His thoughts were interrupted when Willow tossed back the shot. She was not acting like her reserved self right now, but she was drunk. He’d only ever seen her like this on a couple other occasions, and it always made her more outgoing, less hidden.

She leaned in close so only he could hear her say, “Case, I think maybe I had way too much to drink.” She leaned against him and he held her close, looking over her head at Devon. His mate looked worried.

“Let’s get you home, sweetheart.

“No, my parents will kill me. Can I stay at your place?” She pulled back. “My parents won’t care. They loved you too, and I know your parents are gone for the weekend.”

He smiled and pushed a stray piece of hair off her forehead. “Yeah, sweetheart. I wouldn’t want you to be alone anyway.”

He led them out of the party, Devon behind, his anger still tangible. Case wanted to comfort Devon, because even if he was enraged, someone wanted to take advantage of their Willow. Now was not the time.

Chapter Two

Willow was really drunk, like, the drunkest she’d probably ever been. It was stupid and irresponsible of her not to wait for Devon and Case, to just start drinking like a fish sucking in water. She’d gotten into trouble, allowed those lions to corner her and ply her with more booze. She’d felt good, free, and for a moment didn’t care who saw her let loose or what they thought. She felt like she was even drunker during the car ride, and now that she stood on her feet, Devon and Case leading her up the porch at her sides, she looked behind her and saw the cab they’d taken to be on the safe side driving away.

Case unlocked the door and pushed it open, helping her in as Devon turned on the living room light. They’d gone to Case’s place since his parents were gone for the weekend for some kind of romantic getaway. She normally would never stay the night at a guy’s house because her parents would flip their shit, even if she was eighteen, but Case and Devon were different.

Her parents didn’t see them as “guys,” but as her best friends. She stumbled inside and walked away from them, feeling lightheaded and a little nauseous.

“I’m glad I’m staying with you two tonight. My parents have been nagging each other for the last week,” she hiccupped.

Case chuckled, and Devon helped her into the house with a tighter hold.

“It isn’t like I care about what my parents fight about, because that’s not my business,” she heard her slurred words, and wondered if they could even understand her. “Anyway…”

“It’s okay, sweetheart. Don’t worry about all that right now.”

Willow walked over to the couch, falling haphazardly on the cushions and sighing in pleasure. The room still spun, and now that her eyes were closed it only intensified the sickening sensation. She tried to get comfortable, kicking off her shoes, and trying to move around on the couch. But she was sick, so drunk that she was a fool for allowing herself to get this trashed.

When she sat up, trying to take off the cardigan over her tank, one that felt way too snug, she kept her eyes closed and moaned out, “Help.” After a second she opened her eyes, seeing Devon and Case standing a few feet from them, sad and amused expressions on their faces.

“You two are my favorite people in the whole world,” she slurred out. “I love you both.” She closed her eyes again as the room spun something fierce. “Can you please help me? I need to get off this couch and get this damn thing off,” she tugged at her cardigan.

Case was the one that came up to her, wrapped his arms around her waist, and lifted her easily. Devon then came and smoothed a piece of hair away from her face. He took off the cardigan and tossed it aside.

“You’re drunk, Willow,” Devon said in that deep, husky voice of his.

“I am, and I feel like shit.”

Case started chucking. “You’ll feel worse in the morning.”

“I love you guys,” she said again and rested her head on Devon’s chest. “I don’t know what I’d do without you two in my life.”

“The same goes for us, sweetheart,” Case replied, and Devon breathed out, ruffling the strands of her hair. Devon started stroking her hair in soothing, even motions, pushing the strands off her shoulder, and she felt herself start to drift to sleep from the relaxation sensation.

“She’s fading, man. Let’s lay her down to sleep it off,” Case said.

“I’m good right here.”

Devon chuckled. “Lay down, baby.”

Maybe it was the fact she was drunk, but hearing that endearment didn’t even cause her to stir. She felt warmth, love from these men, and she wished things could have been different.

“I wish I could have been mated to you two.” She pulled back, slightly leaning to the side only to have Devon hold her up. Looking at his face, seeing the surprise on his expression, then turning and staring at Case. She blinked to steam off the double vision. “I really do. I think we’d make one incredible triad.”

Case swallowed, and she watched the way his throat worked. “Come on, sweetheart. Get some sleep.”

It sucked having two incredibly gorgeous and wonderfully loving men here with her, but not be able to do what she wanted with them. She stared at Case and Devon, saw they held the same strange look on their faces and wondered what they thought about.

They covered her with the blanket, and before she knew it the darkness surrounded her, and an alcohol-induced sleep claimed her.

Willow slowly opened her eyes, the heavy feeling on them intense. Pushing herself up, she rubbed her eyes, braced her hand on the arm of the couch, and breathed out. Her throat felt so dry, so parched and scratchy. The room was pitch black, and when she turned around the only light in the room was from the time displayed on the microwave in a luminescent blue color. She was hanging half off the couch and pulled herself to a standing position.

She rubbed her eyes again, looked around, and listened to hear if any of the guys were up. She didn’t know what had woken her up, but when her belly cramped she knew she was going to vomit. Making her way into the bathroom as quickly and quietly as she could, she shut the door softly, and proceeded to empty the contents of her stomach into the porcelain goddess.

She finished throwing up what she had in her belly, stood up and washed her mouth out. Grabbing the tube of toothpaste, she smeared a large helping of the minty paste on her finger and started to brush her teeth, knowing it was a little nasty, but not using any toothpaste was even nastier. She cleaned out her mouth, grabbed the mouthwash next, and once her breath and mouth felt clean and sanitized she headed back out of the bathroom and into the kitchen.

She glanced at the pictures on the wall, illuminated by the moonlight that came through the window. It showed the three of them when they were younger, even ones of them at her sixteenth birthday a couple years back. Pulling her phone out of her pocket, she breathed out when she saw a text conversation from her and her mother. At least she’d been coherent enough to say she was staying here since it was late, and even more relieved when her mother had told her to be safe and call in the morning.

Putting her cell back in her pocket she went into the kitchen and poured herself a big glass of water. She drank half of it in one gulp. When she took the three ibuprofens that she found in a small bottle in the cabinet and washed those down with the rest of the water, she rested her hand on the counter.

Closing her eyes and just standing there for a moment, she felt marginally better from the water. Opening her eyes, she was about to head back to the couch but stopped when she heard deep moaning. Looking to her left and listening again, thinking she might have just been hearing things, she breathed out when silence greeted her. Willow was still drunk, so her mind was probably playing tricks on her.

She went back to the couch, rubbed the foot that felt like she’d been doing a jig on it all night, and closed her eyes as she leaned back on the couch cushions. She snapped them back open again when she heard the deep male moans again.

Could they be doing what she thought they were doing? The moans didn’t sound like they were from pain, but intense pleasure. If they were doing what she thought they were doing it was taboo, and wrong in their pride to be with the same sex. It was so close-minded, so disgusting to her that her kind was so discriminatory toward something that came natural to others.

These were her best friends, and she knew she shouldn’t even be having this kind of reaction towards them. But she couldn’t help it, not with the deep, clearly erotic and pleasure-filled moans coming from them. Could they have brought women home? Sure, they could have.

She’d been drunk enough to pass out. But a part of her knew that there were no females here, and that the sounds coming from them were because they were…
together
. It was the middle of the night, and her arousal was a constant burn inside of her as the seconds ticked by. As the moans continued she felt herself start to get even more aroused at the sight and sound of what was going on in front of her. A part of her said to be ashamed by her desires, that these were her best friends. But she couldn’t help the lust that pounded in her.

Willow rolled over and covered her head with one of the decorative pillows. The fringe at the end covered her eyes, but no amount of fabric or cotton could drown out the moans she still heard. She gave up trying to cloak the noise out, sat up, and looked towards the door where the sound was coming from.

Willow played with the beadwork on the pillow as she stared into the darkness, her lioness eyesight giving her a perfect view of everything happening, as if the sun shone through instead of the moon. And then she found herself standing, walking over to the hallway, and bracing a hand on the wall. The door was so close that if she just reached out she could have twisted the doorknob and pushed it open.

Willow found herself doing just that, as if she didn’t have control over what was happening or of her actions. The door opened soundlessly, but she didn’t push it open all the way, just enough to see the bed in the center of the room, and the erotic scene before her. She felt her mouth part, her blood rush, and her body heat at the image right in front of her.

Dual-lighting from the moon and the streetlight came through the window. The smell of sweat and sex filled the room, covered her body in this thick, heavy sensation of pleasure, and her heart beat faster. Devon and Case were both on the bed together, the sheets on the floor, and their naked bodies on full display. They were kissing, pressing their hard, sweaty bodies together, and running their hands over each other.

Oh God, she was a voyeur intruding on this moment they shared. They were so in the moment that they clearly didn’t sense her standing here, hear her heart beating, or smell the sweat that started to cover her flesh.

Willow had never seen them naked, not even by accident, in all the years they’d known each other. Scantily dressed in trunks and nothing else, yes, she’d seen that plenty of times when they swam, but this… this was something totally different, and enough to give her an aneurism. The scent of their passion for each other, of their pleasure, made her drunk from it all.

She could see every muscle and bulge that flexed under their skin and grew wetter. Devon’s hand disappeared between their bodies and whatever he did made Case growl deeply, had his lion flashing to the surface. When Case pushed Devon onto his back, never breaking their kiss, it had her gasping in wonder and arousal. Devon’s cock was huge, long and thick, and when she looked at Case and saw his dick just as huge, her throat tightened.

There was a pearl-sized drop of pre-cum seeping out of the slit at the tip of Case’s dick. She felt heat move through her even harder, felt her pussy grow wetter, her clit throb, and her mouth water to taste these males. Devon started pumping his fist over Case’s shaft, their mouths still fused and their tongues twirling together.

Her pussy tingled and her nipples grew hard. She knew this was an invasion of their privacy, but she couldn’t move, couldn’t bring herself to turn away and shut the door. It was mesmerizing watching them find pleasure with each other, and her inner animal woke, paced beneath her flesh, and demanded to share in the pleasure, too.

They broke the kiss and panted heavily as Case moved off the bed and stood by the edge. Willow didn’t know what they were doing but continued to watch while her mouth went dry. She wondered what it would feel like to have both of those huge cocks stuffed inside her at once, the three of them that perfect triad she’d always envisioned.

Case got on his knees, grabbed hold of Devon’s erection, and stated stroking it up and down. Devon was on the edge of the mattress, his legs dangling off the edge, and his feet touching the ground. Case’s tongue peeked out and he ran the muscle over the glistening head of Devon’s dick. She was stunned, frozen to the spot as she watched this erotic act. He paid close attention to the slit at the tip, licking, sucking at it until Devon groaned and fisted his hand into the sheets.

“Mate, you’re hungry tonight,” Devon said, and Willow’s heart raced at those words.

Mate? They were mates?

The moonlight shone right on them, illuminating the act and letting her see exactly how filthy they were being. Willow was a good girl, had always been, but what she’d never told anyone, not even Devon or Case, was that she’d had sex before. She’d been with one guy last year. She’d gone to a cabin in Utah with her parents for vacation, and there she’d met a wolf-shifter.

He’d been sweet and kind, and told her everything that Willow wanted to hear. But after they’d had sex the world just disappeared, left with his family to go back to where he’d come from without even telling her his last name or that he was leaving. She’d been humiliated, felt disgusted that she’d allowed herself to give away her virginity like that. She’d never thought about saving it, not even for her mate, because the hard reality was she might never even find her mate. Hell, she may have even met him already, but because her mating instinct hadn’t kicked in yet, telling her and her animal that her mate was there, only hers, she wouldn’t have seen him as anything more than a guy walking by. It was a twist on the mating game, a cruel realization that sucked, but was reality.
