Devon turned her onto her stomach, pulling her up to the headboard. He tied her hands to it and shoved a big pillow under her belly. Jeff pushed a hand under her to tweak her nipples.

“Should have clamped these, Devon,” he said. “I’ll be right back.”

“Bring the butterfly and maybe the new gel dildo with you. There’s a plug in the table here.”

“C’mon, guys,” she begged. “Enough already.”

Devon slapped her buttocks then rubbed the sting away. Warmth drifted between her legs, and Alex hoped harder. He kept slapping her, almost idly, smoothing the place his hand had fallen, until Jeff returned. Jeff turned her up on one side, sucked a nipple into his mouth then clamped it, hardly allowing her to adjust before clamping the other. Alex panted through the bite of pleasure, and the rub of her sensitive nipples now pushed against the soft cotton of the sheets as she was pressed back on her stomach.

She felt someone lubing her back hole and then a slender object breached her. One of them stroked her back, calming and settling her.

“A big breath now, Alex,” Devon told her.

She opened her mouth to ask just as an impossibly wide rubber object was shoved into her wet vagina. Oh, so full, so stuffed, her bottom hot, her openings stretched, nipples tingling. If only someone would rub her clit, she’d go off like a rocket. And still she waited.

The vibe in her bottom started to vibrate, just a low hum, but it awoke all those nerve endings she had discovered over the months of play, and Alex moaned. The dildo was swirled, the tiny teeth catching on her walls and teasing her G-spot. The base of the vibe was tapped deeper into her, and then the dildo started to vibrate. Nothing was in the same cadence, and Alex couldn’t adjust. She whimpered and panted and strained to let go, but with the clip on her clit she felt restricted. She begged and pleaded to no avail.

They were enjoying watching her suffer, those jerks. She tried to think of ways to pay them back, only to have her thoughts interrupted by an increase in the vibration at her backside, punctuated by slaps to her cheeks and the tender crease at her thighs.

Alex screamed at them to do something, anything, to make her come and take away the torment, trying to rub her distended clitoris on the sheet, but was thwarted by the lift the pillow created. She hung suspended for what felt like hours, and then everything stopped. The toys were pulled out, and she was flipped over onto her back, legs spread wide, hands still tied above her head. She saw spots behind her eyes and opened them to glare at Devon and Jeff, who sprawled on either side of her, watching with hooded eyes and evil intent.

“Learned anything, Alex?” asked Devon as he teasingly stroked around her clit.

“Okay, I promise,” she choked out.

“Spell it out, darlin’, or I’ll have to go look for that butterfly Devon wanted,” advised Jeff.

“No! Please! I promise not to drive that road at night anymore. I won’t change a tire alone. And I’ll keep my cell charged, I swear. I won’t worry you again,” Alex babbled.

Devon’s hand came down across her pussy, striking her clit with a wet, smacking sound. Alex shrieked and flinched back, only to arch up into the next blow. He struck her to cover her labia fully, but the focus was on her clit, unprotected and displayed as it was. She came on chaotic sensation and sound, and Jeff sprang the nipple clamps free, prolonging the pleasant agony of her climax, then added to the sensation by releasing the clit clamp. Alex had no breath to scream and gasped for air as Devon freed her hands.

The lights went off and a hand pulled the covers up as her men settled on either side of her.

“Night, sweetheart.”

Chapter Twelve

A month before her world came crashing down, Devon and Jeff took her out for dinner and proposed. Not real marriage, but a lifelong commitment. They had small charms made for her to attach to her white gold chain. Two oval pendants held their birthstone, an amethyst for Jeff and a peridot for Devon. A round pendant featured a diamond, for her. They fit into the hollow of her throat when attached to the chain, and it was clear that they were claiming her, one on either side of the diamond. Alex felt complete and rejoiced. She fingered the charms constantly, especially when she was anxious or thinking hard. They soothed her like nothing had ever done in her life.

Then one Tuesday afternoon trouble came knocking at the door.

“Come in, Melissa,” invited Alex. “I’ve just made some iced tea and planned to sit out back while I take a break from work.”

“Thanks, sweetie, that sounds wonderful what with this heat.”

Melissa waited for Alex to pour the drinks then followed her out to the deck, each choosing a lounge chair set back in the shade of the house. The insects droned and the birds made sounds muted by the heat.

“That’s right. You’re working from home, Alex,” Melissa said. “I’d forgotten about that. I don’t envy you, though, sweetie. Stephan wants me at home and available at any time for anything and I consider that my career!”

Alex caught a nasty undertone in Melissa’s voice, belied by her words. “I love my work, and always find time for the guys, of course. I had that rotten flu, am just getting over it actually, so I’m a bit behind across the board.”

“Well, actually, that’s why I came by today…” Melissa tailed off and avoided looking at Alex. “I heard you were under the weather.”

This wasn’t about flu, Alex was certain. Fighting a little tremor, she said nothing and waited, unconsciously reaching up to touch the charms at her throat. After a time, Melissa rattled the ice in her glass and sighed. She still didn’t look at Alex, but took a deep breath and continued.

“Stephan and I ran into your guys at JOY, Alex.”

Alex smiled. They were always picking up perverted little gifts for her. Flowers and candy seemed passé when it came to Devon and Jeff, and JOY was their favorite store for things like nipple and labia clamps, vibrators, sexy underwear, and the like. But what was Melissa finding it so difficult to talk about?

“Everyone knows how much you care about Devon and Jeff, Alex, and I had to tell you what I overheard.” Melissa appeared to have to force the words out.

Old insecurities raised their evil heads, but Alex fought them down. She and Devon and Jeff talked about things. She was never insecure with them. Melissa couldn’t have heard anything that she wasn’t aware of, but Alex couldn’t bring herself to ask.

“I guess I’ll just spit it out. I hope I’m doing the right thing, but I’d want someone to tell me if it were Stephan’s needs not being met.”

Alex felt like someone had punched her in the gut. It wasn’t possible. Why was Melissa here? She had only a passing acquaintance with the woman from the occasional meeting at the Club.

“I guess you’d better do the right thing then, Melissa,” she said, calmly and with no indication that her heart was pounding and her gut churning. The charms were her talisman as she stroked each memorized, beloved shape.

“You never attend the Club, well, at least not the scenes anyway. You go for dinner and I see you in the lounge, but you don’t go into the Club proper,” stated Melissa.

“I’ve gone in the backrooms, once, Melissa, but choose not to.”

“Okay, but, well, Devon and Jeff used to go all the time. They did scenes together and separately with their subs. They trained women regularly or played,” said Melissa in a rush.

“I know about their past, Melissa. They told me.” Alex continued responding in the same calm manner, holding hard against some unknown terror nibbling at her gut. “So I don’t understand what you are getting at.”

Melissa nearly snapped her response. “Then I’ll just say it, Alex. I came here to be a friend, but you aren’t very receptive.”

Melissa clearly tried to collect herself, and her eyes filled with tears, disarming Alex more than any pretence of friendship had.

“Jeff and Devon want you to do scenes, but you don’t want to and they don’t want to insist.”

Alex shook her head. “No, Melissa, you didn’t hear them correctly. Our relationship doesn’t have room for scenes. I don’t judge others for what they do, but scenes don’t work for me, and Jeff and Devon accept that. They accept that I won’t perform at the Club.”

“You don’t understand, Alex. It’s part of the culture and protocol. You can look it up if you don’t believe me. I’m telling you that Jeff and Devon are not being fulfilled because you won’t play at the Club. They want to share you with another Dom, an experienced one. It’s a matter of both pride and need for them. Being able to give their woman to another man because they can and the satisfaction that gives them. Why do you think they were talking to Stephan?”

Alex still could not believe what Melissa was saying despite the pleading in her tone and the obvious passion in the other woman’s statements. What she and her men shared was private. She was not an exhibitionist, and they were okay with that. They told her she was not like their other women and explained how possessive they were with her. It had only been six months, so how could they be tired of what they had already? They were still learning about one another and playing together. She shook her head.

“I’ll talk with them tonight, Melissa, but I’m sure you misheard.”

Melissa dropped her head for a moment. “Leave me out of it if you can, Alex. Stephan won’t like it, that I gave you a heads-up and spoke out of my place.”

Alex didn’t understand that logic and didn’t like to keep secrets from Devon and Jeff, but assured Melissa that she would raise the topic without involving her or Stephan. In fact, it would be easy. All she had to do was ask them if they were fulfilled by the relationship. They would probably get cross and demanding, but that always turned out to be fun in the end as they reassured her in creative, sexy ways.

Alex didn’t get her chance. Devon and Jeff came home in matching foul moods. The bag from JOY was set on the counter, and they both brushed a kiss across her mouth before heading off to shower. That was strange. It was really her first day up and around in days, now able to make dinner for them and hopefully make love later. She wasn’t yet up to any really demanding sex, but craved their touch and the release it brought.

They had actually slept away from her in the guest rooms for the previous nights at her insistence because of the nature of the influenza. She really didn’t want them to catch it, and not only because she knew how impossible they would be as patients, but because her sleep was broken with sweats and coughing, and she was constantly going in and out of the bathroom. They were working and needed rest. Alex knew they checked on her like sentries throughout the night and had accommodated her primarily because they didn’t want her to have to nurse them. They both took her to the doctor, made sure she took her antibiotics and drank lots of fluids, bought her reading material, and even hauled a TV into the bedroom despite her protests that she didn’t need it. Surely being apart from her and being “deprived” of sex hadn’t created a problem for them. Especially enough for one or both of them to have talked with Stephan about her.

Dinner was tense, with Devon actually being sullen and Jeff quite distant. Alex tried to infuse some lighthearted chatter into the meal, but aside from requests to pass the potatoes and the pepper, the men didn’t even talk to one another much. At first Alex assumed that they’d handled a nasty case. They sometimes brought their work home and it made for an uncomfortable time, but it soon passed in her company. Careful inquiries into their day brought blank stares and non-committal comments.

Jeff asked her what she had done during the day, and she chattered about her work, but avoided talking about Melissa coming over. She would find another way to bring up the issue if she could. Both of them appeared to be on the brink of saying something to her then refrained. The anger in their eyes scared her more than their silence. Alex took the plunge.

“Is something wrong?” she asked.

Jeff stared at her. “Why would something be wrong, Alex?”

She tried again. “You seem bothered by something, both of you, so I wondered. Anyway, I have something important I want to discuss with you, too.”
