“I want to see your eyes as I take you, sweetheart.” Chantelle held her breath as he reached downwards and rubbed the head of his erection against her entrance. She moaned when he pressed it inside her. When he pressed deeper, and deeper still, she couldn’t help but wince and turn her head away. She hadn’t anticipated his being this big—it felt like he was stretching her beyond her limits.
“Look at me, Chantelle,” he commanded, holding himself buried to the hilt inside her but still. She reluctantly obeyed. “Have you done this before?”
“No,” she whispered, embarrassed that he had discovered the secret she had tried to hide.
“So why didn’t you tell me, sweetheart?” He kissed her nose softly. “I would taken it slowly…been a bit more gentle.”
“It wasn’t that bad—” she began.
“I don’t want it to be ‘not bad’, I want it to be good,” he said with a touch of impatience. He withdrew slowly and thrust carefully back inside her. Her hips lifted of their own accord, rising to meet his forward thrust as he did it again and again. “I want it to be memorable.”
“I won’t never forget this, trust me,” she promised, wrapping her legs around his trim hips as the last of the stretching ache disappeared, leaving only pleasure in its wake.

“What about my car?” she protested half an hour later as he bundled her into the back of his limousine.
“That rust bucket is only fit for the scrap heap. I’m going to take you to choose another one in the morning.”
“I don’t need a new car!” This was getting out of hand fast! “Dominic, please be sensible. I don’t have off-road parking—I’ll probably wake up to find the car gone the next day.”
“Okay, at least let my mechanic look it over,” he conceded running his fingers through his hair, something she noticed he did when he was thoroughly frustrated. “I want you and your family out of that neighborhood as soon as possible!”
“Dominic, you can’t come into my life and just make changes to please yourself. Shawn and the girls go to school locally, they can’t be uprooted and transplanted somewhere else.”
“I’m sorry,” he pulled her closer and kissed the top of her head. “East London has such a bad reputation, I guess I overreacted at the thought of you and your sisters living there. Even Shawn’s not safe with all the postcode wars going on.”
“I know you mean well. I worry just as much about them, but they have been safe so far and I pray they will be for at least another year. Cerise is doing her GCSEs next year. I don’t want to move her mid-year, but I’m already planning on getting her into a good sixth form college and to move, if I can afford to, so that Charmine can get into a better primary school. Shawn’s will off to university, so I don’t have to worry about him. They all have friends in the area they have grown up with. If we move they will have to make new ones. Cerise will find that tough because she’s shy. At sixth form college the students come from various schools, so she won’t be the only one who’s new.”
Dominic nodded in understanding and enquired, “The house has four bedrooms?”
“Three. I share with Cerise and Charmine.”
“Let me scout around for a larger property in the area then until you’re able to move.”
“Thank you.” She didn’t mind him doing that. The house was council property and the rent was very affordable, but with her generous new salary she could afford to pay a little more now, but she lacked credit history having never owned a credit card, taken out a loan or bought anything on hire purchase.
Sharing a room with a sister who was growing up fast and starting to borrow her clothes wasn’t ideal, neither was opening her eyes first thing in the morning and seeing a picture of the
Little Mermaid
painted on the opposite wall. Charmine also packed quite a snore for a girl her age.

Chantelle smiled as the mobile phone beneath her pillow vibrated.
Dominic! He had sent her several scorching texts on his way home the night before. She hadn’t been shy with her replies.
I need you now.
L
He’d texted.
You know I can’t.
J
She replied.
Mum almost caught me last night!
It wasn’t that she had to answer to her mother, but alcohol seemed to have eroded her mother’s sense of decorum. If she knew that Chantelle had slept with Dominic, she couldn’t be trusted not to mention it at an inappropriate moment. Chantelle preferred that her sisters knew nothing—at least for the moment. As far as they were aware she’d met Dominic a week ago and she would hate for them to think it was okay to sleep with a man on such short acquaintance. They had a bad enough example in their mother.
Tell her you have to go into the office.
I don’t want to lie.
It won’t be a lie. I’ll meet you there at ten.
Chantelle bit her lip as she tried to decide what to do. She’d tried caressing herself under the covers before, but it had been restrictive with her sisters fast asleep on the double bunk on the opposite side of the room. It hadn’t been satisfying and she’d given up thinking that she was perhaps just not a sexual person. Dominic had blown that theory out the window when he had turned her on as easily as a light switch last night. The man’s tongue was lethal and after the initial discomfort, his thickness had created such a sweet pain she’d kept moaning his name as he had given her the full length of it with each thrust. Having to cut her pleasure short to get home at a respectable hour had been a pain in the ass.
Now he was offering her a chance to experience it all again.
How could she refuse?
Okay
, she quickly typed.
See you there.
Freshly showered, wearing glasses instead of contact lens and dressed in a simple ecru knit dress under a warm dark brown jacket with her hair tucked into a stylish brown suede cap, Chantelle felt a little nervous as she exited St Paul’s Station and headed towards the office. This was her usual casual look and an effective disguise if another work colleague spotted her going up to Dominic’s office, but she wasn’t sure that he would like the outfit.
The door at the side of the building which led to the private lift that went straight up to Dominic’s office opened as she approached.
Dominic stood dressed in a pristine white polo shirt, faded blue jeans and a pair of casual, stylish black Italian leather shoes.
He pulled her inside quickly and kicked the door shut.
“I thought you’d never get here!” he growled bending his head and capturing her lips fiercely.
“You said ten,” she reminded him when he finally let her breathe again. “I got here a minute to.”
“I’ve been here since nine fifteen wearing out the carpet in my office.” He held her hand as he preceded her into the lift and stabbed at the ‘up’ button with an impatient finger. Then he turned and his wrapped arms around her from behind and nibbled on her neck. His hardness pressed into her like a bar of steel. “I’ve been like this since you left me last night!”
“Isn’t that dangerous?” she asked, playfully rubbing her behind against the thick ridge.
“Yes…for you,” he threatened.
Chantelle felt a thrill of fear and excitement as he hustled her quickly through his PA’s empty office and into his. The heady scent of roses hit her nostrils before she caught sight of the two large bouquets of roses adorning a low table next to the large sofa and a bottle of champagne chilling in a bucket of ice.
“When did you do all this?”
“About an hour ago,” he replied. “I brought the champagne. My florist delivered the roses.”
“Your florist?” Chantelle asked, her mood suddenly deflating. He must order flowers for dozens of women on a regular basis.
“My mother’s an artist and loves simple, beautiful things. I send her a bouquet of flowers twice a week. She protests the expense, but I know she enjoys them.”
“That’s so sweet.”
“I’m
not
sweet!” he growled fiercely, grasping her bottom and lifting her bodily as he marched to his desk and placed her on it. She wrapped her legs around his hips and shook out her Sisterlocks when he pulled the cap off her head. Running his fingers through the tiny strands, he complimented, “These are beautiful.”
“Thanks.” Then she mischievously ran her fingers through his lustrous black hair and said, “And so are your baby curls.”
“You’re asking for trouble,” he warned, stripping her coat off and slipping her high-heeled pumps. They barely made a sound as they hit the thickly-padded carpet.
“I can handle it,” she said confidently.
“I hope so.”
His response sent a tiny thrill of fear through her, but they had gotten past the awkward first time—she had nothing to worry about now.
He reached behind her and picked up a slender white box which she hadn’t noticed. The name of the jewelers discreetly embossed on the side was synonymous with style and elegance…and exclusivity. Viewing was reputedly by appointment only.
The diamond-encrusted panther almost blinded Chantelle as Dominic carefully undid the clasp of the slender platinum chain.
“A gift for the gift you gave me last night.”
Chantelle, awed by the beauty of the craftsmanship of the animal captured in full flight, finally found her voice and objected as he slid it around her neck, “But—”
“I called and arranged an extra early appointment this morning. Don’t let the jeweler’s hard work in helping me find just the perfect pendant be all for nothing.”
Chantelle felt torn as he slipped the shoulder strap of her dress down and freed her breast, then did the same for the other—she hadn’t worn a bra. The jewelry was exquisite and would be the first non-costume piece she owned, but should she accept it from him after sleeping with him? It wasn’t money, but the whole business smacked of—
“I also got the perfect clamps for these.” He twisted her nipple firmly, interrupting her thoughts and making her gasp as sensations flooded her entire body. “But first I’m going to shave you.”
“Shave me?”
“You haven’t shaved before?”
“No. I trim.” She had always worried about getting unsightly razor bumps.
“Good.” He pushed the dress and her thong downwards. She stepped out of them as they pooled at her feet. “If you’ve never shaved before, you will feel everything more intensely.”
It was bizarre to have him lead her by the hand, as naked as the day she was born, while he was still fully clothed.
At least I have my glasses on
, she thought in amusement.
And his gift.
She remembered belatedly.
He’d already laid a large, fluffy, white towel on the marble countertop and had a new razor, shaving cream and lotion to hand.
“Wow! Talk about being prepared!” She tried to pull her hand free of his. “How often do you do this?”
“Stop it!” He commanded, tightening his grip and holding her captive. “I flew all the way to the Bahamas last week to conclude some business and end my relationship with the woman I was seeing there. I couldn’t even give her one last fuck because all I could think of was you!”
