“I think I can come without much effort, I’m
so horny right now.” Her mouth moved against his neck.

“Really?”

Without hesitation, John walked into the cool
lake. He continued in until the water was at his waist, and Sammy
gasped at the feel of the water lapping against her hot skin. Then,
without warning, he lowered her to her feet. His hands moved to her
breasts and he began caressing them. She arched the lower half of
her body into his hard cock and rubbed herself against it like a
hungry kitten. His gruff laugh was followed by him taking control,
even as he lost it.

Sammy found herself spun around, and then
pulled back against John. Her bottom came in contact with his dick
and she reached back to part her cheeks. He growled and she sighed
out loud when he took his cock and rubbed it up and down her crack.
Once, twice, he teased her puckered anus, before continuing to her
pussy to do the same thing. Sammy couldn’t take his teasing. She
leaned into him and thrust her buttocks against him, rubbing his
cock vigorously.

“Fuck! I’m going to come if you keep doing
that.” His breathing was uneven.

“Then stick it in somewhere and fuck me, damn
it! I can’t take much more teasing, John.”

His laughter erupted around them, disturbing
some birds in a nearby tree. It was too dark to see what kind, but
Sammy was vaguely aware of their squawk of protest before they took
flight. She brought her arms up and behind her, wrapping them
around his neck. The movement thrust her breasts out, and she
didn’t need to ask him to touch them. His hands moved up her
thighs, hips, waist, and rib cage to cup her aching flesh in his
palms. His thumbs toyed with her sensitive nipples until she
thought she’d go mad.

Crying out, Sammy closed her eyes and swayed
with delicious pleasure. John knew just what got her off. A mini
orgasm flushed through her and she began to tremble with reaction.
Damn him!
“I hate you!” Sexual frustration got the best of
her.

“No you don’t, honey. That’s the problem. You
want to hate me. But you’ve also wanted this for a long time.” He
nipped kisses along her shoulder. “Part the cheeks of your ass for
me, Sam.”

Sammy lowered her arms and did as he asked,
eagerly rubbing up and down his cock again. Sensing what he was
about to do, she rose on tiptoes and thrust her butt out, which
also opened her pussy to him. She nearly jerked forward when she
felt the thickness of his dick against her swollen pussy lips.
Trying to draw him into her body by clenching her muscles was
useless. John wanted to take his time. Make her a little crazier by
entering her in a slow, teasing motion.

Where does he get his control?

As soon as he burrowed to the hilt, he
stopped, as if to catch his breath. “I wonder if I’ll ever get
enough of you.”

His comment didn’t surprise Sammy. She was
wondering the same thing. What if they didn’t satisfy the intense
lust gripping them before John decided to drop out of sight again?
What if they didn’t “get enough,” as he’d so eloquently put it? It
suddenly occurred to her that after that weekend, she might be
right back where she’d started. A lonely, horny divorcée with a
used-up dildo.

The flexing of his hips brought her back to
the moment. John’s cock throbbed inside her pussy, scratching the
itch she had. But Sammy wanted more. More than that weekend. Tears
burned in her eyes as he began to move. And she discovered what
frightened her more than anything was the feelings coursing through
her. Was she in love with John? And that’s why she hadn’t been able
to get him out of her mind all these years?

His hands were on her hips, holding her
firmly as he picked up speed. The sounds of their pleasure filled
the night and their movements churned up the water around them.
Every time his dick tunneled into her body, a small sound rushed
from Sammy, the feminine version of his grunt. As he continued to
fuck her from behind, one of his hands trailed fire down her belly
to her pussy.

“Come for me, baby.” He licked and kissed at
the skin behind her ear. “I’ll fill your pussy with cum if you do.”
His finger flicked over her tingling clit.

Oh, God!
His words did the trick, as
he must have known they would. Sammy held nothing back, giving in
to the ecstasy consuming her. Her body convulsed with the force of
her climax, and soon after, John’s movements revealed he had
reached the same plateau.

“Damn, honey, you drain me.”

Sammy smiled when she felt his nose nuzzle
the back of her neck. “If you weren’t holding me up I would have
slipped beneath the surface long ago.”

Slowly he turned her around. “Sounds
serious.” He brushed the hair out of her eyes. “Will you stay with
me tonight?”

Just the night? She tried to hide her
disappointment and thought about what she’d told her daughters. But
none of that seemed to matter now. Besides, she doubted she’d need
clothes.

“What’s the smile for?”

She took a deep breath. “I was just thinking
that I don’t have a change of clothes. I wasn’t planning on
staying.”

“Do you really think you’ll need clothes?” He
kissed her briefly, his lips firm yet tender. “The more I have you,
the more I want you.”

“Sounds serious.” Her words echoed his
earlier comment.

“It is serious, Sammy. I didn’t realize how
much until now.”

“That’s the lust talking.” She tried to make
light of it but her tone didn’t sound very convincing, even to her
ears. “Don’t try to convince me that you’re in love with me.” She
wasn’t a fool.

Sammy was too afraid to think the obvious.
That John had feelings for her that went beyond lust. She was still
trying to come to grips with the fact that they’d been intimate.
Crap! We’re like fucking bunnies.
To save John from having
to stumble over a response, she pushed away. A swim might help the
achiness she was feeling from using muscles that hadn’t been used
in a long time. There was a definite tenderness between her
legs.

It was a big lake so she didn’t go very far.
The water felt good slicing over her body, and several times she
sank below the surface and swam to the bottom. It was one of those
times when John caught up to her. With his hands against her waist,
he pushed them to the surface. He was tall enough to touch the
bottom and Sammy put her hands on his shoulders to keep from
sinking.

Their bodies shifted against each other with
the movement of the water. It was the first time she’d felt John’s
cock completely deflated while they were naked. Something naughty
in her prompted her to move her knee between his legs. Then, ever
so lightly, she moved her thigh up and down his shaft.

His hands flexed where they rested on her
hips. “I think you’re trying to quench a hunger inside you that is
just as bad as mine.”

Sammy could hear the smile in his voice.
“Perhaps. Maybe I’m trying to eat my fill before the famine.” God,
she didn’t mean for her voice to come out sounding so needy. She
was thankful the darkness could hide her embarrassment.

John took a deep breath and released it
slowly. “I went away for a reason, Sam. I was a hothead and did all
the wrong things. And there was no way I was going to stand by and
watch you and Pat play house. As much as I wanted you, I think I
hated you a little, too.”

“I was afraid of you.”

“I know.” He kissed Sammy briefly. “Are you
afraid of me now?”

She thought about her answer, realizing she
had to be honest with him. “I’m afraid of me, John. Afraid of what
you make me feel. Everything is happening so fast.”

“Why don’t we head back and talk over
dinner.”

Sammy was good with that. They needed to
talk. She hadn’t been lying about being afraid. John made her feel
too much, too fast. And when he touched her she was consumed with
hunger. For twenty years he’d always been there, lurking in the
back of her mind, teasing and taunting her with his sexy grin and
the fire of knowledge in his eyes. His bad-boy reputation had
intrigued her just as it had every other girl in high school.

As she struggled into her borrowed shorts,
the hot sting of tears filled her eyes as she realized she cared a
lot for John. And her biggest fear was that he was going to walk
away again, now that he’d gotten what he wanted. She’d given in to
him so fervently.
I was as eager to get into his pants as he was
to get into mine.
She pulled the tank top over her head and
down her body, and then turned.

John was already on his bike. Without words,
she crawled on behind him. “Wrap your arms around me, honey.” He
kick-started the bike, revved it up, and headed back in the
direction they’d come.

Sammy rested her cheek against his shoulder
and held on tight. She didn’t know how, but John found his way back
and before long they were pulling up in front of his cabin.

“Why don’t you grab a shower? There’s a clean
shirt in my duffel bag. I’ll be back in a few.”

Sammy slipped off the back of the bike and
watched John ride away, wondering if this was how their weekend was
going to end.

Chapter 5

“You look satisfied.”

A smile spread across Sammy’s face. She was
satisfied, in more ways than one. When he’d disappeared earlier, it
was to get them some food from the barbeque, and he’d returned with
a plate piled high with chicken, corn on the cob, and baked beans.
They’d both been hungry and dove into the food like starving
teenagers, flushing it all down with ice-cold sweet tea.

“I haven’t been this satisfied in a long
time.” She wasn’t just talking about the food. Would he get the
double meaning? Going by his sexy grin, he did.

He pushed his chair back and got to his feet.
“Let’s go have that talk.”

He sounded so solemn, and Sammy supposed it
was going to be a serious discussion. One that might decide how the
weekend was going to end between them. She watched him walk around
the table toward her. A little shiver rolled over her scantily clad
body when he stopped behind her and leaned in close enough for her
to feel his warm breath against her neck. He dropped his hands on
her shoulders in a firm caress.

“Let’s go someplace where we’ll be more
comfortable.”

Bed?
It was the first thing that
popped into Sammy’s mind. Goodness, she was becoming a nympho!

She rose to her feet and turned to face him.
They’d both showered before eating. She was wearing one of his
T-shirts, which stopped at the tops of her thighs and covered just
what it needed to. He was wearing a pair of sexy boxer briefs,
which showcased his powerful thighs. His nearness caused her
nipples to crest with instant awareness. John’s gaze dropped there,
and then roamed lazily up to her mouth.

So sure he was going to kiss her, Sammy wet
her lips.
Lord, his mouth is sensual! And very talented.

“I’d love to kiss that sexy mouth of yours,
but we both know it never stops there. And I want to talk first. To
make sure we have no misunderstandings between us.”

He took her by the hand and Sammy let him
lead her out to the small screened-in porch on the back of the
cabin. It was dark there, and the temperature a little cool, but it
felt good to her. She could barely make out a small round table and
some chairs. A shadow in the corner revealed there was possibly a
swing. John pushed her down onto one of the chairs before moving to
one opposite her.

Sammy smiled.
He really isn’t taking any
chances.
Is he afraid of me?
She took a deep breath. The
air was thick with the smells coming from the dying bonfire, cooked
food, and the scent of wild jasmine. Muted voices surrounded them.
A quick glance around the area showed a glimmer of lights in the
nearby cabins, and a few dim yellow lights on some of the
porches.

“Here.”

She started at John’s voice, and then she
reached for the glass he was handing her. There was a bottle on the
table she hadn’t noticed before.

“Wine?” There was surprise in her tone. “I
thought you were a beer man.”

“There are a lot of things you don’t know
about me, Sam.” She could tell he was taking a sip. “What do you
want out of our relationship?”

“I didn’t know we were in a relationship.”
God, why is my voice so shaky? Because I’m afraid.

John released a deep breath. “You think this
is just a weekend fling?”

God, she hoped not. Sammy didn’t know how to
respond to that. She took another sip of her wine, aware that she
was stalling for time.

“We’re not kids anymore. Twenty years ago I
would have fucked you and walked away. I wanted you like hell, but
I was wild and arrogant. If I hadn’t left when I did, I would have
had you, and you being married to my brother wouldn’t have stopped
me.”

Sammy knew he was speaking the truth. “I was
afraid of you.”

“So you’ve said before. But you know what I
think? I think you were just as afraid of yourself back then.”

“Maybe.”

He laughed. “Coward.”

She’d never denied it.

“Well, I never forgot you. Never forgot what
you made me feel or want. When I heard your marriage to Pat broke
up, I swore I’d come back one day and see if you still felt the
spark.”

“You took a chance I wouldn’t meet someone
else.”

“I kept tabs on you.”

“What?” Sammy didn’t know if she liked that
or not. “How?”

“Through the family. I doubt it occurred to
anyone why I asked the questions I did. I was just catching up in
their eyes. When it became clear you were too involved with raising
your kids, I figured to let you get that out of the way first.
Besides, I was busy with JM Construction, and my own personal
relationship was a mess.”

He was referring to his divorce. “Are you
going to sit there and tell me that you haven’t been with anyone
since your divorce?”
