“Cold.” Call pulled him to him.

“Yeah. Colder than I thought.” Alpha groaned as Call lifted his legs around his waist, walking them to a romantic area behind the waterfall.

“You can make your body stop trembling, can’t you?” Call held Alpha tighter, careful not to stumble on the flat rocks on the river’s bed.

“Of course, I can. But why would I do that, when I got you to make me warm?”

Call licked Alpha’s chin before he dipped them under the waterfall into the dark cave. The moonlight streamed in through the water, making the water droplets sparkle like crystals. He pushed Alpha’s hot body up onto the smooth, cool surface of the rocks. His skin glistening in the darkness. His cock was hard and begging for attention. A fine rod jutting out from a trimmed bed of dark hair. Call opened his mouth and took his lover in, loved to give him pleasure with his mouth first. Starting out intimate and loving before they fucked and growled like the deadly men they were.

Alpha

“Ohhhh,” Alpha groaned from a place so deep, only his commander could reach it. He spread his legs wide, his body no longer trembling from the cool water of the river, but from the euphoria flooding his system. He was going to enjoy this. It would be the last time they could make love here for a while since the season was quickly coming to an end.

Call gripped him under his ass and shoved him deeper into his mouth. He loved how strong his SEAL was… always had. Very few men could stand to be in his presence. Call – government name Commander John Marion – was one of them. From their first encounter, the man was not scared of him. Alpha admired Call, admired his loyalty to his men and his country, and marveled at his allegiance and brilliance. He was perfect for him. Alpha knew he wouldn’t be an assassin forever. He’d have to live out the days of his retirement outside the Order and knew he didn’t want to do it alone. Alpha was quick to show Call that the deep scars and craters caused by shrapnel, the metal from the bomb that had exploded and damaged his left side, had no effect on him. Call was a beautiful man. Some may have felt that the SEAL had been handsome at one point in his life, but Alpha knew what truly made a person beautiful.

He held Call’s face in his hands, made sure to keep his eyes on him as he pleasured him. Alpha rarely closed his eyes when they were intimate, needed to watch the sexiness that was his cherished.

Oui mon
chéri
,”
Alpha purred as Call took his thick cock and eased into him like he owned him. Fuck. He did. Owned him in every way. Like no one had been able to. Knew exactly where to aim, how deep to thrust and how hard. Read Alpha’s body like the most complex proverb and unlocked its every meaning. “John.”

“I’m right here,” the deep voice whispered back.

“Touch me… everywhere… I need… need your hands.” Alpha didn’t have to tell Call. Call knew Alpha needed a firm touch. Strong hands grabbed and stroked up his chest, gripping his shoulders. Call jerked hard and thrust up, hitting every hot spot he had. “Yesssss.
Oui, oui
.”

“Talk to me, beautiful. Tell me how good I fuck you,” Call commanded gruffly.

Damn. They were taking it to this level already. Barreling towards orgasm while running away from the inevitable end. Fuck, he didn’t want it to end. He was drowning in pleasure deeper than the depths of Whitewater Falls. Call pounded into him. Brought the stars out in the darkness of their love cave. He spoke to Call in Persian and French. Call spoke fluent French and was quickly learning Persian. Knew the words of Alpha’s ecstasy. They moaned together and released rugged sounds like they were part of an out-of-tune choir.

“Oh… my… god,” Call said with each thrust.

Alpha’s spine tingled when Call hissed his name. “You’re mine, Daskshaun.” Didn’t call him Alpha… called him a “man of army.” Abandoned their titles and spoke Alpha’s real name in a perfect Persian accent. Gave him a glare that almost sent him over the edge. Alpha’s flesh twitched like Call’s words were hot wax. Blood rushed between his legs, added girth and length to his rigid dick. He was coming. His man hitching on for the ride. Fucked him with viciousness. Fucked him with a power that only Call possessed.

“Fuck,” Call moaned. His strong hands squeezed Alpha’s body. He felt the heat of Call’s come flood his channel.

Alpha groaned, his body feeling like he’d been in an accident, aching everywhere. He cursed his lover in French. Told him he was a ruthless bastard and on the next breath told him he loved him.

Call grinned that sexy smirk and pulled Alpha down off the rocks, wrapping his aching legs around his waist and walking them back under the waterfall. He let the pure water cleanse their bodies, the chill of the night washing over them, cooling off the embers of fire that still sizzled on their skin.

Alpha tilted his head back while Call ran his hands through his dark, wavy hair as if he was cleaning it. When he lifted his head back up and opened his eyes, Call was watching him with that powerful look. The grip on his back becoming painful. “Say you belong to me,” he demanded, holding Alpha tighter.

Alpha met his gaze. Obeyed the command. Said it with his eyes first, before he said it out loud. “
Je suis à vous.

“Fuckin’ right you do,” Call growled, walking them back towards the bank.

Damn, this man was like no other he’d encountered in his life. In his eyes, Call was more powerful than he was. Any man who could bring Alpha to his knees with one look should be feared.

Call

“What do you want to eat for dinner?”

“Meat,” Alpha answered while putting away their gear. Call turned and watched the meticulous way Alpha situated their belongings in the large closet. He wondered if the man had a touch of OCD. Things had to be done a certain way each time, but it was limited to their artillery and tactical equipment, so Call didn’t overthink it. Their house was a fairly decent size, but not a monstrosity. He could be in the bedroom, and if Alpha was in the kitchen he’d hear him yell his name. The place came fully furnished and had been an easy transaction between them and another naval officer.

Alpha still wasn’t used to being out among civilization. He’d only been discharged from the Order for a year and a half. His brother Omega was taking it pretty well. He’d check in with Alpha by satellite phone once a month and swear that he was staying out of trouble. Omega was just as deadly as his older brother, but he’d sworn an allegiance to him, so when Alpha retired, so did Omega.

“Do you want me to cook?” Alpha walked slowly up to Call, who was leaning in the doorway between the kitchen and living room, stopping when their chests touched. “Or do you want me to take you in to town to a nice dinner?”

Call studied Alpha. He knew what he was doing. Going into town meant people staring at him. He shoved his hands in his pants to keep from clinching his fists. He hated some of those bigoted assholes in the small town. Out of the entire one hundred fifty-person population of Salem, it seemed that whenever they went into town, only the assholes were out. “You’re still getting used to large crowds, Shaun. I think we should stay in,” Call said with very little conviction, turning to take the few steps up to their bedroom.

“You should know by now you can’t bullshit me, John.” Alpha’s dark voice was close on his heels but Call didn’t bother turning around. He went into their room and began shedding his muddy clothes, craving a scalding hot shower.

“I’m not bullshitting.”

Alpha stood at the bathroom door, his eyes never leaving Call’s body as he peeled away each layer. “You know I’m fine in public… for the most part. And as far as my discomfort. When has three couples in a mom and pop diner been a crowd?”

“You know what I mean.” Call’s voice carried through the glass shower doors. He really hoped Alpha would let this drop, but after a few moments of silence and then the sound of the door sliding open, he realized that wasn’t going to happen.

He didn’t want to be around anyone. That’s why they lived here. Secluded. Isolated. So he didn’t have to see the fucked up stares and hear the loud gasps. Alpha ignored it, but Call had a hard time. If they only knew how he got those scars and burns – defending them and their freedoms – then people wouldn’t be so quick to judge.

Alpha wrapped his lean arms around Call’s torso from behind, placing warm kisses between his shoulder blades. “You have to stop doing this to yourself.”

Call closed his large hands around Alpha’s wrists, yanking his hands off him. He turned around and glared into Alpha’s gorgeous face. He’d never understand. Call was once just as beautiful as Alpha. He was never a vain man, he just… just. He wasn’t ugly like now. Call put his hands on Alpha’s throat and guided him back to the hot tiles. “Doing what to myself?” Call gritted. “
I
didn’t do this. An enemy did this to me. An enemy of my country. I fought him and I lost. Now my disfigurement is my shame.”

Alpha’s coal dark eyes ignited with anger. He swiftly brought his hands up between Call’s arms and snatched his hands away from his throat. Call’s eyes widened when his arms were twisted and clasped together as Alpha spun them, pushing Call against the tile. “Shame. Shame,” Alpha hissed in Call’s ear. “Shame is only reserved for the pitiful things we
choose
to do. You fought honorably and your opponent chose to fight you like a weakling. With an explosive instead of skill.
He
was shamed.”

Call tried to jerk his arms out of the complex hold, his heart hammering in his chest.

“In my Order, when we come back from a mission with scars we are celebrated because it’s an embedded trophy. Regardless of the scars, we won because we’re the ones still standing, still strong. It means we fought a good fight and we wear our scars with pride.” Alpha rumbled with anger, “Not with shame. Look at my hand, John!”

Call panted into the steam. He knew which hand Alpha was referring to. He looked at the raised tissue on Alpha’s right hand.

“An arrow pierced my hand there. A fucking coward shot me from seventy feet away. I hunted him for a month before I killed him slowly, face-to-face. Are you telling me I should be ashamed?” Alpha snapped.

“It’s not the same,” Call snapped back.

Alpha released him and Call turned around, bumping chests with his lover. He was furious, but also confused. He knew his man was right, but he couldn’t shut off those damn feelings. He was looked at like a prince every day, all day by Alpha. But when he was around others, he was reminded of how he really looked. Alpha looked him in his eye and Call could see the disappointment evident in that dark glare.

“The man I love is confident and strong. I deserve no less and I’ll have no less. When my beloved comes back… I’ll be back.” Alpha turned and left the shower.

Call wanted to go after him, but his pride wouldn’t let him. After several minutes, he turned off the taps and slowly got dressed in their bedroom, listening for sounds in their home. Any sound that said Alpha was still there. He grunted with irritation because he knew the wise man was right. His mind didn’t go back to that day often, but his eyes flinched when he thought of the panicked yells of his comrades as they took enemy fire.
