“Ethan, will you start a bath for our mate? I’d like her to relax for a little while before I tuck her in.” Lucas stared at her as he spoke to Ethan, and she smiled. He sat in the chair by the fire, and she was glad that he didn’t put her down. She loved being in his arms. She leaned against his shoulder and closed her eyes. He moved his hand up and down her back. She couldn’t believe how comfortable they all were naked. She loved being in his arms. Just being near them made her feel good.

“Bath is ready.” Lucas stood up and easily carried her to the bathroom. He stepped into the tub and sank into the hot water, never once letting go of her. “Lucas. It’s okay, he’s just gonna dry me off and then put me in bed. I’ll save a spot next to me for you. I promise.” She kissed his lips, and he let go of her, helping her to stand. She stepped out and Nathan wrapped the towel around her, drying her off. She was so tired. The day seemed to last forever, and she was ready to drop. Luckily, Nathan had a hand on her. Otherwise, she might’ve fallen to the floor.

“Ryan and Ethan are waiting for you in bed. It might be tough to make one of them move. I’m not gonna fight for a place next to you, but good luck. Tonight is special, and we all want to hold you.”

She walked into the bedroom and Ethan, Lucas, and Ryan were on the bed waiting for her completely naked. They looked like a dark fantasy come to life. She looked from Ethan to Ryan, hoping that they wouldn’t get into a fight for the empty spot next to her. She watched as Ryan moved faster than Ethan, pushing him out of the way so that he would lie on the other side of her. Ethan didn’t seem to mind. Instead, he moved toward the foot of the bed and rubbed her thigh.

She couldn’t keep her eyes open for another minute. She leaned against the cool pillow and closed her eyes. Her thoughts were no longer consumed with thoughts of running through the forest. Instead, she envisioned the future with her men. This was the way she wanted to go to bed every night, lying between her men. Warm, comfortable, and loved.

For the first time her life truly felt complete. She had a crappy job she hated and a one-bedroom apartment with used furniture. There was nothing for her to return to in Portland.
