His hot wet kiss trailed its way around her ankles working their way up the backs of her thighs. Taking each hand on each of her thighs he opened her legs and gazed on at her perfection. He stroked his fingers along each side of her clit before taking it into his mouth for a second time.

Her hips arched up pressing against the electric current he was teasing her with. He lapped at her like a hungry cat would a cup of warm milk. She was happy to be his meal.

He pressed her legs further apart sliding his chest over her wanting mound. His kisses trailed behind his expansive grasp over her breast. He teased the dark pink rims on her breast until they formed tiny peaks at the center. He sucked them hard into his mouth. She felt like he was going to swallow them whole.

Ginger's fingers dug into his back as he worked his body over her. She pulled at him, wanting him, needing him. Finally she felt him. His thickness probed at her wet sex. She wasn't sure she could take anymore. Her body was overcharged with lust. She wondered if she might over dose.

"I need you," she demanded pulling him closer. She now had his ass in both her hands. She let her legs fall further apart opening up for him.

"I want you to have me." His voice reverberated on the most sensitive spot on her neck.

He plunged himself into her hot depths. His steady, lengthy thrust pounded against her. He grabbed at her ass squeezing hard, claiming it for himself.

Her body filled with him. She possessed him in that moment. He was a perfect fit, like a lock and key.

Spirals of pleasure spun out of control. As she moaned out he captured it with his mouth. He couldn't help but let his own moan slip out with his tongue as he drove it between her lips.

She felt her inside walls begin to spasm over him. She cried out loud like the thunder.

Her back arched up in the air and she squeezed at his ass pulling him into her as deep as he could go. The explosion of ecstasy set off a light show behind her eyes as they rolled back into her head.

"Holly shit...you're so tight... and so wet.."

Just as she started to feel her muscles relax and her heart beat started to pound, he jerked his body back away from her.

He took his shaft in his hand and stoked himself once before streams of sticky silk shot over her belly and onto her chest. Ginger watched him as his back now arched as he moaned out with pleasure.

"Wow," he said. "What else can I say, but wow."

"Wow is right!" Ginger couldn't argue with that. "How about a shower and some pizza, unless you killed it all?"

"I didn't kill all of it, and there was almost two pizzas there." He smiled and helped her up off the bed so they didn't make a mess on her new comforter.

Chapter Seventeen

"DID YOU LIGHT ALL THESE candles just for me?" Jack asked as he washed Ginger's hair.

"I wish I could say yes, I lit them for my bath, that you interrupted I might add," she mentioned.

"Sorry about that," he apologized. "But I did like the way you answered the door all flushed and wet. It was sexy as hell."

"Maybe I didn't intentionally light them for you, unless of course you consider the fact that I was fantasizing about you touching me while I was in the bath."

"Is that so?" He turned her around. "Were you touching yourself?"

"I was. I was lying right here where we are standing and you know what, you interrupted that too." She laughed.

"So you were in the middle of pleasuring yourself, thinking about me, and I showed up at your doorstep like a crazy person?"

She nodded.

"You can't tell me that this isn't meant to be," he said kissing her lips softly. "I'm sorry if that sounds corny. I'm not really an overly sappy kind of guy. It's just that I haven't really made time for anyone, or I should say that I haven't really found anyone worth making time for. I knew there was an emptiness in my life, but I just pushed past it."

"I know what that is like. That was how most of my marriage was, sorry to say." She wished she hadn't brought up her marriage. That was probably a buzz kill.

"Exactly, but look, now you are not married. You are available and I am here. We are here. It makes sense." His eyes sparkled as his cheeks bunched up with his smile.

"You know how I had said I wish I met you six months ago... The funny thing is I totally take that back, because six month ago I was married and wouldn't have been a part of this new adventure with Jasinda and Steve. I think you are right that there is something very synchronistic about how life has worked out," she said thinking about how magical it all seemed.

Then of course she had to wonder how it was too good to be true and it hit her. This man actually lived several states away from her. Sure he would be back to spend some time working on their project, but then what? Some great sex and some heart to heart dates only to have it all ripped away from her. Her heart sank.

"Hey what just happened." He pushed the hair back over her head and lifted her chin.

"It's just that. This feels amazing. And the possibilities of what this could grow into..." her words trailed off and she felt her brow furrow. "You live in Chicago, and I, well, I live here."

"Is that it? I am not afraid of that. If I want something I will make it happen. I would never let something like a few miles or a few hundred miles stand in the way of my destiny. We will work it out."

"This can't be for real. You can't be for real." She leaned into his chest and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head.

"It's real, I'm real, you are amazing and I am starving. Let's get out before we turn into two shriveled up raisins." Jack kissed her on the nose and turned off the water.

Chapter Eighteen

GINGER MAYBE SLEPT TWO HOURS the night before, but she was awake and full of energy. It would be a day for several cups of coffee, but she was rejuvenated and was ready to tackle anything.

She decided it would be a great day to work on making some more progress in the condo. She made herself a small breakfast and boxed up as much as she could of her father's remaining things to take to the local Salvation Army. She also managed to fill several garbage bags full of stuff that was not worth donating and that she would never have any use for.

It amused Ginger at how much she accomplished in three hours. It had been almost three months that she procrastinated and avoided facing these tasks. Getting the master bedroom sorted out was the stepping stone she needed. She felt like a giant elephant had been lifted off of her chest.

She took several trips to the dumpster with trash and took a shower. It was time to grab lunch. She didn't have anything in the fridge, she and Jack polished off all the pizza the night before. Ginger wanted to get the donations off to their new home as soon as she could.

She didn't want to waste the energy while she had it. With the limited sleep she got, she knew that there would be a point in the late afternoon when she would hit a wall of exhaustion.

Before she jumped in the shower she decided to give Jasinda a call. The Salvation Army was only a few blocks from the bar, maybe she would want to have lunch.

"Hello?" Jasinda answered the call.

"Hi. What is your schedule like today?" Ginger asked.

"Oh,

you sound very chipper. How many cups of coffee have you had today?" Jasinda joked.

"Only one...pot." Ginger giggled as she got undressed.

"I'm here at the bar. Steve had some things he needed to take care of today. We of course don't have a bartender on this afternoon so I am working the bar until the night shift comes in, but I still have to be here most of the night. What's up?" she asked.

"Well, I have done some more work around the house. Yay me. I am going to be heading over to the Salvation Army with some donations and then grabbing lunch. I could pick something up and bring it over?" Ginger turned on the shower and stepped in so that the water started to dampen her hair, careful not to get her phone too wet.

"That would be excellent. I could use the company and it will help break up the day. What were you thinking for lunch?"

"Indian?"

"Yum, I haven't had Indian food in forever. I am easy and love it all, just no goat," Jasinda said enthusiastically.

"Ok, I will order online for pick up and see you around one." Ginger hung up the phone and gently tossed it on the floor mat next to the tub.

She couldn't help but smile through her shower reminiscing about the night before. Her dream guy stood in the same shower with her only a few hours earlier, washing her hair and kissing her on the nose.

She couldn't wait to see the look on Jasinda's face when she heard about the night she had with Jack.

Ginger picked up her takeout food. She was afraid that it was going to be cold; dropping off her donation took a little bit longer than she expected. At least she waived the slip they offered her for her taxes. That came along with paperwork documenting what she was donating and the value of it.

She shot Jasinda a text letting her know she was still on her way, to have no fear the food was on the way. She hinted that some homemade tea would pair really well with tika masala.

Ginger was careful with the brown bag the food was in when she got out of the car. She was wearing a pair of light tan Capris and of course an emerald tank top. She did not want to go around with a stain on her pants. She had her prime parking spot since it appeared that there was no one at that bar.

It was that strange time between lunch and dinner when not a lot of people frequent restaurants. Of course this was not a restaurant yet, she assumed the same social rules applied for the bar crowd.

Ginger strolled into the bar surprised to actually see a hand full of guys scattered along the long stretch of barstools. They sipped and swirled at their drinks with their necks bent up staring aimlessly at the televisions. The music was low and the volume on the TV's was actually on, she knew it had to have been by request because the music was always pumping in there. It would have been hard to put the volume on when you have more than one television running different channels at the same time.

Jasinda waved while she shook a glass attached to a metal shaking cup in the air. She cracked the two pieces apart like an egg and poured the frothy contents into a fresh chilled glass.

Ginger took the food into the kitchen and found some plates and utensils. She wasn't sure if Jasinda wanted her to bring the food out to the bar or take turns eating it in the kitchen.

Jasinda poked her head through the window leading into the kitchen. "That smells delicious. Will you make me a plate? We can sit at the end of the bar and eat."

Ginger answered over her shoulder, "Ok, be out in a minute." She plated up the food giving them each some rice and split the two dishes in half so they could share. She was excited that even the Nan was still warm.

She brought the food out and placed it on the bar. She left the end seat for Jasinda so she could easily get back around if anyone needed anything.

"Iced tea? It's peach," Jasinda asked as she filled two glasses with ice.

Ginger nodded and answered her with a smile and reached over the bar to grab a stack of bar napkins. By the time Jasinda sat down, Ginger was starting to spoon lentils into her mouth. She had butterflies in her stomach thinking about her night. It was killing her not to blurt it all out, but she knew once she started to talk about it she wouldn't be able to eat.

Jasinda sat there and stared at Ginger. She felt her watching her and wondered if it was that obvious that something had changed in her life.

"This smells great did you get it from Bombay Delight?" Jasinda asked still watching her.

"Is there anywhere else to get Indian around here?" Ginger lifted her glass, "peach, huh? My favorite you know."

"Yup, it is peach season. I just put them through the juicer. I love fresh peach, that stuff they sell out of the soda fountains is disgusting, I made the mistake ordering it at a restaurant once."

The two women ate in silence for the next few minutes. Jasinda looked over at the few people sitting at the bar to see if they needed anything, but they had barely even touched the last round of drinks.

Ginger could feel Jasinda eyeballing her from the corner of her eye. She just smiled harder than she could help as she sopped up the last bits of sauce off of her plate with the fresh Nan.

"Ok, I can't take it anymore. You need to spill it. I can feel your energy pulsing through the air. I felt it the minute you walked in the door. And now that I am sitting next to you I feel like I am standing next to a bass woofer at a concert."
