“I love to see your gorgeous hair bounce off your shoulders as you ride me.”

I adjusted myself so that I could ease down on Cree. I instantly froze and couldn’t move at the feeling of him inside me.

“It’s okay, baby. I got you,” he whispered into my back as he gripped the sides of my hips, moving me up and down his shaft. The combination of Cree’s love and his words of encouragement broke me free of my fear.

We had become good at keeping quiet while making love when Annie was sleeping. So instead of our normal growls and moans, we held onto each other tightly, pulling and gripping at each other’s flesh to express our feelings of pleasure.

My orgasm hit me hard, causing me to start crying as I fell into oblivion. I couldn’t move anymore; I was physically and emotionally exhausted from the new memory created with Cree. I felt Cree shudder underneath me, and without saying a word, he pulled me down onto the couch with him and covered us up with a blanket. I lay there nestled in the arms of the man that now completely owned every inch of my body, heart, and soul. I dozed off to sleep while Cree finished watching the football game.

Ready to Beat Ass

March

It was my night to cook dinner. The weather was warming up and spring fever was hitting. I decided to grill burgers tonight and make potato salad. Yep, I could make it all by myself these days. Cree went into town to pick up Annie from dance.

I sat back in my lounger with Olive on my lap and looked out across the backyard at the barren fields that had been plowed and planted. The corn seeds were bedded down in the dirt, waiting for water to grow. They were thirsty and needed one thing to quench their very unique thirst. I felt like that seed buried in the earth. I had been planted in the right spot and watered with love and have grown into a strong, happy woman. I, too, have a very unique thirst, and it was only quenched with two people.

I noticed the cloud dust rolling up the lane and knew it was the two loves of my life coming up the road. I watched as Cree climbed out of the truck and I waited for my Annie Bug to bounce out and run over to me. My favorite part of the day had become when Annie jumped into my arms and shared her sunshine with me. I knew she wasn’t my daughter, but I loved her just like she was. I couldn’t imagine a day without her in my life. Cree walked around the truck holding Annie. I met him halfway.

“Bad day, Milly. She’s going to go up to her room until dinner.”

“Okay. Hey, Annie Bug…I love you lots and lots. Olive and I need you to help set the table when you’re ready. Okay?”

I stretched up on my tippy toes and gave her a kiss.

“I mean it, Annie Bug. I love you!”

I went and checked the burgers, and impatiently waited for Cree to come back down. I picked up Olive and started petting her to tame my nerves.
What in the hell could have happened?
I was ready to go beat somebody’s ass for messing with my girl. I felt a familiar pair of strong arms wrap around my waist as I stood and held Olive. I laid my head back on Cree’s shoulder.

“What the heck happened? I’m ready to beat some ass!”

“Calm down, mother bear! She has a class field trip coming up to the local fish hatchery. The teacher asked about parent volunteers. I guess she raised her hand and told Miss Fallon that her mom and dad would be coming on the field trip, and a boy named PJ told her in front of the whole class that she didn’t have a mom. Then at recess PJ told her she didn’t have a mom because she was too ugly, and that’s why her mom left her.”

“Are you fucking kidding me? Kids talk to each other like that at that age? Did you call his parents? Are you going to beat his ass?”

“Jesus! Milly, he’s in kindergarten.”

“I don’t care! Go beat his ass up now!”

“Okay, honey! I know you love Annie as much as I do, but you can’t go kicking the ass of children. All we can do is show Annie how much we love her, and be here for her. I hurt every day knowing that her mother left her. I try to fill that void in her. That’s why the magic sprinkles were invented.”

“So can’t I beat this kid’s ass? Because I will!”

“No, you’re not beating anyone’s ass. Just cook dinner, and I’ll bust out the sprinkles.”

“You better make that damn dance of yours good tonight, or I’ll beat
your
ass!”

“I love you, Milly!”

“Love you, too! Go practice to some Enrique or something.”

I finished cooking dinner and set the table by myself. The rest of the gang showed up for dinner shortly. I told Cree to invite Greyson because I knew we would have a lot of food. I got pretty damn excited that I finally knew how to cook potato salad and doubled the recipe.

We all had our plates made and were happily chatting about the day’s events, but in the back of my mind, I only thought of my hurt little Annie upstairs. Cree finally appeared on the back patio, holding Annie in his arms. I extended my arms from the chair I was sitting in. He placed her in my arms and cuddled her up just like she was my newborn baby. I kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear, telling her she was beautiful.

I knew Annie was a fan of eating off of other’s plates, so I pointed my finger at mine, letting her know she could eat off of it. She went for a bite of potato salad when we heard Cree yell from the doorway.

“Stop! You can’t take a bite of that, Annie. You need sprinkles—and not any sprinkles, but magic sprinkles.”

On cue, Greyson blared “Sexy and You Know It” from his phone and Cree went to shaking his hips, and splattering sprinkles on our potato salad. He didn’t stop at the potato salad, he showered all of us in sprinkles. He was armed with two bottles and started dropping it like it was hot to the music. He sprinkled the shit out of us!

He jumped on the table for his finale and emptied the two bottles. We were all laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe. This was definitely a PMP moment for the history books. Annie was giggling from her dad’s performance. I leaned down to whisper in her ear.

“I’m going on that field trip with you as your mom, and I plan on paying a 5th grader to beat PJ’s ass!”

Annie looked up at me with a huge grin and hugged me. Cree sat by us and filled his plate with food. The little shit was the only one without crunchy confetti all over in his food. He was a smart little pirate!

“Daddy, thank you for the sprinkles. I wove you. And Milly said she was gonna pay a kid to beat PJ’s ass.”

Oh, shit!
She didn’t just say that to her dad. I just looked at Cree and gave him a hopeful smile. He shook his head and laughed. I leaned over and whispered in his ear,

“Maybe a sprinkle dance for you later, Captain?”

***

“Milly, listen! You are not paying or engaging in any way of any ass-kicking today. Do you hear me?”

“Aye, aye, Captain.”

“I’ll meet you guys for lunch and then stay for the afternoon portion of the field trip. No ass beatings… I mean it.”

“I got it. What about tripping him or a dirty glare?”

“Milly, I’m about to kick your ass.”

“Don’t you mean beat? It’s all about beating ass.”

“Give me a kiss! I don’t stand a chance with you.”

I reached up and kissed Cree while I finished up making our lunches for the field trip. He thought he needed to remind me there would be no beating any ass today. Cree picked me up and sat me on the counter and started checking my pockets for money. I wrapped my legs around him and deepened our kiss.

I felt comfortable wrapping my legs around him while sitting on a sturdy countertop. I had seen Lacey jump up into Jake’s arms and wrap her legs around his waist at the bar. I was always scared shitless to do that—what if the man toppled over, or I broke a leg in the action? It just wasn’t realistic or worth the risk to me.

I was satisfied with sitting on the counter with this delicious man between my legs. Cree grabbed my ass and scooted me closer to him. There wasn’t an inch of space between us. Our faces were pressed together and our lips touching.

“I love you so much!”

“I love you too, baby!”

“I want to stay like this forever.”

“Mmmmm…me too. You are my forever, Milly.”

“You are my now, Cree.”

We woke up Annie together and got her ready for school. Cree dropped both of us off at the front door of the school, and I sent up a silent prayer of thanks that he didn’t check my bra for cash.

The field trip ended up being fabulous. I enjoyed my time with Annie and her friends. Cree joined us for lunch and stayed for the remainder of the day. It was a great day, and I loved spending it with my beautiful Annie Bug.

Annie’s friend Molly invited her over for a sleepover. It was tough on Cree, but he let her go. We sent her with my iPhone, so she could get ahold of us at a moment’s notice. Cree gave her the talk about strangers and behavior at other people’s houses. Annie was used to sitting on the table eating with us, and pretty much whatever her little heart desired. She was always well-behaved, but basically had the run of the house.

“Let’s go eat and have a drink. I’ll call Greyson. You call the girls.”

“It’s a date, baby!”

We crawled into Cree’s truck and used his phone to round up the troops. We went to the local bar that served burgers and fried food. We sat at a little table in the corner. We ordered beers and lots of greasy food.

“I’m ordering us shots!” Lacey announced to the table.

After our dinner and three rounds of vodka, us girls were feeling pretty damn good. Cree wasn’t drinking. He was keeping a very close eye on his phone. Willow started begging us to sing karaoke with her.

“C’mon, you twat waffles! Just one song…pretty please!”

“I suck at singing, just ask Cree. I’m really bad!”

“Who fucking cares! Get your ass up there, Milly!” demanded Lacey.

Those double-crossing, sexy-sexy sluts were dragging my ass up to the stage! Willow chose the song “Ice Ice Baby.” Old school, I liked it, but only hoped I could keep up with the girls. The music started playing and we waited for the words to run across the screen. With the first of the words, Lacey kicked her leg straight up into air and started rapping away. I couldn’t quit laughing at her dumbass move. By the middle of the song, we were giving it all we had. It was pretty badass, or at least we thought we were. With Cree and Greyson dying of laughter from their seats, I was sure we were pretty badass. I was shocked by how damn fun it was to sing on stage, even when you sucked total donkey ass. Again, liquid courage at its best!

“That was fun! Let’s do another.”

The girls agreed with me, but this time I was going to pick the song. I flipped through the big binder of selections and came across the perfect song. It was one of my all-time favorites! The only problem was we needed a little male help for this performance. I went over to the microphone.

“Cree! I need your help up here….pretty please, baby?”

The poor guy was sober as a nun, and I was dragging his ass up on stage to sing karaoke. I knew Cree had a damn good voice, and had plenty of practice from his long hours of tractor driving. It took me a couple minutes of coaxing to get his ass up. When he thought I was going to take my shirt off on stage, he rushed up. He brought Greyson for backup.

“Okay, we’re going to sing ‘Love Shack!’” I declared.

“Right on! This is going to be chicks versus dicks,” Lacey proclaimed

“No, we are singing together, dumbass,” I said.

“Tacos and sausages it is,” Greyson said.

Yep, we were saying this in the microphone. We now had the whole bar’s attention. The song started off and our men sounded amazing! When the girls’ part kicked in, I started rubbing up and down Cree, singing “Glitter on the mattress.” The bar erupted into applause and our debut was over.

More drinks called our names. We made our way back over to the table. One of our chairs were missing, so Cree pulled me onto his lap. He checked his phone and saw he had a text from my number.

Annie: Hi, Daddy

Cree: Is everything okay?

Annie: yup

Cree: u having fun?

Annie: lots

Annie: i want a fone

Cree: no way…love you, be good!

“How is she doing?” I whispered down into his ear. Another group of drunken hussies had taken the karaoke stage.

“Fine! She’s scamming me for a phone now.”

“That’s my girl! Where did my chair go, anyway? Am I smooshing you?”

“No, you’re fine.”

“Hey, Cree, did you see dickhead is here?” shouted Greyson.

I turned to see a familiar man standing at the bar. He came in for coffee every once in a while. Willow gave me the whole story one morning while we cleaned The Shop. He was Cody Malone, and the only man that Cree hated on this Earth. Cree, Cody and Greyson were best friends in high school. They even went to college together to play football. Cody was one of the men that Kyla slept with. He was also the man that Kyla was trying to claim was Annie’s dad. Cree hadn’t talked to Cody since he found him in bed with Kyla.

Now they were both in the same town and in the same line of business. Cody worked with his dad on their farm. There was no doubt that these two hated each other. The atmosphere in the bar immediately shifted. The good time was over. It was apparent that Cody was very drunk. We all agreed without saying a word to leave. I paid the tab and we all headed for the door. Cody just couldn’t help himself.

“Hey, Cree! I wondered who was banging the hot new girl in town. Sure she’ll eventually find her way to my bed!”

Greyson took two steps towards Cody and dropped his ass to the floor. And then we left the bar.
