Then Cal turned to Conrad, "I'm just joking around man. I'm happy for you Renner." Cal said to Conrad. "Really." He
extended his hand, and Conrad took it. "No hard feelings man."

Conrad just smiled shaking Cal‘s hand. "Where are the potheads anyway?"

"Oh, I have them filling sandbags out back. They fill them on one side of the sand pit, and empty them in the other, then fill them back again and empty them back on the other side of the pit. I saw your vehicle and wanted to see if Addie made it in okay. But don't worry, Nathan and I got you covered."  Cal said.

"Good. I'll square away that little shit when I get back off leave. Let him think he's gotten away with just an article fifteen. I'll fix that dope head." Conrad said walking past Cal and around the corner. "I'm tired and if I spend any more time here, I'll go crazy and kick someone’s ass just for fun." Conrad slapped Nathan on the back as he left to go back home.

"Go get some sleep. Don't forget six o'clock." Cal said. Conrad gave the thumbs up as he walked out the door to his SUV. He passed a few soldiers from his platoon that were forming a line now for the urinalysis. The soldiers in the doorway immediately moving out of his way mumbling a good morning.

The city of Vicenza was starting to awaken at the young morning hour of seven forty-five. He encountered no traffic making the quick trip back to his apartment in mere minutes. Conrad could only think of Addie on his way home. Knowing that she was in his bed, he pushed the gas a little more to get home faster. He pulled his Jeep in his parking spot and made his way upstairs two steps at a time to his apartment. He locked the door behind him and padded quietly to the bedroom. He entered and saw that Addie hadn't moved, still holding his pillow. He pushed his shoes off and threw his clothes in the chair in the corner and slid into bed. He could smell their sex as he moved the covers and pulled them over his now naked body. He pulled Addie into his embrace, molding his body around hers like it was before he had to go in to work, and slipped quickly into a deep satisfied sleep.

Addie slowly awoke to the smell of grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. She rolled over to find the bed empty and felt the soreness in her body. A pleasant soreness. She stretched her legs one at a time and smiled when she thought of her co-workers back at Fort Bragg teasing her that she may feel like she was riding horses. So this is what it felt like. She had only ever felt like this with Conrad. His body was broad, and how she had straddled him last night still made her wonder how her small frame could even do that. He’d worked out so much that he’d gotten bigger in the past year since she’d seen him.

She wondered about several of the things they had done, and how her body had accommodated him. She thought again about the things that she really wanted to do again and again. Things that she somehow only wanted to do with Conrad. She tested her arms first, feeling like they were just sore like she had worked out at the gym. No worry there she said to herself. She tested her legs next, moving them a little under the covers. Eh, no problem, a little sore, but workable. Her body felt like it was sexed up hard, but she wasn’t going to complain. She went to peel back the covers to jump into the shower and shifted to scoot off the bed when it suddenly felt like her pubic bone was bruised by a two by four. She fell back onto the bed the exact moment Conrad came through the bedroom door with a plate in one hand and a Coke in the other. Her legs were halfway off the bed.

"Good morning sugar tits." He said with a huge smile on his face, dressed in jeans and a tight fitted t-shirt that showed off his broad muscular chest and his large arms. “Were you getting ready to get up? “ He put the plate and Coke on the bedside table. He went to lean down and Addie quickly clamped a hand over her mouth.

"What? Now I have cooties? You didn't think so last night." He added with a smile kissing her forehead.

“I have morning breath." Addie mumbled from behind her hand. “And yes, I was going to get a shower.” She scooted back onto the bed thinking how good that hot water is going to feel But when she moved quickly, she groaned, “Uhn.”

Conrad laughed. "After you eat then. A little sore are we? I made grilled ham and cheese. I wanted to take you to the commissary, because I wasn't sure what you wanted to eat." He sat down on the edge of the bed and handed her the plate.

She tucked the sheet under her arms and took the plate and started to devour the sandwich, realizing that the last time she had anything to eat was when they went out after she got in at like six the day before. She glanced at the clock on his bedside table and it was already eleven.

"Yes.” She blushed, answering his question, trying to make it sound like it was normal. When he smiled brightly at her, she continued. “What do you feel like getting into today?" Addie asked him when she finished her sandwich and sipped from her Coke.

Conrad chuckled as he took the plate, putting it on the bedside table and leaned over Addie kissing her naked shoulder and up the side of her neck and nibbled at her ear. "I'd like to get back into you again” He whispered in her ear. “I want to do a few more things we’d talked about. After last night, I want more. That was an appetizer, I want to taste you again."

He pulled back a little looking at her face. Her eyes were closed, her mouth was slightly open, her head tilted to the side and she held her soda can with a death grip trying not to spill it as he teased her with his tongue, licking on her earlobe and neck. His hand covered hers over the soda can and he dropped sweet kisses on her face like little feathers. Addie could tell that Conrad meant business. He took the soda from her and moved back long enough to put it on the bedside table.

Pushing Addie back against the pillows lightly with one hand, as he took her mouth hungrily at first, his tongue sliding along her lips, to taste her and tease her.

“Open for me Addie, let me in.” He breathed heavily, his other hand lightly brushing her hair behind her shoulder. “Let me in like you did last night. Let me explore you more.”

She opened and his tongue delved deeply into her mouth, claiming hers and her hands reached up and twisted in his hair. She moaned lightly as he started to peal the covers down from her chest and took a naked pink nipple of her firm breast in his mouth sucking it like he was tasting the sweetness of it like it was the first time. He moved to the other nipple and Addie arched her back into the pillows even more, as her hands gripped his hair tighter. She moaned lightly when his hand came up to gently massage her other breast. Conrad kissed his way from her right breast to the cleft between them and his tongue left a wet trail back up to her mouth. Then he sweetly, gently, kissed her.

Addie’s mind was ablaze with only Conrad. She wanted him like any wanton woman would, but as her blood started flowing, the sensation of a two by four hitting her pubic bone came back and it felt, this time, pleasantly uncomfortable so long as she didn‘t move. Only, she wasn't moving. Conrad was grinding into her in small circles. She was so lost in his kisses that she didn't realize that he had shifted from the side of the bed, to on top of her, between her legs. Holy shit he felt good. She wasn’t sure if she could endure him again this soon though, but she certainly wanted to. He’d been so forceful last night at times. He made sure that Addie enjoyed herself, and he showered her body with affection of every kind, but still, the heated union was almost more than her body could handle. Almost. It seemed at times he was marking her for his own. But Addie knew deep down he wasn't the kind of guy who would commit no matter how much time she gave him.

But for now...this moment...these ten days, she'd take what he would give her.

RING.

Conrad’s phone started ringing from in the living room. Addie smiled silently in her mind as Conrad seemed intent on ignoring his phone. But as one set of rings would stop, it would start all over again. Conrad breathed deeply, pulling away from Addie. “Damn it.” He growled.

“It’s okay. I need to shower and brush my teeth anyway.” Addie said smiling up at him.

Chapter Thirty-Two

Conrad shoved off the bed angrily and stalked out to the living room to answer the phone. “What!” He shouted.

Addie didn’t want to know who was on the other end of the phone. She was just happy it wasn’t her. Ignoring her body, she padded off to the shower naked. She figured that she was in the shower for a good twenty minutes when she came out wrapped in a towel, her hair twisted up and clipped as she heard Conrad trying to convince someone that he couldn’t make it out to wherever they were because he was busy. It wasn’t the pleasant Conrad that was on the phone last night, this was a very annoyed Conrad.

She smiled to herself, and opened the drawer pulling out her khaki skirt and a dark blue v-neck t-shirt. She went in search of her bra and found it tossed near the doorway to the living room. She went to grab it when she saw Conrad watching her with a blank look on his face, still on the phone. She smiled at him and took her clothes to the bathroom. She had noticed the little finger bruises in the mirror from his hands on her hips and ass. She couldn’t help but smile, touching each one, splaying her hands against them, imitating the way he had held her to him when she was on top last night. Her stomach sunk in and she could almost feel him inside of her all over again. She shivered, spritzed some perfume on, dressed, brushed her teeth and put a little makeup on to make herself presentable. She walked out to the bedroom and started making the bed.

She didn’t hear Conrad talking anymore, so she assumed he had gotten off the phone. Walking out into the living room he wasn’t there. She looked in the kitchen and he wasn’t there either. Addie walked to the windows in the living room and saw that Conrad was out on the sidewalk in what appeared to be a very animated conversation. She shrugged it off and went to grab the plate and soda from the bedroom.

She put the plate from her sandwich in the sink with the pan that Conrad had cooked in, cleaned and dried them, then decided to open the door to the balcony in the kitchen and looked out into a rather impressively large courtyard that was open to the street on the other side. This was the view she couldn’t make out last night as she was looking out the window. Other doors were open and she could hear a radio, and a TV she supposed. But the smells that were wafting up to her nostrils made her stomach growl even though she had just eaten.

Pulling one of the little chairs out from the table, she sat out on the porch drinking the rest of her soda soaking in the afternoon sun, smelling the food, taking in what every day Italy was like in this little part of Vicenza that over looked most of the city. She looked over the tile roofs and saw the basilica. It was so pretty. Addie was so wrapped up in her surroundings, she didn’t notice Conrad come in and was leaning up against the counter in the kitchen.

“Ad..?” The look on Conrad’s face was changing from annoyance back to desire. As Addie turned around in the chair she looked down at the bulge in his pants.

“One more time before we go out about the town?” Addie interrupted smiling and wiggling her eyebrows as she got up and put her soda on the counter and slid her arms around his waist and snuggled up against him, pressing her cheek to his chest. Conrad's arms came around her and they stayed this way for a few minutes, rubbing her back.

“Oh hell woman! What are you doing to me?” Conrad stated, rather than asking the question.

“Let's ah, let's get going to the commissary so we can get you some food to eat, unless you plan on eating a lot of grilled ham and cheese.”

Part of the afternoon was spent on post shopping for food. But before they had went to the commissary Conrad had taken her to the PX to look around. Later with shopping bags they trudged up the three flights of stairs to put the groceries away and then set out on foot to discover parts of the Vicenza. Addie had taken her camera and was seeing the beautiful old city through her lens taking shots of everything from the old architecture to the statues of the buildings and fountains and people.

About five o’clock Conrad said it was time that they should head back to get ready for dinner. Grabbing a gelato they made their way back to Conrad’s apartment and got ready for the evening. Not knowing really where they were going, Addie dressed in a skirt and cowl neck top that enticed the view of her boobs and her black flats. Conrad had decided on a pair of dark blue jeans and a dark purple button-down with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms. Conrad had phoned Nathan to find out where they were meeting for dinner. Taking Addie’s hand Conrad locked the apartment and they made their way down to his SUV.
