"I got rid of them." Jace shrugged.

"You didn't." I gasped.

"I did." He nodded. His voice turned quiet. "I didn't think you were coming back."

From the corner of my eye, I saw Gail stare at Jace as though shocked by his words and tone. Who did she know the man I loved to be? He had so many faces - so many sides. It was a wonder my senses weren't ruined, because since meeting Jace they had been on constant overdrive.

"Well," I sighed. "I guess I'll have to wear your shirt then."

Abhorrence flashed in his eyes and his jaw locked. "You're not walking out the door with no clothes on, Olivia."

"You're telling me what to do?" I asked pointedly.

He glared. "You want to have this discussion here?"

I knew he was talking about my agreement to being his submissive. And damn it, of course I didn't want to have this conversation in front of Gail. But I had to play it right and I wouldn't be blackmailed. "If you want to, then by all means."

A vein in his neck bulged and I knew I'd won this round. Jace wasn't about to divulge the terms of our relationship to his housekeeper. "Don't argue with me, Olivia."

"Don't argue with me, Jace." I replied. I noticed Gail watching us with interest as she mixed the pancake batter.

"You're not leaving. If I have to tie you to my bed, I will." His threat was nothing to take lightly. I was playing with fire and I knew it.

"I have responsibilities, Jace." I tried another rout. "I have to work. The café just opened and it already looks bad that I'm not there. I can't ditch out on the whole day."

"Why not?" Jace asked.

I frowned. Was he serious? No, he couldn't be. "Because I need to make a living."

"I have plenty of money." I saw Gail raise her brows and I bristled. Great now she's going to think I want him for his bank account. That's just what I need.

I drew in a long even breath. "All right - I
want
to work. I
want
to be at the café."

"Olivia,"

"Jace, you're pissing me off." I said bluntly. "I'm going whether you like it or not."

He ground his teeth and fisted his hands. "I'm driving you."

I nodded. I figured I would relent on the details that didn't really matter all that much rather than fighting and losing. "That's fair. We'll need to stop at my house for clothes first."

"I still have your clothes here." He stated, looking forward.

My jaw dropped. All that for nothing? My voice was shaky. "Are you serious?"

"Very." Jace said. His tone was bored and I visibly prickled.

"I'm going to shower and get dressed." I stated as I stood.

"Breakfast will be ready soon." Jace replied.

"I already said I wasn't hungry."

"Olivia," he warned.

"Jace," I warned back at him.

Gail huffed. "That's about enough you two." She pointed at me. "You're eating because your just too damned thin and as for you Jace," she pointed her finger at him and his eyes widened. "Stop harassing the girl. She's got a life outside of you."

I felt my eyes grow wide as I waited for his wrath to crawl out of its cave. But to my surprise, Jace didn't say anything at all. He nodded before shooting me a glare over his shoulder. I felt like a small child being scolded. A blush tainted my cheeks and I sat back on the island stool beside Jace. I avoided his sharp blue eyes as I watched Gail work at the stove. I could feel their heat on me and I knew I would be in trouble later. Oh well.

"Do you want the whole works?" Gail asked.

"Yes," Jace said.

I narrowed my eyes. "What's the works?"

"Whip cream, berries, syrup?" Gail's eyes twinkled.

"Sounds good to me." I grinned at her. It was a heart attack on a plate, but hey, I was too skinny anyway.

"Good." She nodded and went back to flipping the hot cakes.

I watched as Gail decorated the pancakes before sliding the plates across the granite. Jace grinned at his dish and my heart leapt in my chest. Sometimes, he looked like a child, while other times he looked so damned haunted. I liked this side of Jace, the side where easy smiles and childish breakfasts lived. It was enlightening.

With a deep breath, I dug into my pancakes. When I'd made it through half the food on my plate, I sighed. "I can't finish this." I blushed. "I'm so full it hurts."

Gail tisked. "You're too skinny."

"I'll work on my appetite." I promised as I stood.

"Where are you going?" Jace asked as he finished his last bite.

"I'm getting ready for work."

"Oh really?"

I narrowed my eyes. "Yes. Really."

He nodded and I turned my attention to Gail. "Thank you very much for breakfast. It was delicious."

"You're very welcome." Gail smiled.

I shot a warning glare at Jace before walking in the direction of the stairs. Before I knew it, there was a warm hand on the small of my back. He whispered in my ear. "Don't you think you deserve punishment for that little scene you pulled?"

"No."

"I'd run if I were you, Olivia." Jace's tone was thick with warning and my skin littered with goosebumps. I didn't think twice about what I did next, with a loud squeal, I bolted for the stairs. My heart hammered in my chest as I took the steps two at a time. I could hear Jace behind me and I was certain Gail's laughter flooded the kitchen but I was too concentrated on getting to the spare bedroom where I would find clothing to wear and locking the door. I just needed time!

I got to the top of the steps and chanced a quick look over my shoulder. Jace's face was murderous. He was three quarters of the way up the steps. On another scream, I darted for the spare bedroom. Jace's footsteps pounded behind me. I threw my hand out and twisted the knob of the spare bedroom before shooting inside the room and slamming the door behind me.

Jace held the doorknob and I found myself unable to twist the lock. "Olivia, open the door."

"No!" My heart was beating against its cage as I fought to catch my breath. "Go away!"

"I'm serious, Olivia." Jace growled. "Open the door."

He sounded mad. But the damned brute had told me to run. What did he think I would do? Walk? "I'm serious, Jace." I argued. "Go away."

"I will count to three and then I'm forcing the door open whether you're in the way or not." He stated. "One," My eyes widened and I looked wildly around the room. "Two," My eyes caught sight of the bathroom. If only I could get there before he caught me. "Three." I bolted for the bathroom as the door shot open, banging loudly against the wall. I was halfway across the room when I felt strong arms wrap around my waist.

"Jace," I wailed. "Put me down!"

"Quiet." He barked as he walked back to the door. He kicked it closed before walking to the bed. One minute I was in his arms, the next I as in the air. My butt hit the bed first and I grappled for the edge, trying to get away from him. His hand caught my ankle and he pulled me back down the bed, flipping me over onto my back. He caught my chin in his hands and stared at me. I was so nervous, I giggled.

A frown pulled at his angry features. "Don't laugh and never lock yourself away from me."

"You told me to run." I protested on a shaky breath.

"I love the chase, Olivia." He stated. "If you run, I will always follow. But if you put something between us, I will break it down. Do you understand?"

I nodded. His hand moved from my ankle to the top of his shirt. With one easy flick of his wrists, he tore the shirt open, popping the buttons from the strings holding them to the shirt.

"Jace," I gasped.

"Don't challenge me." He warned. "I'm already mad at you."

"What?" I felt as though I'd been backhanded. "You're serious?"

"Very."

I placed both hands on his naked chest and shoved him away from me. Fire lit his eyes and I cringed as his hands wrapped around my waist. He carried me into the bathroom and set me down in front of a full-length mirror.

"You pushed me away from you, Olivia." Jace said stiffly.

"You were being an ass."

"You obviously need a reminder that you're mine. You submit to me." He stated gruffly. His hand moved over my naked chest, plumping my already swollen breasts. Expert fingers kneaded my nipples, pebbling them. I tried to keep the want from my body. I tried to keep the desire from igniting my eyes. I failed.

"Do you see how responsive you are to me?" Jace asked. His eyes watched mine in the mirror. "Do you see how your body begs for me? For my touch?" I didn't reply. Jace moved a hand lower to the V between my legs. His fingers slid easily between the folds and he massaged. I gritted my teeth and he pulled his fingers away. "Look at my fingers." I did. "Do you see this? This is your want for me. You need me, Olivia. You're mine and only mine."

I still didn't speak. "Say it, Olivia."

I looked into his eyes in the mirror. "I'm yours."

"I'm going to fuck you now. And, you're going to watch because you obviously need this reminder." His voice was stern, his touch determined. "Bend over. Hands on the mirror."

I did as he said. Eagerly. There was no hiding my want from him. He knew.

Jace unleashed his cock from the waistband of his pants. I noticed how he didn't remove them, but I didn't enquire. His hand grasped my hip as his other guided his tip to my opening.

"Is this a punishment fuck?" I asked into the mirror.

"No, Olivia. It's a fuck to show you who you belong to." He nodded to the mirror. "Watch. Don't take your eyes off the mirror. See your body the way I see it."

I hated that idea, but I trained my eyes on the mirror regardless. Jace pushed slowly inside me, stretching to the hilt. His hands on my hips tightened when he was fully inside me. "See how I fit inside you? This is where I am meant to be."

In this, I agreed. "Yes, Jace."

At my words, he pulled out before filling me with agonizing slowness again. My skin warmed and a blush of desire flooded my cheeks. My eyes were hooded, my lips moist and red from my teeth's assault. My breaths were coming out shallow as he stroked my most precious place with the length of him. My breathing, ragged and needy filled the room. Jace lifted a hand from my hip to pull my hair back away from my face.

"Look at yourself, Angel. See what I do to you."

I looked. And, I saw. My breasts were swollen, my nipples hard and aching to be touched. My hips rocked with Jace's every tantalizing thrust. The skin of my inner thigh glistened in the warm, golden light of the bathroom with my juices.

The sight warranted a moan.

Jace grinned knowingly and his tempo changed from gently and teasing to hard and demanding. His soft strokes turned hard and frantic. His hips pumped against mine, rocking me forward before pulling me back. I kept pace, unwilling to fall behind. My hands on the mirror slid and I struggled to maintain position as he pounded into me, hitting me deep and hard. The sound of his skin hitting mine only added to my arousal.

"Look at yourself," Jace reminded forcefully and I threw my eyes back to the mirror.

With each relentless thrust, my breasts bounced. I moaned again at the sight and I wanted for the first time to make a video of us. I wanted to watch Jace claiming me completely. There was no sight more erotic.

Jace lifted a hand from my hip to wrap around the small of my waist. He pulled me away from the mirror and my crouched position, pressing my back into his chest. His thrusts didn't halt, but continued. I stared at us. My breasts slapped against his arm every time he pulled out of me to slam back in. His free hand moved south and he slid his fingers between my folds, locating my clit with ease. He stroked the nerve with moist fingers and I moaned. I opened my legs slightly for easier access and Jace grinned shamelessly. "See how I know what you need?"

"Yes,"

"Don't ever lock yourself away from me again."

"I won't." I promised. Oh hell, I definitely will if this is what I get out of it!

Look into the mirror. I want you to watch me make you come undone."

I did. I watched as he pumped himself into me. My skin glistened with sweat and my knees shook. "Now, Olivia."

I came around him shattering and shaking, completely submitting to his command at the same time he pumped hot liquid deep inside me. A cry of pleasure-coated-delirium fell from my lips and I crumpled back into him. My knees weakened and he took us down to the floor, pulling out of me in our descent.

"Now you see, Angel?"

I nodded, laying my heated skin against the cool granite floor. "I see."

Jace leaned over me. His penis was still hard and hanging out of his pants. The length glistened with my juices and at the sight, my stomach clenched with need. Jace raised a brow and cocked a grin.

"More, Angel?" he asked and I nodded. "Already?"

Without entertaining his question with a reply, I pulled his neck down and claimed his lips. "I want you inside me."

"As you wish." Jace said. And in no time at all, I was filled with him again.

Chapter 8

Olivia lowered herself into the passenger seat of the Bugatti and I closed the door. I jogged around the front of the car and slid in beside her. She folded her hands in her lap and toyed nervously with her fingers.

"What's on your mind?"

Her eyes widened. "Nothing."

"You're lying." I stated as I pulled onto the busy street, flooring the gas pedal as I weaved between two cars. "You forget I can tell."

She nodded, but didn't say anything more. We drove in silence for a while and I thought about threatening to punish her, but the way she worried her bottom lip had my stomach rolling with nerves. What the hell was she thinking?

"I can't stay the night tonight." She blurted into the silence and I breathed a breath of relief. I'd expected something a hell of a lot worse. But that didn't mean I wasn't going to fight this.

"Why not?"

"Because I don't know what to say to Trisha." She said quietly.

"Why do you need to say anything at all to her?" This intrigued me. It wasn't what I'd been expecting.

"Well, because she's my roommate and it's the respectful thing to do. I know she will ask questions if I'm practically living with you."
