Suddenly, she
wakes up from her pleasure-filled slumber. Her body is warm and sweaty. She
slowly moves her hands down to her vagina and feels the warm soft liquid
between her thighs. She laughs softly to herself as she remembers the details
of her dream. Her womanhood quivers from the aftermath of the orgasm from her
dream that transferred to her reality.

She gets up and
goes to the bath to clean herself. She allows the water to run until the
bathtub is full and covered with bubbles. She slowly enters the bath and gasps
as the warm water touches her skin. The water feels like Chad’s hands and she
softly moans from its soothing feeling.

She slowly runs a
finger down and across her neck as she breathes softly. She takes her finger to
her mouth and gently runs the saliva down her chin. Her lips softly quiver as
she feels a surge of pleasure from her own touch. She moves her fingers down to
her breasts and gently plays with them, moaning softly as she evokes pleasure
within herself. With every movement that she makes, she imagines it being done
by Chad, and it heightens her pleasure. She moans and breathes softly as her
fingers trail down her stomach all the way down to her womanhood.

She gasps loudly
as she slowly circles her clitoris with a finger. Her moans are soft and
passionate as her finger slowly enters her opening. She smiles to herself as
she thinks of how Chad usually touches her down below. Unable to take any more
of her sweet torture, she stops and allows the water to calm the heat of her
desire. She laughs at herself. She feels lost without him; she needs him not
only inside her but around her to hold her and tell her he loves her. She tries
to be strong and tries to take him off her mind. But her tears fail her as they
start to fall profusely. She smiles with frustration through her tears.

“I love you,
Chad Perry, I truly do, baby,” she whispers to the four walls, as if Chad might
be standing behind one of them.

CHAPTER 27

He’s in absolute agony, a
psychological anguish, of course. But reality seems so apparent when his mind is
stuck in a diabolically self-destructing dream. However his body is on an
earthly world that reflects an existential way of life that has become
accustomed to his being. His reality and nightmares mirrored the other in one
thing.

He feels pain! A
pain so deep it pierces through his heart and takes his soul deep into the
underworld. It is a land devoid of love and any other emotion. His heart feels
like a barren land. Like the driest deserts of the world, it is empty like the
Dead Sea. Only memories remain of what was in his heart for one particular
woman.

Her image is
distorted in his mind. She’s like an angel and a demon synthesised together. He
knows not who he was, nor who he has become. All he knows is that he no longer
feels like himself. Love itself seems to be an absurd notion to him.

He wakes up from
his tainted dream.

He feels the
urgent desire to exact revenge on everyone that has caused him to be in this
tormented state that he is in, especially the two men that had been stalking
him. He now knows the identity of the other man that was in the picture that
his driver, Ricardo, had shown him.

Chad Perry is at
his sixty million dollar penthouse. He has been spending plenty of time there
since Sierra stopped being in his life. It is the only place that he feels a
little peace, even though Sebastian had waged war on him inside it. Standing by
the glass wall in his apartment, it is as if the world is moving in slow
motion, almost standing still. Time is of the essence but no longer is that
notion relatable to Chad Perry. He stands with a letter in his hands that only contains
four words.

I LOVE YOU CHAD.

It is a
handwritten note that Sierra had left at his a long time ago. He rips the note
into the tiniest pieces possible and then burns it with a lighter.

Chad’s sanity is
slowly but dangerously debilitating. However, he’s sought refuge in an old
friend of his called cognac. He needs something to fix himself real quick, even
if it’s only temporary. So he gets dressed and heads out. On his way he calls a
lady friend that he had met not too long ago – she had pursued him, but he didn’t
mind.

Chad takes her
to dinner, but he’s submerged in thoughts of Sierra. He looks at the lady in
front of him and all he can think of is that he wants to be inside her, to hold
her and, for her, through her womanhood, to momentarily take his pain away. The
restaurant is packed but he feels alone.

It’s always harrowing
for him to know that he’s in the midst of everyone yet still feels so alone, as
if he could have been in New York by himself. This is now a recurring feeling
for him. He feels lost within his own world, and feels like he can’t be found.

He wants to fuck
the lady with him. He wants her to make him feel good and to make him feel like
the only man in the world. But, ultimately, he wants her to make him forget the
only woman he has ever loved. He needs her to do all of that for him. They
finish their dinner and head back to his.

In the ride back
to his apartment they barely speak; the car holds an eerie silence. She tries
every now and then to take his hand into hers as she had done at the restaurant,
but he always pulls back. To Chad, it’s a sign of intimacy and he’s in no frame
of mind to be intimate with another female. He can’t afford to go through such
a thing again. He hates women now because of Sierra and he’ll never again allow
himself to fall for another one of them the way he’d fallen for Sierra.

He roughly grabs
his female companion’s breast in the car and she moans – a stifled reaction to
the pleasure he’s slowly igniting in her body. It turns him on slightly,
causing him to squeeze harder on her small but perky breast. She moans slightly
louder this time and he can tell that she’s ready for him to play with her. He
feels bad because he can tell that she feels something other than just lust for
him.

He looks in her eyes
and feels a regret and an emptiness that he can’t explain. The odd thing is,
the emptiness isn’t from Sierra being gone, it’s from something closer to him.

The car’s
playing sweet, soft rock music. As he listens to his own heartbeat it coincides
with the music’s rhythm. For the first time in a long time his body feels as if
it’s caught in a romantic tryst with the music that he’s hearing and feeling.
He wishes he could display what he’s feeling to Sierra and then he looks at the
lady next to him who’s oblivious to the fact that he’s thinking of another.

Chad wonders how
it would feel if he shared the romance he’s feeling with the woman sat next to
him.

He thinks about
the son of a bitch called Sebastian who’s probably fucking Sierra and the
thought causes chaos in his heart.

He swerves the
car uncontrollably, causing the woman by his side to shout and tell him to keep
his eyes on the road. Her rugged tone unexpectedly entices him as he likes a
woman with a little bit of bad in her. He looks at her with puppy-dog eyes and
apologises. He drives to a different penthouse than the one he was in before he
went for dinner.

They finally get
to his penthouse apartment and into his bedroom. He slowly carries her to his
boudoir. Roughly, he lays her on the bed. She tries to kiss him but he pulls
back from her awkwardly. She looks disappointed, but he just walks out. He goes
to the kitchen and pours her a glass of rosé wine, but he refrains from
drinking. He returns to the room and sees the desire in her eyes for him. He
smiles, remembering the many women who had that same look in their eyes for him.

Whenever Chad has
a female around, his routine is quite repetitive. It was only with Sierra that
he lacked control and order. When he was with her he desired no other female,
she satisfied all his desires. Even after she had left he still could not bring
himself to touch another woman. But right now he is back to his old self; the
man who is not monogamous and only sees the woman as a means of pleasure.

He plays soft
music and asks her if she requires anything else. She says no and tells him
that the only thing she wants is him and him alone. For the first time today he
smiles a genuine and beautiful smile.

“You just want
me, huh?” he says in a deep and sensuous voice.

“Yes I do, and
you know it,” she replies, getting up and placing a soft kiss on his neck.

He feels the effect
of her kiss disperse through his skin and it feels nice. Her voice reminds him a
little of the way Sierra spoke. She says certain things – sexy, erotic things –
that sound just like Sierra. He smiles at the fact that she could actually
remind him of the woman he once loved.

“I want you to
take control of my body like you usually do to Sierra,” she softly whispers in
his ear.

The name of
Sierra pierces deep through his heart and he pushes her to the floor. “How the
fuck do you know about Sierra,” he shouts. Frustration consumes Chad as he
slumps to the floor to help her up, feeling disgusted at himself for what he
has just done.

“I’m sorry. I am
very sorry,” he says, with an absent look in his eyes.

She looks up at
him with lust in her eyes, as if she liked the roughness of his touch. “Erm,
well you are Chad Perry of New York City, so people talk about whom you date,
especially the ladies, so I heard her name from one of my friends. I’m sorry if
I offended you.”

“It’s fine. I am
the one that should be sorry.” He kisses her lips softly to show the sincerity
of his apology.

“I get it. You
loved her. But she doesn’t love you, Chad. Do you not see that? She’s probably
fucking another man right now and thinking nothing about you.”

He grabs her
throat but restrains himself from hurting her, and tells her to shut the fuck up
before backing away from her as she calmly takes a seat on the bed.

“You know
nothing of Sierra. She still loves me. I know it and I feel it. I fucking know
it. I know it!” Chad’s voice is shaky with emotion.

She gets up and
walks towards him. He stares out the window into oblivion.

“Don’t think
about her tonight. Allow me to make you forget her. I can make you feel good,
baby, just let me,” she says in a soft and erotic voice.

He looks at her
with anger in his eyes, but she somehow awakens desire in him.

“Do you love
me?” asks Chad.

“Yes, I love the
legend of Chad Perry and his expertise in the bedroom, which many others speak
of. I think I did from the first day my friend told me about you,” she replies,
without any hesitation, her eyes ignited with desire.

He rips the straps off
her dress aggressively. The dress feels like silk and even silkier is her skin.
Her perfume teases his sense of smell – it’s sexy and seductive. He feels her
wetness and quickly slides his fingers onto her clothed womanhood. A faint moan
leaves her mouth and like the air itself it’s as if her moans softly touch him.

Their lips touch.
They bite, lick and nibble on each other’s lips.
He grabs a breast with one hand
and roughly kneads it as she moans uncontrollably. Then he pulls the back of
her dress away from him as he lunges forward. His kisses are like that of a
depraved primate in the search for something his senses can’t grasp but craves
more of. It’s a passion beyond intensity.

“Fuck me now,
Chad,” she demands, with desperation in her voice.

“I can’t do this,”
he says calmly.

“Why … Why not?”

“I just can’t.
You remind me too much of someone that I know. Your voice and mannerisms are
too much like her. I can’t.”

She looks as if
she is about to cry with pure disappointment in her eyes as he looks at her. He
doesn’t show any emotion, but he stares at her with apprehension.

“Please leave my
home when you are ready,” he says quietly.

He walks out of
the room. And he swears he must have heard her whimper with need and
disappointment, but he does not look back.

Chad drives to
his other penthouse on the Upper West Side, the only place where he can try and
gather his thoughts when they are in disarray. He walks to the gallery and
silently stares at the paintings on the wall as they start to calm his nerves.

He begins to
intricately plan his revenge in his mind, but he knows that he has to be
patient as he does not go for the kill, but rather the kill comes to him – then
he goes in.

CHAPTER 28

Sierra’s workplace on Wall Street
is booming as if there hadn’t been a recession a few years back. However her
mind is frozen with thoughts of Chad. She does not care for the money, all she
cares for is Chad Perry, but she believes he hates her, so she tries to forget
him.

For those that
work in and around the world’s financial district, the recession was like a bad
dream that wasn’t real as they’re still raking in the big bucks. Although the
elites of the city’s financial district are awash with money, the ordinary
residents of the city and the country are still in dire straits from the
effects that some have called the great depression of the modern era. Those far
from America’s borders also feel the aftershock as the world news outlets
complain of the effect the recession has had on the world, which most people
solely blame on the world’s wealthiest countries lending and borrowing
policies.
