Chapter 26

THE DISAPPOINTMENT

Mrs. Fatima opened the door of her house and a man in social clothing, raised his hand up, showing a black wallet with his ID. Suddenly the man's deep voice said.

"Civil Police, ma'am" - under the hand. - "We're looking for Mr. Juan Carlos Volkovis"

The woman's eyes widened. - "My son. What went wrong?"

Minutes later, the young man left his home in the company of the police. The day was cold, he used on a black leather jacket, jeans and sneakers. The boy begged his mother not to accompany him to the police station. John's father was not home at the time. He had traveled for business.

Regretfully, he was escorted by civilian police to the vehicle. But the police took the gun hanging on the wall of the room of Juan. The special model machine gun.

Moments later, he was sitting in a chair at a table. On the other side he sat a, paunchy bald delegate. The man scratched his chin and began.

"You're being charged with murder”

"Homicide?"

John's eyes widened. He looked up and then lowered his head. The delegate continued.

"You being accused of killing a man named Walter Vitera"

Juan Carlos closed his eyes. The young man thought he was being unjustly accused. After all, he had not killed anyone in his life, only in video games.

Then the officer took out some brown paper and looked in the direction of Juan Carlos, saying.

"The young lady Amelia asked me to give you this. She said she did not want to see or painted gold"

Juan dropped his blue eyes toward the object of gold in the hand of delegate and saw chain and the medal he had given his girlfriend, containing the initials of their names, "JC & A '.

After a few minutes of finally witnessing Juan Carlos was released and left the police station, completely devastated.

The delegate said he would need a good lawyer for him to prove his innocence. The risk of being convicted after trial and ruin his life and the lives of their parents.

Towards the pedestrian sidewalk, the accused boy put his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket and walked with difficulty. His legs were stiff, he was still very upset and disappointed with everything that had happened that morning.

He looked up and imagined that Amelia could not have hurt him that way. She was being unfair to him, his morals, order her free will.

The child could lose their freedom for a while, if judged as guilty of a crime that he was sure he did not commit.

He was innocent ...

Chapter 27

THE LAST MEETING

That same day, in the evening, Amelia felt the need to return to the grove she and Juan used to go always together. Before long, the young woman sat next to a tall tree. She began to look at the green water lake. She was suffering a lot about the whole situation. She did not know where to start her life without Juan Carlos and much worse than that, she did not know how to deal with the idea that she knew she still loved the person who was the sole suspected of killing her father.

The cold murderer who brought the person she loved most in her life. She always clung to her father. Walter had always been a good father, whatever his other faults.

Looking down, Amelia saw the skirt of her white dress. For a moment, he thought her life could be at peace as the color of her dress. So white and serene in your body.

Then he sighed and looked up, tears wanted to lose her eyes. She was really devastated. Her heart was broken, broken, torn.

Within moments, her eyes were anesthetized when she heard a voice telling her bitterly.

"No, you could not have done this to me!

She looked at the tree behind her and saw someone from his back. Juan Carlos was hiding behind the tree. As she spoke, her sad eyes looking a definite direction. The boy could not look at the image of his ex-girlfriend sitting on the floor.

"You have wronged me. Accusing me of a crime I did not commit"

It frightened by the unexpected presence of the young Amelia got up and tried to keep her distance. As he spoke, she looked at the picture with fear. She figured he could kill her too. After all, the place was lonely and could do that.

"You ruined our love!"

He left the tree and walked forward. Stopping at her. Confused, Amelia looked at his black leather jacket and remained silent.

"I really love you"

The suspect insisted.

"Now I'm being investigated. I run the risk of being convicted of a crime I did not commit. And it's your fault! You and your paranoia got me into this mess!"

He looked up, sighed and continued.

"If they condemn me. I get to be up to twenty years in prison"

He looked down and put his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket.

"That could be the end for me"

"If you're so afraid by your sentence is because you're guilty of the crime"

She sneered. Her throat was dry with hatred and anger.

"Sometimes justice is weak and ends incriminating innocent people unjustly. People who do not deserve to pay behind bars for crimes they never committed!"

His voice was gradually increasing.

"Damn!" - He kicked the ground and then down, put his hands in her hair and continued to sigh with fervor. He vented anger. - "Your paranoia destroyed all my life. Destroyed our love!"

He got up and looked into her eyes, struck his breast saying.

"I have no guilt if I was born with blue eyes!"

His face was red and looked around.

"Neither is it my fault if the murderer of your father also has blue eyes! Damn!"

The boy looked down and held his tears.

"You were unfair to me! Wrongful with our love! Amelia you destroyed everything!

Tired of hearing, she began to speak louder than him.

"If you're not guilty, then why you gave me a porcelain doll? How you had guessed that I loved porcelain dolls?"

He shook his head.

"The murderer of my father knew that I liked porcelain dolls. Because the night my father died, I was holding a doll in my arms. It was the last gift my father gave me before he died"

Not satisfied, she kept accusing him of anger too.

"Not only are your blue eyes Juan incriminating you. You're in love with firearms and who assures me you did not kill my father with that gun that hung on the wall of your room?"

"It is not anymore" - he said quickly. - "The police took it from my home this morning"

He lowered his head and Amelia too.

"And why should I confess that you had done something in your life that you regret until your death?"

"I do not want to talk about it. That was another thing that happened to me. It has nothing to do with the death of your father. Misunderstood things"

"So, tell me what it is. Say Juan Carlos!

She said.

Juan Carlos lowered his head and confessed.

"You never know what it is, because I will not tell you"

Now he looked into her eyes. Amelia he seemed stunned by the look down. Who always he brought joy and today only brought penalties.

The boy looked up and bit his lip. He was trying to feel better, but he could not and could not, it was too much excitement for him in a single day.

Without waiting, Amelia look he was pulling something from the pocket of his black leather jacket. She looked out and saw the gold chain with a medal which had the initials of their names 'JC & A'.

He looked into her eyes and said in a painful voice.

"I do not want that shit!"

She was speechless, looking in the direction of her ex-lover.

"Because that shit do not mean nothing to me!"

He lifted his arm and pulled when the chain with the gold medal in the green water lake.

The medal and chain sank immediately.

Juan looked again at Amelia and said.

"I do not want to see your face! I do not want to see you through my way, wherever I am! Whether in heaven or in hell!"

He paused and looked away.

"Our Love from today no longer exists"

There was an awkward silence between them and reiterated his voice.

"Our Love is fragmented forever"

After these words, Juan Carlos put his hands in the pockets of his dark jacket. He turned his back and walked away with his head down between the trees of the forest.

Amelia did not dare to see him leave. Going further and further away heartbroken.

He suffered so much like her.

Immediately the girl clung to the tree and began to mourn with deep despair. Inside were certainties and uncertainties.

In her dreams he was confident that Juan Carlos was the real murderer of her father.

But after speaking the young man in the forest, she was not so sure. The boy might actually be innocent and had lost illusory suspicions. As he himself said, 'paranoia' of her mind.

Just then it was too late for her to repent of so sad stupid things she had done. The complaint was registered at the police station. He was to be tried in the near future. Juan Carlos now hated her to the bone.

I had no doubt that his love had been corrupted, lying on the ground and crushed.

Thanks to them, it was just a ...
