Rob had been kidding about asking LaKeeta out on a date. He was pretty much sure his brother was really feeling her. Anthony's quick response had just confirmed that to him.

Rob picked up his bowling ball bag and slung it over his shoulder. “I think you'd better go ahead and make your move, Tony. Girls like her don't stay single and available for too long.”

Later on that evening, after he'd showered and gone to bed, Anthony frowned. He thought over what his brother had said about LaKeeta. He had to admit to himself that Rob had probably been right.

CHAPTER NUMBER SIX

A week later, Anthony took a seat on one of the pieces of machinery in the weight room. He was supposed to meet with LaKeeta that evening for her workout. He was thirty minutes early, so he’d decided to spend that time getting in a little workout himself.

He greeted the two men who were standing up at the leg lift machine directly across from him. The taller and more buff of the two smiled. “Yo, man….you’re the guy who’s training the chocolate bunny with the juicy, fat ass….right?”

Anthony frowned. Since LaKeeta was the only person who he’d trained in years, he was a hundred percent certain that the man was talking about her. However, he didn’t like the tone or the words that the man was using to talk about her.

The man seemed oblivious to the look of irritation that had settled on Anthony’s face. He continued. “What’s her name, man. I’d like to hit that.” Both of the men chuckled and high-fived one another.

The shorter guy nodded his head. “Yeah. I wonder if she’s into that menage a trois shit. She likes to leave here late. Maybe we can follow her home and show her a good time like we did that other girl.”

Obviously realizing that his friend had a big-ass mouth, the taller dude frowned. Then he gave Anthony a smile. “He was just kidding, man.” He cut his eyes at his friend. “Weren’t you dog?”

Realizing his mistake, the short guy immediately nodded his head. “Yeah, yeah. I was just kidding.”

Anthony nodded his head, then continued using the piece of equipment. He was starting to boil on the inside just thinking about the fact that the two men had probably followed some poor girl home from his gym and then taken advantage of her. It made him even angrier to think that they were maybe planning the same thing for LaKeeta. There was no way in hell that he was going to let that happen.

The taller guy stood. “Come on man, let’s bounce.”

As soon as they walked out of the room, Anthony stood and followed them. He quickly made his way down to the main atrium, taking the stairs two steps at a time, while the men took the elevator. He knew that the men would have to pass through the atrium in order to leave the facility. He made sure that they couldn’t see him. As soon as they’d passed out the front door, he made his way up to Amelia. She was working the front desk.

He had a very serious expression on his face when he said, “Amelia, those two guys who just walked out of here….do you think you can get their names?”

Amelia frowned at the look on Anthony’s face. She kind of suspected something was wrong. What, she didn’t know.

She nodded her head. “Of course I can. They came in about a half-hour ago. Let me look through the log of check-ins. It won't take but a couple of minutes.”

Five minutes later, Anthony stuffed the two names that Amelia had scribbled down on a piece of paper and handed to him into his pocket. He thanked Amelia, then made his way to his office. He sat behind his computer and skimmed through his personal contacts. He keyed into his cellphone the direct phone number to his high school friend, Brad Wilshire — who just happened to be a sergeant with the Houston Police Dept. By the time he’d gotten off the phone with Brad ten minutes later, the man had promised he’d do everything in his power to look into the two men’s backgrounds. After all, he owed Anthony a favor or two.

Anthony hopped up and made his way back to the main lobby. He gave LaKeeta a smile as she walked through the front door of the fitness center. For her protection, there was no way in hell that he could allow her to stay there, work out, and then drive herself home. He had no way of knowing what those two assholes who’d been in there earlier were capable of.

LaKeeta waved at Amelia and Jan behind the service desk, then gave Anthony a smile. “Hi, trainer. You ready for me today?”

Anthony had the slightest wish that she’d meant that in a sexual way for some reason, but he knew they didn’t have that type of relationship.

He gave her a smile. “Um, you remember I told you that I’d like to incorporate some off-site training into your program….right?”

She looked at him kinda funny, then gave him a tiny smile. “Uh, yeah….I do recall that.”

Well….I have a surprise for you. For your workout today, I'd like for us to go jogging at Hermann Park.” He smiled. “I’ll even treat you to dinner at that new Vietnamese health food place afterward. You know, the one off of Oceanview that you told me you wanted to try out.” He paused for a moment, then continued. “And tomorrow I’d like to take you canoeing at Buffalo Bayou.”

LaKeeta tilted her head and looked at him a little funny. This was all so out of the blue, but she heard herself saying, “Okay.”

Anthony nodded his head. “Good. You said you didn’t live too far away from here. Is it okay with you if I follow you to your place and you leave your car? Then I can drive us both to the park and I can drop you back off home after.”

She gave him a tiny smile. “My….aren’t you full of surprises today, Mr. Paulson?”

But they’re good surprises, so that makes all the difference in the world.”

LaKeeta wasn’t so sure that jogging in the park was such a good surprise, per se. But getting takeout from the Vietnamese Pho Shop would be. She loved Vietnamese food. It was often healthy and delicious. Problem was, the particular place she wanted to go to was expensive. She didn’t believe in spending fifty dollars for a plate of takeout. That was half of her grocery budget for a whole week.

She smiled again. “Okay, Anthony. You win. Good surprises make up for everything.”

As Jan watched Anthony open the front door for LaKeeta and escort her out of the center, she frowned. She didn’t like how her future man acted around the pretty, curvy girl.

She narrowed her eyes. In her estimation, LaKeeta Hunt was now a threat to her future.

CHAPTER NUMBER SEVEN

Two hours later, LaKeeta quickly washed and blow-dried her hair. Anthony had just dropped her off at her place — so that she could shower and get dressed. He'd said that he would be back in an hour. He was taking her out for a late dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant that he had promised to take her to after their workout.

She knew it wasn't a real date, but she couldn't seem to stop the butterflies from flitting about in her stomach.

As she reached into her closet and pulled out a deep red dress that accented her curves perfectly, she was happy that she was so organized. Everything that she needed to pull her look together was already neatly mapped out for her.

After she'd gotten dressed, she frowned at her reflection in her floor-length mirror, then smiled. She would've preferred to have set some curls in her shoulder-length hair for their date—
well it's not really a date
, she thought to herself. However, an hour was not going to allow her enough time for all of that.

Despite everything, she was pleased with her reflection and knew that she looked hot.

Ten minutes later, after he'd ushered her into his car, Anthony backed out of her driveway, then looked at her and smiled. He'd thought she was beautiful in her workout clothes. But dressed for dinner, he could tell that she was beyond gorgeous. “You look absolutely lovely, LaKeeta.”

She was pleased by his compliment and felt the slightest heat of a blush creeping into her cheeks. “Uh, thank you, Anthony.”

He nodded his head and willed his erection to calm down. “You're welcome.”

Fifteen minutes later, Lakeeta sat on the front patio of Vietnamese Pho Restaurant with Anthony. They were sitting at a cute little bistro table, under a huge umbrella watching the sunset and eating the dinner that Anthony had promised her.

She smiled. The jog in the park hadn’t been as bad as she’d thought it was going to be.

Anthony gave her a tiny grin. He loved to see a woman who was not afraid to enjoy her food. He’d gone out with plenty of women in the past who would have been fearful of even eating more than a few bites in public. “How’s the soup?”

LaKeeta added more fresh cilantro to her bowl of broth, veggies, and wheat noodles. “It’s good. How are your prawns?”

He nodded his head. “Excellent.” His eyes met hers. “Wanna share?”

She smiled. “Sure.”

So, LaKeeta. Have you lived in Houston all your life?”

She shook her head. “Most of it. I spent about eight years in Fort Lauderdale during my teen years and for college. Other than that, I’ve been right here in Space City.” Her eyes met his. “What about you? You been here in Houston forever and a day?”

He smiled. “Kind of. Like you, I’ve spent most of my life here as well. I was born here and finished all of my grade school years here.” He paused for a moment. “Well, not within the city itself but just outside of it in Pasadena.”

Oh, Pasadena. I’ve always wanted to go there. I had a friend back in the third or fourth grade. She always used to talk about her grandparents having a farm in Pasadena. According to her, she had a pony named Trixie and would ride her every weekend.” LaKeeta smiled. “I was so freaking jealous.”

Anthony nodded his head and smiled. “Do you ride?”

Nope. Always wished I could though.” She took a sip of her tea then looked down at her wristwatch. “Whoa, it’s past eleven o’clock. Have we really been out here two hours?”

He smiled. “Yep. ‘Fraid so. Did you have plans for a hot date tonight or something?”

She swirled her tea around, then looked into her glass kind of pensively. “Nope. I haven’t been on a hot date in awhile. Prince Charmings are hard to come by for a girl nowadays.”

She looked up and his eyes met hers. They stared at each other for several seconds. For some reason, LaKeeta just wasn’t able to look away.

You looking for a Prince Charming, LaKeeta?”

She gave him a tiny smile. “Isn’t every girl?”

The spell seemed to have been broken when their waitress came to the table asking if they needed anything else. LaKeeta gave the pretty Oriental girl a smile. “No, I don’t think I need anything else. I think we’re about ready to call it a night.”

The girl grinned. “What about your husband?” Then the woman turned to Anthony. “Can I get you anything else?”

It was on the tip of LaKeeta’s tongue to correct the waitress, but before she could say anything to the contrary, Anthony had said, “No, I'm fine. I don’t need anything more.”

Minutes later, Anthony left a very generous tip on the table, then escorted LaKeeta out to his car. After he’d settled her into the very comfortable passenger-side seat of his Mercedes-Benz, she turned to him on the driver’s side. She had a frown on her face. “Why didn’t you correct the waitress back there when she assumed that we were husband and wife?”

He merged into the traffic on the street. He couldn’t tell her the truth. That it had made him feel some strange, good feelings deep within when the waitress had assumed they were married. He’d only known LaKeeta a couple of weeks, so him having those feelings had surprised the hell out of him. If he didn’t know any better, he’d think that he was starting to fall for her.

He maneuvered the car onto the interstate. “Did it bother you that I didn’t correct her?”

In all honesty, it hadn’t bothered LaKeeta at all. In fact, she’d felt quite the opposite about the little mishap.

She shook her head, then knitted her fingers in her lap. “No. It didn’t bother me, Anthony,” she said quietly.

Keeping his eyes on the road, he smiled. “Good.”

Ten minutes later, he pulled into her driveway and cut the engine. He turned to her and grinned. “Thank you for letting me change your workout plans for today, and thank you for going out to the restaurant with me. I’ve been wanting to try that place out for awhile.”

She really felt as if she should have been thanking him instead. However, she nodded her head and said, “No problem. I enjoyed both.”

There was an awkward silence between them for a few seconds, then she sighed. “Well, I guess I’d better be getting inside.”

Of course.”

She wasn’t surprised when Anthony got out of the car, then came around to her side to help her out.
He’s such a gentleman
, she thought to herself when he reached out his hand for her key so that he could let her into the house.

The minute her hand connected with his, LaKeeta felt that twinge that she always did when they inadvertently touched one another. But this time, she was certain that he’d felt it, too — she could tell from the look in his eyes when his gray ones met her brown ones. They stared at each other for several seconds, almost as if they were caught in a trance.

Oh shit, he’s going to kiss me
, was her last thought, right before he crushed her lips with his own. Everything happened so quickly. Before she knew it, she and Anthony were inside her foyer with the front door closed behind them. All she could think  was that his lips felt so good, and that his hands—one placed firmly on her buttock, the other caressing her breast—felt like heaven.

She didn't protest when he moved his hand upwards and pulled down the zipper to her dress. The dress puddled around her ankles on the floor and he buried his face between her ample breast.

Just like he'd needed to feel her bare flesh, she needed to feel him to. She pulled his button-down shirt from his waistband and allowed her hands to explore the muscular planes of his bare back.

When he pushed her lacy bra aside and began suckling on her nipple, she tilted her head back and whispered his name.

By this time, his other hand had worked its way between her thighs. Her legs turned to rubber as he palmed her mound and began rubbing his thumb back and forth over her clit.

All Anthony could think about was how deliciously wet she was. It was a no-brainer to him to drop down on his knees and bury his face into her bush.

LaKeeta threaded her fingers through his thick, wavy hair as he quickly went to work lapping at her sopping wet slit.

“Oh shit,” she moaned under her breath as his tongue penetrated her cunt.

Anthony couldn't get enough of her. Everything about LaKeeta turned him on. From the taste of her pussy to the way she moaned his name.

It didn't take long for her to begin bucking her hips into his face, and he was loving every second of it. When she screamed his name and began to tremble, he knew she was on the verge of cumming. He pulled his face away from her fiery furnace—but only slightly—and enjoyed the display of emotions on her beautiful face as she came. Seconds later, he smiled and licked up her tangy juices as his reward.

As she slowly came down from her erotic high, he scooped her up into his arms. “Which way to your bedroom?” he whispered into her ear. She quickly pointed out the way.

LaKeeta was well aware at that point that she should have put an end to what was happening between them. But she honestly didn't want to.

It's been such a long time since I've had a man to satisfy me in this way
, she thought to herself as he carefully laid her down in the middle of her king-sized bed.

“Do you want this?” was his question as he placed her hand over the hard, warm lump between his legs.

She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feeling of his manhood under her hand. Hell yeah she wanted it, she'd been dreaming about having his cock in some form or fashion almost everyday.

She licked her lips and nodded her head. “Yes. I want it. Okay?”

He grinned as her hands began to fumble with his zipper, anxious to release his dick. As soon as his cock sprang away from the confines of his boxers, LaKeeta dipped her head and wrapped her lips around his pole. It was as if she couldn't stop herself—that's how bad she wanted him.

Straddling her face on his knees, he fed more and more of his throbbing cock down her throat. He was more than certain that she would stop him and gag when his dick slid past her tonsils, but she didn't. She didn't a funny little thing with her mouth and swallowed more and more of his pole.

Anthony slit his eyes and bent to grab a handful of her plump brown titties. He pinched her nipples into tight buds as her body writhed under his. Every time he would pull away from her beautiful face, she'd suck on his dick even harder, forcing more and more of his thick cock deeper into her throat.

LaKeeta was in heaven with this dick in her mouth. Her whole body was tingling and on fire. She'd never had an orgasm from sucking cock, but she'd heard that it was possible. From the throbbing ache in her pussy, she was more than certain that her cunt was on the verge of exploding with pleasure.

When she reached up and began massaging his balls, Anthony had taken more than he could bear. He let out a sound that was somewhere between a grunt and a growl. He slammed into her gorgeous face one final time and released his load.

Minutes later, they were both breathing heavily when she finally loosened the tight grip that her lips had had on his cock and he pulled his dick out of her mouth.

From the exertion of her workout and now their little sexual tryst, LaKeeta was worn out. She didn't protest when he pulled her against his side.

She closed her eyes and sighed. Before she'd known it, she'd drifted off into a very fitful sleep.
