“Anything you heart desires.”

I thought about his statement, what it really meant. With him there were no limits – at least not many.

“Do you want me to get a job?”

“Not if you don’t want to have a job.”

“Won’t people call me a gold digger?”

“You’re not the type of person who cares what others think, are you?”

“No. You’re right.”

He was so correct. Each and every fear that appeared in my mind was shot down quickly. All that was left was a bright future for both of us. Peace fell over me for the first time in years. Steven offered a sense of security, which was more attractive than Xander the artist and Thurston the geek. Neither of the other two could give me what I needed – not completely.

As I traced a circle on his stomach with my finger, I suddenly wanted him. My hand slipped under the waist band of his pajama bottoms and grasped his cock. He didn’t stop me as I tugged at it. Suddenly overwhelmed by desire, I scooted down his body some. A moment later, I was close enough to pull it out and study it closely.

I could have taken him into my mouth from that position, but it wasn’t very comfortable, so I crawled between his legs. We made eye contact as I pulled the pajama pants all the way off. His face scrunched up as I licked the tip of his dick while holding it tightly at the base with my right hand. I smiled and bent my head, letting it slip past my lips and into my mouth.

He groaned as I sucked him. All I wanted was to give him pleasure. Every time I peered up at his face, he stared back at me with an intensity hard to match. Lust dripped out of his eyes as he stared into mine. The taste of him became more precious to me because I understood how good it made him feel. As I gave him head, I wondered if he would still love me when my body changed.

The self-doubt fell to the wayside as my mind concentrated on his cock, pleasing it, teasing it, treating it like it was my own. I came up for air, stroking it up and down a few times with my hand. My tiny, delicate fingers could barely wrap around it. He sat up, as if he wanted me to stop, so I popped the thick, mushroom head back into my mouth, swirling my tongue around the tip.

He laid back down as my lips pressed tightly against his smooth shaft. The friction built up as my head bobbed up and down on his wonderful cock. None of the other sex I’d had recently mattered anymore. It had all been experimenting. This was different. My love for Steven was displayed in the way I paid attention to his pleasure as I went down on him.

“I’m going to come,” he moaned.

“You’re going to come so good,” I said then sucked him harder and faster.

When the base of his cock twitched, I knew he was getting close. I kept my mouth wrapped tightly around the top, just waiting for him to pop. His warm, wet seed would spill across my tongue, nourishing me, letting me know I’d done a good job of pleasing him. He sat up again, this time more urgently, as if he didn’t want to blast his sperm with my lips locked around him.

But he did. And it was good. I loved the sensation as it hit the back of my mouth and he screamed out in pleasure. I opened my mouth, letting the sticky cream run out while I looked up and into his eyes. His chest rose and fell quickly as he tried to catch his breath. I crawled up and laid next to him with my head on his chest again. He put his arm around me and pulled me close.

After a moment, his breathing returned to normal. Well, almost. He got up and moved between my legs. As he pulled my pajama bottoms down, I unbuttoned my top to free my breasts. His hands ran up and down my thighs as he stared hungrily at his prize. I put my hands behind my head and prepared myself for the sensation of his wet, pink tongue sliding against my delicate flesh.

In that moment, our past together didn’t matter anymore. He licked me slowly and sensually, getting me even wetter. I gently ran my fingers through his hair. For all I cared, he could go down on me all night. I wouldn’t complain. His tongue touched my pink fleshy lips, and I moaned, arching my back slightly. While he lapped at me like a thirsty camel at an oasis, I played with my nipples.

The rock hard nubs sent pings of pleasure shooting through my body and down to my clitoris. As if on cue, his flat, broad tongue slid over the fleshy hood, making me scream in pleasure. He pressed two of his fingers inside me, moving them in and out quickly as he continued licking and kissing my pussy. I took short, quick breaths as my body tingled.

My orgasm hit like a tidal wave, washing over me as my body shook. He removed his fingers and scooted up my body. A moment later, his hard cock slid into my tight, wet hole. I moaned and wrapped my arms around his back as he held himself up with his powerful arms.

“You got me hard again,” he moaned.

I smiled. “It’s okay. I want you so bad.”

“You got me.”

He slid the entire length of his shaft in and out of me quickly. Each thrust, he changed the angle slightly, building up even more friction. If my first orgasm had been a ten, my next one was going to be even more powerful. His muscular chest pressed against my breasts as he pushed in and out of me. We never broke eye contact. I got lost in his eyes as he fucked me hard, fast, and without protection.

When I came again, I could sense he was close as well. Sure enough, after a few more thrusts inside me, he groaned loudly, slowing down. After he finished, he pulled out and laid on the bed next to me. Both of us had sweat covering our bodies. But it was all worth it. Of all the men I’d been with in my life, Steven was the best because he listened to me and responded accordingly.

We laid next to each other in silence for a few moments. Words weren’t always necessary for us anymore. After cleaning up in the master bathroom, we fell asleep together under the covers. Well, he fell asleep. As he snored, I stared up at the ceiling, wondering why I’d been so blessed. After all the mistakes I’d made in my life, I still had someone who truly cared about me. His snores didn’t bother me. They were the sound of life. And not being upset was true love. Eventually, I fell asleep.

The next two days were magical on so many different levels. Steven opened up to me and talked about his life before me. He even admitted how hard it had been for him not to make a move on me when I was his babysitter. We grew closer to each other with each and every day that passed. And then it all changed. One day, out of nowhere, he handed me a manila envelope.

“What’s this?” I asked as I opened it up and looked inside at the thick stack of papers.

“A pre-nup.”

“Okay…” I wasn’t sure how to respond. Is he serious? Doesn’t he trust me?

“Take your time, but it’s all pretty basic. My attorneys are insisting on it.”

“Your attorneys, huh?”

“And my money guys, but like I said, it’s all standard stuff.”

I stared at the envelope a moment longer then lifted my head to look him in the eyes. He tilted his head to the side.

“What’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong? Are you fucking serious? You just handed me a pre-nup when we’ve been talking about love and forever for the last couple days.”

His face scrunched up in confusion. “You’re upset?”

“Fuck yeah, I’m upset. Think about it from my perspective for a moment.”

“I have…”

“You just said it was your lawyers and money guys,” I interrupted as my anger boiled up inside me.

“It was, but…”

“I knew it was too good to be true. I’m just a trophy wife for you.”

“What? No! That’s not it at all.”

He tried to put his arms around my waist, but I pulled away.

“Don’t. I need some time alone.”

“Seriously? Can’t you see this from my perspective?”

I walked around him and headed to one of the thirteen extra bedrooms in the house. While I couldn’t kick him out of his own bedroom, I didn’t have to sleep with him. I needed time to think. Once curled up in bed, I stared at the envelope on the nightstand. I sighed and picked it back up, taking out the papers. Read them at least before you get too upset, I thought to myself as I read the first page.

Nikki and the Prenup

When I woke up the morning after Steven sprung the prenuptial agreement on me, I acted as normal as he could until he left for work. He was focused on business, as usual, so he didn’t notice anything odd at all. After he was gone, I returned to the master bedroom to think. Part of me wanted to go downstairs and spend time with George and Anne, but I wasn’t sure if I could marry Steven if he wanted a prenup.

The whole idea of signing a piece of paper saying he didn’t owe me anything if the marriage didn’t work out sounded horrible to me no matter how I looked at it. As I got out the actual document and read it, I became even more confused. Surely a team of crack attorneys had written the miserable fourteen pages of clauses and rules of the marriage. Does Steven love me?

I tossed the stack of papers on the bed and walked over to the desk with a laptop. Usually I avoided Facebook and all the drama that came with it, but I wanted to check on Maryanne. We’d been so close before I left Maine and Steven behind after the crazy orgy party at some random millionaire’s mansion. When I pulled up her profile page, I saw the last time she’d posted was the night of the party.

Nikki: U around, bitch?
Maryanne: Nikki! Finally! Fin-ally!
Nikki: Hey, I’m getting married.
Maryanne: Him?
Nikki: Yea. Can I call? I hate this chat thing.
Maryanne: Sure

“Nikki-bitchie!” she said a minute later.

“Hey, Maryanne. How you been?”

“Well, after losing my best friend, it’s been kinda tough.”

“I noticed you haven’t posted anything on Facebook.”

“Stalking me, huh?”

I smiled. “No. Not at all. It’s just…”

“You’re getting married.”

“Yeah. And I wanted to talk to you about something and get your opinion.”

“What?”

“Can we do it in person?”

“Sure. Where you at?”

“I’m at Steven’s, but I need to go interview bartenders for the wedding.” She didn’t say anything. “You still there?”

“Yeah, I’m just waiting for you to ask me to be your bridesmaid, bitch.”

“We’ll see. I have a lot to do. When can you pick me up.”

“How about now?”

“Still don’t have a job, huh?”

“Hah. Same old Nikki, I see. I’ll be over in about twenty.”

“Minutes? Hours?”

“Very funny. Bye.”

I disconnected the call and stared at her photo for a second before the screen went blank.

The sun was out, occasionally hid by white, puffy clouds, as I waited for Maryanne to arrive. She pulled up in a bright yellow Jeep Wrangler with no top or doors. So Maryanne, I thought and took a deep breath, trying to prepare myself for bringing her back into my life. What made her so interesting to me was what also made her dangerous and not trustworthy.

I walked over as she parked. She saw me, but she still honked the horn twice. I climbed in and immediately put on my seatbelt. We made eye contact. In just a few seconds, I saw she was the same Maryanne I’d left behind. Still, she was the best person in my life to give me advice about the prenuptial agreement Steven wanted me to sign. An attorney would be better, but I wanted her street wisdom.

“Cut it with the horn, okay?” I said, not afraid to resume my role in the relationship and start scolding her.

“Why? I haven’t talked to Steven since the party.”

“The children. I didn’t want them to see me leave because I’m still not entirely sure I should marry Steven.”

She put the Jeep into gear. It lurched forward. I grabbed the dash and held on for dear life.

“What? You still haven’t decided? I didn’t even know you were back in Maine.”

“Yeah, I have to fill you in on everything that happened,” I said excitedly.

Even with all her faults, I valued my friendship with Maryanne. She had forced me out of my shell in many ways, changing my entire outlook on life. She’s going to freak when I told her I had a magic mushroom phase in Cleveland, I thought as I looked at her.

“Well,” she said after a pause. “Go ahead.”

“I need a drink or two first,” I said. “And it’s kinda windy.”

“What?” she yelled, holding her hand behind her ear.

I waved her nonsense away and looked out the windshield. She’s going really fast. Or does it just seem faster because there’s no fucking roof or doors? About a mile down the road, she pulled into a gas station parking lot.

“So, where the hell are we going?”

“Oh, that’s right. We can use the GPS on my phone if you want. I have this app that finds all the places you need to go to when planning a wedding.”

“Sweet. And the bartender is number one?”

“Well, no.” I smiled. “But I need a drink or two before I tell you what happened to me.”

“Okay, but first you have to tell me why you’re not wanting to marry him this time. He’s a good guy. And like I said, we haven’t seen or even talked to each other. I think he really loves you.”
