After her husband Brandon threw her out of their home she had no place to go. Amanda’s parents wouldn’t even talk to her , so Julie sent Amanda on a month long South Pacific vacation assuring her that when she returned everything would be back to normal.

When Amanda arrived back in Bloomfield Hills, Julie informed her that their father had forbidden any kind of contact with Amanda. Jack made it clear to Julie that if he found out she was in contact with her sister he would cut off Julie’s trust fund. This meant Conner’s too and any other children they might have with her doctor husband, David.  His job made for a nice lifestyle, but having the trust fund provided extra security for their family. Luckily, Julie managed to convince their father to let Amanda keep the remaining funds in her trust to live on. Her sister also told her to strap in because Brandon was serving her with divorce papers immediately.

When Amanda’s trust fund had completely run out last September Julie had loaned her $5,000. However, Amanda blew through that money quickly, which is why she finally had to break down and get a mall job last November.

The private jet Vince chartered for them this evening was very roomy and bright, far more spacious than Brandon’s family’s G200, which only seated nine. Upon entering the plane there were two sections for passengers to sit on either side of the aisle. To the left there was a white couch, with white, grey and black throw pillows on each end. Walking down the aisle on the right stood a large black marble dining table with four oversized white chairs. To the left of the table across the aisle sat another long white couch with grey and black throw pillows and a cozy grey blanket gently placed over the armrest. There was a wet bar at the back, behind the dining area with all kinds of alcohol, bottled water and pop. The carpeting was a chevron print of charcoal grey and black, except for a few glossy black and chrome interior finishes, much of the cabin interior was a crisp white.

“We’re almost to the restaurant, Mr. Everett,” the driver announced.

“Very good, James. I will call you when we are ready to be picked up.”

  “As you wish, Mr. Everett.”

The car pulled up to the front of La Bonne where there were a few limos, elegant sedans and sleek sports cars waiting to be parked by the valet service. James parked in the front near the valet stand and came around to open Vince’s door. Exiting the car Amanda felt like a celebrity. She remembered this feeling, and she needed tonight to go well. This was the life she was meant to have. Without saying a word, Vince offered Amanda his right arm, and she graciously wrapped her arm around his as they walked to the door.

Monday morning came way too early for Amanda, who was still reeling from her weekend trip to New York City.  She and Vince had returned late Sunday afternoon, and while Amanda had plenty of sleep she couldn’t seem to motivate herself for work. Maybe because today was Memorial Day and she would rather be going to a party on the lake or a barbeque with friends. Traipsing to the bathroom and rubbing her eyes, she turned on the shower letting the steam from the hot water quickly fill her bathroom. As the mirror began to fog up, she stepped into the shower as the hot water cascaded over her shoulders. She tilted her head up to the streaming water and it gently sprayed her face. Now she was awake.

“Knock, knock,” Daniel said as he entered the bathroom. “Hey sweetie, I got you a vanilla latte from Starbucks.”

“Oh thanks Daniel. That was awfully nice of you. So you finally made it home this morning, huh?”

Amanda was rinsing the shampoo out of her hair while Daniel yammered on about meeting the perfect man while he was out clubbing Saturday evening. Amanda could not remember the last time she talked to Daniel. He was not at their condo when she arrived home. She had gone to bed early but had woken up in the middle of the night for a drink of water and Daniel was not in his bedroom.

“Girl, so you know my weekend was pretty fun. How was yours?”

“It was nice. I went out with a friend Saturday night, and we had dinner and drinks. I ended up staying the night.”

Amanda decided she was not ready to share anything too personal about Vince with Daniel yet.

“What time do you have to be at work Amanda?”

“I’m opening today, so I’ve got to be there before eight. I have to prep and check the payroll numbers.”

Amanda started to shave, allowing the conditioner in her hair to stay for three minutes before rinsing it out.

“I worked yesterday and then went to my parent’s house for dinner. My sister was there, and we ended up talking and drinking on the deck until about one in the morning. I was so tired. She insisted I stay the night, so I did.”

  “Sounds like a relaxing evening.”

“It was, definitely. Well, I will let you get ready. Have a good day, girl.”

Daniel exited the bathroom. Amanda pulled back the shower curtain grabbing her towel and gently patting her arms and legs dry. After taking a drink of her coffee, she let out a huge sigh and wrapped her hair neatly in the towel. Crossing to her room she opened the dresser, pulled on her panties and then her bra. A text from Vince popped up on her phone:

  Wow!
He was taking her to the Amway Grand Plaza, one of the best hotels in Grand Rapids. Her stomach did backflips, front handsprings and a few round-offs upon reading the message. Reaching for the happy pills in her medicine cabinet, she thought about taking one and washing it down with her latte. She withdrew her grip from the bottle muttering, “Not today, Amanda. You don’t need the pills today.”

Chapter Fourteen:

Emily

The month of June was whizzing by. Emily sat at her desk checking email when she noticed she had to be at a meeting in fifteen minutes. This was not a daily or weekly scheduled meeting, Emily was anxious to know what it was about, especially when she saw Ethan was going to be there as well.

Emily and Ethan had been quietly dating for a few weeks. No one at the office seemed to have a clue about their relationship, even though they had a hard time keeping their hands off each other at work. Stealing kisses in the break room, rounding third base in the supply closet where they were nearly discovered by Susan. Then there was the heated make out session on Ethan’s leather sofa in his office last Friday during lunch, which left her in a sexually frustrated haze for the remainder of the day. Thankfully for Emily, Ethan was able to relieve her of her frustrations later that evening.

Emily’s office phone rang sweeping her back to reality. She hit speaker phone, “Hello, this is Emily Greene.” There was no answer, and Emily said hello again. Still, there was no answer from the other end of the phone. Emily tried once more to say hello when she heard a click.
Must have been a poor connection, they’ll call back.

Gathering her items she headed for the bank of elevators. Today’s meeting was in the Executive Conference room upstairs. Her cellphone began to buzz. It was one of the printing companies she had contacted for a price quote regarding the sales brochures.

  “Hello, this is Emily Greene.”

Emily walked slowly up the stairs to the conference room instead of taking the elevator, listening intently to Frank from Cambria Printing give her details regarding the order. Ending her call as she entered the conference room, Emily stood silently for a moment staring out the window, admiring the white fluffy clouds against the bright blue late afternoon sky.

Suddenly, Emily felt the air shift. She turned around and noticed Ethan standing behind her, his mouth twisted into a devilish grin. He looked completely delicious in his grey suit and silk blue tie.

“Ethan, nice to see you today,” she said sweetly while nodding at him. “What are you smiling about?” Emily asked as she tried to move past him but was stopped immediately. The touch of Ethan’s grip on her narrow waist caused Emily’s body to tingle all over.

“The sight of you in this black skirt with red pumps is provoking enticing thoughts,” he said slyly reaching for her hair and sweeping one of her long tendrils off her cheek. Ethan slowly walked backwards and hit the button on the wall, which instantly changed the glass windows that overlooked the alcove from transparent to opaque. Emily swallowed the lump in her throat as she heard the door look—panic swept through her.

“Ethan…what are you doing? We have a meeting in five minutes,” she managed to croak out.

Ethan stood in front of Emily replying, “You and I have a meeting in here for the next thirty minutes, and then the rest of the executives will be in. I told Clark that you and I needed some time to bang out a few issues…with the Northwest Territory sales infographics.”

Emily nearly lost her balance hearing the words tumble from Ethan’s lips. His hand slid down the curve of her hip to the hemline of her skirt just above her knee, pushing it up slightly to reveal the top of her stockings. Emily was unable to move. She was frozen.

“Garters, Emily?” he groaned. “You’re killing me.”

Ethan trailed soft kisses from the base of her neck to the curve of her jaw. Emily felt a surge of electricity hit her stomach. That spark jolted her body, whizzing her back to life. Moving her hands up to his neck, Emily wrapped her arms around Ethan as her fingers fisted his hair. Ethan proceeded to graze his fingertips over her bare flesh. Covering her mouth with his, Emily’s lips parted, and Ethan brushed his tongue to hers moving his hand to the swell of her bottom, cupping it firmly. Gripping Emily tightly, he lifted her gently onto the conference table. Ethan shrugged out of his jacket and rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt as Emily loosened his tie.

Ethan traced his thumb over the top of Emily’s garters. Carefully he unclipped each one, allowing him to slide her panties down her legs and over her heels. Emily’s breathing escalated as she wondered what Ethan had planned for her. She tried to close her legs but Ethan stopped her, holding her knees apart with one hand. He gently clipped her garters back to the top of her stockings.

“Now,” he said firmly while holding her green silk panties in front of her face. “These now belong to me, Miss Greene. You can have them back at the end of the day if you do as I say. Do you understand?”

“I see, Mr. Carlson,” she replied in a low voice. “So, you like to play games?”

Ethan nodded and replied, “We’re going to play lots of games, Miss Greene, and I promise you will like it too. Please continue to address me as Mr. Carlson for the remainder of the day.”

Emily swallowed hard at the realization that Ethan Carlson was a little kinky. Reaching into his jacket pocket, Ethan produced a black silk bag that contained two silver balls the size of marbles.
What the fuck are these things?

“Miss Greene, these are Ben Wa Balls. Do you know what they are used for?”

Emily shook her head, replying softly, “No.”

“Put them in your hands and feel them,” he instructed.

Emily did as she was told, feeling the cool glass on her palms and noting their weight.

“Stand up, Miss Greene,” he ordered as he dropped to his knees in front of her.

Emily’s breathing became labored as she felt Ethan’s hot breath on her thighs. He traced his fingers on the backs of her knees and up and down her long sculpted legs. Her heart pounded in her chest. Sweat began to bead at the back of her neck. Emily knew the door was securely locked, but nervous excitement curled through her body thinking they might be caught.
