He wiped the tears rolling down his cheeks and raised the glass to Josie. “Cheers baby! If I’m no longer satisfying you and you want a divorce, then it’s yours. If you want me to wear leather pants and whip you, I’ll do it. If you want me to fuck you in an airplane bathroom, let’s go. We can be on the next flight to anywhere in an hour. What do you want from me?”
Josie couldn’t help the tears that flowed. She stood up, walked to Nick and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist. At first he didn’t respond, but eventually he put his arms around her shoulders. “I miss you. I miss the way we were. I miss how we used to be all over each other.”
“Honey, it’s hard to have hard core sex on the couch when we have two teenage boys. I’m sure that is not proper parenting. Do you want our boys to have to go through massive psychological therapy?”
Josie chuckled and pulled away from Nick’s embrace. “No,” she said and wiped her eyes.
She walked toward the television and picked up the entertainment guide. “So what are you in the mood for—Dong Ho, Swinging Sisters?” Her eyes widened with excitement. “How about Porky Park? It just brings back such memories.”
He reached for the remote control. “What channel is it on?”
“It’s on the paid entertainment channels under adult,” Josie replied.
“No kidding,” he replied dully as he turned on the channel. “But wait, we need to make this night complete.” He reached for the room service menu. “How about we order some caviar and maybe the cheese plate,” he suggested.
“Porn, champagne, caviar—sounds like a great date,” she said tearfully.

After the movie, Nick and Josie sat naked and sweaty in each other’s arms. Nick kissed her neck and fondled her breasts as she spread caviar onto a cracker. “I thought that movie was very provocative and even humane. The scene with the girl giving the vagrant a blow job was very touching.” Josie pressed the caviar coated cracker against Nick’s lips. He opened his mouth and she placed on his tongue.
He munched on the cracker and said, “I personally liked the scene with the two teenagers screwing in the bushes. It was so nice of her mother to stop by and teach her daughter how to properly fuck her boyfriend.” He lowered his hand between her legs and fingered her clit.
Josie laughed and took a bite of cheese. “Oh, my favorite scene was the cop punishing that girl against the wall with his cock. She was a bad girl and really did deserve it in the ass. How she remained still on those roller skates is beyond me.”
“I think he was holding her hips to stabilize her,” Nick whispered in her ear.
“Ah yes, it has been a while since you took me from behind while standing against something,” she said. She rested her head against his. “I miss the old days.”
“Those days are gone sweetheart; they are not coming back,” he said softly.
“I know,” she said, feeling the tears well up again.
Nick wrapped his arms around her tightly. “Those days are gone, but there are many more to come. We’re only about halfway through this lifetime.
Mile High
Darkness shrouded the business-class cabin. If passengers weren’t asleep, they were watching a movie or reading a book. Nick glanced around the plane and gently tapped Josie on the arm until she woke.
            “What is it?” she mumbled.
“Come on. It’s the perfect time.” He unbuckled his seat belt and got out of his seat.
Josie followed him toward the lavatory. Nick looked around once more to see if the coast was clear and gestured for Josie to join him inside.
“Nick, we may have been able to do this twenty years ago, but now?”
He turned Josie gently toward the mirror and kissed the back of her neck. “Sure we were more flexible then, but we’re more experienced now,” he whispered, as he rubbed himself against her backside, “and more creative.”
Josie studied their appearance in the mirror; almost thirty years had passed since; their youth was far behind them. She looked at her reflection and smiled. When Nick and her were having problems, Josie made an effort to rediscover herself. She was determined to feel beautiful again so she watched what she ate and exercised. Josie believed she looked better at forty-six then at thirty. Finally, she found herself in a peaceful place, not caring to look back, not worrying about the future, just appreciating the present and the present was a romantic interlude with her husband in a United Airlines lavatory.
Nick tucked his hands into her sweatpants and gently guided them down over her hips. Continuing to kiss her neck, he fingered her clitoris. Josie moaned softly, and reached behind to grab hold of his neck. She turned to face him and he kissed her eagerly.
He crouched down and spread her legs slightly apart, as far as the elastic of her sweatpants could spare, and ran the tip of his tongue between her legs. Josie couldn’t help it; she groaned a little louder, leaning over the sink and resting her head on the mirror. After massaging himself until he was hard, Nick penetrated her from behind and made small rhythmic thrusts, occasionally hitting himself against the side of the tiny cubicle.
Josie reached down between her legs and rubbed herself. “Oh God!” she sighed quietly while Nick held tightly to her hips. She lifted her face to watch their reflection in the mirror.
After all these years together, she had never seen them in ecstasy. They were never the type of couple who desired to watch themselves in the mirror; in fact she thought it would be a turn off. It was the first time she saw orgasmic bliss in her eyes and the serious yet fervent look on Nick’s face. It turned her on more. She widened her legs and rubbed herself even harder.
Nick grunted and Josie knew he was near orgasm. She watched him climax in the mirror. As he turned toward the toilet to lift his pants, Josie grabbed a few tissues to clean herself and offered one to Nick.
After washing their hands and freshening up, Nick opened the lavatory door to find a stern stewardess waiting. “The lavatories are not a brothel,” she said.
Nick said nothing, but walked past with a satisfied smirk.
“My husband,” Josie explained, “he has brain damage and needs help going to the bathroom. Without me there would be urine all over the place. You don’t want that do you?”
The stewardess stared at Josie. “He looks fine to me.”
Josie laughed. “We’d each like a glass of champagne, oh caviar and crackers as well.”
The stewardess grimaced but went about getting Josie’s order.
When Josie returned to her seat, Nick said, “Congratulations sweetheart, you are now a member of the mile high club.”
“And we haven’t even arrived on holiday.” She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.
With both Yuri and Al in college, Nick offered to whisk Josie away—anywhere in the world she wanted. At first she wanted to return to Moscow for old times, but then changed her mind. She wanted some place exotic, sexy and very easy. Belize and Thailand came to mind, but when Nick showed her the tiny, private bungalows in Fiji; Josie was sold.

As soon as she stepped off the plane, felt the warm breeze and the sunshine, Josie wanted sex and was in a hurry to collect their luggage.  When they arrived at their private bungalow, Josie shrieked in delight.
Beyond the flowing white curtains, she could see the turquoise see. “Sun, sand, surf and sex,” she said, reminded of their honeymoon, “but this sure beats the hell out of Ocean City, Maryland. How close are our neighbors?”
“Quarter mile, I believe,” he said, setting down their luggage.
“This is unbelievable Nick. Can we stay here forever,” she said.
He walked up behind her and kissed her on the cheek. “Whatever you want.”

Later on, Nick lounged on the beach chair naked. Under the shade of his sunglasses, he dozed off into a light sleep. Josie rested nude on her stomach while reading an erotic book by Anais Nin. She turned to her side and admired her husband. Even though he had turned gray, he was still as attractive to Josie as he was in high school. After all these years, he could still ignite her fire.
‘“You’re in my heart; you’re in my soul; you’ll be my breath should I grow old. You are my lover, you’re my best friend,”’ she said to him, quoting the Rod Stewart song—the song lyrics she had memorized from her wedding reception.
            “Huh?” he grunted sleepily.
Josie chuckled. “How about we go inside and have sex before you fry your penis in the sun?”
He shook his head no. “Let’s do it out here.”
She propped herself up on her elbows. “Sweetheart, that was okay when we were seventeen; we’re hardly in shape for beach chair sex.”
“I’ve been working out, you’ve been doing yoga.” He patted his thigh. “Get over here.”
Josie stood up and kneeled on Nick’s chair. She grabbed hold of his penis with one hand and lowered her face, gently sucking and nibbling the skin of his balls.
He writhed slightly and groaned. “That’s good, baby.”
His words offered Josie encouragement so she decided to be a little more forceful and playful; massaging his penis, taking turns sucking his head and his balls. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to bring him or orgasm with oral sex, or if she wanted to climb on top of him and ride him to orgasm.
Nick decided for her. He sat upright and reached for her thigh. She turned around and kneeled over him with her pussy over his face, while she continued to pleasure him. Josie tried to focus on Nick, but the feeling of Nick’s tongue was so good. They both groaned, feeling their bodies shudder as they neared climax.
Nick wriggled away from Josie and moved her under him. Josie spread her legs wide and let him enter her. He held onto the edge of the lounge chair as he rocked inside her. He lifted her legs to her shoulders and went deeper.
“Oh God!” Josie bellowed, holding onto the side of the lounge chair. “Oh, God, Nick!”
Nick came harder than he had in many years and slumped forward over Josie. Sweat from his body dripped onto her breasts. She massaged his perspiration into her skin and curled alongside him. He held her in his arms and looked off at the sea. “Not bad for two old folks,” she said.
“Old folks. Nah, we’re just getting started,” he replied.

Josie checked her reflection in the mirror and liked what she saw. She dressed simply for dinner—a chiffon tunic dress and only a touch of makeup. The sun provided all the color she needed.
She walked out of the bungalow, seeing Nick waiting on a lounge chair and immediately noticed his shirt. “Where did you get that?”
“Gift store at the airport while you were in the lavatory,” he replied. “Do you like it?”
“I’ve never seen so many birds on one shirt,” she said.
“Yeah, cool. It is all the birds of the islands—pelicans, parrots, lorikeets,” he laughed, “boobie.”
“I see that,” remarked Josie. “The background is an interesting color.”
“Ochre, I believe,” said Nick. “You don’t like it?”
Josie spent a great deal of time and even money contemplating her wardrobe for the trip, going for elegant and sophisticated. Her floral printed dress flat-out clashed with her husband’s ochre, tropical bird shirt. She contemplated her response. “It suits you.”
Nick glanced down at the shirt. “I thought so.” He took her by the arm and said, “Let’s go. The restaurant is just down the beach. We don’t even need shoes. How cool is that?”
It was a beautiful walk along the shoreline, but after walking for nearly forty-five minutes, Josie’s legs began to ache and her stomach growled. She didn’t want to complain; it was such a gorgeous evening and the sunset was exquisite. “Are we almost there?”
“Yes, you can see it in the distance,” Nick replied.
Josie could see a small speck of a restaurant in the distant. “Right.”
Despite the hike, the restaurant wasn’t a disappointment. There were tables sporadically placed in the shallow water, each one illuminated with candles. The walkway was lit with torches placed in the water.
Nick walked up to the reception on the beach. “We have a reservation for Markovich.”
“Yes, sir, follow me,” said the host, dressed in a tropical shirt and shorts.
Nick and Josie followed their host, wading into the ankle-deep warm water, to their table.
“Kitaek, your waiter will be with your shortly,” he said, handing them their menus.
Josie relaxed into her seat and exhaled with a smile. She loved the sensation of the warm water gently lapping against feet. She looked around at the other couples—some husbands with ugly, tropical shirts and others in starched dress shirts. Josie realized there are two types of wives—ones who accept their husbands in ugly shirts and those who make them change. She was proud to be a wife who accepted her husband. She reached out to Nick’s hand. “This is amazing.”
He opened his napkin and placed it on his lap. “I aim to please.”
Their waiter, Kitaek, a pleasant young man came to their table with a bottle of wine. “May I suggest our house Muscat? It has a delicate, sweetness that goes well with all our dishes.”
