Minka
loved being with Mr. Biggs as she referred to him. George’s wife died two years ago and he liked the company Minka provided. They weren’t in a relationship but he liked to have her on his arm to make himself look good. He didn’t mind fucking her, but if she sucked his dick right, she was free to shop the whole week or weekend she was with him. Minka was only twenty-three and she was living a life that women half her age, with careers, wanted to live.

Minka finished her bath and went in her bedroom to change into some clothes. She hadn’t seen Ashley in over a month. She figured she’d stop by and drop off some gifts that she’d gotten. She still debated what to do with her pregnancy. She could afford a baby but it wasn’t about her finances; it was the emotional part.

Minka
didn’t want to abandon her baby like her mother did to her years before. She had a lot to tell Ashley. She was the most level-headed of the two. She was put in the same situations four years ago. Ashley finished college and was now was a nurse in a Harlem hospital. Minka always commended her for being more than a baby mother on wealth fare. She loved that she went out and got a career so she didn’t have to depend on anyone else.

    ***

Minka pulled up to Ashley’s building and sat in her car for a minute before she got out. She spotted her cousin, Anthony, on the corner and cursed herself for pulling into that space. Minka and Anthony had a love-hate relationship. She loved him since he was family, but hated him for being a crackhead that schemed on his own family.

Minka
had once paid Anthony’s rent for two months before Edna informed her that Anthony didn’t have a house. He resided in a crack house in Harlem. Every time Minka ran into him, he gave her a sob story about his lights going off not knowing that Minka already knew he was a crackhead. Today wouldn’t be any different.

When she saw him go into the corner store
, Minka grabbed the bags, locked up her truck and ran up the steps as fast as her Louboutins pumps would take her. She rushed into the building and banged on Ashley’s door, thankful that she lived on the first floor.

“Why the hell you banging on my door like you’re the police?” Ashley rolled her eyes, looking through the peephole. She had just put Ashland down for a nap.

“Anthony is on the block
,” Minka panted between each breath while looking over her shoulder.

“I thought he was in rehab
. I just saw him at the hospital last week.” Ashley replied while taking the chain off the door and letting Minka in. She hurriedly locked the door behind her and proceeded to her kitchen to finish cooking lunch.

Minka took her heels off. Ashley didn’t tolerate shoes beyond the foyer in her apartment. Her house was immaculate. One would never think they were in the middle of the hood in Harlem with a crackhouse down the block. Ashley was one of those people who didn’t feel at home unless she was in the hood and Minka respected it. It just wasn’t for her.

Minka, what you got in the bags?” Ashley scoped the bags Minka sat on the couch.

“I got Ashland some outfits and you some dresses, heels
, and accessories. I know you’re fresh on the dating market,” Minka replied, taking everything out the bags.

Ashley left what she was doing in the kitchen and tried on the heels
Minka had bought her. She strutted around her living room like a runway model.

Minka
screamed and clapped, “Yasss, honey.”

Ashley was dark skinned with light brown almond
-shaped eyes. She had shoulder length honey blonde hair. Ashley prided herself on having an Athletic body even after having a son. She ran track every morning and it showed. Ashley gained minimum curves from having Ashland but that was about it. She was a great catch with or without the curves.

Minka, what would I do without you?” Ashley pranced around in her new heels.

Minka
loved doing things like that for Ashley and Ashland. Ashley worked hard and didn’t have the luxury of having the extravagant things in life. Minka always loved to pay it forward.

Minka sat on the couch in deep thought while Ashley tried on all the stuff. She didn’t know what she was going to do about the pregnancy. If she kept the baby, she might as well be kissing all of her sponsors goodbye. They called her because she was young, carefree, and sexy. They needed the break away from their children and wives. They didn’t want a mistress with a baby who could potentially be theirs.

“What you thinking about?” Ashley interrupted
Minka’s thoughts.

“Some personal shit,” Minka answered vaguely.

“Bitch
, as long as I known you, your problems are my problems, so spill.” Ashley got comfortable on the couch as Minka spilled the tea.

“While in Dallas this weekend, I found out I’m pregnant.”

”Let me guess you don’t know who the father is?”

“Nope,”
Minka answered barely above a whisper.

Minka, I think you know what you have to do. You’re fucking George and his son, William. Either one of them could be the father. Not mention, Austin, who you occasionally fuck when he can get away from his crazy ass wife. You could meet Mr. Right and do you really wanna have extra baggage? You see what I go through with having Ashland,” Ashley honestly answered.

“That’s why I c
ame to you. You give it to me straight. The thought of a little Minka sounds good now, but I know I am not prepared to quit the lifestyle I’m living. I have to make an appointment soon. I leave to Miami to meet up with Austin in a couple weeks.”

“See what I mean
. You’re never sitting your ass down. Go get my laptop so we can call some places.” Ashley slapped Minka on the thigh.

Ashley
loved her girl, but she was always on to the next thing.

Chapter Three

It had been two weeks since Minka’s abortion. She was in Miami for the weekend with Austin. He booked a suite at the Four Seasons for the weekend because he was only staying a day. Minka met Austin at William’s accounting firm. Austin was a client also one of the founders of a social media app. Minka, on many occasions, called him for appointments and brought him coffee whenever he came into the office. Austin was worth millions and soon billions. He was set to sell his app for thirty billion dollars next month. Austin was married to Jennifer with three kids who weren’t hers.

Austin’s wife, Jennifer was young,
22 years old, tall, and blonde with big tits and an even smaller brain. On the other hand, when it came to her
Money Bags
aka Austin, she didn’t play. She forced Austin to file restraining orders against Minka for stalking just to keep the two of them away from each other. Austin eventually dropped them to continue seeing Minka behind her back. Jennifer threatened Minka, as well as hired people, to hurt her just to keep her away from Austin. Jennifer had just undergone plastic surgery, and furthermore was on bed rest because of complications. Austin took that as a way to hook up with Minka, then took care of business before Jennifer would notice he was gone.

Minka sat on the balcony with the sun shining on her tanned legs, enjoying the view. She thought about her trip to see her great-grand parents in Fort Lauderdale. It was only a thirty minute trip. Austin came on the balcony with boxers and a t-shirt on. Austin was younger than Minka’s usual guys. He was thirty eight with a nice body and masculine facial features. He had a little speck of gray from stress, but nothing dye couldn’t handle.

Good morning Minka,” Austin said and sat beside Minka with the wall street journal.

Minka
smiled and watched him read the paper while she texted Ashley. Juelz decided to come around and give a hell about his child and Ashley wasn’t adjusting well.

Minka got up and went into the bedroom; she was tired of Austin already. He was boring and never offered conversation. She was glad he was leaving tonight and she wouldn’t have to put up with him for a couple months. The ten thousand he paid her was what made it all worth it in the end. Austin came in the room and shoved Minka on the bed. He liked it rough and Minka hated it, especially since she just had a baby sucked out her two weeks ago.

Austin pulled
Minka’s bikini bottom off, letting it drop to the floor. He snatched her legs opened and dived head first for breakfast. Austin licked Minka like a lollipop occasionally biting her on the inner thigh. Minka held in her scream. What he was doing actually hurt. Minka held on, hoping it would all be over soon. Austin flipped Minka over afterward rammed his dick in her asshole so hard it caused Minka to scream which turned Austin on. He slapped her ass so hard his imprint was on her ass cheek. Austin rammed his dick in and out of Minka’s ass until he felt he was about to nut then he inserted his dick in Minka’s dry pussy. Minka was nauseous from the pain. Austin pinched her ass so hard, Minka screamed again as he filled her body with his semen. Minka could have cried. She just had an abortion and he just ejaculated in her. Austin put his boxers back on not noticing he had blood on his dick and went back to read the wall street journal like he didn’t just humiliate another human being.

Minka jumped off the bed and ran to the bathroom. She was in so much pain she couldn’t sit on the toilet without wincing. She had blood and had bite marks all on her inner thigh; her ass was red and would soon be black and blue. Minka cleaned herself up, grabbed the bloody sheets, and put them in the hamper. She got dressed and went to the drug store without uttering a word to Austin.

“Can I please have Plan B, please?” Minka asked the cashier at CVS.

She hated that it had to be behind the counter. She felt like everybody watched her and wondered what kind of whore she was that had unprotected sex.
Minka put ibuprofen, orange juice, and mints on the counter. She paid the cashier then grabbed her bag. Minka bumped the man behind her on the way out.

“I'm very sorry
. Today just isn’t my day,” she murmured not bothering to look up at the man.

Minka
returned back to the suite and let out a sigh of relief. Austin had left while she was out. Minka found a jewelry box and a note stating he would keep in touch. She opened the box and there was tennis bracelet with platinum letters hanging from it spelling Minka. She couldn’t say what she went through was worth it but it was a close second.

The rest of the day, Minka stayed in bed sleeping and catching up on her shows. She hadn’t been able to relax in a while and it felt good to finally not have to deal with anybody. She got out the bed, still sore from what Austin did earlier. She had come home and forgot about the plan b pills, she quickly took the pills and went to get dressed. She dressed in a white sheer blouse, a pair of cut up jeans and a pair of studded pumps. She felt casually dressed for her night. She had some friends in Miami and wanted to hang with them, she thought against it with the pain she was feeling tonight.

                                                                        ***

              Minka walked into
Prime 112
with no reservations and didn’t care. All she had to mention was George’s name and she could get a seat anywhere. She told the Hostess George’s name and was immediately seated by herself. She hadn’t eaten all day and her mouth was watering by looking at the menu.

“Welcome to
Prime 112
. May I get you something to drink?” The bubbly waiter asked.

“I’ll take a white wine
. I’m ready to order I’ll take a Kobe burger well done with a jumbo shrimp cocktail, please.” Minka closed the menu and handed back to the waiter.

The waiter scurried off to place her order while Minka looked around the restaurant. Men were there with their wives as well as some with children. A little girl blew spit bubbles at Minka. She smiled at the cute button nose girl. The waiter came back with Minka’s glass of wine and cocktail shrimp. She sipped her wine and ate her shrimp. She looked around the restaurant when she noticed a man kept staring at her. He was at a table of four with all guys, although his attention was on staring Minka’s way. The man was brown skin, with light brown eyes, dark Caesar with waves, and a nice set of dimples he exposed every time he smiled. He reminded Minka of the fine ass actor Omari Hardwick but stood heavier and taller; he was cute. She smiled and continued eating her food making sure not to look back at his table, she didn’t want to look like a lonely stalker, or did she need him coming to feel sorry for her. Her food finally came and she was ready to dig in.

Minka
was so engrossed in her meal, she didn’t realize the man from across the room had come and sat down at her table

Has you day gotten better?” he questioned smiling. Minka put her fork down and looked at the man like he was crazy.

“Excuse me?”

“You ran into me earlier and you told me you weren’t having a good day.” He chuckled.

Minka
racked her brain for their encounter, she remembered running into someone in CVS but she never looked up to see who they were nor did she care to.

“You were in CVS? Earlier?” She asked in between taking a bite from her burger
. She was hungry and she wasn’t going to stop eating because he sat down.

“That was me
,” he leered.

“I’m
sorry; I was having a rough day earlier.” She sighed, only if he knew what she went through he would understand, be a little freaked out and disgusted.

“I’m not tripping off of that
. I just didn’t get a chance to get your number because you left so fast.” He pulled his iPhone out.

“Is that so? What’s your name?”
Minka smiled at his brashness.

“Micah and yours?”

“Minka.” She smirked.

Minka
found it crazy how their names were both five letters and sounded the similar. If Edna was there, she would have called it fate. However, Minka wasn’t into all that. She just called it a coincidence.

Minka and Micah sat talking. She found out he was twenty four with no kids and didn’t plan on having any until he was married, and he also owned a studio in Los Angeles. Minka was interested in Micah and it worried her. She didn’t usually date big men, but Micah was making her change her preference. The way he came up to her spoke volumes to her. He was confident and she loved that. She ended up giving him her number as he said his good byes; his friends were leaving. When Minka tried to pay for her meal, she was informed the gentlemen that just left paid her bill. Minka smiled thinking about Micah. He was one of a kind.
