“Okay.” I blinked, still trying to grasp what he was trying
to say.

“Look. I follow you on Facebook and Twitter. We chat. The
fact I have you on all my social media doesn’t mean I stalk you. I connect to
all the group like that.” He folded his hands on one leg, but they were
clutched tightly to one another. “I never said I was in love with you. Liked
you a lot, yes. Crushing on you. As I said, Russell exaggerates. I’m so going
to kill him for this.”

“So you’re not stalking me.” I sagged forward, using the
chair for balance.

“No.” Dean stood and stared at his shoes. “I had a really
bad breakup a year and a half ago. I didn’t handle it well. But, in my defense,
I’d been with the girl for over a year, and it was one of those I didn’t see it
coming deals. She did some pretty horrible things, including stealing money
from me and cheating on me.”

“That’s awful.” My heart went out to him. I wanted to hold
him, take all that pain from him. But would he hate me now for believing those
things about him? I’d been so stupid to let Russell get me worked up like that.

“It makes it difficult to trust people, but you’re
different. You’re not like other women.” Dean lifted his head. And, oh, those
dreamy eyes. Shimmering and half-hooded.

“No?” The word squeaked out.

“No.” He walked around the table and ran the back of his
hand along my arm. “I’m sorry Russell scared you. I know we’re moving a little
fast. I never expected it to happen this way, but I don’t regret one second
since I met you.”

Sparks of desire ignited within me. I could hardly breathe.
He wasn’t walking out. And he was the one apologizing. He was way too good for
me, and I wanted him more for it.

“I don’t either.” My husky voice trembled. “I’m the one who needs
to apologize. I shouldn’t have let Russell get to me like that. It’s just that,
in some ways, I think you’re too good to be true, and life, for me, usually
sucks.”

Dean turned me away from the chair and wrapped his arms
around my body. “Then I’m glad I could bring something good into your life.” He
leaned in. His supple lips so close to mine. “I want you to be happy.”

“I am.” My fingers traipsed up his arms so I could wrap mine
around his shoulders. My nipples hardened as I pressed my chest to his. He hadn’t
even kissed me and I was ready to collapse into a steamy puddle of goo. Not a
pleasant image. Too much like Odo in his bucket on
Deep Space Nine
.

All gooey images were chased away when he did kiss me. Slow
and deep. His tongue knew just how to tease mine, when to dart in and out, and
when to allow his teeth a nip at my lower lip. My hands lost themselves in his
hair as I surrendered to the kiss with a soft moan.

He pushed me back so my butt hit the table and then coaxed
me to sit on top of it. I scooted even farther back, parting my legs so that he
fit between them. The bulge in his pants bumped up against my hot spot. I
gasped and quivered. I wanted him like I wanted nothing before in my life. He
was the Westley to my Buttercup. The Han Solo to my Leia.

I kissed him hard. No, more like Zoe and Wash. More down and
dirty sex that way!

He fondled my left breast, kneading it and teasing the hard
nub through the fabric of my shirt and bra. “I want you. Right here, right now.”

His lusty growl stole away any reason I had left. Right here
in the seminar room where anyone could walk in on them? That was insane. We
could get kicked out of the hotel. And it made me wetter yet.

Reaching between his legs, I squeezed his thick cock before
popping open the button of his jeans. I forced the zipper down as I slipped my
hand into his boxers. His erection twitched and throbbed against my palm.
Pre-cum smeared over the tip of his penis, sticky like honey.

I kissed down his neck, bending so that I could lick his
cock clean. Dean snagged my chin and brought me back up to kiss.

“I’ve got a condom in my wallet.” He fumbled behind him,
yanking his wallet free of his back jeans pocket.

“Another robe for Gandalf?” I grinned against his mouth and
gave him a few tugs.

Dean groaned as he chuckled. “Nope. Just Trojan. An eager
little warrior.”

“Nothing little about it.” I stroked him thrice more before
helping to free his erection so that he could slide the condom on.

“Flatterer.” He tossed his wallet on the table and opened
the package. The condom rolled on in less than two seconds. “You’re just saying
that because you want some nookie.”

“And I’m going to get it too.” I winked and giggled. He
pulled me off the table and slapped my rear before twisting me around so that
my back was to him.

Now it was his turn to pop open my jeans and dip a hand
inside. I sucked in a breath as his long fingers played in my creamy wetness. I
leaned my head back against his shoulder as he fingered me. His lips brushed
over my cheek.

“So wet and hot,” he murmured.

“The things you do to me,” I whispered and wiggled my rear
against him.

“And what you do to me.” He eased his soaked digits out of
me and rubbed my clit as he kissed my neck. Then he nudged me to bend over,
forcing my hands on the table so that I couldn’t touch him anymore.

Frustrating as that was, it was far more of a turn-on as I
glanced over my shoulder to catch him hungrily gazing upon my butt. He hooked
his thumbs on either side of my jeans and pushed them and my panties down to
mid-thigh. Hearing his grunt of approval caused my inner muscles clench. I
needed him. Had to have him. Now. Inside me.

Dean caressed my rear, following the curves of it with his
fingers. He sunk one digit into me and drew out my juices, trailing them along
my nether region to my anus. His finger circled my rim—I tensed, never before
having been touched in such a way.

He massaged my butt cheek with his other hand as the new
sensations tantalized me. Tingling and hot, I almost told him to take it
further, but then felt him poise his erection at the entrance of my pussy.

Later. There would always be later to explore more new
things. But now I wanted him pounding into me.

He didn’t disappoint.

Plunging into me, Dean teased no more. He held my hips,
slamming me against him as he moved. I cried out and then bit my lower lip to
keep from making any more loud noises.

I lowered myself onto my elbows to give me a stronger anchor
on the table. My whole body jolted with each magnificent thrust. I sizzled as
if sprinkled with stardust. And in the dust, a galactic-sized orgasm expanded,
ready to explode.

Each time our bodies slapped together, the echo in the small
room amplified it. Flesh meeting flesh, hot and wet. Matching the pounding of
my heart.

My hands curled into fists as stars danced behind my
eyelids. Biting harder on my lip, I couldn’t contain my moans and whimpers. And
when I hit that amazing climax, I smacked a hand over my mouth to keep in the
screams of ecstasy.

I was still shaking as his movements slowed and he released
my hips. He leaned forward, resting his head on my back. His chest heaved as he
carefully withdrew from me.

“You’re amazing.” He nuzzled my shoulder.

“You’re amazinger.” Yup, totally a word. Only when applied
to him, of course.

I flattened a cheek against the table, drinking in the
coolness. Laughter filtered in from the hallway, and we both bolted up. Oh
frak! Someone was going to catch us. I hiked up my pants and buttoned them closed
as he chucked the used condom into the garbage can and tucked himself back into
his jeans.

Then we stood frozen, waiting.

No one came to the door.

We burst out laughing. I leaned against him and kissed his
sexy mouth. “Maybe we ought to find the nearest bathroom and clean ourselves up
a bit.”

“Or we could go back to my room.” Dean raised his brows,
smirking, as he picked up his wallet and slid it back into his pocket. I might
have only known him for a few days, but I knew what that glint in his eyes meant.

“Oh yes.” Linking my hand with his, I smiled as he led the
way. I’d follow him anywhere just as long as he never let go.

Chapter Five

Geek girl problem #102: Wishing you could have sex in
the TARDIS but knowing that any phone booth you’re going to find isn’t going to
be bigger on the inside.

Saturday was a perfect day. I woke beside Dean and rode him
to a slow but powerful climax. Everyone met for brunch and the tension from the
previous day vanished. Even Emily and Russell laughed and smiled. Emily won the
costume contest dressed as Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. Dean managed to
sneak me away for a quickie in the afternoon.

Yup, a perfect day.

But as night rolled over the city, everything came crashing
down.

“You got married?” My head felt light. Was I going to faint?
Maybe if I bonked my head really hard, I could forget what I just heard.

“Yes!” Emily squealed and bounced on her toes. She held out
her left hand. The diamond glittered as it caught the fluorescent light. “It
was so romantic.”

Russell, in full fancy steampunk regalia, kissed his new
wife on the top of her head. “We found a Pastafarian who was legal. He
performed the ritual by the fountain outside the convention center.”

Beside me, Dean made a choking sound somewhere between a gasp
and a laugh. I refused to look at him. If he hadn’t been distracting me when
Emily texted with the invitation to come to the wedding, I would’ve been there
to stop it. This was insane!

“A Pastafarian? Seriously? The Church of the Flying
Spaghetti Monster can now legally marry people?” This had to be a joke. Please
let it be a joke!

“Yes! We’ll have to get a marriage license, of course—”
Emily stopped and then pouted. “Wait. You’re not happy for me?”

I repressed the urge to explode. Be calm. Talk some sense
into Emily. Her marriage to that smirking villain wasn’t really official yet. “Emily,
this isn’t like you. You didn’t have time to think this through. You were
caught up in a moment. You’re going to regret it later.”

“Not like me? It’s totally like me!” Emily stomped a foot
and sniffed back a few tears. “It’s just not like you. That’s why you don’t
understand. We’re in love.”

From squealing giggles to angry tears in ten seconds flat.
That was Emily. I gritted my teeth. “You can’t be in love. You just met him.”

“Love knows nothing about time.” Emily’s voice rose close to
shrieking. People stopped and stared. “Besides, we’ve known each other for a
long time online. We share the same passions, the same dreams. We’re compatible
on every level. You’re my best friend. You should be happy for me. I’m happy
for you that you’re having fun with Dean even though we all know that’s not
going to last.”

It hit me like a sucker punch to the gut. My eyes widened.
Dean laid a hand on my shoulder, but I shrugged it off. “What the fuck? This
has nothing to do with my relationship.”

Emily wiped her cheeks and folded her arms. “It has
everything to do with it in your mind. Since you can’t have happiness, you don’t
want me to have it.” She nudged Russell and started to walk away. “I don’t want
to talk about this anymore. It’s my wedding day. I want to have fun.”

“You’re being absolutely ridiculous! That—” villain,
bastard, asshole, “Russell has filled your head with idiotic notions.”

Emily spun around and pointed a finger at me. “Don’t you
dare say a thing about my husband.”

Russell slipped an arm around Emily’s slender shoulders and
turned her away. The brim of his hat cast ominous shadows over his face, and
his expression was unreadable except when he gazed down at his new wife. His
face softened with true affection and sympathy.

Gorram. He really did love Emily.

The crowd dispersed as Emily and Russell walked down the
convention center corridor. I didn’t move to follow. I didn’t want to fight
anymore. My shoulders sagged as I let out a long breath.

“Are you all right?” Dean hesitantly placed a hand on my
lower back.

I turned and hugged him. Tight. Did everyone really think we
wouldn’t work out? That it was just a con fling?

Russell had probably told everyone that I was going to break
it off with Dean since that’s what he’d said to do. In fact, he likely
fictionalized the whole thing, saying how fragile Dean’s heart was and how I
was the bitch who was going to crush him. Certainly he whispered all that crap
into Emily’s ear. Was this a game to him?

Oh god. A game. Gyrfalcon took Thorton on as a double agent.
The Governor then seduced Cora Osprey to get back at Gyrfalcon. It all made a
hideous sort of sense!

No. I was paranoid. Emily wouldn’t fall for a sweet-talking
guy. Russell cared for her.

If only I could pass it off as part of the game!

“Stop thinking what you’re thinking. Let’s go somewhere
quiet where you can relax.” Dean kissed my forehead and led me down the hall.

“How do you know what I’m thinking?” I narrowed my eyes, but
couldn’t hold the expression. I needed him. Not in the sexy way, but that was
always good. In the having someone to lean on and understand me sort of way.

“You’re tense. And you tend to jump to the worst possible
conclusions first.”

I opened my mouth to protest, but swiftly shut it. Okay,
maybe I did do that. My inner psychologist said I did it as a way of saving
myself from disappointment. Blah, blah, blah.

So why couldn’t I just be happy for Emily and Russell?

Because they were insane!

That wasn’t fair. They were both smart individuals. A little
dramatic and emotional. A little as in saying Jupiter was a tiny planet.

“Talk to me. What’s going on in that pretty head?” Dean led
me down a much less crowded corridor. “You know, if you’re worried about what
she said about you and me, don’t. No one can know where our relationship is
headed except you and me. We’re the ones who can make it work or screw it up.”

I stopped and gazed at him. Smart and gorgeous. How did I
get so lucky?

I kissed him lightly on the lips. “Thank you for that.”

If only I could lose myself in his eyes forever. With him,
nothing else mattered.

Actually, everything mattered. I wanted him in my life. How
were we going to make our relationship work if we lived so far from one
another? Both of us worked and went to school. It wasn’t as if we’d have a lot
of time to stare at each other over Skype. Definitely no time to travel that
distance back and forth often.

“You kissed me and then got sad. Do I taste funny? I swear I
didn’t eat that many sushi rolls at dinner.” Dean scooted us to the edge of the
hall, leaning against the wall with me as he caressed my cheek.

Goose bumps erupted over my arms. I tried to smile, but
couldn’t. “You’re right about what you said. And I really want for us to work.”
Really, really wanted it! “But long-distance relationships, they don’t last. I’ve
seen them fail again and again. I found the most perfect guy in the world, and
he lives a whole huge state away.”

My vision blurred. I held back the tears, just barely. My
heart felt as though it lodged itself in my throat. Why couldn’t I ever have
the happy ending?

“We don’t know it won’t last. We’ll both be done with school
in a year. It’s not that long. It isn’t even a full year. It’s nine months.”
There was a warbling edge to his voice. My arms wound around him. Why hadn’t I
thought it was hard on him too? How could I be so selfish?

“No, it isn’t that long.” There. I said it. Easier said than
done, of course, but if he could be strong about this, then I could too.

“We can call each other, Skype, email. Visit on the
holidays, and try for some weekends too.”

“And write letters. I’ve always liked real letters.” I
smiled.

“Yeah, me too.” Dean kissed me, nuzzling our noses.

Then just as intimately, I added, “I’m really going to miss
Gandalf, though.”

Dean’s eyes lit up as he laughed. He pinned me to the wall
and kissed me more deeply. “Not half as much as he’s going to miss you.”

Flames of desire scorched my flesh. I could not get enough
of this guy. His body was hard against mine as I ran my hands up his sides. I
would have this last night of the convention with him and enjoy it most
thoroughly.

His cell rang, and he started, pulling back from me. Dean
took the phone out of his pocket, and his lips thinned. “Sorry. I have to take
this.”

I nodded, suddenly feeling cold without him pressed to me. I
rubbed my arms as he quietly talked.

I didn’t think anything of him taking the call at first
until he turned from me as he chuckled. That low and sexy laugh I loved so
much. His body language changed from tense to relaxed as he talked about the
convention.

Likely a friend calling. I cocked my head to the side. A
female friend? I couldn’t hear the words, but it was definitely a woman’s
cadence.

A furious flash of jealousy zipped through me. He’d stopped
kissing me to talk to another woman?

No, no. That was silly. Maybe it was his mom or sister.
Anyway, girls and guys could be friends. I had friends that were men.

“My place. Tomorrow night. Can’t wait.” Dean then said his
goodbye and ended his call.

I bit my tongue. I didn’t dare let out the possessive alpha
werewolf. It would send Dean running and screaming down the hall to know I even
felt that way. Hell, I wanted to run and scream as I battled with my inner
werewolf that I had no clue existed before Dean!

Dean turned to face me and smiled. “That was my adviser.”

I nodded. His academic adviser was a woman and coming to his
place on a Sunday night? Not professional at all. That meant they were friends
or…

No. It didn’t mean anything like that. Dean wouldn’t do that
to me.

Why was the werewolf still growling?

“We’re working out a few things,” he added.

I nipped my bottom lip and nodded again. That so did not
sound innocent at all.

Taking my hand into his, Dean grinned. “Now, where were we?
I think we were about to head back to my room.”

An annoying urge to push him away irked me. There was
nothing going on with Dean and his adviser. Nothing. I shouldn’t feel this way.
It made me angrier that I did. No guy had ever provoked such emotions from me.

What I needed to do was let him take me back to his room and
then let my inner werewolf ravish him. Mark him so that everyone could see that
he was mine. I should be annoyed with that primitive urge too, but I quite
liked it.

I yanked him to me and kissed his supple lips. “I don’t know
if we could get there fast enough for my liking.”

Dean groaned with his breath hot against my mouth. “Then we’ll
have to run.”

I grinned, clasped my hand with his, and tugged him down the
hall. “Allons-y!”

Just like the Doctor and Rose, we ran down the hall and out
of the convention center. But unlike Rose, I knew I was going to get more than
a peek at his sonic screwdriver. I was going to screw him senseless!

We were breathing heavily by the time we got to the hotel
and hopped into an elevator. I didn’t wait for either of us to catch our
breaths. I pinned him to the wall and kissed him with ferocious passion. The
soft sound the elevator made as it jetted up was a little like the TARDIS. It
turned me on all the more.

Dean groaned and gripped my rear tight, digging his fingers
in to my cheeks.

The elevator dinged, and I slipped away from him. I stepped
out the door and crooked a finger. Much more like River Song than Rose, but I
could only hope I looked as alluring.

The door started to close. Dean darted forward, slamming a
hand against it, and followed me into the corridor. Long lashes shaded his
bedroom eyes that were so dilated they looked almost black. He patted his
pockets and finally drew out his room key. His hot gaze never left me.

I didn’t pause. I walked ahead of him and stopped to lean
against his door. My upper inner thighs clenched. I wanted him like I had no
one else before.

Dean stuck his card in the lock and slid his other hand up
my shirt even before he opened the door. We stumbled inside, him dropping his
key card, and almost ended up in the closet as our bodies slammed together with
another hot kiss.

“Hello, sweetie.” My voice hit the perfect husky tone. Every
inch of my body sizzled with the heat between us even though my goose bumps and
hard nipples suggested a different temperature.

He chuckled lowly and lifted my shirt, plucking one breast
from the cup of her bra. He bent his head so that his mouth engulfed the rosy
nub. He sucked hard, making me writhe against him. “The Doctor never had a
companion as hot as you.”

I melted at his words. How easily he made my legs all
rubbery and my heart pound.

I yanked his t-shirt over his head and tossed it toward the
door. My fingertips danced over his bare back as he continued to tease my
breasts. With both orbs uncovered, his mouth coaxed to further hardness
gleaming twin nipples erect and pleading for more attention.

I needed more. And I wasn’t going to beg for it.

Kicking off my shoes, I yanked open his jeans at the same
time and dragged him into the room. He kissed up my neck as he rid himself of
his sneakers too. We bumped into the bed, and I pushed him down onto it.

I paused, admiring his gorgeous body. No bulky barbarian
muscles. He was a lean and sexy swashbuckler. Fast and smooth, and, oh god,
look at that big cock.

I pulled his jeans and boxers off together before quickly
stripping myself. No tantalizing striptease tonight.

Dean reached for me, lips parted and panting. “Come here.”

Smirking, I avoided his hand and went down to my knees. I
licked up the length of his erection, staring at his flushed face the whole
while. His chin quivered as his thick rod twitched. I ran the flat of my tongue
up along it twice more before suckling on the tip.

I kissed his stomach as I rose just a little more, but not
all the way yet even when his hands tried to take me there. As eager as I was
to have him, there was one thing I wanted to do.
