There was a long pause and the Entity said, “It would require sending forces to remove the threat.”
“Are you sure?”
“That is the only logical answer given the conditions you stated in the question.”
“Some of your species are currently in your galaxy building warships and weapons to attack my galaxy. What should we do about this situation? Should we do as you just stated and come here and remove the threat?”
“Do you think you could do it?”
“They’re here!” The Entity was silent and then it heard, “The members of your species that are not taking part in their actions will be put in great danger due to their reckless behavior. I just thought you might want to think about that. You seem like a rational being.”
“They will be stopped and will not be allowed to leave.”
“Thank you. I was hoping the two of us could work out our differences without resorting to a show of force.”
“Are you the ones that forced them to come back?”
“Yes.”
“They will not come back to cause you problems.”
“If you don’t mind my asking, what about that species of Telepaths that was assisting them?”
“They have been asked to leave. The one you just killed decided to kill one more time before it departed. It showed poor judgment and should have left.”
“You think? Anyway, thank you again and we will also respect your privacy and not send another ship here.”
“I suspect you don’t need them to see us.”
“Why thank you again for the compliment. Listen to me gushing thanks. Long life and health to you and your species.” There was a pause and the Entity heard, “I will know if they don’t keep the bargain we’ve made.”
The Entity felt the being disappear and felt huge fear. It knew the being was just a child. What was it going to be like as an adult? It ordered the ones that came back to be executed. It couldn’t risk their doing something really stupid.

“Dad, I’m sorry I interrupted.”
“Don’t be. You saved my life.”
“That’s why I did it.”
“I’m coming home Hensel. It’s time I gave your mother the time and love she deserves.”
“I’m not going to tell her. You should be the one that brings this joyous news.”
“I appreciate it.” Hengel activated the computer and pressed the blue button. The episode with the vampire was erased from his memory and he only remembered a routine scouting mission. He didn’t realize that it was Hensel who made him shutdown the computer. It was also unaware of what happened and no record existed.
Hensel heard his sister agree that shutting down the computer was an excellent idea. She was the one that sensed that Vampire stalking their Dad. She was going to be more talented than he. Oh well, he was used to being bossed around by his mother. He should be used to two doing it by the time she was born. She was already telling him he had better not let their mother know about their father coming home. He sighed and continued folding clothes.
