The bath attached to the master suite was small, but finished in tile and stainless steel. The best feature, by far, was the large, walk-in shower. They were definitely going to have to use make use of that before they returned to Houston.

“Nice place,” she said, nodding her head in approval.

“It’s getting there. It was pretty rundown when I got it, but I’ve been working on it as I get the money.”

“I love the bath.”

He smiled. “I like it. I just finished it a couple of months ago.”

“You did it yourself?”

“Mostly. Duck did the plumbing for me, but I did all the demolition and tile work. It’s not hard, once you figure it out. The hardest part was getting that heavy bastard of a cast iron tub out. I finally knocked it into six pieces with a sledge.”

She stepped around him to peek in the shower, admiring the clean lines of having no door and how the window flooded the area with light. If he’d only finished it a couple of months ago, she should be the first person to break in the shower with him
.
“Show me what else you’ve done.”

He showed her around, opening the door to two dreary bedrooms full of painting and tiling supplies sitting on dirty blue carpeting, and a bathroom with stained blue fixtures.

“Yes, it was a dump,” Kade chuckled as he closed the door to the bathroom. “Whoever owned it before either liked blue or they got a good deal. The entire house was full of that same blue carpeting.”

“What’s next on your hit parade?”

He grinned. “The kitchen. I’m going to tile Nolan’s kitchen and he’s going to build me some cabinets.”

“You do good work. You could probably make a good living at it in Houston.”

He shrugged. “I like working with my hands. It gives me a sense of accomplishment when I look at my bedroom, the living room, or especially the bath, and I remember what they looked like before.”

“Like I said, you’re good at it. A great cook, good with your hands,” she purred with a smile, “and a fantastic lover. You better be careful or I might take you home and keep you.”

He chuckled at her teasing. “Are your lips lonely?”

“Very.”

He slowly bent and brought his lips to hers for a leisurely kiss. He finally pulled back with a soft exhalation and smiled at her. “How about now?” he breathed.

“Better, but still lonely.”

He kissed her again, pulling her in as his passions began to spool up. He felt her hand tugging at his belt, but before she could loosen it he slowly withdrew from the kiss and gently pulled her hand away.

“Later,” he breathed, still holding her close.

“I want you now.”

“I want you, too, but we haven’t eaten, and once we start, I don’t want to stop.”

“We can eat later.”

He smiled at her. “Come on. I know a place. We’ll grab something to eat, then I’ll give you a ride of a different kind. Then we’ll come back here and I’ll make love to you until we’re exhausted.”

“That a promise?”

“Promise.”

She sighed and stepped back, both disappointed and excited. “What do you mean a you’ll give me a different kind of ride?”

“You ever ridden a motorcycle?”

“No.”

“After tonight, you can say you have.”

He led her to the garage, handing her a helmet before putting on his. He helped her adjust it to fit then strapped it on.

“What do I do?” she asked once her helmet was on.

“Wait until I get on, then get on. It’s just like mounting a horse. Scoot in close and hang on. Don’t try to help me ride. That’s it.”

“Would you think less of me if I admitted I’m a little nervous?”

He chuckled. “Only a little,” he said as he mounted up.

She swallowed hard then got on as the Harley rumbled to life.

“You ready?” He smiled as he saw her nod in the review. “Don’t worry, we’ll start out nice and easy.”

“What did you think of your first motorcycle ride?” he asked as they sat in his favorite watering hole enjoying wings and a beer.

“It wasn’t as bad as I was afraid it would be. I was afraid I was going to feel like I was about to fall off all the time, but I didn’t.”

“Riding in town isn’t much fun. After dinner we’ll get out the road then you can experience what riding a bike is really like.”

She nodded. “I think I’ll like that.”

“Trust me, you will. It’s the nearest you can come to flying without leaving the ground.”

“I don’t know,” she said as she leaned in close. “You had me flying pretty good last night.”

He grinned at her and leaned in over the table. “Wait until we do it after you’ve ridden a bike,” he whispered.

She flushed as she leaned back, wondering how much better it could be.

After dinner, they spent the next three hours rumbling through the Texas backcountry. Winter was hopelessly turned around, but Kade seemed to know exactly where he was going. He took them on a big loop, down 277, then to 57 then over to 83, then to 90, before back to 277 and home. The night was cooling and she relaxed in the saddle. By the time they stopped for fuel and a pop in Uvalde, she’d relaxed to the point that she was enjoying the ride, the cool night air caressing her skin like a lover.

She was tucked in close, her hands resting comfortably on the inside of his legs, as they passed the Rio Bravo City Limits sign. They had spoken little, not wanting to shout over the wind and rumble of the Harley, but she didn’t care. She couldn’t remember an evening she’d enjoyed more.
The nearest you can come to flying without leaving the ground was right
, she sighed.

He pirouetted the bike in the drive then kicked it back into the carport before shutting it off. She felt like a pro now, and quickly dismounted, unhooking her helmet as he swung his leg over the seat. She parked her helmet on one of the rearviews like he did.

“So?” he asked with a grin.

“I
love
flying! Maybe we can do it again sometime?”

He nodded and led her into the house. She hadn’t noticed when he left, but he hadn’t even bothered to lock the door.

She glanced at the clock on the microwave as they passed through the kitchen, the glowing numbers telling her it was time for Kade to make good on his promise.

She followed him into his bedroom and sat on the edge of his bed to pull her shoes off. The five-hour drive this morning, then another two hours to her Jeep and back, followed by another three on the back of his Harley left her feeling grimy, road weary, and in need of a shower.

“Who’s showering first, me or you?” she asked.

He smiled at her. “It’s a two-person shower, you know.”

“Are you sure?” she purred.

“Want to find out?”

“Oh, yeah.”

He was faster undressing and wandered into the bath, stepping into the shower and starting the water running. With no lip and no curtain or door to close, only the size of the shower and the shape of the floor prevented the water from running or splashing into the rest of the bathroom. She joined him just as the water became warm.

Occupying the space where the tub was located, the shower was a bit snug side-to-side but plenty long, allowing them to move about easily. She stepped under the showerhead, enjoying how, with it mounted to the ceiling, it made the water fall on her like rain.

He stepped up behind her and began to vigorously massage her scalp, using his shampoo to work up a rich, frothy lather. She stood still, eyes closed, as he worked, enjoying his attentions.

“Rinse,” he commanded and she stepped under the shower again as he continued to run his hands through her hair. The feel of the soap drifting down her body and knowing he was right there was deeply erotic, but when his hands began to travel her body, the bar of soap in his hand making her slick, she nearly shivered in pleasure.

He worked his way down her body, his hands cleaning the dirt of the day from her body while making her think dirty thoughts. He finally turned her and gently washed her face. She’d had sex in a shower one time before, but having her partner bathe her like this? This was something new and deeply erotic. He steered her under the shower again, then carefully tipped her head up to wash the soap from her face. She stood smiling as the water pattered off her face, then she felt his lips.

He bent to kiss her as the water sluiced the soap from her body. Wet, she glowed like an angel in the light of the two spots mounted in the ceiling, and he simply had to taste her. As his lips touched hers, her arms went around his neck, holding him into the kiss. He stepped in closer and she melted into him, the kiss taking on a life of its own.

She reluctantly allowed him to break off the kiss, stepping out from under the shower. She wiped her eyes then blinked at him. “Now you,” she murmured as they changed places, his ridged cock rubbing against her as they squeezed by each other.

He stepped under the shower and she repeated the procedure on him, scrubbing his hair clean then washing his body, bypassing his cock as she worked her way down.

“Not yet,” she breathed as he started to step under the shower, pulling him back. She pressed in tight behind him, loving how slick his soap covered body felt as she pressed in tight, her hand going to his cock as she began to slowly stroke him.

His intake of breath as she caressed him with her soapy hand excited her, drawing as much pleasure out of pleasing him as when he pleased her. She smiled wickedly, wondering how much he could take. She began to pump her fist harder and faster, using her other than to gently massage his balls. He took her hand and pulled it away, so she switched to her other hand. He tried to pull that one away, too, but she tightened her grip, making him hiss as they engaged in a brief test of strength, the harder he pulled the more she tightened her grip and resisted him.

“You’re going to make me come,” he gasped as he relented, and she began to stroke him hard and fast again.

“You better fucking hold it,” she growled, enjoying the game, slowing her strokes only slightly.

He grunted hard, his hips jerking. “Shit…”

“Don’t you fucking come, you hear me? You take it!”

He grunted, then ripped her hand from his cock before she could prevent it and pushed her back. “You like to play rough?” he growled, his face and eyes intense.

“Yeah? Come on, tough guy, show me whatcha got!” she challenged.

She couldn’t believe it was her speaking, but she was so turned on she couldn’t stop herself. She began to drop to her knees to take him into her mouth, but her caught her under her arms and lifted her as if she weighed nothing. He pushed her into the wall, pinning her hands above her head as he leaned in and kissed her, pressing her against the tile with his body.

She began to buck and writhe as he kissed her, their tongues engaged in an intimate duel. He couldn’t remember ever wanting a woman as badly as he wanted Winter at this moment. Her challenge had set his blood roaring in his veins, his passions running hot.

He peeled her off the wall then turned and pushed her back against it, pinning her hands to wall above her head with one hand, holding her hips with the other as he crouched slightly.
