his fingers over the screen, wishing he and Jens lived closer to each other. How could this man have wedged himself so completely into Elliot’s life? Maybe it wouldn’t work out if they were together in real life, but he’d never know.

I couldn’t look back. Even now, as my plane is boarding, I want to run to see you. I’ll figure out a way to come out and see you soon. I miss you.

Elliot pressed send and handed his ticket to the gate agent. His heart squeezed, and tears stung his eyes. Missing Jens was now a part of his life. Being without the man would be difficult. He took his seat, staring out the window as he watched the ground crew load the luggage. Pain filled him, and his heart broke into a million little pieces.

When he got home, he called Jens. Of course Jens didn’t answer, because he was still on his flight. Then Jens called him back. Elliot was asleep. The next day, Elliot went to work early and was pulled into meeting after meeting. He had five minutes to grab a sandwich that had been brought in for his working lunch. While he was in the bathroom he checked his phone, seeing a text from Jens.

Miss you. I’m up and drinking coffee.

Elliot smiled and started typing after he washed his hands.

I’m in meetings all day. It’s been crazy. I miss you. I’ll call later, once I’m home.

The bathroom door opened, and he pocketed his phone. Work called, and he had to answer, since he needed the money. That first week, they talked on the phone daily, texted, and sent emails. On the first Saturday after leaving Boston, they Skyped. Jens showed up for the session totally naked. Elliot took little time removing his clothes.

During the second week, Elliot had to travel for business. They talked less. He hated missing Jens’ calls, but by the time he got back to his hotel room, he was exhausted. The third week after Boston, Elliot stayed up Saturday night, crafting a letter to Jens. They hadn’t talked in four days, and he couldn’t stand being apart for another moment. He saw no end in sight to their problems. In the end, he deleted the letter and sent a simple text early Sunday morning.

I miss you.

Elliot fell asleep waiting for the reply.

CHAPTER SEVEN

Depression ruled Jens’ life. He wasn’t eating, his workouts were suffering, and his friends were worried. Two of his friends demanded he go party with them. He tried to tell them that he wanted to stay home, but they wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The club was hopping, and cute guys were all over the place. More than one sexy man asked him to dance. He said no. His friends finally shoved him out onto the dance floor, and he played along for a while but never once directly flirted with anyone. Then a guy who reminded him of Elliot came over to dance with him. He was nice, sweet even, and he wasn’t a total jerk which went a long way in making Jens relax.

The music died and the guy leaned in close, “It was so loud earlier, I’m not sure if you caught my name. I’m Mark.”

“Hi, I’m Jens.”

Mark lifted a brow, and Jens just smiled, not willing to divulge the history of his name. Elliot knew, and that was good enough.

“I’m thirsty. Do you want a drink?” Mark asked.

“Um, I’m not drinking tonight, but I am hot. I’m going to take a breather.”

Mark walked him off the dance floor and headed to the bar. Jens took a seat at the table he’d been at earlier. He shouldn’t be there. Even if he was having a little bit of fun, Elliot wasn’t here, and that made him depressed. Mark returned with a drink and offered a glass of water to Jens. He smiled and nodded but didn’t take a sip. It would have been too easy for the guy to slip something into the water, and Jens wasn’t willing to chance it.
