The Viking's Pursuit
Chapter Three

If he wasn’t mistaken, he’d say his sweetness was a bit piqued with him. But then again, considering the fact that he’d trailed after her like a lost puppy for the past two days, Dean could understand that. Since she’d woken up in her room with him by her side, he’d tagged along as she’d directed the setup for the chairs in the hotel’s courtyard. The next day he’d been with her when she needed to reschedule the time the caterer was to show up and make adjustments to the menu. And today the only reason he’d stopped following her around was because they had to get ready for the actual ceremony. He could honestly say he hadn’t envied her duties as her sister’s right hand.

Now as he stood and listened to the soft music playing as Ryssa walked down the aisle to Kyran, Dean could more than acknowledge that the bride was one of the most beautiful that he’d ever seen. And yet, his eyes kept straying to her maid of honor. Wearing a strapless, soft peach gown that stopped a few inches above the knee and cinched at the waist, the tiered skirt flaring out and bringing notice to her mile-long legs, Becca had his undivided attention.

Gorgeous. She looked gorgeous with her dark hair piled on top of her head in curls and makeup highlighting her pretty almond-colored features. But those eyes. They were what had captured him the moment Kyran introduced the two of them. Every time those gray irises glared in his direction, his dick jumped behind his zipper. Rather inappropriate with a reverend standing just a few feet away, but he couldn’t help himself.

***

She would stand over here and ignore his giant Dutch ass if it was the last thing she did.

Okay, that was what she told herself she’d do. But then Becca couldn’t take it anymore and she turned her head to glance at said giant Dutch and he gave her a slow, easy smile. The smile that conjured those whispered words from days before.

“I’m already in your territory, Becca.”

And she knew what territory he was talking about too. The latent bit that she had hidden away just like he’d said. She’d finally stopped lying to herself and mentally admitted that there was a part of her that truly did want someone to come home to at night. Someone to fight with over dumb shit. Someone to spoon her and hog all the covers. Someone to leave his socks inches in front of the hamper or dump his gym bag in the middle of the floor. Someone who would take her crap without putting up with her bullshit. Someone who would make her smile and laugh and feel like she was the only one in the room.

Quite simply put, someone to love her. Goddammit what had that viking bastard done to her?! Spending time with him, eating with him, talking to him over the past few days had obviously clouded her judgment greatly.

She couldn’t even begin to list all the reasons it was extremely inappropriate for her to be standing inches away from a reverend with her panties soaked just because of one smile!

***

He got as close as possible to her, easing into her side as she talked to her sister, and pressed his lips right to her ear before whispering, “For the love of God please dance with me before your nana asks me again. I can’t feel the left side of my ass because she wouldn’t stop pinching it.”

Dean could’ve been insulted at the surprised burst of laughter that left Becca’s lips, but it made him smile instead. She turned her head and looked at him. Over her shoulder, he watched Ryssa give him two thumbs up and an eyebrow waggle before she slipped off into the arms of her newly acquired husband. The pair found the dance floor themselves; a slower melody was beginning to play now.

“I should leave you at the old broad’s mercy,” she said, smirking.

Placing a hand against his chest, he pouted. “She has no mercy and I can show you the bruises to prove it.”

        Her lips twitched.

Dean gave a dramatic gasp. “Is that...is that a smile I actually see from you? Willingly?”

Becca rolled her eyes. “Your obvious trauma amuses me.”

This time he smirked. “Unh-hunh.” Holding out a hand, he wiggled his fingers. “Dance with me?”

        She hesitated.

        “Please?”

After a taking a deep breath, she grabbed his hand. Dean pulled her out on the dance floor and easily into his arms. For such a little thing her body molded to his own perfectly. Resting his chin on top of her head, he placed his hands on her lower back and inhaled. Lilacs. She smelled like lilacs and it was heavenly.

        “Becca?”

        “Hmm?”

        “Why do you hate me?”

She tensed then pulled back a bit to stare up at him. “I don’t hate you.”

        “Seems that way.”

Biting her lip, she looked off. “Tell me something.”

        “Yes?”

“What did you mean when you said I can’t fool you?” Her gaze returned to his.

Letting his eyes rove the features of her face, he answered, “I meant that I know what you want rather than what you say you want.”

Her brows winged. “Really? And that would be?”

“A man who knows that he can’t control you, but he can compromise with you. Someone who gets that your day-to-day life needs a lot of fun to keep you regularly entertained. Someone who gets that he runs the risk of having to bail you out of jail on a weekly basis. Someone who understands not only you, Becca, but what you need, even if it’s not always what you want.”

She stared at him for a long time. “I wish I hadn’t asked.”

Dean chuckled. “Too late for that, sweetness.”

Lips twisting from one side to another, she said, “I’m not ready to be anyone's wife, Dean.”

“What makes you think I was proposing?”

“The way you look at me when you think I’m not paying attention,” Becca answered simply.

He grunted. “I’m not trying to trap you. I just need you to understand that I’m not going to stop chasing you.”

She placed her cheek to his chest and admitted softly, “You scare me, Viking.”

“I don’t want you to be afraid, Becca. I want you to be prepared.”

        “For...?”

He held her tighter. “That last bit of land, the one you’re trying so desperately to hide away...it’s about to be taken.”

The Viking's Pursuit
Chapter Four

What he said should’ve scared her. It should’ve made that funny feeling in her chest return; the one where she wanted to run as far away from him as possible. But she wasn’t scared and she didn’t want to run. The only thing Becca felt at the moment was need—the need to have Dean Alexander inside her. Now. She was done playing the cat and mouse game.

From the moment their gazes locked, Becca knew good and damn well that she wanted him. She’d fought it, denied it, insulted him and brushed him off. And yet he was still here—charming her, seducing her. This time she wasn’t fighting or insulting. She just wanted to enjoy whatever transpired between the two of them, because Becca was more than tired of pretending she didn’t want what Ryssa and Kyran had. Watching her sister blossom under Kyran’s love and attention had been amazing, especially when she thought about the way her sister’s first marriage had ended in heartbreak.

Becca had been the wild one for as long as she could remember, too afraid that once she settled down, all that fun would dissipate. Yet as she looked at Dean, she didn’t have the slightest fear that he would ever try to change her. He would never let her walk all over him, but he would always allow her to be the same goofy, fun-loving, smart-mouthed woman that she was, and that was enough for her.

Now, hours after the wedding was over, she had Dean pushing her up against the wall of her suite, his tongue sweeping into her mouth as he swallowed her needy moans. Those large, rough hands that she’d denied wanting any involvement with were sliding up her thighs, leaving a trail of heat in their wake.

Dean suddenly pulled away from their kiss and took a step back. Slowly sliding his tux jacket off, he watched her though hooded eyes. Then he spoke and her breath shuddered out.

“Turn around and put your hands on the wall.”

As Becca did as he commanded, she briefly thought that yes, he had earned his nickname.

***

True, he could’ve taken her to the bed, but he wasn’t exactly in that frame of mind. Not when he had every interest of having the very thing that he’d been watching for weeks rolling against him—her ass. Soft touches and kisses could come later. At the moment Dean felt like nothing but the giant Viking Becca claimed him to be. When she turned and did as he’d demanded, his dick extended just another inch.

His gaze roved her and unable to keep his hands from doing the same, Dean eased behind her before gripping her hips and bringing her back flush to his chest. His lips pressed against her shoulder and he didn't waste any time finding the apex of her thighs. Whimpering, Becca put her hand on top of his, and at first he thought she'd make him stop—but she actually guided his hand inside her panties, right to the puffy lips of her core and up to her clit. But when he felt something small and ring shaped, he stopped.

That could not be what he thought it was. There was no way in... Oh yeah, it definitely was. And so the wild child lived up to her reputation. Groaning, Dean turned her in his arms and kissed her hard, his fingers delving back into her folds after briefly tugging on her clit ring as her moans filled his mouth. Leaving her lips, he kissed his way down the side of her neck and nipped her collarbone, continuing on to the tops of her breasts. He didn't stop, just yanked her dress top down and watched in astonishment as her nipples came into view along with two more small rings.

“Fuck...” Dean muttered, sucking one into his mouth and giving a gentle pull in tandem with her clit ring. Her voice rent the air as her hands found his hair and pulled him closer.

“Dean...” Becca’s low moan made his cock impossibly harder as he switched from one nipple to the other, then abandoned them altogether and dropped to his knees in front of her. He hiked her dress up higher, made her step out of her panties and stared at the sparkling little jewel that rested in her nether lips. Ever so slowly he took her right leg and hooked it over his shoulder before leaning in to flick his tongue over the small bundle of nerves. When he felt her legs clench, he went for it.

Dean dove his tongue straight into her, delighting in the way her hips moved, grinding her down onto the muscle. “Oh…Jesus…fuck…” She ran her hands through his hair again. “Gonna…come…”

That was what he wanted, wanted her to come long and hard until she was hoarse from screaming his name, until she was walking wobbly and could barely stand upright. Redoubling his efforts, he wrapped his lips around her clit and sucked it into his mouth then delved two fingers inside of her, pumping in and out until she sobbed and called his name again.

He grunted, tugging the small ring with his lips again, and just like that Becca let out a broken wail and came long and hard.

Panting, Dean lowered her leg and kissed her mons one last time before standing. She was drawing in small sips of air with her eyes closed, but when they opened the desire he saw in her gaze knocked the wind out of him.

“You’re looking at me like you’re not finished, Hans.” Her smirk was what snapped his control.

Dean unzipped his trousers and released his cock before sheathing it in the condom he’d stored in his back pocket. For a second he wondered if his arrogance would piss Becca off. When she kept her eyes focused on his, he let his concerns go. “Turn. Back. Around.”

Biting her lip, she once again did as he commanded and with a growl, Dean pushed her legs apart with his knee, filled his hands with her hips again and slammed inside her.

***

She wasn't prepared. Wet, willing, and ready, yet she still wasn’t prepared. The man's cock was huge. Becca had to stop herself from backing out when he’d taken it out of his boxers, the large mushroom head a deep purple and pointing right at her, and now she was glad she'd stayed right where she was. Damn, he felt good. No, not just good. He felt amazing moving inside her, those growls and grunts reaching her ears as he nipped the back of her neck.

“So fucking good...” Dean said, powering into her just a little harder.

        “Oh God…”

Dean gripped her hair and pulled her head back, nipping her earlobe and kissing up the side of her neck before whispering, “You like that way I fuck you, don't you? Feels good? Do I make you feel good, Becca?”

She nodded and he used his free hand to slap her ass. “I want an answer. Do...I...make...you...feel...good?” He punctuated each word with a thrust and ass slap.

“Yes!” she gasped out.

“Are you about to come?”

“Yes!”

He smacked her ass again and let go of her hair. “Did I give you permission to come yet?” Dean growled.

Becca panted out, “No,” as she shook her head.

“Then you don't come until I say you can. Understand?” His hands came up to play with her nipples, pulling the rings with each thrust.

She couldn't hold on much longer. “Dean...please...I need to...to...”

“What? You need to what? Say it!” He pumped harder.

“Let me come! Please!” Becca sobbed, reaching back to grip his thighs.

“Good girl.” Dean groaned then reached down and gripped her clit ring again. That was all it took—Becca shot off like a rocket, and Dean's roar of satisfaction followed closely after.

Chapter Five

“You have to let me sleep, Dean.” Becca groaned, moving his hands from where they’d trailed between her thighs. Hours. They’d been at it for hours and still the man wasn’t satisfied.

He kissed the back of her neck and easily shook off her hold. Middle finger encircling her piercing, Dean questioned, “What exactly made you get this?”

Trying to breathe normally, she answered, “It was my rebellious phase.”

Dean shifted one hand to her nipples. “And these?”

        “For fun,” she retorted.

He was quiet for so long that she looked over her shoulder just to see his eyes twinkling as his own shoulders shook. Laughing. He was laughing at her. Becca slapped his thigh and he let his chuckles out.

“I’m sorry. It’s just that…I have a feeling your whole life has been a rebellious phase.”

        Her eyes narrowed.

Dean pulled her back into his arms and returned his hands to their previous resting places. “So…about us.”

Huh? Us? What the hell was he blathering about? His fingers twisted her clit ring one way and then the other. Becca’s eyes crossed.

“Funny enough,” he continued. “I put in my transfer papers weeks ago to be moved from New York to here, being that this is where most of my and Kyran’s family is.”

        “Unh-hunh…that’s great…” Becca panted.

        “So I was thinking—”

Thinking? Why was he thinking? What were they talking about again?

“—that you and I could give dating a serious chance. I know you said you weren’t ready to become anyone’s wife yet.”

She was so close to coming, and when it happened half the hotel would hear; that much she knew.

“But,” Dean just kept talking, “What about becoming someone’s girlfriend?” He tugged a nipple ring at the same time he turned two fingers and slid them inside Becca’s pussy, finding her g-spot and sending her careening over the edge with a shout.

        “Yes...God…yes…”

Then she was gasping for air and trying to get her eyesight to normalize. Dean turned her in his arms and placed a kiss on her mouth before grinning down at her. “Great. So now you’re my girlfriend. That worked out well, huh?”

        Wait…what? What just happened?

He sighed and pulled her closer. “I think Ryssa and Kyran will be happy to hear the good news. Don’t you?”

        Tricky goddamn Viking!
