“Christ, I want you to fuck me,” Paul groaned, voicing his thoughts out loud. He liked this, but having Danny on top of him, fucking him, owning him completely, was euphoric in comparison. “But I don’t deserve it. I know I don’t deserve it.”

“No, you really don’t,” Danny agreed. He pulled away from Paul, sucking on two of his fingers. “I should never fuck you again after all this drama.”

“I’m sorry.” Paul’s back bowed when Danny teased his ass with his fingers, pushing them slowly past the tight ring of muscle. He gasped, his eyes rolling back when Danny found the bundle of nerves that set off every pleasure sensor Paul had. Forget the joys of submission; this feeling alone was worth getting fucked for. “God, what do you want?” he panted, willing to do anything to have Danny fuck him. “I’ll do whatever you want.”

Danny actually chuckled, leaning forward to take Paul’s cock in his mouth, making his body jerk from the dual pleasure. He sucked him, taking him deeply before he released his cock with a soft pop and said, “You’re quite the slut, aren’t you? A real whore for getting fucked.”

Paul groaned, threading his fingers though his own hair, pulling the strands painfully as he fisted his cock tighter. “Yup,” he agreed, now mindless with Danny not only making him ache, but playing to his submissiveness by talking dirty. The last orgasm was long forgotten as the tight coil of desire made him desperate for release. “Please, Danny Boy, I’ll make it up to you. I’ll make all of it up to you, just please fuck me. I need it.”

“I want something now,” Danny bartered, fingering Paul’s ass, leaving him writhing in desperation. “Give it to me and I’ll fuck you.”

Paul bit hard at his bottom lip, tasting blood, but he nodded in approval. He turned to look at the closet door once more, pressing his cheek against the cool pillow as he searched for sanity. His chest heaved from the pleasure and the wild need for more.

Paul knew he should hold back instead of revealing what a deeply sexual person he could be. He was completely weak for dark, dirty sex, sprawled out and begging, willing to do anything to be fucked by his best friend. It was a very good thing Paul had never been prideful, for if he had, Danny would have obliterated it completely.

“I wanna own you, Paul Guy,” Danny said, moving over Paul like a predator while still fingering his ass. “I want you to be mine.”

Paul paused, turning back to look at Danny in surprise. He released the tight hold his teeth had on his lip to choke out one word, his heart aching as he said it. “Evie.”

“Nope,” Danny said, his voice sharp and steely, leaving no room for complaint. “You have to belong to me, not her—not anymore. She’s gone. She can’t protect you.”

“But,” Paul started, fuzzy around the edges from the combination of desire and sickness that still left him feeling muddled. “I promised I’d love her forever.”

“I’m not asking you to stop loving her,” Danny said, some of the fire seeping out of his voice as a look of pain crossed his handsome face. “This isn’t about love. I wanna own your body. I wanna own your pleasure. It’s mine and only mine. I don’t want you to even
think
about fucking someone else without asking me.”

“Okay,” Paul agreed. Knowing he was free to love Eve, it seemed like more than a fair deal. He would have given Danny his soul in the bargain if he had asked. “My pleasure’s yours. I want you to have it.”

“That means pain too,” Danny said, raising his eyebrows in warning. “No one can hurt you without my permission.”

Paul’s back hurt so nicely it felt as if the enjoyment of it would stretch out for an eternity. It was easy to give up when the pain couldn’t get more intense than it already was. “Okay.” He thrust against Danny’s hand, trying to take his fingers deeper as he closed his eyes and imagined they were Danny’s cock. “No pain, sure.”

“You can’t hurt yourself either.”

“I won’t. I wouldn’t,” Paul groaned, squeezing his eyes shut tighter, frustration welling up in him. It seemed as if this conversation was going on forever. “Fuck, please, Danny Boy. I need it. I need you.”

Paul gasped at how quickly Danny surged forward, tangling his fingers in Paul’s hair and jerking his head back. He kissed him brutally, forcing his tongue past his lips, pushing him deeper into the mattress. “Get the lube,” Danny panted into his mouth, making it obvious he’d been desperate too. He was just better at hiding it, the pride Paul would never have playing to Danny’s favor. “It’s hiding by the book.”

Paul reached up, running his hand blindly along the space between the wall and the mattress until his fingers closed around the small plastic bottle. “I don’t really like this stuff. We could do it without—”

“We’re using lube,” Danny growled in response, pulling up to unbutton and unzip the jeans he’d slept in, struggling to push them past his hips. He grabbed Paul’s arm, seizing the lube in a lightning-fast move. His hands shook as he poured a liberal amount into his palm and then spread it over the length of his cock. He fell forward, his eyes closing heavily from his own ministrations as he stroked a few more times than needed to slick himself up. “I shoulda had you suck me off first. I’m not gonna last long. I haven’t come in a long time either. Days and days.”

“We could do it twice,” Paul offered breathlessly. “You wanna do that?”

“Fuck yes. I wanna pound into you until neither of us can walk,” Danny groaned, falling back over Paul heavily. He hooked an arm under one of Paul’s legs, opening him wide as he shifted his hips, his cock brushing against Paul’s ass that actually clenched in anticipation of being fucked. “Say you’re mine.”

“I’m yours,” Paul promised as Danny pushed into him, his thick cock stretching him, the sting of it wonderfully painful. He groaned, arching his back, forcing Danny deeper as he surrendered to the ecstasy of pleasure and pain colliding in a feral rush of desire. “Fuck.”

Paul’s hands flattened against the mattress, his fingers tangling in the sheets while Danny fucked him hard and fast. He forgot everything but the feel of Danny’s weight over him, the erotic slap of skin against skin, and the pleasure of a cock sliding in and out of his ass. He was surrounded by Danny, his scent, his sweat-slicked body over his, the taste of his kiss with the tang of Paul’s cum still on his tongue.

“I’m gonna come,” Danny growled, fucking Paul harder, his cock brushing against Paul’s prostate with every powerful thrust. “Shit.”

Paul wanted to reach between their straining bodies and stroke himself until he came all over his stomach, to climax with Danny when he tensed with bliss, but he didn’t. Even completely out of his mind with lust, he wanted permission, needed to know the rules and wouldn’t risk breaking them in the interim.

Instead he fought the blinding hunger to look up at Danny, watching the joy of release etch itself over his darkly beautiful features. Seeing Danny’s pleasure was every bit as amazing as watching Eve come and Paul had truly believed he’d never find that sort of untamed magnificence again.

He forgot his desire to follow the rules, reaching up to run his fingers through Danny’s silky hair. Unable to resist, he learned forward, swallowing Danny’s cry of ecstasy as he kissed him. Wanting to prolong Danny’s pleasure for as long as possible, Paul gripped his hard, muscled ass with his other hand, holding Danny tightly to him as his hips pumped to the rhythm of his release.

When the tension in Danny’s body eased, he released Paul’s lips to lay heavily over him. The thrust of his cock became slow and slick and Paul caught his laziness as if it were contagious. What was once frantic and wild became peculiar, sex-hazed with fever and exhaustion, the heavy pull of tension making their muscles uncooperative.

Danny’s cock never went soft, but it took a while to get fully hard again with the slow rocking of his hips against Paul as they kissed. The lazy slide of tongues into welcoming mouths swallowing low groans.

They fucked like that for what felt like forever, staying connected, the tension building so slowly it was hard to notice as it grew into a raging inferno. They had become too accustomed to the flame of pleasure, addicted to the feeling of being tangled up in each other. It kept them suspended in a strange place that was hard to indentify as heaven or hell, because the pleasure burned so hot it scalded even Paul. When it did finally reach a crescendo that couldn’t be denied, they were both humbled in the face of it.

The pleasure rocked Paul to his core, washing over him in waves as if it was being drawn out of him from a deeper place than he had tapped before. He clung to Danny shamelessly, his fingers digging into his shoulders, his cock pulsing as hot spurts of cum covered his stomach and chest to lay sticky and forgotten between them.

Danny came just as violently, crying out into the curve of Paul’s neck with every hard, uncontrollable thrust. He held onto Paul’s biceps like a lifeline, his grip bruising. His entire body shook long after the fire smoldered and then died down to a dim ember of something neither of them seemed to have a name for.

“I’m forgetting something,” Danny whispered against Paul’s collarbone as he lay over him, seeming to be completely devoid of strength.

Paul snorted, his eyes closing heavily. “Just one thing? I couldn’t tell you my own name right now.”

Paul felt Danny’s smile against his skin, but that was the end of conversation for either of them. Paul drifted back to sleep in the same temperate way he came out of it, making it hard to tell what was a dream and what was reality.

Either way, Danny was with him, and Paul was happy.

Chapter Seven

The ring was annoying, humming in the back of his mind. If Danny could swat it away he would, but thoughts starting rushing through his head. It could be his mama. It could be Jason. It could be Melissa or Denise.

Danny rolled off Paul, his entire body heavy with sleep, and landed unceremoniously on the floor. “What the—” He struggled to sit up, seeing he had somehow managed to sleep until morning with his jeans pushed past his ass. The phone didn’t seem to give a shit that Danny was having a very hard time waking up and an even harder time pulling himself together. He crawled on the floor, tugging his jeans as he reached for his phone plugged into the outlet in the corner. Too tired to look at the caller ID, he answered it blindly. “’Lo?”

“Danny?”

“Jesus.” Danny flopped onto his back on the floor, his eyes closing heavily as he held the phone to his ear. “I’m sleeping, man.”

“It’s past noon.”

“So what?” Danny growled at him, irritation starting to work its way up past the sleep fog. “If someone doesn’t answer the phone, that means they’re busy. You don’t keep calling like a spaz. What the fuck do you want, Tony? Is someone dead? Someone better be fucking dead for dragging my ass out of bed. You know what, even then, why would I give a shit if someone you know’s dead? Probably be a good thing.”

“Maybe I should call back.”

Danny rolled his eyes, craning his head to spot his cigarettes. Finding them within arm’s reach, he grabbed them and opened the pack. Pulling his lighter out of it, he put a cigarette between his lips. “Just tell me what you called for,” he mumbled, lighting his cigarette and resting the pack and lighter on his bare chest.

“I was just curious if you needed extra cash.”

“You woke me up for that?” Danny blew smoke toward the ceiling. “Are you fucking kidding me?”

“I’ll call back,” Tony said, his voice hesitant. “You’re obviously in a shit mood.”

“I quit, Tony, remember?”

“You were serious about that?”

“Goodbye,” Danny said, snapping his phone shut and tossing it aside.

He lay there smoking his cigarette, his jeans still unzipped and unbuttoned. He blinked, trying to wake up. It was only his need for an ashtray that finally had him rolling over to look for it. Finding Paul still sprawled out on his back, rubbing a hand over his face as he also fought to wake up, reminded Danny he hadn’t been smoking in the bedroom because of Paul’s back.

“Shit,” he groaned, struggling to get up, putting the cigarette between his lips as he zipped up his jeans and walked out of the bedroom.

He found his ashtray on the kitchen table and decided that since he made it all the way to the kitchen, he might as well make coffee. It wasn’t until the scent of brewing coffee hit him that Danny started to wake up fully enough to remember his and Paul’s interlude in the middle of the night.

He put out his cigarette, looking down at himself, feeling the sweaty, sticky sensation of dried sex on him. “I forgot a condom again,” he mumbled, shaking his head and reeling over Paul’s effect on him. He’d never been with someone who shut down his brain to the point he hardly recognized himself in the morning. “What the fuck is wrong with me?”

“Are you talking to yourself?”

“What’re you doing up?” Danny snapped, glaring at Paul, who walked into the kitchen in a pair of boxer shorts as if he hadn’t just been one step away from death’s door all weekend. “Go back to bed.”

“Is it Monday?” Paul asked, staring at the clock in the kitchen with wide eyes. “Did I sleep past noon on Monday?”

Danny shrugged. “So what?”

“I gotta go.” Paul turned around and looking dazed, as if he would find his clothes on Danny’s kitchen floor. “I got school today.”

Danny gave Paul a look, trying to convey just how crazy that was. “
No way
are you going to school.”

“I’ve got to go to school,” Paul said slowly. “I got classes. I got practice after. I gotta go.”

“I called your coach on Saturday and told him you have a serious viral illness,” Danny said with a snort of laughter. “He does
not
want you at practice.”

“That wasn’t cool,” Paul said, glaring at him in disbelief. “You can’t just call my coach and tell him shit like that.”

“I think I can, and in case you’ve missed it, that wasn’t bullshit. You’ve had a fever for three days,” Danny said and then laughed once more. “You’ve got a note from the doctor and everything. You wanna see it?”

“Fuck off.” Paul turned around to walk back toward the hallway. “This sucks. I can’t miss class. I’ll be a fucking failure. Missing practice. I’ve never missed a practice. Not once in my entire life. I’ll let the whole team down, weakest link. ”
