“Nothing.” His lips formed the words, but he simply stared at me, waiting for me to make the next move.
I watched his face as I moved closer, undoing the towel at his waist, slipping my hand down and grabbing his hardening length. “I think someone is a little turned on,” I teased.
He smiled faintly, fingers trailing down my cheek before resting on my chin, pushing my head up to meet his lips. He twitched in my grasp, as I moved my hand up and down his length. I broke away first, moving my mouth down his body, licking and sucking his skin, feeling his muscles tighten and contract beneath my mouth as my fingers played with him.
I went to my knees, grinning up at him before I brought my tongue to him, taking a taste.
“Harper...” Mason warned, and I could feel him grow even more in my fist.
I took him in my mouth, sucking gently. His eyes grew wide, his fingers reaching down to bury themselves in my wet hair. I swirled my tongue along his length, playing with his tip, stroking him with my hands.
Suddenly his grip on my hair tightened. He pulled me back up to him, pressing his lips against my mouth, a hand going to my ass and giving it a soft smack again. I grew bolder, pushing my tongue in between his lips and tasting his tongue.
“You and that
tongue
,” he repeated, laughing as he drew me close again, his member pressing up against my inner thigh again and sending my senses tingling.
He backed me up a few steps, pushing me down on the little couch as his mouth traveled down my body.
My dream
. It was happening in real life. I grew wet with anticipation as his mouth played with my breasts—first one, then the other. I felt the back of his neck, enjoying feeling his muscles move and expand as his mouth worked on my body. He settled his own body between my legs, hands prying them open a little further.
“I want you to enjoy this.”
My eyes rolled up into the back of my head and I closed them, focusing on the way his tongue suddenly felt on me, taking a taste of my wetness, teasing my clit. My body writhed beneath him, half trying to get away, and half wanting more of the pleasure. His hands tightened on my thighs, holding them wide open, leaving me exposed to his will. His tongue teased my clit, fingers suddenly stroking my lips, teasing me even more. I brought my hands up to my mouth, biting into my knuckle to stop from screaming for him to take me right then in there. I watched his shoulder muscles as they tightened, the tribal tattoo on his back glistening in the moonlight, folding and bending with his movements.
I felt one of his fingers enter me, still teasing me, refusing to go any deeper. My body moved of its own according, sliding down until I could feel his finger deep inside of me, making me groan. His eyes flicked up to meet mine, a smile playing on his lips as he continued licking me, another one of his fingers joining the other inside of me, pressing up deep on that sweet spot again, almost making me orgasm. As if sensing my tension, he stopped, pulling his hand away and sending me into a frenzy.
He grabbed my hips, instantly filling me with his large girth, this time unhindered by the water. It slid in quickly, effortlessly. I felt him shudder against me, enjoying my tightness. He pulled all the way out, kissing my protesting lips, grabbing onto my thighs as he came back, pushing back into me.
“Oh,
fuck
,” Mason groaned, but my body was already convulsing, tightening and loosening around him, spurring him to release.
We both released at the same time. I could feel my wetness drenching him as the grey filled my vision again, like it never had before. He stayed inside of me, this time, collapsing on top of me, breathing hard.
We ended up falling asleep like that, perfectly, as one.
When I woke up, sunlight was already flooding through the tiny windows of the poolhouse. I looked around, hardly believing what had happened the night before. Mason had his arms wrapped around me; somehow, in the middle of the night, we had ended up side-by-side on the little couch.
I detangled myself from him, smiling slightly as I observed his sleeping figure. His hair mussed against his forehead, his muscular body still spent and tired from the night before.
I wrapped a towel around myself and snuck out of the building, hoping that Avery’s dress was still where I had left it by the pool. I didn’t remember taking off my shoes; I must have thrown them somewhere.
“Oh, hi there,” a man’s voice greeted me as I stepped back into the pool area.
I almost screamed, clutching at the short towel that was the only thing covering me. I turned to find Hunter looking at me, laughing.
“Hello,” I managed. “Um...”
“Don’t worry,” He put a hand up in front of his eyes. “I won’t tell anyone.”
I turned on my heel and fled back to the pool house.
Damn it!
I silently cursed at myself, approaching Mason.
You idiot! You should have just waited!
“Mason,” I said, trying not to let the upset I felt coat the tone of my voice. “Wake up.”
He opened his eyes, rubbing them. “What’s up, beautiful?”
“Hunter saw me!” A sinking feeling grew in my stomach. “What if he tells someone?”
I wondered if this would ruin my job at the mansion. I at least still had the restaurant job, but after last night, I certainly didn’t want to fall back on that.
He grabbed my hand, kissing the inside of my palm, sending shivers down my spine. “Don’t worry about it. It’ll be alright.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. I can’t wait to see you at the mixer tonight. Don’t forget about it,” he teased, tickling my stomach.
I giggled. His certainty had calmed me, a little. I realized I was looking forward to the mixer, especially since it would give me another chance to be with Mason.
Natalie walked into my office just as I got off the phone with the caterer for the mixer. I leaned back in my chair. I had never felt so relaxed in my life. Harper Browning had certainly done a number on me, and yet I still had the urge to see her, to talk to her and get to know her better.
Hunter followed Natalie in, amusement in his eyes as he looked at me.
“Hey, Asher. You look a little tired. Busy night?” His mouth twisted up in an uncertain grin. The three of us were so close that sometimes friendship pressed on the boundary of our working relationship.
I gave him a hard look in response. “Not at all.” I tried not to lose focus as images of last night filled my head.
I hadn’t meant to move so fast with Harper, but her looks, her movements—everything about her had turned me on so much that I couldn’t have helped myself even if I tried. I couldn’t get the image of her caramel-colored hair bending over me as she had sucked on me, or the way her hips and moved in time against mine. I shook myself out of the memories, giving Hunter a straight face.
Natalie crossed her arms, looking at Hunter and I.
“Does Harper know you are Asher?” Hunter asked me. “I mean, since we’re going to be working together and all, I just wasn’t sure...”
I interrupted him, not really caring to have him involved in my personal affairs at the moment. “You let me worry about that, Hunter. I will be the one to tell her,” I warned, and he nodded, putting up his hands in submission.
“What are you planning on doing about Avery?” Natalie chimed in. “She’s one of the top five and our bachelor isn’t exactly fond of her. How are you going to explain that one, Asher?”
I laughed, running a hand through my hair. “It was an executive decision, Natalie. We know what’s good for our bachelor and acted accordingly.”
Natalie didn’t look convinced. I stood up, still relaxed despite Natalie and Hunter’s protestations. I had Harper, after all, and I would make sure I saw more of her.
“Can I trust you two to get everything ready for tonight? I have some business to attend to.”
“Of course,” Natalie said, pursuing her lips a little. “You have to tell her, Asher. It won’t end well if you don’t.”
I shrugged off her comment. I was so involved in being with Harper as Mason, a not-so-rich version of myself, that I didn’t want to think about her knowing me as Asher, the creeper behind the cameras, the person pulling all the strings just so I could get Harper to come back for the mixer.
“You’re excused.” They exchanged glance, but I didn’t care. As they walked out, I called Harper. She answered the phone cheerfully. “I’m coming to pick you up for the day.”
“Oh? What if I have something else planned?” Harper asked, humor coating her voice.
“You don’t,” I replied. I heard her giggle and smiled myself.
“Okay. See you in a few hours.”
Natalie was right; I
did
have to tell Harper about my true identity. The trick would be to find the right time to do so.
