She nestled against him. âRemember the shower?'
He gave her a smouldering look. âHow could I forget? I've relived that in my head every day for the past month.'
âWell, you did more than share a shower with me,' she said. âYou left a memento.'
A light came on in his eyes. âAre you serious? You're pregnant? Really?'
She smiled. âAre you pleased with yourself?'
He grinned back at her. âYeah, pretty much. So I guess this means you're not going to say no to marrying me.'
Ava threw her arms around his neck. âI wouldn't dream of it,' she said and closed her eyes in bliss as his mouth met hers.
