In that instant, he fell victim to her love,
became her slave. She could do whatever she wanted to him. Make him
do anything. He'd comply; hold nothing back from the meadow
lover.
Moving inside her was heaven on earth.
Mountains held nothing against her heights. He could soar from her
top and float for days before he reached the ground.
Stroke by stroke, they moved to the soft
rhythm of the rustling tree branches. He buried his nose in her
hair, inhaled the faint scent of lilacs, possibly from scented
water used to rinse her hair.
No detail had been overlooked when she'd
prepared to take a lover. She spared no expense for their love
play. Nor had she failed to please him.
Grasping the blanket, he balled his hands
into fists and quickened the pace. She matched his speed, dug one
hand into his hair and wrapped the other around his back. Their
chests clung to each other in the humidity of the sun and their
lovemaking.
His heart thundered in his chest and his
lungs burnt. What little oxygen had stirred in the stifling heat
dissipated. He fought for breath, still thrusting inside her
warmth.
Writhing beneath him, she screamed again,
this time in his ear. Her tight cunny squeezed his cock in hot,
fast waves.
Hunger blazed in her eyes. She pushed him in
a sitting position, his shaft still buried inside. Her legs slipped
around his waist and she rode his cock.
Magnificent breasts bounced in his face. He
nipped at one nipple, tugged on it as she rose up and down the
length of him.
Her movements came hard and fast, pounding
against him, taking what she wanted. Nails dug into the soft flesh
of his back. Juices flowed down his thighs. Her tight ass slapped
his balls.
He grabbed her ass, squeezed it as he helped
keep her pace up by pumping her body on his cock.
He gritted his teeth and tried to hold back
the pressure building. High pitched moans pierced his ears, pushing
him over the edge. His seed exploded out in long hard bursts.
"Oh, God!" He bit his lip so the words were
muddled. Maybe she had mistaken them for moans because she didn't
stop. Instead, she squeezed him again as her ecstasy came one more
time.
Panting, she collapsed against his chest and
he held her quivering body tight, fighting for his own breath.
When his lungs calmed and her quivering
subsided, he guided her to lie beside him in the crook of his arm
and held her until he dozed off.
Chapter 3
The sun had started its descent when Lucas
awoke from his after-love-making nap. He looked around, but the
meadow lover was gone. She'd left no trace of her existence behind
in her flight.
He rose, threw on his breeches and tunic and
gathered the rest of his things with the plan to change into normal
clothes in the car. Colleen would be home soon and he needed to
make a few stops before he went home.
The corner grocery store carried stargazer
lilies, Colleen's favorites, and he didn't want to go home empty
handed after what had happened today.
When he arrived home, he gathered the
arrangement and carried them in to the bathroom. He showered,
washing off the smell of the meadow lover, dressed and looked for
his wife.
He found her, standing just inside the door
of the empty second bedroom. Tears ran down her cheeks.
Without a word, he went back to the bathroom
and drew a steaming hot bath and poured relaxing salts in it. Then
he sat the vase of lilies on the ledge of the whirlpool tub and lit
some candles.
He went back to the second bedroom, knowing
he'd find her still there, thinking of the child they didn't have.
Slipping his arms around her waist, she leaned into him, his hands
resting on her belly.
"Honey, it'll happen," he whispered into her
hair. "We'll have a baby one day. You know the doctor said stress
wasn't good for you."
She sobbed and nodded.
Saddened he couldn't take her pain away,
he’d vowed months ago to do all he could to ease it, but nothing
seemed to work.
"I ran you a hot bath. Why don't you go
relax? I'm sure you had a hard day. I'll fix dinner, tonight." He
kissed her temple and plucked a piece of a wheat stalk from her
hair. "I'll even wash your hair with that lilac shampoo you
like."
"No, thank you. Dinner will be enough. I'd
like to be alone for awhile." She gave him the habitual peck on the
cheek and disappeared into the bathroom, muttering behind her. “Who
says I can’t please my man?”
