“Please don’t act like ‘dat, baby. You know I love me some you.”

She sighed with frustration. “Yeah right. Obviously you love them streets that you left me for even more.”

Hearing her say that made him feel like shit. Going away and leaving her was the last thing he ever wanted to do.

“I was tryin’ to make a better life for us. But don’t worry, that was the old Dre.”

“You out?” she asked when she heard the radio playing in the background.

“Yes, I’m out and actually headed your way. Can I come see you?”

“You think you can just call and pick up where we left off?”

“No, I’d be a fool to think ‘dat, but I still wanna see you. I’ve missed you.”

Once again there was dead silence.

“Look, I’m not in the mood for you and all your bullshit right now,” she replied. “Besides, you might get your feelings hurt if you come see me.”

“Why?” Dre questioned.

“Because I’m involved with someone else.”

“So…I’m not trippin’ off ‘dat shit.” Dre quickly shot back. “Now, are you gonna let me come over when I get there or what?” He looked at the clock on the dashboard. “It’s ten minutes after seven. I should be there around ten.”

“I’ll be asleep by then.”

“Asleep? Stop lyin’. You ain’t never went to bed that early. I know you still a night owl.”

She sucked her teeth. “You ain’t shit Dre, but you always did have some good dick and I could use some of it right now. I’ll text you my address.”

Click.

Smiling so hard his cheeks hurt, Dre was super excited about getting paid and getting his girl back. Her remark about being involved with someone else didn’t sit right with him. He still loved her and wasn’t going to let another man take his place.

“I’ll hurt the nigga if he gets in my damn way,” he said to himself.

After walking up to his girl’s door, Dre let out a huge sigh as if he was going out on his first date. He was actually nervous about seeing her and wiped his sweaty palms on his shirt trying to get himself together. It had been over a year since he’d seen her so the butterflies in his stomach would not go away. As tired as he was from the long nine hour drive, the excitement from seeing his girl gave him an instant rush.

He’d stopped by the store and picked up some flowers a bottle of wine and even managed to find a small jewelry store and picked out a cute silver necklace with a diamond heart. He wanted to show her just how much he’d missed her.

Taking a deep breath, Dre knocked on the door as the butterflies continued to swarm around his stomach. Hoping she hadn’t changed her mind, he patiently waited for her to come to the door.

Moments later, Mercedes slowly opened the door and surprisingly jumped into his arms. Dropping all the goodies he had on her living room floor, Dre hugged her warm body. She was wearing a short, black t-shirt with the word,
Hottie
on the front along with some black lace panties. She was still sexy as hell, which immediately turned him on.

Even though Dre was surprised by her actions, he brushed it off not caring about the past, and focused on his rock hard dick. He hadn’t had sex in eighteen months and planned to blow her back out.

“Hey, Baby Girl,” he whispered in her ear. “You still gorgeous.”

The two kissed passionately as he carried her in the direction that looked like it lead to the bedroom. While going down the long narrow hallway he looked around and couldn’t help but notice how dirty her place was. It was shit everywhere.

Damn, I don’t remember her bein’ ‘dis nasty
, he thought.

Trying to block it out of his mind, they continued kissing as Dre kicked the bedroom door open, then laid Mercedes on the bed and removed her panties. He rubbed his hands across her smooth skin and sniffed her body. Her natural body scent was more seductive than any perfume. One of the things he missed almost as much as pussy while locked up was the smell of a woman. Dre couldn’t wait to taste her as he made his way down to her wetness and softly sucked her outer lips, savoring every moment.

“You must’ve forgotten how to eat pussy with all that soft licking shit. Eat my pussy like you missed it!” Mercedes demanded with authority.

Like a trained student, Dre dove in head first sucking and licking with aggression. When he did circular motions with his tongue across her clit, Mercedes moaned in pleasure letting him know she was now satisfied. After thrusting his tongue in and out and licking her juices, Dre began to stroke his dick with his free hand.

When he could no longer control himself he told her, “Turn around baby.”

He knew Mercedes loved to be fucked doggie style as she smiled, turned around and got on all fours. With her hands, she reached behind and spread her ass cheeks wide open.

“You better act like you missed this. You know I like it rough!”

Dre slapped her firm ass before entering her pussy from behind giving her all ten inches. She arched her back as he went deeper with his strokes. She knew how to tighten her pussy on his dick driving him crazy.

“Damn Baby Girl, I missed ‘dis pussy,” Dre mumbled.

She felt so good, he was close to exploding, but he held it as long as he could. He knew she would go the hell off if he came too soon. When he heard her yell out that she was cumming, that was his green light as he too began to shake uncontrollably.

“I want ‘dis pussy to be all mine,” Dre moaned as he released.

And not give Justice anymore of this…I don’t think so
, Mercedes thought.

They both collapsed taking a short intermission before the next sex session began.

The next morning, Dre woke up to the smell of bacon. He laid in bed and smiled thinking;
my baby must be hungry after the wild night of sex we had.
He’d almost forgotten just how kinky she was. His dick got hard just thinking about how warm and cozy her pussy was.

“I could use some of her lovin’ right now,” Dre said, rubbing his manhood.

He couldn’t believe that Mercedes had finally answered his call and allowed him to come over after all this time. He also couldn’t help but wonder what the change of heart was all about.

Thinking back to when they first met, Dre could admit that he had love for Mercedes ever since he laid eyes on her years ago. He was at a party hosted by her boyfriend, Quentin a well known dealer in Atlanta who was also his connect. That particular night, Dre remembered Mercedes walking into the living room and asking him where valet should park the extra cars. He was shocked when Quentin literally cursed her out in front of everyone, called her stupid, then excused himself from the party. Dre couldn’t believe the way he spoke to her, and hoped his boy knew how lucky he was to have such a beautiful woman in his life.

An hour later, a tipsy Dre walked around their huge house in search of the bathroom. However, instead of finding it, he found a badly beaten and hysterical Mercedes instead.

He felt bad as she cried like a newborn baby in the doorway of their kitchen. Dre wished like hell he could tell her everything would be alright, but he wasn’t into giving anyone false hopes. So, he did the only thing he could think of to somewhat ensure her safety.

“Here, take my keys and go hide in my truck, it’s the black Yukon Denali. I got a blanket in the back seat. Get underneath it. I’ll knock on the window three times to let you know it’s me. Then we can get you to safety.”

A little hesitant at first, Mercedes eventually took the keys, secretly made her way to the back door then limped toward his truck as Dre watched to make sure Quentin wasn’t coming. Dre returned to the party as if nothing happened, but ultimately slipped out the backdoor himself a few minutes later.

After safely making it away from her house, he drove Mercedes to his place where it took days to nurse her back to health. Dre was highly respected and had a lot of clout in the streets. He was known for shooting nigga’s first and asking questions later. So when Quentin came looking for her a few days later, the two had a confrontation. Dre ultimately threatened to harm his mother if he didn’t leave Mercedes alone, and just like the punk he was…Quentin backed off. It wasn’t long before Dre and Mercedes became a couple. He even took her to North Carolina to get her sons, whom she hadn’t seen in months due to Quentin’s controlling ways. They were happy for awhile. Unfortunately his decision to go to Miami got in the way of their once blissful relationship.

Dre heard his phone ringing. After grabbing and seeing the 305 area code, he knew it was probably Sandino.

“Hello,” he answered.

“What’s up Dre? Just checkin’ to see if you made it safely.”

“Yeah, I’m here, just woke up actually.”

“Well, get your ass up and hit them streets. You got shit to handle, time is money,” Sandino said.

“I’m on it man. I’ll hit you up as soon as I have some info.”

“Alright my nigga,” Sandino replied then ended the call.

Dre rolled over in bed and rubbed the sheets. He definitely planned to go eat and bring Mercedes back to bed so they could fuck all day. He had a lot of catching up to do, so finding Sandino’s wife would have to go on the back burner for now.

After getting out of bed, he put on his underwear and looked around her room. It was a mess just like the rest of the apartment.

“She needs to clean ‘dis shit up.” He wondered why she was no longer living in the nice apartment he’d set her up in before he left for Florida. “This place is a fuckin’ dump.”

When Dre walked into the dining room, he was surprised to see Mercedes sitting at the table eating and reading a magazine. She completely ignored the other dirty cups and plates sitting on the table in front of her.

He walked over and tried to plant a huge kiss on her lips, but she moved her head away.

“So, it’s like ‘dat? Where my food at? You didn’t fix me a plate?” he inquired.

She grabbed a piece of bacon and put it in her mouth.

“Hold up…that looks like pork bacon. Guess you forget I only eat turkey bacon,” he continued.

“First of all, I didn’t cook you shit and secondly I don’t give a damn what you eat. It’s time for you to get the fuck out of here anyway. And make sure you take this cheap, fake-ass necklace with you,” she said, rolling her eyes.

Mercedes tossed the necklace on the floor and continued to flip through the magazine.

Dre looked completely confused. “What the hell did I miss? Why are you actin’ like ‘dis? I thought we had a good time last night?”

“We did have a good time. Your dick was good as usual. It was just what I needed right now.”

“Baby Girl, I know you still mad at me for leavin’, but it wasn’t the place for you or the boys. You need to let ‘dat shit go so we can work ‘dis out. If you would’a answered my calls you would know ‘dis by now. I’ve been tryin’ to explain ‘dis shit to you for over a year,” Dre pleaded. He suddenly remembered that he hadn’t seen her sons. “Where are the boys anyway?” he asked.

Mercedes looked up from the magazine with an annoyed expression. “They’re in jail on drug charges and the reason I didn’t except your fucking calls was because I told you that I found someone else to take your place!”

Dre’s eyes enlarged. He was shocked to find out about Joey and Manny, but also surprised that Mercedes wasn’t joking about her moving on. “Oh, really.”

“Yes. What…did you expect me to wait for you? Please. That shit would’ve never happened.”

“So, who is it?”

“Does it even matter Dre?

“Yes it does. Who the fuck is it?

“Your brother!” Mercedes yelled out.

Chapter 20

Dre stood in shock after hearing Mercedes last words. He was trying to get his self together and understand what was going on. It took every ounce of his strength not to slap the shit out of her.

“Mercedes, what the fuck you mean, my brother?”

“You heard me. Since you ran off and left me I moved the fuck on with my life.”

He sat down.
Even though me and Mercedes weren’t headed down the aisle, she was the closest thing to being my wife. That shit is foul that my brother moved in on my territory.

“Dre, do you know that when you left town, I ran back into Quentin at South Dekalb Mall, and he literally whooped my ass in the food court. I was in the hospital for two weeks. Luckily Justice was there for me. He hid me and the boys until they locked Quentin up.

“I’m sorry, Baby Girl. I had no idea,” Dre said.

Mercedes shrugged her shoulders like she didn’t care. “Justice and I are in love. I was pregnant with his baby but suffered a miscarriage.” She took a deep breath. “We’re planning to get married really soon, so consider us officially over,” Mercedes said in a firm and convincing tone. Dre never knew she was lying.

Seconds later, she walked into her bedroom and closed the door.

Her statement took Dre totally off guard. It was the last thing he expected her to tell him. He also couldn’t believe that Mercedes was throwing the fact that she was with Justice up in his face. Needing to get to the bottom of this, he grabbed the phone and immediately called his brother.

When Justice answered the phone he was glad to hear from Dre, especially since Justice didn’t know Dre was out of jail. His nonchalant behavior made Dre wonder if Mercedes was telling the truth or if she was just trying to get back at him for leaving her. The brothers talked for a few minutes before Dre suggested they meet up. Agreeing, Justice gave Dre the address and told him to come by his job. He also gave him the code to the front door, so Dre wouldn’t have to wait outside. Now that Mercedes was no longer working there, Justice didn’t have time to keep running to the door, and didn’t allow his occupants to answer it under any circumstances.

In a hurry, Dre went to go grab his clothes out of Mercedes’ bedroom. He was just about to knock when the door swung wide open. He watched as she came out wearing a long wedding dress and a veil.
