“This is Rosalyn Brooks. She is a very talented, up and coming writer. She sold a brilliant script to a major studio, and that is how we met. That is how I fell in love with her,” I said.

As soon as I said it there was an uproar from all the photographers as they bombarded us with questions. They had never heard such things come out of my mouth before so it was big news. Rosalyn looked at me in shock, not expecting those words to come out of my mouth. Then sighed and she was nearly in tears as she smiled at me. It was a smile of love.

“Let's get out of here before it gets really out of hand,” I said as I stood up and put her hand in mine to lead her away. I had done it. Over breakfast in a very subtle way, I was able to tell the world that I was no longer an available womanizing bachelor. This was the woman for me.

ROSALYN

The last forty eight hours had been the most intense of my life. I had gone from enjoying the most epic sensual experience of my life with my dream Hollywood crush, to him saying things to me I never thought he would say. In bed after our first sexual encounter, I was in the process of feeling so grateful that I was able to have this experience in my life. I was so grateful that this was my reality right in this moment. It was overwhelming to me. I thought that I would burst from joy, then Jackson turned to me and said something that I had hoped he would say to me ever since I was a teenager. Back then, I never thought it was possible that I would ever meet my Hollywood crush, and that such a motorcycle bad boy would be into me. It just seemed so out of reach. But he looked at me and said, “Where have you been all my life?”

I looked over at him startled by his choice of words, because in a way I had been trying to get to him all my life. My eyes started to water in this magical moment. I felt like I had crossed decades of time to get to him and now he was acknowledging that he had been waiting for me. It was a surreal moment and I decided to just be honest and answer, “I have been trying to get here for years. I have been trying to get to you, or at least my heart has. I guess I just didn't think it was possible, so I never took any action towards it, except for following my passion of writing… That’s what eventually led me to you,” I said so full of emotion that I could barely get the words out. I took a chance saying those words, and it made me feel very vulnerable. I didn't know how he would react to it. Would he think I was crazy? Did I come off like a stalker? But then he reacted in a kind and loving way. He turned on his side and spooned me putting his hand around my waist and pulling me to him. He kissed me and moaned as though feeling some sort of relief and satisfaction over having found me. This is how we fell asleep; turned on my side, spooning her body and kissing her, pulling her close to me.  But this was not the end of it. This was nowhere near the end of the surprises Jackson would dish out to me. The next day he surprised me even more by taking me to breakfast in a place that he knew we would be seen… not just by people… but by the world. Anytime the paparazzi were around, photos and video clips were uploaded that day online, and word spreads fast. I guess I could understand him wanting to share this moment with the world after being a bachelor for so long and not thinking love was possible… But I didn't know that he would declare love for me in front of everyone. It startled me, scared me, and made me the happiest woman in the world.

“Who is the lovely lady?” A photographer yelled as they took our photograph and recorded video. I felt myself go bright pink as the photographer shouted out the question amongst the many questions that would be shouted at us. It was complete chaos and I don't know how Jackson dealt with this on a daily basis. It was very intrusive. I didn't want him to say anything about me, because I was a very private person. However what he ended up saying was the biggest surprise of my life, and I didn't care about being a private person or keeping things between us. The only thing I cared about in that moment were his words.

“This is Rosalyn Brooks. She is a very talented, up and coming writer. She sold a brilliant script to a major studio, and that is how we met. That is how I fell in love with her,” he said so proudly that it was almost like a parent, boasting that their kid had won their soccer game. I was startled that he was complementing my writing and made a point to make sure that the screenplay sale came first, and then we met. That was important to me. However, it was him saying out loud, “that is how I found and fell in love with her,” that took me by surprise. He had not told me that he loved me until this very second, and the fact that he was telling me in front of the world and it was being documented was a very, very, special to me. It was as though he was declaring that he was off the market to all the women in the world. It was as though he was declaring that he was deeply in love with me and had finally found his one true woman. I looked at him and almost burst into tears at his words I started to panic, as I did not want to be a crying mess in front of everyone. He got the hint and smiled at me and put my hand in his and led me inside.

Once we made it back to the house, we didn't leave again for 10 days. We retreated into our own world, and nothing else existed. I didn't know what the world thought of Jackson's declaration of love for me, and I didn't care. We didn’t once turn on the television other than to watch a movie or two but never on broadcast television or cable. So we weren't exposed to any outside media. We stayed offline, and all we did was eat gourmet meals, swim in his swimming pool, and have lots and lots of sex. I only received one phone call from my producer, Dan, warning me to be careful, but it was a brief phone call and he seemed genuinely happy for me. He knew that it was not his place to make any statements about my personal life. We were living in our own private heaven at Jackson's house, having everything delivered and never having to leave. It was perfect. I could live like this forever, staying in his arms, and having him act like he could not keep his hands off of me. I had never felt sexier.

“They will probably send a rescue party for us, my producer and staff that is…” He said playfully as we sat around the kitchen counter drinking tea. I just laughed because it was probably true.

“You are right, perhaps we should get some fresh air?” I said.

“Great, let's go eat dinner at boa, they have good food.” He said.

“Okay, let me slip into a dress,” I said.

“Yes, I'll get dressed too and I'll take my Porsche so that we can both be dressed properly for once,” he said.

“Good idea, I don't think my silk dress would do well on your motorcycle as fun as I find those rides to be.” I said, thinking about the very first ride I had taken with him, as the vibrations and being that close to my dream man made me have an orgasm. I secretly smiled to myself. I got dressed in his room, because by this time I had moved from the guestroom into his master bedroom. It was exactly what I had hoped would happen when I first moved into this house, I just didn't allow myself to believe it was possible because I did not want to get my hopes up.

An hour later we were seated at the gourmet and fancy, trendy restaurant called boa; everyone who was everyone came here. It was a very Hollywood celebrity place to be, and of course the paparazzi were always in full affect. We sat lovingly, having a good time eating a delicious meal and holding hands for all to see and not caring what anyone thought. It was a perfect night... until a nightmare showed up.

“I can't believe you are doing this to me…” A voice said from behind me. I knew who it was before I even turned around. I was mortified that she was going to cause such a scene in a public restaurant. Her voice was low, but her presence was very daunting and everyone was looking. She was a very, very famous actress and very tall, it was hard not to look at her when she walked into a room. Now she was attacking us, or Jackson I should say.

Jackson looked up startled, and then a look of anger came over his face. “Walk away, this isn't the place Casey,” he said in a very low voice with anger.

“Why! Are you scared I'm going to embarrass you in front of your new… what did you call her, love? Did you do that in front of the paparazzi for me to see? Are you trying to make me jealous so that I come back to you?” She said as her voice got louder and louder. The restaurant got quieter as more and more people stopped talking and turned to listen to the spectacle that was happening. Jackson stood up in his seat and I was very frightened at what was happening. This woman was crazy, and she had no shame in making a scene. Obviously it was the effect that she wanted. Jackson put his hand out to me and said, “let's go.” I stood up from my chair and put my hand in his as he walked me out. This only made Casey Caster angrier and she began to shout as we left the restaurant. “I am the one you love! Not her! We are meant to be together… You'll be back!” She shouted.

I was so shaken up by the experience that I was just completely quiet as adrenaline rushed through my body, making me shake like a leaf. We both sat in the car on the way home in complete silence. Once we got inside the house Jackson looked at me and said, “I hope you believe me when I say I have not talked to her since that one day she walked in on us. You do see why she did that tonight? She saw me declare my love for you, and she means to tear us apart by embarrassing both of us. I am not encouraging her, and I don't want you to think what she said was true. I did not declare my love for you in public to make her jealous… I never think of her,” he said very seriously with a frown on his face thinking that I would walk out on him.

“I know, I know,” I said as I hugged him and wrapped my arms lovingly around him. “I see you, the real you. I know who you are, I've always known. I know you wouldn't do that to me. She is an insane woman that has been hurt by love. Nothing to do with us really,” I said reassuring him that I was on his side and I saw things for what they truly were. He sighed a deep sigh of relief and hugged me back. “I am so sorry to put you through that once more, and this time it wasn't public. I'm going to call my publicist right now and do damage control.” He said as he took my hand and lead me into the living room where we both sat on the couch and he sat on the phone with his publicist doing business.

The next day I got the full extent of what really happened, when something like a scandal broke out.

“The studio has seen footage of the restaurant incident, and they are worried,” Dan said to me over the phone. My heart fell to my stomach as I realized that the studio might not want a project in which Jackson and I were working together if drama was following us arround. They had canceled projects before on other stars because of this type of thing.

“Oh shit. Is there anything that I can do? Is there anything that Jackson can do?” I asked Dan.

“I am trying to figure something out,” he said.

“Okay, call me if they want to have a meeting about this,” I said as I hung up the phone.

I suddenly felt a lot of fear, it was possible that indulging myself in love had ruined my career.

JACKSON

I was absolutely enraged at Casey for pulling such a stunt. It was not beyond her to do this. First she showed up at my house making a scene. Now after my declaration of love for Rosalyn was public and everyone knew, she made it a point to make a scene in public. This is what I get for becoming involved with a bad girl… At the time I thought it was what a bad boy like me wanted. I always thought that her aloofness and bitchy behavior was a challenge. Now I know that was immature, and I finally saw her for who she really was, just a plain crazy bitch. Now I had to do some serious damage control, talking on the phone with my publicist. I knew that there was not a lot that could be done. Now that everyone had cameras on their phone, people were quick to press record as soon as Casey walked up to our table. Now that video was everywhere online.

“That was my producer, the studio is thinking of dropping our project because of the drama,” Rosalyn said in the saddest voice I had ever heard come out of her. It nearly broke my heart to see her unhappy. I knew exactly what I had to do. I had planned on doing it anyway, but now it would help clean up this mess, and it would shut Casey down once and for all.

“That makes me very upset,” I said as I hugged her and gave her some comfort.

“I can't believe they would do that over something so stupid and small,” she said to me in a weak voice.

“Stay here I will be right back,” I said to her as I went to my room and rummaged through my bag. I came back into the room, and I wanted to put a smile back on her face. "Look, I thought about how and where to do this, but here in my home where so much has happened between us is what brought us together, and this house seems to be the right place. Especially, because it is one of the only places that we have privacy, and I want this to be between you and me… for us to enjoy the moment. I pulled the small box out of my pocket and opened it, revealing an emerald and sapphire engagement ring. Rosalyn jumped up and put her hands on her face in shock.
