“Kiss me,” he shakes his head and then he smirks. I smile and
wait patiently for his lips. He clasps his hand onto the back of my
head and jerks me forward so that our faces are only an inch apart.
His cool breath is blowing on my face and my lips begin to shake
with excitement. He leans in towards me, pausing before our lips
touch.

“You’re going to be the death of me, Miss Rose.”
