I was quiet, thinking about what he said. I knew from his words and his body language that he was boiling because of Porter, but he had to respect Mark’s wishes regarding the school and avoid legal action to protect me. Choices.

“Jace? Would you consider allowing me some lotion or something? Please?” I asked timidly. Jace thought about it and nodded, helping me to my feet and into the living room. Mark came in to find me over Jace’s lap with him gently rubbing lotion over my gently bruised bottom.

“That looks painful,” Mark commented, patting my thigh as I blushed. “I just got off the phone with Dr. Parker. I told him about yesterday’s incident with Porter. Before you say anything,” he said to me, “I did let him know about Jeannie’s suspected involvement. Anyway, they are dismissing Porter for misconduct and student provocation. I will be taking his classes until the new instructor arrives.”

“How are you going to handle that and run the school?” Jace asked, possessively resting his hand on my swollen cheeks, massaging gently.

“Villas is going to come back and help with administration until the replacement arrives. I’ll still be handling any disciplinary issues.”

“Too bad they don’t practice paddling anymore. You would have fewer problems.”

“Who said they don’t? I have signed permission on every student, including ours, to administer corporal punishment if I feel it’s warranted.”

I looked at Mark in shock from my position. He smiled. “That was a stipulation of this position. I will also be investigating the incident and, once I find out who the artist is, he or she will be facing my paddle. I will not tolerate this type of thing from anyone,” Mark promised.

My other hero. Maybe the more sane one, and a little less impulsive, but my hero nonetheless.

Jace gently covered my bottom with my dress and helped me to my feet. “Feel better?” he asked.

I hugged him and then Mark. “Thanks. For everything. And I’m really glad you believe me about that picture.”

“Honey, I’ve seen your artwork. There is no way you could draw that badly and put your name to it.” Jace stroked my hair.

Mark agreed, “It was pretty awful. You look tired, baby. Why don’t you go take a little nap?” he suggested.

After kissing both of them, I went back up to my room and quickly fell face-down on the bed, secure in the knowledge that I had my guardians to look after me.

I thought about Jace and The Room and a little shiver traveled up my spine. What other kind of activities would have occurred in there? I kept thinking about how it felt to be strapped down on that bench, my bottom enticingly raised for whatever Jace wanted to do with it, and reflected on the things that he had done to me. How his finger had slipped possessively into my most private place which he then filled with a smooth, wide based plug. My pussy ached with longing as that shiver again found me. I wanted him, more than ever. To touch me… to taste me… to love me.

Monday morning, Mark launched an investigation regarding the ‘artist’ of the drawing. He stood in front of the classroom, informing everyone that he would be substituting until the regular teacher arrived and that no nonsense would be tolerated. He also informed everyone that detention would be given for the entire class until the culprit was found. Within ten minutes, Jeannie was singled out.

“Well, Miss Parker, what do you have to say for yourself?” Mark asked in front of the class.

Jeannie shrugged. “It was just a joke, Mr. Coleman. No big deal. It’s not like she got into trouble or anything, anyway.”

Mark frowned, calling her to the front of the class.

Rolling her eyes, Jeannie came forward.

He turned her to look at everyone. “I promised all of you that things here would change, which is why Mr. Porter is no longer with us. I don’t believe in bullies or provoking someone to do something that’s wrong. How many of you knew what Miss Parker did was inappropriate and very childish?”

Everyone slowly raised their hands. Mark nodded. “Yet, most of you still passed that picture. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is behavior I would expect from grade school, not a bunch of young adults. How would you have felt if you were the one being set up?” Everyone was looking down quietly. “How many of you passed that picture?”

All twelve students raised their hands. A guy named Ben spoke up. “Celeste, I’m real sorry. I thought it was funny at the time and figured nothing would happen anyway, since you’re like, his sister.”

His apology was quickly followed by others, making me redden. I hate being the center of attention.

Mark spoke up. “I’m sure Celeste appreciates the apologies, but don’t think for one minute that I’m any less strict with her than I am with the rest of you. Probably more, because I expect more from her. Am I correct?”

“Yes, sir,” I said quietly.

Mark peered at the class. “Because you twelve were honest about passing the note, and made your apologies, you will only have one day detention. Agreed?”

Murmurs of ‘Yes, sir’ and ‘Yes, Mr. Coleman” were heard through the room. Mark wasn’t done. “How many of you feel that Jeannie should be disciplined for what she did?”

Everyone quickly raised their hands and Jeannie paled.

Mark glanced at her, his hand still resting firmly on her shoulder. “Why do you feel that way?” he asked, determined to drive this lesson home for everyone. The pronouncements flew forwards declaring her a bully, a liar, a manipulator, spiteful, spoiled… the list seemed endless as her classmates expressed their dissatisfaction with her general behavior, causing her to turn quite red with embarrassment and anger.

“It is the consensus of your peers that your actions warrant discipline. Since you involved your classmates, it is also appropriate that they bear witness to your discipline and be constructive in preventing any future mishaps. Is everyone in agreement?” Mark asked the class. Everyone was silent as Mark removed a large thick paddle from the desk. Was he actually going to paddle her in front of us?

“You can’t do this!” Jeannie yelled, unable to escape his grip on her wrist. Mark picked up a piece of paper and read it aloud to the class. It was the permission to apply corporal punishment, signed by her parents and herself. He immediately passed it around for everyone to read. He then advised them that each of their parents had also signed the same form and to take this as a warning if anyone thought of repeating the event, and for any eighteen or over, they had the option of complying with the school’s disciplinary program or leaving.

Mark ordered Jeannie to bend across the desk, her bottom facing her classmates. His large hand on the small of her back held her immobilized.

She started crying.

“You might want to save that for when you need it, young lady. Now, ordinarily, I would consider administering one swat for every person that Jeannie’s actions directly affected. That would include her thirteen classmates, Mr. Porter, my brother Jace, my wife and myself. That’s seventeen. However,” he watched the student’s faces—he was certainly scaring the hell out of them, “since the twelve of you made the choice to pass that note, I will reduce that by 6. I will also eliminate Mr. Porter’s involvement since he acted inappropriately which resulted in his dismissal. That totals ten. Are all of you in agreement?”

Everyone eagerly nodded their heads, afraid to say anything. I looked at that paddle, knowing what it would feel like, even without holes. I raised my hand. “Excuse me, Mark?”

“Mr. Coleman,” he corrected sternly.

I sighed. “Mr. Coleman, could you please remove me from your count? I chose to over-react. That wasn’t her fault.” Jeannie looked at me from her position over the desk with wide eyes. She couldn’t believe it. To be honest, neither could I, but fair is fair.

“Very well. 9.”

“Me, too, Mr. Coleman,” came another voice. It was Ben. I looked back at him. He was really cute and he winked at me.

“Anyone else? No? Okay, eight it is. Miss Parker, I expect you to count each paddle and apologize to your classmates.”

Jeannie was bawling now and she hadn’t even been paddled yet! I winced as the first swat landed across her jeans and she screeched. I know Mark well enough to see that he wasn’t putting any significant force behind the paddling, but also knew how much that damn thing stung. Silence filled the room as the loud pops of the paddle, followed by Jeannie’s yowl and apology, occupied the air space.

Jeannie was a pitiful, sobbing mess when Mark finished up. He wordlessly handed her a tissue and a form to sign, then sent her back to her desk. Her classmates avoided her eyes when she walked by them, saying nothing to her in sympathy.

“Now, if you would please open your book to chapter four… Judicial Branch,” Mark requested, back in teacher mode.

After class, Ben approached me in the hall. “Hey, you okay?” he asked, opening my locker for me.

“Yeah, why?”

He looked down and kicked at the floor. “I heard your family was tough on you. Did you get into a lot of trouble after you took off?”

“Where did you hear that?” I asked, although I’m sure Jeannie had told everyone that I got spanked.

Ben shrugged. “Around. Listen, my dad used to paddle me and my kid brothers all the time. I know how it feels and didn’t think Jean needed anything extra on top of the embarrassment. I thought you might feel the same.”

Wow, someone else who got paddled? I tried to act like it meant nothing. “My family is very fair and very protective. I just felt sorry for her.”

“Is that why you kept squirming in your seat? Listen, you don’t need to be embarrassed. I get it. I was wondering if you would you like to hang out, maybe go to a movie or something?”

“I… yeah, but as friends, if that’s okay? I’m kind of seeing someone,” I commented, thinking of Jace and how he would react if he thought I was dating anyone. “I will have to ask, and Jace would want to meet you first.”

“No problem,” Ben said cheerfully. “I’ll call you tonight, that is, if you aren’t grounded or something.”

“I don’t usually get grounded,” I smiled, relaxing as I gave him my number.

Ben grinned and tucked it in his pocket, then turned to go to his next class. I had a free period, so I ventured back to where Mark was sitting.

“Mark? That was really mean what you did today,” I said quietly, carefully sitting across from him.

He raised his eyes to look at me, his glasses in his hand. “You think so? How many of those kids will think twice before they allow a bully to take control?”

“Well, all of us. Still, it embarrassed her terribly. I would be mortified and never be able to face anyone again. It’s bad enough the whole school knows I get spanked.” I told him about my conversation with Ben and his invitation.

Mark was amused. “He seems like a nice kid, and had some integrity. He’ll have to meet Jace, of course.”

“Yeah, I know. Doesn’t it bother you that he knows about what you do to me?”

“He only knows what Jeannie suspects, no facts. And it seems like he understands. Who knows, he might be another Dom in the making. They are often drawn to natural submissives,” Mark grinned sadistically.

“You really know how to be a butthead, Mark Coleman.” I shook my head.

“I work hard at it. With Jace, it just comes naturally.”

“I’m telling him you said that!” I giggled. Mark dared me and with a quick smack on the head with a stack of rolled up paper, he sent me on my way.

Chapter Eighteen

Secrets

Jace and Ben got along great. My new friend’s frequent visits also gave me the opportunity to explain my true relationship with my family. In no time, he became a regular fixture around the house and even hung out there when I was away.

Fear of humiliation forced me to keep out of trouble for quite a long time since Jace and Mark liked him enough to threaten my bottom in front of him on several occasions. My glaring look and matching blush made Ben respond with a hearty laugh and comments that he would have to take notes. Mark had been correct about Ben’s interests and dominant personality. Fortunately, Jace made it clear that
no one
was to touch ‘that bottom’ but him, to which Ben promised to report any observed infractions straight away. Satisfied, Jace let it be.

Ben, surprisingly, started to date Jeannie. We were down on the beach one Saturday in October, hanging out in the still hot sun, when Ben admitted he had been talking with Jace about Jeannie’s nagging and whining. He said that Jace told him, without any reservation, to spank her, but that he (Ben) was hesitant because of Jeannie’s father and the school.

I contemplated my words before speaking up. “Ben, I need to ask you a question and I want you to be completely honest with me. You’re my best friend and we have no secrets. You know all about my family and how they handle me. Do you fantasize about spanking her?” I met his eyes, noticing a slight blush.

He nodded bashfully, looking out at the ocean. “I’m obsessed by it. It’s all I ever think of since that day Mr. Coleman— uh Mark –paddled her in front of the class. I sometimes get on line and look at pictures; I dream of it. God, I feel so weird. You must think I’m a pervert.”

“Not at all, but I do think it’s time you came clean with Jace about it.”

“He would throw me out! I mean, I know he believes in spanking when it’s needed, but I think of it for
everything
! I can’t look at a girl’s rump anymore without picturing it all red and hot from being paddled. And then I want to screw her brains out. I’m such a sick freak.”

I smiled and squeezed Ben’s hand. “You really need to talk to Jace and put your fears to rest. Come on, I’ll go with you. Don’t you trust me?”

“You know my darkest secret, Celeste. I’m just so embarrassed,” he admitted, reluctantly following me up the sea stairs to the main deck. Mark and Jace were in the pool doing laps against the power waves. Ben hesitated—Jace was one thing. Mark, however…

“Trust me,” I said calmly. “Hi, guys. Where’s Gayle?”

“She went up to San Francisco for the weekend to see her sister. What’s going on?” Mark answered, swimming over to us.
