She sighed with pleasure, licking up the drops as they escaped from him. She sucked on him, swirling her tongue around his thick shaft and then gently removing her lips. Before she released her lips completely, she ran her tongue along the tip.

“Hmm...” she moaned. She found him delicious.

“Wow...” he whispered. His hands fell from her hair and reached for her to relax beside him. He smiled weakly, unable to move in his post-climactic paralysis. She stretched out beside him and stared into his eyes.

“You. Are. Amazing,” he said, running his hand over her silky hair.

“You’re too,” she mouthed silently, kissing him. His tongue enthusiastically met with hers. It was unlikely either of them would leave the room at all that night.

“I
can’t imagine my life without you,” Kevin murmured against her lips, breathlessly kissing her as his energy returned to him. Tara’s body fed his warmth, returning him to arousal he felt her breasts pressed against his chest. His teeth nibbled on her lips, tenderly seeking her out. Every time he thought about her, he welled up with excitement. She teased him with the tantalizing push and pull of her lips against his. She kissed him and then pulled back, breathtakingly making her his escape.

“You don’t have to imagine,” she responded, pressing her body against his and meeting his lips again. He wrapped his arms around her back and flipped her over, so that he was nestled on top of her. His cock throbbed at her entrance.

“Please don’t make me wait for it,” she gasped out, digging her nails into his back as she begged.

He plunged into her, succumbing to her breathless pleas. They continued to kiss as he dove deeper and further into her, each time with more fluidity. Tara’s moans sent him to new heights as they merged together, shifting their bodies as one. He kissed the corner of her mouth and then trailed his lips from her cheek to her neck, from her neck to her shoulder, and back up again. She was the thing keeping him together, yet unleashed his wildest flames. The bed rocked back and forth as his body became more eager.

“Ugh...” he groaned, bucking his hips to hers and feeling her body latching onto him. His hardness quivered inside her until he couldn’t take it any longer.

“Yes...ahhhh...” he cried out as he felt his wet heat exploding inside her channel.

“Hm...” she moaned, biting down on his lip. Her body writhed beneath him, seeking to quench her own need as his plunges became weaker. Kevin tilted his head so his lips could meet her nipples. He could feel her channel tighten as her body arched. Tara cried out as an orgasm charged through her body.

“Oh God ...” she screamed, falling back against the bed.

The bed squeaked as he continued to glide on top of her. He didn’t need anything else but to be nestled against her and just loving her as his lips caressed hers and they continued showing each other love with every movement.

J
ake covered his ears. Having to listen to his brother and Tara in the next room having sex was too much. The bed in Kevin’s room was pounding against the wall and he couldn’t bear that Tara’s screams of pleasure were for Kevin and not him. “This isn’t right,” he mumbled, closing his eyes and trying to drown out the sounds.

You should be the one in there...not him
,” he heard in his head. “
This is a disgrace to you. They’re being rude and not taking your feelings into account
.”

“Stop it!” he ordered, rocking back and forth. He couldn’t get the voices out of his head.

They don’t deserve the love you have given them. They need to pay
,” the voices chanted back.

He hit his hands down on the bed, mad at the truth. They did need to pay, because they were laughing in his face. They were trying to stop him from getting a woman like Tara.

“Leave me alone,” he said with anger. He sat up in the bed, his resolve made stronger by the voices.

“I’m going to make them pay,” he replied, getting out of the bed. He grabbed a knife from the top dresser drawer. He crept over to the door and opened it up. He left his room, nearly running into his mom and dad.

“Mom...Dad...” he said, hiding the knife in his hand.

“Hello, Jake,” his mom said, eyeing him with confusion.

The moaning coming from behind Kevin’s bedroom door was audible. Jake smiled, relieved to know his parents would stop what was going on in Kevin’s room. His parents would handle it.

“Did you both have a nice evening?” he asked, hoping to sound normal.

“We did,” his dad answered. “I suggest we all try to get some sleep.”

Jake’s jaw dropped. He couldn’t believe his parents knew what was happening under their roof and they chose to do nothing about it.

“But...” he began, still not sure how to approach the subject.

“Goodnight, Son,” his dad said, patting his shoulder. They walked away and went into their bedroom.

Jake stared after them. He couldn’t go into Kevin’s room now, not with them home. He went back to his room and shut the door in frustration. Soon, he would find a way to get back at them, he just knew it.

Chapter 9

––––––––

T
ara was happy. Things continued to improve in their budding relationship, and their friendship was stronger than ever. Kevin began his make-up course online and Tara continued to support his studies. She would do anything to get him through the class requirements. He reduced his hours at work to focus his time on studying. Tara maintained her work hours to save more money for Montana, but after work, they kept the focus on acing the course.

She continued to enjoy the job at the petting zoo. Admittedly, she missed seeing Kevin there every day. A week after that night at Kevin’s house, Tara was at work for her usual shift. She was raking out one of the horse’s stalls, when she spotted Amy pacing outside. Tara put her rake down and walked over to check on her.

“Hi Amy. Is everything alright?”

Amy looked up. She was beaming. It made no sense. It just didn’t coincide with her nervous pacing.

“I’m doing great, actually. I guess I’m just a bit nervous and I don’t have many friends to talk to. I didn’t want to interrupt you, but...”

“Anytime,” Tara replied with a smile. “We both have a break long overdue. Want to go for a walk?”

Amy nodded eagerly. “Thank you.”

They left the backyard and headed around to the front of the building where they could have some peace and quiet. It didn’t take long for Amy to start talking. “You know how I told you I’ve been dating someone?” she asked.

“Yes, I remember. That’s nice,” Tara congratulated her again.

“Well...we’re going on a date tonight and...” She hesitated.

Tara didn’t want to pry, so she just listened intently.

“He said he has something important to tell me,” Amy added. “I’m thinking he might tell me he loves me. Do you think it’s too soon?”

Tara saw the hope in Amy’s eyes and smiled genuinely.

“How do you feel about him?” she asked.

“Well...” She looked down at the ground, hesitant to share as they continued to walk and talk.

“I haven’t given it much thought,” she said and laughed. “No. That’s not the truth. It’s all I’ve been able to think about. I feel I could be in love with him, but I barely know anything about him. I don’t know his family. I just worry that it’s moving too quickly. You know?”

Tara thought about what Amy said.

“I don’t know that I’m the best one to pass judgment and give romantic advice.”

Amy turned to her. “Are you serious? You’re the perfect one. You have a relationship and you’re making it work.”

“Maybe, but it’s not like I haven’t made my share of mistakes,” Tara shared, turning to her. “Only you can decide what you want out of life. If you love him and he loves you...that’s all that matters.”

“You’re right,” Amy said. “I just want to make the right decision.”

“You never can know what the right decision is. You just have to take a leap of faith and hope for the best.”

“Thank you for listening, Tara.” Amy hugged her, surprising Tara. “I really appreciate it.”

“You’re welcome and I hope it goes well for you.” Tara answered, pulling back from the hug. “We better get back to work. I’m sure everything will work out. You’ll see.”

Amy seemed more certain too. As they got back from the walk, Tara spotted Kevin getting out of the car. It was a relief when they could see each other at work during some shifts, now that he had cut his hours. The three reached the front door together.

“I’ll head back now,” Amy said. “Oh, hi Kevin.”

“Hey!” Kevin said as Amy disappeared inside.

“Well this is a nice surprise,” Tara said, wrapping her arms around his neck.

“I wanted to come here and tell you about my test,” he whispered as he kissed her hair.

She stepped back, staring at him.

“Yes? Tell me.” She braced herself, hoping for good news.

He frowned. It didn’t look good. Tara felt her chest pounding.

“Did you fail?” She asked, unable to wait for him to admit it.

He continued to frown, until he finally shook his head and let out a booming laugh.

“I’m just teasing you. I got a perfect score.”

She smiled, wrapping her arms around him. “I knew you could do it.”

He laughed. “It was all with your help.”

They kissed. She was so relieved. He could do this on his own, if he just believed. When the kiss ended, he was still smiling.

“What do you say you come over tonight and we have a proper celebration? I have wine and I can make you supper.”

She raised her eyebrows in anticipation. “What about your parents and Jake?”

“Well, my parents are going out of town tonight and won’t be back until late tomorrow, and I slipped Jake twenty dollars to make himself scarce.” He laughed. “The place is definitely going to be ours to enjoy.”

“Then how can I resist?” she said, looping her fingers into his pants and dragging him closer to her.

“You can’t,” he said.

They kissed, not caring who was watching them.

“I’ll see you tonight at seven o’clock,” she said with a nod, playfully patted him on the behind and winked in his direction. She was going to make it an unforgettable night.

K
evin was finishing with the final touches of the kitchen table when Jake came down the stairs. He looked up as Jake entered the kitchen. He was wearing a navy blue baseball cap that made Kevin smile.

“That looks familiar,” he replied, pointing to the cap. “Your thirteenth birthday, all you wanted was a baseball cap of your own.”

The back of the cap was embroidered with the initials, JC.

“I can’t believe you still have it,” Kevin remarked.

Jake barely smiled. He had seemed so distant lately and Kevin hoped he would soon come out of his daze.

“You got it big enough, so it still fits,” Jake muttered.

Kevin nodded. “Didn’t want to take any chances. I always thought you had a big head,” he teased.

Jake laughed, but it was dry. They hadn’t teased each other like that in years.

“So...” Jake started. “I guess I’m out of here. Nice setup you have going there. I figured you were having Tara over.”

“Of course,” Kevin beamed. He couldn’t hide it. He was finally happy and in his element. He felt better about Advanced Zoology and he was walking on a cloud when it came to Tara and their future.

“So what about you, Jake? What are you doing tonight?” Kevin asked.

Jake shrugged. “Not sure, just hanging I guess.”

He waved, leaving Kevin in the kitchen alone.

Kevin turned back to the table and straightened up the bouquet of flowers in the center. It was going to be a romantic night. He would make sure of it. The doorbell rang so he quickly went to the door. He didn’t want to appear eager, but was too excited to worry. He opened it and greeted Tara with a long kiss. His arm snaked around her, pulling her into the foyer and slamming the door behind them. “Hello...” he mumbled against her lips.

“What a welcome,” she replied with a smile.

He pulled back and looked at her outfit.

“You look nice. Special occasion?” he asked, winking at her.

She laughed. “Well, my boyfriend invited me over to his place. I hope it’s special.”

Kevin loved the sound of her calling him her boyfriend. “I hope so to,” he replied, moving closer to her and putting his hand around her neck. There was no way to resist getting close to her when they were alone. He lifted her head up to him and kissed her deeply. His tongue slid into her mouth, weaving in and out. His hands drifted over her arms, tenderly massaging them.

If Kevin could have his way, they would skip dinner and go straight to dessert. However, the stove timer went off. He groaned, parting from her lips.

“We can scrap dinner and head straight for something more appetizing. I won’t mind.”

She laughed. “After you have been slaving over such a nice supper? Never!” She looked him over and raised her eyebrows. “And I’m starving, so how about we eat quickly and then we can move on to more...appealing things?”

Kevin had to agree. She was right. He was hungry too. He nodded, pulling away slowly and heading over to the stove to remove the food. The sooner they got done eating, the sooner he could try to quench his insatiable need to be closer to her.
God, I love her so
, he thought.

T
ara enjoyed her meal, and found the sounds of soft pop songs playing from the living room sound system quite relaxing. She learned new things she had never known about Kevin; things they couldn’t share in a platonic friendship. She never thought he would be so ready for a romantic connection. She found him so attentive, and loved that he desired her so completely. It was sexy and unbelievably fulfilling, yet she could not get enough of him.

She took another bite of the spaghetti. Kevin had gone all out with the Italian themed meal. It was her favorite.

“I have to say, you really impressed me this evening,” she started. “You had salad, spaghetti, garlic bread...wine. I couldn’t have asked for anything more...Lest I forget the romantic music in the background.”
