“I trust and believe in you.  And we will resolve this thing together,” she said firmly.

“We will.  I have no doubt,” he smiled.  “Where is everybody?”

Beth had enough doubt for the two of them but she refused to show it.  She pulled out of his arms.

“Tracy went for a walk with Blaze and Jen is in her bedroom,” she said.

“Let’s order in some lunch for everyone.  I’m starved,” he suggested.

“Alright.  The restaurant down the block delivers and they have wonderful food,” she said.

“Sounds great,” he returned.  “Which one is your bedroom?  I’d like to take a shower before we eat.”

“Down the hall, make a left and it’s the last door on the right,” she directed.

“Okay. I will place the order. It should be here by the time you are done,” she smiled.

“That quick?  I was hoping you could join me,” Grey smiled devilishly.

“Jen’s here!”  Beth whispered, wishing Jen had gone out with the others.

He nodded, picked up his suitcase then disappeared down the corridor.  Beth picked up the phone and called the restaurant to place the order.  Thankfully she had learned just enough French to communicate basic needs.  Tracy was not always around.

“I hope you ordered strawberry crepes.  I love them.”

Beth turned to see Jen strolling into the salon.  Beth hoped that Jen was in a better place now.  Seeing Tracy’s love bites had made Jen furious and her mood had been horrific for the past two days.

“I did.  Have you been asleep?”  Beth asked conversationally.

“No. I’ve just been thinking,” Jen said.

“About what?”  Beth asked as she stood in front of the book case.

“About going home,” Jen announced.

“Home?  You can’t,” Beth objected.

“Why not?  Someone should be at The Sea View since Grey is here now.  I heard him arrive,” Jen said sourly.

Beth thought that Jen would hardly be the appropriate person to run The Sea View while they were in France.  And Beth knew Grey would have handled everything before leaving.

“Yes, he’s here.  But why would you want to leave while everything is in turmoil?”  Beth asked dumbfounded.

Jen rolled her eyes.

“I hardly think this
thing
requires all of us to be here.  I’m sure it will be rectified soon enough,” Jen said cavalierly.  “And I refuse to remain here to watch Blaze and Tracy fawning over each other.  It’s disgusting.”

Beth was taken aback.  Jen was showing a whole new level of selfishness.  She couldn’t get what she wanted so she was ready to take off; ignoring the fact that Grey could be in a perilous situation.

Beth wanted to rage at her for her self-absorption but she restrained herself.  Maybe it was best that Jen leave.  She certainly would be no help to them if she stayed.

“I’ll arrange your flight home,” Beth said tightly.

“Have the jet ready by tomorrow morning,” Jen said importantly.  “I want to leave immediately.”

“I’ll check with Grey,” Beth muttered angrily.

Jen turned and flounced out of the room.  Beth wanted to hurl a book end at her.

Chapter 5

T
racy sat cocooned in Blaze’s arms on the balcony of his villa.  She stared out at the lovely sea and thought how wonderful it would be if none of this chaos was going on.  Beth and Grey could be happily preparing for their wedding and she and Blaze could enjoy getting to know one another.  There would have been no dark clouds of uncertainty hanging over their heads.

But, as it were, they
were
in the midst of such turmoil and Jen’s bad attitude only served to make everyone even more uncomfortable and on edge.  She’d even taken things up a notch when, during lunch, Grey informed her that the jet would not be available for her trip home.  The pilot had already left for Chicago to pick up important clients and transport them to The Sea View for a meeting with Jake, who was in charge of maintenance for the entire resort and filling in for Grey during his absence.  Grey had made the arrangements before being summoned to France and they could not be broken.  Luckily, Jake was capable of filling in for him while he was away.

Jen was incensed at having to fly commercial.  One would have thought that she’d traveled all of her life by private jet.  But, while her behavior was absurd, everyone tried to ignore it in an attempt to enjoy their time together.

Jen pouted throughout the entire lunch then finally went off to her bedroom in a huff.  Blaze and Tracy decided to go sightseeing while Grey and Beth disappeared into their own bedroom.  The group was planning on traveling to Victory’s End the next day and, after his long trip, Grey needed a nap to get his body back in peak form.  He also craved some alone time with Beth.

Tracy and Blaze had a great time taking in the sights.  The museums, old churches and cobbled streets were beautiful.  Tracy especially enjoyed browsing the wares of the vendors and slipping in and out of the numerous shops.  And despite her protests, she had to admit that she loved how Blaze insisted on buying nearly everything in which she showed any interest.  He said he wanted to spoil her and Tracy decided to let him.

Tracy loved the feeling of being special and reveled in it.  It had seldom happened in her past experience with men.  But, then again, she had never been with a man like Blaze.

They eventually ended up in a quaint café and ate a wonderful supper while listening to French classics by Yves Montand.  Then they walked back to Blaze’s villa where they spent the evening relaxing together on the balcony.  She breathed deeply.

“Comfy?”  Blaze asked.

“Oh yeah,” she answered.  “Today was a lovely day.  I had fun.  Thank you for all of my gifts.  You’re very generous,” she said softly.

“You very welcome.  I enjoyed our time together.  It needs to become a habit,” he mused.

“Are you sure you won’t get tired of me?”  said queried, only half joking.

“Never,” he responded gently.  “You’re just what I’ve needed for a long time.”

Tracy was puzzled.  No man had ever said such a thing to her.

“And what exactly have you been missing?”  she questioned curiously.

“Searching for compliments, lady?”  he smiled.

“No. It’s just that I’ve never been on the receiving end of a comment like that,” she explained.  “I’m truly curious.”

He looked down at her and saw her open interest.  She wasn’t fishing for praises, she was genuinely inquisitive.

“What kind of men had she dated that couldn’t appreciate her tremendous value?”
he thought. “They must have been idiots.”

“I have encountered a lot of women who were grasping, selfish, egotistical and completely full of themselves.  You are none of those things,” he explained.  “You’re sensitive, kind, honest and unaffected.  You care about others and will put them first.  You’re the breath of fresh air of which I want to breathe deeply.  I can’t believe my luck in finding you.”

Tracy was staggered by his assessment of her.  She was glad she was already sitting down.  No man had ever said anything remotely close to the description he just gave of her.  She felt like he had just set her on a pedestal from which she would surely fall.

“I’m human, Blaze.  Please don’t put me on such a lofty shelf. I’m afraid I’ll lose my balance,” she cautioned.

“Well, then I will be there to catch you,” he murmured.  “I know you are not perfect; no one is.  But you are a wonderful, beautiful, gracious lady whom I want in my life.”

“And want you in mine,” she said simply.

He bent his head and kissed her gently.  The kiss soon became more aggressive and he scooped her into his lap.  Blaze wasn’t sure that it was such a wise move for his cock had already sprung to life; insistent and demanding.

There was no way she couldn’t feel his desire.  He ran his hands all over her body, settling on her full breasts.  He massaged them through her silk blouse then began to unbutton it.  He made quick work of the enclosures and was happy to discover that her bra closure was in front.

He unsnapped the lacy red bra to allow her breasts to spring forward.  He fingered her nipples until they were hard then he brought his mouth to their peak and suckled hungrily.  Tracy was soon lost in the sensation that he had created.

She allowed herself to give in to her desire.  Her sexual yearning was mounting and she didn’t want it to stop.  She unconsciously wriggled her bottom to spread her legs and Blaze thought he would explode.

He couldn’t hold back any longer.  He stood and carried her into his bedroom where he effortlessly deposited her onto the huge bed.  His passion-filled eyes spoke his question.

Tracy looked up at him with desire laden eyes and smiled wantonly.  That was all the answer he needed or wanted.  He stripped in mere seconds and stood immobile to accept her feverish gaze.

Tracy thought his body was magnificent.  Her eyes raked over him zealously; trailing every inch of his toned, muscular physique until they landed on his protruding penis.  His thick, long cock jutted forward imperiously; arrogantly demanding entry to her most sacred sanctum.  Tracy had never wanted a man as much as she wanted him.  She sat up on her knees.

“Undress me,” she whispered.

He grasped her shoulders and kissed her deeply.  Then he pushed her red blouse from her slender, smooth shoulders.  He tossed it to the floor along with the matching bra.

Then he unsnapped her white capris and pushed them over the luscious curves of her hips.  They fell to her knees and he stared at the bikini panties that barely covered her private area.  Her breasts thrust, erect and heavy; her small waist glided into her alluring hips and her hidden haven beckoned his heightened senses.  She was sexy and exciting as hell and he could no longer wait to ravage her.

He placed his hands behind her knees and flipped her onto her back.  Yanking her capris off of her, he slowly pushed down her red panties and removed them.  Then he knelt on the bed and bent over her to tongue her breasts once again.  Tracy arched her back in pleasure and cried out softly.

“Blaze!”

She moaned as he licked, tugged and caressed her hardened nipples.  He couldn’t seem to get enough of them.  She clasped his hips, pulling him downward and he ground against her as she writhed beneath him.

Blaze trailed kisses down her flat belly and tongued her navel.  Desire was driving him to the edge of insanity and he thrived on it.  He slid his hand to her mound and allowed his fingers to slip through her slit.  She jumped at his invasion and sucked her breath.

He worked her nub until she was twisting in pleasure.  She opened her mouth to scream and he swallowed it with a deep kiss. Then he spread her legs wider and moved his mouth to her wetness.  This time she did yell when his tongue licked her hot pussy.

Settled between her legs, Blaze stayed there loving her for what seemed like forever.  He loved tasting her.  And she loved it, too, because he could feel the tension building in her and knew she was going to come.

He felt the same surge flowing through him and knew his time was upon him.  He moved above her and positioned his cock at her opening.  He pushed in and she tightened.

“Tracy?  You’re not a—”

She shook her head negatively.

“No.  But it’s been a long time since…”

She trailed off.

“Since you’ve been with a man,” he finished for her.

She nodded.

“And I’ve never been with a man like you,” she smiled.

He kissed her.

“Don’t stop, Blaze. Please don’t stop,” she begged.

He didn’t speak.

He pushed slowly into her hollow then stopped to allow her time to accept him.  But they were both so close to coming and he simply couldn’t wait any longer.  He thrust swiftly forward until he was fully encased in her.

Then he began pumping; faster and faster until they were coming together.  Their climax was thunderous as they both moaned in pleasure.  Never had Tracy felt so much excitement and erotic sensation.  To say she felt wonderful was an incredible understatement.  There was no way to describe how she felt other than to say it was indescribable.  They both came back to reality gasping for air.

“That was incredible,” he panted.  “
You
were incredible.”

“So were you,” she rasped.

He attempted to pull out of her but she stopped him.

“Not yet.  You feel so good.  Stay,” she pleaded.

He stayed inside of her until he slipped out, spent.  Then he pulled her close and trailed his fingers down her arm.

“It’s never been that good for me before, Tracy.  You’re so very special,” he said softly.

“I feel the same way.  No man has ever made me feel the way you do,” she responded.

“I think we’re a match made in heaven,” he smiled.

“Heaven on earth,” she murmured drowsily.

Blaze squeezed her shoulders and closed his eyes. They slept peacefully.

The next morning Grey and Beth offered to take Jennifer to the airport but she declined.

“I prefer a taxi,” she said abruptly.

Jen was obviously still miffed about having to fly commercial and she hadn’t gotten over Blaze’s rejection of her.  It was an awkward situation and Tracy and Beth were glad when the cab arrived.  They walked Jen out to the taxi.

“Call us when you arrive at The Sea View,” Tracy said.

Jen looked at her coldly and said nothing.  The driver held the door open for her and she got into the car without saying a word.  When the taxi finally drove off both Tracy and Beth exhaled.

“I hate to say it but I’m glad she’s gone,” Beth said.

“I couldn’t agree more.  Jen’s behavior was toxic and it’s better that she’s not here,” Tracy said.

“I’m sorry for how she behaved toward Blaze.  I never expected that from her,” Beth said.  “I know Jen is a bit self-centered but I never thought she would try to steal your boyfriend.”

“I was so angry with her for the past few days but now I just feel sorry for her,” Tracy said.  “After the Jarod debacle she seems to have lost her way.  We have to be patient with her.  She has gone through a lot of painful humiliation; most recently with Jarod and Blaze but, really, as far back as her ex-husband, Stephon.”
