“Ah!” Angel cried out as she sank down on his cock. “I’ve been wanting this all day. “ She moved her body over his.

It was a bit awkward for him to do anything in this position, so he just let her have her way with him.

“Oh, my God,” Harrison moaned as it got to be too much for him. Angel was riding him uninhibitedly, moving up and down on his cock and kissing him passionately. All he could do was cup those full breasts and let her do her thing. He stopped playing with the erect nipples, grasped her by the hips, and moved her lower body up and down on his cock. Harrison moved to the edge of the couch so he could maneuver better.

“Harder,” she told him breathlessly. “I want you to bury your dick as far inside me as you possibly can.”

“Then we’re going to have to change positions, honey.”

She climbed off his lap.

He looked down. His dick was covered in her juices. Harrison positioned her on her knees on the carpeted floor and entered her from behind.

“Ah shit,” she moaned as he took her with long, deep thrusts. He pulled out and pushed back inside her. Angel exploded on the next thrust, screaming his name so loudly that he couldn’t help but go off with her. The cum moved through his balls and out of the head of his dick so quickly it made his stomach cramp.

“Oh,” he groaned. It felt like he busted more than a nut. He also lost his heart in the process. Harrison pulled out of her. Cum slid down her thigh. They’d made a mess of each other.

Angel rose on unsteady legs. Her breasts were still swollen with desire. The sight of her covered in sweat just set off something inside his head
. Damn, she’s hot. I’m such a lucky bastard
.

“Thank you,” she said with a sultry smile. “I needed that.”

He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her again. “I needed that too.”

“Daddy kissed Angel.”

Harrison groaned. Ethan said a full statement this time.

Angel looked around and laughed. “Yes, Daddy kissed Angel.”

Ethan waddled toward them. “Up, Angel.”

“Um, not now, sport. Angel is naked and full of Daddy’s love juices.”

Angel popped him on the arm playfully. “What am I supposed to do? My clothes are all over the floor.”

“I’ll divert his attention,” Harrison said. “But he needs to get a look at a woman’s body so he can see how beautiful it is.”

Angel slid off his lap and crawled over to her clothes. Her naked behind was also a delightful sight. She scrambled back into her clothes while a wide-eyed Ethan watched. Angel picked him up and held him while he dressed.

“I hope he didn’t see us doing it doggy-style,” she said. “Poor child is going to grow up remembering he saw Daddy doing the nasty.”

Harrison chuckled. “I can think of worse things for him to remember.” He wrapped his arms around both of them. “Love making is beautiful and natural.” He kissed her on the cheek.

Ethan put his hand up and pushed him away from Angel. He rubbed her cheek to erase the kiss and then he kissed her.

“I’m not going to compete with you,” Harrison told Ethan. “But at least you’re on the right track.”

It was a long sober ride to the cemetery. They brought flowers and placed them on his parents’ grave and then Angel’s parents’ grave. Surprisingly enough, the graves weren’t too far from each other. Hopefully, they were friends in the afterlife. Unfortunately, Henry was buried in the same cemetery. Angel put a lone white carnation on his grave. “Good-bye,” she said after gazing down on the headstone. “Rest well.”

Olivia’s grave was on the opposite side of the cemetery. They walked past other families along the way who were tending to their loved ones’ graves. Harrison put his hand on the cold marble. “Olivia, honey, it’s me, Harrison. I have Ethan with me. You wouldn’t recognize him.” His voice cracked as he fought back the sorrow. “He’s so big. I’ve also brought along a friend. This is Angel. You’d like her. She’s been seeing to me and Ethan.”

Angel put the yellow carnations in the pot on Olivia’s grave. “Nice to meet you, Olivia,” she said. “You gave birth to a wonderful child. You would be proud of him. He’s just like Hawk.”

It was the first time she’d referred to him by his nickname. “I’d like your permission to continue  looking after them. I know I can’t replace you in their hearts, but I promise to do the best I can to make them happy. I lost my husband, too, and Harrison came into my life at just the right time.”

The birds in the trees began to chirp.

“I think she answered you,” Harrison said, helping her to her feet. “You’ve made her happy. Olivia always liked to hear the birds chirping.”

Ethan tried to touch the headstone.

Harrison bent so he could. “Mama.”

Ethan looked at the headstone and then at Angel. “Mama,” he said, reaching for her.

Tears welled in Angel’s eyes. “No baby. Mama’s in the grave. I’m Angel.”

“No, Mama,” Ethan said, reaching for her.

“He doesn’t understand,” Angel said, almost apologetic.

“Sure he does,” Harrison said. “Mama is a person who sees that he’s safe and fed. And who loves him unconditionally. Olivia might have given birth to him, and Trudy might have raised him for a couple of months, but you’re the one who his eyes light up for and he thinks about.”

Angel reached for the child. “I don’t want to confuse him, in case…”

“In case of what? I throw you aside?” Harrison chuckled. “I don’t think I’ll be doing that. You’re stuck with us.”

That made her smile. “This was a nice idea,” she said. “I feel like I have closure.”

“Me too,” Harrison said, leading her and Ethan away from Olivia’s grave.

Angel couldn’t shake the feeling all day that Harrison wanted to tell her something, but just couldn’t find the right words to say it. He picked a perfect day for a drive and despite the traffic, she had a great time sight-seeing places she hadn’t seen in years and just spending time with Harrison and Ethan. They stopped at McDonalds for lunch and Ethan got his very first Happy Meal. Harrison took the toy out of the box before Ethan could see it because the pieces were too small for him to play with. But Ethan loved the French fries anyway.

Later for dinner, he took them to a Chinese restaurant and Ethan got a chance to try several different vegetable dishes. They walked along the beach afterwards to digest their food and then they headed home when it started to get late. Harrison had just enough time to bathe Ethan before the child fell asleep. Both of them kissed him goodnight and tiptoed out of his bedroom.

“I had a real nice time today,” Angel told him.

“Yes, it was fun,” Harrison agreed. “I think Ethan had a blast too, running along the beach. I just wish he wasn’t so afraid of the water. He’s a Daytona Beach boy. I want him to learn to swim and surf.”

“I’ve wanted to talk to you about that. You might want to enroll him in a beginner’s swimming class.”

“That’s not such a bad idea,” Harrison said. “But I don’t think I have the time right now to take him.”

“I could take him. The Y gives classes once a week on Saturday mornings.”

“I don’t know,” Harrison said as they walked into the kitchen. “I don’t want to impose on your Saturdays.”

“It’s only an hour class for eight weeks. I teach the class sometimes, so I won’t let anything happen to him.”

“I’m not worried about that. I just don’t want you to interrupt your life for us. What did you usually do on a Saturday morning before we moved in?”

“Sometimes I had my nails done or washed clothes or something. I’m not a high-maintenance woman so I don’t have to have my fingernails done every weekend.”

“Well, what would happen if you broke a nail and had to have it fixed?”

“The nail shop stays open until eight every night except Sunday. And if it’s a real nail emergency, I’d just take him with me.”

“Forget that plan,” Harrison said. “He can go to swim class, but I have to draw the line on him being in a nail shop.”

“I wouldn’t actually let him get his nails polished,” Angel mumbled. “Maybe just let him put his feet into the water for a massage.”

“He’s a boy,” Harrison told her. “When we have a girl, then you can take her places like that.”

“We’re going to have a girl?” Angel asked.

“It could be possible in the future if you’re okay with it.”

“I’d like that,” Angel said. “I’m going to love being her mother, if she turns out half as good as Ethan.”

“Don’t say his name too loud,” Harrison said. “He might wake up and see us doing it again.”

“Oh, are we going to do it?”

“It’s been on my mind all day.”

“Even at the cemetery?” Angel asked.

He nodded. “You looked quite lovely out there amongst the headstones.” He rose from the kitchen chair and led her to his bedroom. They spent two blissful hours making love, until Ethan work up screaming for them.

“What’s wrong with him?” Harrison asked nervously, pacing the floor in Ethan’s room.

Angel removed the electric thermometer from Ethan’s ear. “He has a fever. One hundred and one.”

“A fever? How did he get a fever?”

“Relax,” Angel said. “Kids get fevers. Do you have any children’s fever reducer?”

“Yes,” Harrison said, rushing to the medicine cabinet. He found the medicine and handed it to Angel, who now had the whining infant on her lap. She opened the medicine, measured it in the dropper, and coaxed Ethan to put the pen his mouth.

Ethan made a face because of the grape flavor and then closed his eyes again.

“Do you want me to take him?” Harrison asked.

“No,” Angel said, rocking him. “Why don’t you go get some rest? “I’ll sit with him until the fever leaves. You’ve been driving all day.”

“But I need to learn to take care of him.”

“I’ll wake you if the fever gets worse. Just let him rest here for a while.”

Harrison felt helpless. His son was sick and someone else was tending to him. “Are you sure?"

“Yes,” Angel said. “I want to do this.”

“Okay,” he agreed. “Call me if you need me.”

Harrison went to his bathroom for a shower and then crawled into bed alone. Worry kept him from going directly off to sleep. Angel woke him about five in the morning.

Harrison jumped out of the bed. “Is he okay?”

“He’s fine,” she said. “He’s sleeping and the fever is gone.”

Harrison went with her to check on Ethan. He found him fast asleep in his toddler bed. Harrison touched his forehead. It felt cool. “What was wrong with him?”

“I don’t know just yet, but you might want to get in touch with the pediatrician and let him take a look at him in case it’s an ear infection.”

“Did you get any sleep?”

“A little,” Angel said.

She looked like she hadn’t slept at all and she had to be to work in a couple of hours. “Let me fix you some coffee,” he said, leading her into the kitchen.

“You know how to make coffee?” she asked, yawning.

“Yes, I’m not totally inept in the kitchen.”

Angel chuckled. “You’re not totally inept in the bedroom either.” She sat down at the table.

“Just with Ethan.”

“No, not with him either. Just call Dr. Morris and see if he can see Ethan this morning. I’ll tell his teacher he’ll be late.”

“You’re so good to us.”

“That’s what lovers do. We look out for each other.”

Harrison prepared the coffee and then left her in the kitchen while he emptied his bladder. He checked in on Ethan again. He was still asleep hugging Bunny. Harrison found Angel napping at the table. He tiptoed in and poured them some coffee. He shook her awake.

Angel opened her eyes and accepted the coffee. A few minutes later, he sent her home to shower and prepare for work. At eight, he called Dr. Morris’ office and they told him to bring Ethan in.

Chapter Eight

“Ethan Calloway.” The nurse called his name.

Ethan raised his head from Harrison’s chest and then laid it back down.

Harrison rose.

“Right this way, Mr. Calloway,” the nurse told him. She led them to an examination room where Ethan was weighed and his temperature was taken.

100 degrees
. The temperature had returned. Harrison noticed the way Ethan moved around when the nurse tried to touch him, especially when she messed around with his right ear.

“The doctor will be in shortly,” she said, and then left the room.

Dr. Morris appeared in the room about five minutes later. “Hey, Ethan. Not feeling so well today?”

Ethan looked at the kindly doctor and then clung to Harrison.

“Hmm, apparently he remembers his last immunization,” Dr. Morris chided.

Harrison chuckled. “Apparently.” He carried Ethan over to the examination table and tried to place him on it.

Ethan tried to scramble back into his arms, but Harrison held him down gently so the doctor could listen to his heart with the stethoscope and examine him.

“He has an ear infection,” Dr. Morris finally said.

Damn, Angel was right
.

“I’m going to write you a prescription for an antibiotic. Continue to give him the children’s pain reliever to bring down the fever, especially at night. Fevers get very active when the body relaxes.”

“Will I be able to take him to day care today?” Harrison asked.

“Not today,” Dr. Morris said. “Give him plenty of fluids, but no milk. And just let him rest for a day.”

Harrison nodded. He’d have to call Ethan’s school and Angel to let them know that he would be keeping Ethan home for a couple of days. Lucky for him he didn’t have to go to the dojo today.

“Keep the antibiotic in the refrigerator,” Dr. Morris continued. “Ethan should like the grape flavor.”

Harrison smirked. He might have to pry Ethan’s mouth open to get it into him since he didn’t like sweets.

“How has he been other than that?” Dr. Morris asked.

“He’s been a handful,” Harrison answered honestly. “He gets into and out of everything. We call him Houdini because he’s an escape artist.”

Dr. Morris chuckled. “Has he shown any symptoms of hyperactivity?”

Harrison shook his head. “No, he’s capable of sitting still for long periods of time, and he’s not disruptive. He likes to color and watch television.”
