P
atrick had been right
about my needing some time with Flopsy. When he joined us after about half an hour, he brought some apple chunks and enticed her to come to him for the sweet treats. We laughed and joked as we sat in the floor and played with her, and I discovered I really liked this side of him.

He’d put jeans on but was still shirtless, and his jeans made me feel naked all over again — but I kept those thoughts at the back of my mind while we played with my happy little bunny.

When I finally put her up, he helped me stand and pulled me into the warmth of his arms for several long moments before telling me, “It’s time for some training, so you’ll have some rather strict rules for the next few hours. No speaking unless asked a direct question. I’ll modify it for you since you’re new to this — you may kneel at my feet and touch your forehead to the ground in front of me if you have a question or need to speak. The only exception is that you’ll need permission to use the restroom, so if you need to go then you may speak to ask permission.”

He was quiet long enough I worried he was waiting for my response, but he hadn’t asked a question so I nodded against his chest.

“You aren’t allowed on furniture unless invited up. When you aren’t under speech restriction you may ask permission, when you are then you’ll be stuck on the floor. You’ll find a floor pillow in most of the rooms we’ll be in, and you’re allowed to move the pillow to wherever I want you.”

Why were these rules making me horny? I nodded again, but I knew he could smell my arousal and I wasn’t sure I wanted him to know what his words were doing to me.

“I’m going to challenge you this morning and you aren’t going to be able to follow through on everything. There’ll be consequences when you can’t, but you need to understand training and consequences are totally different from punishments you’ll receive for breaking a rule. We’ll talk about it as we go, but this is an important point.” He pulled away and looked down at me a few seconds. “The room just past the dungeon is used for training. It isn’t pretty, and it’s designed so I can hose the whole room down if necessary. The code to enter is four zeros. Let yourself in and you’ll see a bondage chair on the right wall. I’ve attached a large phallus to the seat — lube it and yourself, and sit your ass down on it so your pussy’s empty. Put both hands to the back of your head, spread your legs as wide as you can, and put your weight on your toes with your heels in the air as if you were in four-inch stilettos.”

I met his gaze as I absorbed the instructions, and he added, “If you break position you’ll face consequences. I’m not going to tell you how long you’ll be in the position.”

I
watched
her on my internal security system, and smiled when she followed my instructions to the letter. It took her seven minutes to drop her hands, and I gave her a surge of electricity up her ass as they came down.

She was still trying to catch her breath — her arms back where they belonged — when I stepped into the room about thirty seconds later.

I’d taken my jeans off upstairs, and without a word I stepped to her and ordered, “Hands stay at the back of your head. Lean forward and take just the head of my cock in your mouth.”

She followed instructions well, and I let her pleasure the head a good five minutes before I ordered her to sit up, and I stepped away to get some supplies.

I love piercing people. Nothing beats watching the needle go through a nipple, a clit-hood, or a labia. I can even enjoy piercing lips and noses on the right people. The best thing about a werewolf girlfriend is you can pierce their nipples every day for months if you want — a quick
change
and you have a blank slate.

I’d take it easy on her today and use a skinny needle, but eventually she’d get piercings with a four-gauge needle.

“Open your mouth, flatten your tongue, and stick it out.”

This may sound like another sadistic order, but in reality it was to make her have to think an extra few seconds before she was tempted to speak. The hope was this would help her stay out of trouble. I smiled and said, “Good girl, pet,” when she did as I asked.

“Keep your tongue out. I’m going to pierce your nipples and I expect you to hold position.”

he needle hurt
, but it wasn’t what I expected. There was a thrill to it, and it wasn’t an entirely unpleasant experience. Also, I loved the way my nipples looked with the dainty little circles in them when he finished.

However, I dropped my hands three times while he pierced my nipples. Each time he merely stopped what he was doing and started counting. He made it to seven before I had them back the first time, and when they dropped the second time he started at eight.

“You did well and only made it to a count of fourteen,” Patrick said, dragging me back to reality when he finished. “Keep your hands where they are and stand.”

Lifting off the huge cock embedded in my ass wasn’t easy, and my hands came down two more times as I came off it. Now I was up to eighteen, and I had no idea what it meant but had a feeling I wasn’t going to like it.

He walked me to a horizontal metal bar and had me lean over it, and pressed a butt plug into me once again. I yelped as it went in but didn’t speak, and I hoped I was good.

“You’ll count each strike.”

My mind didn’t have time to make sense of the sentence before a paddle struck my ass and I screamed in pain and surprise.

“If you don’t count it, it doesn’t count.”

He struck my ass again and I blurted, “One!”

I knew he could’ve hit me harder, and yet halfway through I wanted to beg for mercy. I breathed in relief when he finally stopped after the fourteenth strike, and I wished I could sit on a nice cool glacier because my ass was on fire.

I walked with him to the corner when he finished, and terror shot through my veins as he connected two small chains hooked to the wall to my nipple jewelry.

“On your tiptoes.” His voice was casual, conversational, but I didn’t dare disobey. He adjusted the chains so they wouldn’t pull on my nipples unless I came down off my toes, and then reached for two chains draped through loops attached to the wall a few inches over my head.

These chains went from my wrist cuffs, through the loops, and down to my nipple jewelry. If I dropped my hands I’d pull my nipples up. If I came off my toes, I’d pull them up.

“Eighteen minutes.”

My arm muscles were already fatigued, and I think they were shaking a minute into it. My feet and calves were tired from being in this position as I sat, and it wasn’t long before they were shaking as well.

I had to go off my toes a few times, but only lasted seconds before my nipples forced me back up. I propped my hands on top of my head once and he said, “Time doesn’t count while they’re up there.”

I was openly crying — and had been a while — when his phone dinged and he finally released me from the horrible ordeal.

He pulled me into his arms — careful of my sore nipples — and said, “Those were consequences, pet. You weren’t being punished, you were just given incentive to follow orders better next time. I’m proud of you, and I’m horny as fuck.”

T
his room is
all metal pipe, raw wood, and concrete walls and floors. There’s no leather, no padding, and not a scrap of fabric. There are bare lightbulbs all over the ceiling so it’s well-lit but harsh, and there are metal grates in the floor at intervals so I can easily wash away blood, semen, spit, pee, and occasionally even shit. I’m not into scat play, but if a girl needs an enema, we can take care of the entire process in this room.

I sat on a metal chair, spread my legs, and motioned where I wanted her. “You have permission to use your hands. The goal is to pleasure me, not to get me off.”

As she silently leaned forward to follow my orders, the truth hit me like a slap in the face: The other women I’d brought home had been brought home for sexual fun. I hadn’t wanted to spend time with them outside of the scene. Not allowing speech meant no conversation. Not allowing them on furniture or on my bed meant no time to form too much of a bond.

I wanted to spend time with Briana. I wanted to use her and fuck her and hurt her and pleasure her, too — but I wanted the girlfriend experience with her. Not the slave experience.

Fuck me.
I was so far over my head.

I let her work me with her mouth, tongue, throat, and hands until I wanted to fuck her throat, instead I ordered her back over the horizontal bar. I pulled the plug, got her slick, and pressed my cock into her ass within about twenty seconds.

Fuck
, Hot Lips, you have permission to speak, just don’t be a bitch about it.”

“Shit, Patrick. I need to come so bad it hurts. Please help?”

How the fuck could I turn down that kind of request? I reached around and massaged her clit with one hand as I held her in place with the other, and fucked her for all I was worth. I didn’t intend to last long but I also wanted to make sure she felt me for the rest of the day.

I got her off twice before I came with her, and this time I picked her up and carried her upstairs to my bed to cuddle.

She snuggled into me so sweetly, and I kissed the top of her head as I pulled a sheet over us. “On a scale of one to ten, what do you give the entire experience?”

She moved her head on my chest to get more comfortable as she drowsily said, “Seventy-three.”

I chuckled. “Any logic to that number?”

“Yeah. It’s more than seven times better than perfect, but not quite eight. Seventy-three seems right.”

Apparently, my little wolf was flying high on endorphins.

“If the nipple rings bother you, I can take them out. Otherwise I’ll just get you to
change
inside, so they’ll hit the floor and I can find them.”

“I like them in.”

Ten seconds later, her breathing evened out and she gave a cute little snore. I smiled as I relaxed behind her and drifted off, too.

riana helped
me carry the cushions for the outdoor furniture to the patio, and then sat as I built a fire in the large fireplace. I’d had it built so the fire also went to a grill at the side, and we loaded it up with buffalo steaks I’d marinated in the morning’s bacon grease.

When the steaks were just about ready, she
changed
to wolf to heal her nipples, and I
changed
her back and then gave her a plate of steaks. With my new revelation about my feelings for her, there was no reason I had to feed her every time she ate.

I spent the next hour or so getting to know her better, and telling her about me when she asked questions. I discovered she really does like to clean and organize things. She compared herself to Sheldon when he organizes Howard’s closet and loves having the opportunity to do so.

“What do you know about guns?”

She shrugged. “I’ve shot since I was little. What do you want to know?”

“What’s the difference between a shotgun and a rifle?”

She stared at me a few seconds before asking, “Seriously? Shotguns shoot shells, usually twelve or twenty gauge. Rifles shoot bullets in a bigger variety of sizes. Rifles are usually for long range shots where accuracy is important, while shotguns are for shorter range when you need a scattered pattern.”

I lifted my eyebrows and rattled off a dozen bullet and shell sizes before asking her to line them up.

“Depends on whether you want them lined up by size or classification. Personally, I’d line up all the pistol ammo by size, then the rifle ammo by size, and then the shotgun shells.”

“My weapons room needs organizing. How much do you charge an hour?”

She shook her head. “I don’t know what’s happening between us, but I’m not going to do something you pay me to do. I’ll help you organize it if you want, but I won’t take your money.”

I nodded. “Fair enough. What’s your favorite gun? How often do you shoot?”

“I love my Ruger SR9, but it’s too big to carry. I don’t carry often, but when I feel the need I have a little LCP. What do you carry?”

“HK45CT and an M9 Beretta.”

Most are familiar with Beretta, but few have a clue about the manufacturer of my forty-five. She surprised me by asking if it was worth it to pay extra for the tactical version, which led to a discussion of suppressors and night sights.

We discussed guns another ten minutes when I smelled wolves and reached under my chair, ran my thumb over the hidden biometric sensor, and stood facing the woods with a full sized HK45 pointing at Frank, the Ringgold Alpha.

“You’re on private property.”

“And you’re a lone wolf in my territory using magic denied to those who aren’t Pack.”

I shook my head. “Not true. I’ve oathed to Randall, I just haven’t participated in a full moon run so I take on the energy of the entire Pack. I know I don’t smell like Pack, but you can call Randall to verify.”

“You’re in my territory. You were obligated to come to me to let me know you’re living here. Randall isn’t going to give the okay for you to slight me.”

He was absolutely right, but he shouldn’t have been able to feel me
change
her from wolf to human. I had to make a quick determination — bow to him and ask permission to live in his territory, or challenge him.

It wasn’t in me to bow to him, but he wasn’t alone.

“Who’s with you? I smell more wolves.”

A male and female stepped out of the woods, flanking him, and another female stepped into my yard off to my right. Four to two, and while Briana’s wolf had been vicious with me, I couldn’t be sure she’d hold her own against anyone else.

I took two steps back and offered her the gun as I said, “It’s my old competition gun and takes less than a pound of pressure to engage the trigger. You don’t have a long trigger pull, either.”

She took it and pointed it like a pro without comment, and I stepped to the side before walking in front of her, so I wouldn’t block her shot.

“Well then, no time like the present since you’ve encroached on my property,” I told Frank. “I challenge you for the position of Ringgold Pack Alpha. I’m prepared to follow through now, but I warn you this yard is videotaped with a feed to my cloud, and Randall will see a copy no matter the outcome, so you’d be wise to follow the rules.”

Frank took a breath, realized I spoke truth, and nodded. “We’ll do this publicly. My home at eight tomorrow evening, and you may bring whoever you wish as witness.”

I nodded. “Eight tomorrow evening, your home.”

When they were gone, I put my hand out to Briana and she settled the weapon into it before sinking back into her chair.

“I’m sorry,” I told her. “He shouldn’t have been close enough to feel the little bit of energy I used to
change
you.”

“Your energy feels like an Alpha’s energy. I… I liked it.”

I offered my left hand to help her up. “I’m glad you did, but we need to go inside and talk.”

She stood without accepting my offered hand. “You need both hands. I’ll go first so I won’t get in the way if they return and you have to shoot.”

She walked inside and downstairs, and I smiled at her practicality. If they were outside listening, they’d have a much harder time hearing if we weren’t near any windows.

“We shouldn’t stay here tonight,” she said as we hit the bottom step. “He might send someone to kill you and then burn the house down, so he won’t have to deal with the challenge.”

I nodded. “I’m aware, but I won’t run. I’ll take you somewhere safe so I know they won’t come after you before I can take over, but I’m spending the night here.”

She sighed. “Give me a weapon of my own and I’ll stay with you.”

“You’re a lone wolf. You don’t have to help me fight my battles.” In fact, it would bring down a shit-storm if she did. Lone wolves can’t bring harm to Pack wolves.

“I can’t leave you here alone, either. You helped me, now it’s my turn to help you. All I ask for is a gun with several mags full of ammo.”

I nodded and walked to the end of the hall as I motioned her to follow me. I didn’t bother telling her to turn around as I punched the code in. If things went to shit with us, I’d change my codes. I opened the door and let her into my gunroom, and she looked around with a chuckle.

“Yeah, looks like you had good intentions but things got away from you.” She nodded toward my pistol wall. “I see a Ruger.”

“It’s a forty-five — I have a Sig nine millimeter that should shoot similar to your SR.” I grasped it, pulled the mag to make sure it was full, peeked in the chamber to be sure it was loaded, and offered it to her with the barrel pointing down. “Safety’s off and it’s hot.”

She grasped it without touching the trigger, did her own peek into the chamber, flipped the safety on as she kept the barrel pointing away from us, and asked, “I don’t suppose you’ll let me have my underwear and jeans, and a good holster?”

“Yeah, but let’s get you used to the gun, first.” Not that she needed much time to get used to it. She knew how to safely handle a weapon, and I think I fell even more in love with her.

I opened another door and her eyes grew big as she realized I had an indoor shooting range.

“Nice! Can I borrow hearing and eye protection?”

S
he knew
her way around the range and the weapon, and after six mags of practice rounds, I led her upstairs and got her bag.

I’d texted Randall, Aaron, and Nathan while she shot, and I was surprised when Aaron let me know he was sending three of my coworkers to patrol my property until the fight.

I dressed as Briana did, and let her know, “A lion, a bear, and pack wolf from Texas are on their way to help keep an eye on things until the fight. I’ll introduce you to them when they arrive, and if you decide you want to leave since I’m not alone — I’ll get you to a safe place.”

“No. I’ll stay, and if you don’t mind, I’d like to watch tomorrow night.”

We were on sensitive territory and I stowed my main weapon on my belt, my first and second backup weapons in my underarm harness, and the last-ditch weapon in the ankle holster as I considered what I wanted to say.

I sat on the bench at the base of my bed and held her gaze as I said, “If you come as a lone wolf, I’ll have to declare you mine. If I declare you mine and then become Alpha…” I shook my head. “I know it’s early, but I like you. My wolf wants you, and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on, but… well, I like you.”

“An Alpha can’t be with a lone wolf. He can be friends with one, but he can’t be romantically involved — especially when he’s navigating all the other Pack politics.”

I nodded.

You
didn’t turn your back on me.”

“Would you be willing to oath to me?”

“Only as your—” She cut herself off and buried her face in her hands before looking up at me in angst. “This is happening too fast! I’d oath to you as your mate, which would pull me into your Pack, but I’m not ready to be
anyone’s
mate!”

I stood and walked to her, pulled her into my arms, and took as much comfort in her warmth as I hoped I gave her with mine. “Okay, so the timing’s fucked but we both like each other. You’ve recently been turned so we can get away with your not oathing to me right away as long as you let everyone know it’s your intention once your connection to Maggie fades. It isn’t ideal, but I think I can sell it.”

“But I’ll be in a lot more danger as a lone wolf.”

I shook my head. “I’ll put you under my protection.”

“You can’t do that for a lone wolf.”

“Then you can’t come tomorrow night.”

“Just try to keep me away.”

My wolf should’ve been pissed at the attitude, but he preened and pranced, happy she wanted to be there. I rolled my eyes and said, “Fine, but you’ll stay close to whoever I put you with. Randall might not be able to protect you as a lone wolf, but I’ll bring someone else in with the mojo to keep you safe.”

B

I
’m not exactly
sure why it was so important I be there to watch the fight. I told myself it was because he’d stayed with me to protect me at Maggie’s, but I knew it was more.

It wasn’t in me to walk away from him. I couldn’t intercede in a fight for Alpha, but I also couldn’t be somewhere else when it happened.

I met the three guards when they arrived, but Patrick and I stayed inside. He took me to a downstairs bedroom — more of a safe room, really — but it let us talk without worry of anyone outside hearing. Also, he had about two dozen monitors hooked up so he could see inside and outside, all around his house, and at a few key points in the woods behind.

We didn’t have sex, though we kissed, cuddled, and talked. His eyes were on the monitor and we both stayed fully dressed. I put my weapon on the side table where I could grab it quickly, and he put the one on his hip on the side table, but kept the other three on.

I must’ve fallen asleep around two in the morning, but he was still awake at three when seven people came across the Chickamauga Creek onto his property. He locked me in the safe room with a note in case I woke, and he left to help his friends.

The sound was muted on all the cameras so I’m not sure what woke me, but it didn’t take me long to see what was going on — an all-out firefight. The fight for Alpha would have to be nude without weapons, but these guys had brought guns to take us out tonight.

I put my borrowed weapon back on my belt, slid the four extra mags in my pockets, and then was pissed when I realized he’d locked me in. Why show me the escape tunnel — in case of fire — and then lock it so I couldn’t come help? His note said it would open if smoke was detected, but I had nothing to make a fire.

Or did I?

I pulled one of the two-way radios off a shelf, opened the battery compartment, and smiled when I saw a double-A battery. I went to the desk and found some papers with a paperclip, grabbed a knife from another shelf, and a huge wad of toilet paper from the bathroom. I dumped the contents of the stainless steel trashcan, put the toilet paper in, and then cut the plastic away from the flat end of the battery. I stuck the paperclip in, set the battery into my nest of TP, waited for the flames, and held the wastebasket up to the smoke alarm.

The tunnel door opened and I filled the trashcan with water from the shower before I left. I wasn’t sure exactly where the tunnel would come out, but I was certain I’d be able to find the fight.

It came out in the woods and I smelled the Pack wolf from Texas. He was close but I couldn’t see him.

“Ranger, it’s me. I’m going to head toward the shooting.”

He stepped behind me and put his mouth to my ear. “Follow me. We’ll come in from the side so we don’t hit any of our people.”

Two dead bodies were about fifteen yards away, and I turned from them and followed the other wolf.

I smelled a lot of blood when we arrived at the firefight. It wasn’t a steady barrage of shots, but one every twenty to thirty seconds, with people firing as they saw motion. Ranger and I went the last forty yards on our bellies, and when he told me to stay put, I stopped. He kept going, and four minutes later he shot one of the bad guys from the side.

A hail of bullets went his way from the others, and I took the opportunity to stand behind a tree and hit another of the bad guys. I got him in the head and he fell to the ground as he tried to
change
but didn’t make it. Not many wolves can survive a shot to the brainstem.

By my count that left three, but I only saw two. Perhaps another had already been taken out?

Another barrage of gunfire, and I dropped to the ground since I didn’t have a good shot, which meant I was surprised by the wolf in half-form who ran up on me. I smelled him before he reached me, but he was going so fast there wasn’t time to do anything. He grabbed me as he ran into the light of the backyard, and I saw the fear in Patrick’s eyes as the half-beast prepared to break my neck.

I’ve never even tried for a half-form, but I understood the concept so I closed my eyes and imagined my wolf’s teeth and ears, her eyes, and the claws of my front hands as I wiggled my toes and fingers. My skin crawled, my bones and muscles shifted, and I fell back on my martial arts training to get away from the asshole while he tried to figure out how to hold onto a
changing
wolf.
