As they walked into the barn, she sat on a hay bale and watched as he brushed the horse down and put him to bed for the night with an apple to munch on.

“He’s graceful for such a big horse,” she commented watching as the animal carefully ate the treat from his palm.

“He’s got more class than most grown men.” Dom laughed.

She smiled, and it lit up her entire face. Her eyes glowed with her happiness.

Once his palm was empty, he went and sat beside her grabbing her hand and placing it on his thigh. She chuckled at his move.

They sat there for a while listening to the sounds of the horses bedding down for the night. Owls could be heard in the distance hooting in triumph from the catch of a field mouse. Coyotes were singing a song only they understood. An unexpected crack of thunder pierced the quiet night. Rain quickly followed in a downpour that was unexpected. When Deidre jumped and slowly got up to walk to the barn door to watch the storm, he followed her.

“When I was younger, I loved storms. Their unexpected brutality always amazed me. I would sit in my windowsill for hours watching the savage way it would knock tree’s over with harsh winds. They always fascinated me,” she confessed.

“Why?” He wanted to know.

She seemed to ponder his question before answering him. “You know; I never could figure out why for the longest time. They’re chaotic and angry. They can cause extreme chaos and most people hide from them. I was always drawn to the damage. And it only hits me now why…” She trailed off in thought before turning to look at him. “My parents. They fought fiercely. Sometimes violently like these storms do. But with nature’s tempests, I didn’t have to hear the nasty comments or flesh smacking flesh, and the aftermath that I was exposed to. But the beauty of Mother Nature? She is something to truly behold.”

“Sometimes, you make it so easy to forget just how young you are,” he told her threading his hands through her hair roughly.

“As I got older, I used to imagine a storm like this could be compared to the passion between a man and a woman in the throes of ecstasy.”

She had a look in her eyes that dared him to show her just how intense their coupling could be.

It was a challenge he was going to willingly accept.

Just as another crash of thunder rolled through the skies, his lips crashed on hers. Mimicking the angry lights flashing across the sky as Mother Nature took control of the land.

A sharp tug in her hair had her standing on her tip toes as he plundered her mouth, taking more than she was giving. He swallowed her gasps and moans. Demanded more when she would pull back for a breath.

“Dominic,” she moaned when his other hand grabbed her breast roughly through her shirt. Rolling and pinching her nipple, making her back arch for more.

“You wanna feel the storm brewing in me, Princess? To experience how thoroughly I can consume you?”

“Yes,” she purred breathlessly against his lips.

“It’s yours,” he told her before pulling back and forcing her against the wall to allow a touch of the rain to hit her from the open barn doors.

“Oh,” she gasped as her back hit the wood, a small smile curving her mouth.

“Hands up,” he demanded, pulling his belt from the loops in his jeans. He wrapped the leather around her wrists and hung them on a hook above her head. “Don’t move.”

A crash of thunder hit just as he moved back, lighting up her face so he could see her eyes. They shone with a dark anticipation of what was to come.

Dom watched her for a few minutes to truly gauge her reaction to what they were doing. What he planned on doing. She squirmed, pressing her thighs together and catching his attention.

Running one hand along his jaw, he licked his lips hungrily, eyes trained on her eager pussy. The need to taste her succulent flesh hit him fast and hard. Dropping to his knees in front of her, he undid her shorts, gently pulling them down her slender legs, making sure to rub the backs of his knuckles against her bare flesh.

Her panties were soaked with her arousal. Looking up at her, he saw her eyes were riveted to him and what he would do next. Needing her sweetness on his tongue, he brought his face closer to her lace-covered heat, rubbing his scruffy cheek against her. She purred in her need.

“You want something, Princess?” he murmured against her nether lips through the material.

“You, Dominic. I only ever wanted you.” There was a vow in her voice, nearly like a prayer.

“Tell me,” he whispered into her thigh as he lay kisses upon her tender skin.

“You are my safe haven. When I was scared and alone, it was you I thought of so often. When I needed to feel loved, it was your arms I imagined wrapping me so tight. I didn’t know then that what I would find with you was love, but Dominic? I did. I found it, and it’s something I will forever hold onto. No matter where we are, you are forever a part of me.”

He was speechless. The look in her eyes was so intense he almost fell on his ass. He’d worried before that she wouldn’t feel half of what he did for her, but her face told him exactly what he needed to know. She embraced it, and she loved it.

“Fuck, Princess.” Standing, he made his way up her body, the need to be inside her overriding every other sense in his body. He needed for them be one.

Pulling his shirt over his head, kicking off his boots as he dropped his pants, he told her, “This is gonna be fast and hard, Princess. There will be no sweetness. This is all about me showing you how fucking much I love your ass.”

“I want it all, Dominic.”

Fucking girl likes to challenge.

He ripped her panties from her body and lifted her into his arms, slamming inside her in one hard thrust.

“Oh God!” she screamed.

With her hands
tied above her and Dom pining her to the wall, she took everything he was giving her. It was rough, it was hard, but most importantly, it was all Dominic.

She watched in fascination as pleasure overtook his features. His shoulders and arms rippled with his strength as he owned her body. Eyes turning the darkest shade of green she’d ever seen, they were nearly black. His lips were quirked into a smirk when he noticed her watching him.

Her man’s thrusts were long and deep, plundering her body so thoroughly that she didn’t think she’d be walking straight anytime soon.

“Oh, Dominic,” she moaned when he hit a particularly sensitive spot inside her.

“You’re fucking perfect, Princess. So tight,” he groaned against her neck.

Pleasure rolled through her in waves so intense her limbs went numb, her vision narrowed to tiny slits only showing Dominic’s strong face. She couldn’t catch her breath when the sensations finally peaked, and she was left with a feeling of complete euphoria. “Dominic!” she mouthed in a nearly silent scream.

“Oh fuck, I got you, Dee,” he roared as she felt the jets of his cum hit her inner walls.

Her pussy was still pulsing as he stopped stroking in and out of her.

A clap of thunder crashed loudly in the distance signaling the end of the downpour. Like it was just background noise for their coupling. It was as if Mother Nature knew they needed the heavy beat of the rain on the roof and the violence of the thunder.

Dominic kept her pinned to the wall, just watching her eyes like he was searching for something. “Every time, my love. Every. Fucking. Time.” He punctuated each word with small kisses on her face.

“Every time what?” she asked huskily, her voice hoarse from crying out.

“Every time is like the first. Every time, you steal my breath. Every fucking time, you make my heart stop with the emotions in your eyes when you come. Every. Fucking. Time,” he repeated, stealing her own breath.

“A lifetime of this feeling, right?” she timidly asked him, looking down between their bodies.

“Two if I have my way.”

Twenty

A week after
she had returned home, they finally settled into a semi-routine. Life was slowly beginning to go back to normal now that Jaxson was home and thriving under their constant care and attention. He was slowly coming out of his shell around new people, making new friends in town now that Deedee was taking him to different mom and tot classes at the small rec center they had.

They drove home singing nursery rhymes she'd bought on CD. "The wheels on the bus go..."

"Wound and wound." Jaxson loved to sing what the motion was. Dom and Case laughed at their a cappella act because they were always off key and out of tune. Singing was not her strong suit.

Pulling into the long driveway up to the house, she noticed tire tracks in the mud from the light rain they'd had that morning. Assuming Dom had come home early, she didn't think anything of it. As soon as she saw the gold Mercedes parked in front of the house, she knew that wasn't the case.

Before she shut the car off, she made a quick call to Dom. "What's up, Princess?"

She melted every time he called her that. "There's a car here. Did you send someone?"

He immediately went into protective caveman mode. "No one. Don't get out. What kind of car is it? Can you see the license plate?" His questions came faster than she could answer.

"It's a gold Mercedes, no plate." The driver’s door opened and she froze. Not in panic or fear but white hot rage. "Oh hell, fucking no," she gritted out angrily.

"Princess?" There was caution in his voice. "What’s going on?" She could hear the engine of his truck start, meaning he'd be there in ten minutes tops.

"Fucking Brooke," was all she had to say before he started cursing.

"Don't get out of that fucking car, Deidre!"

"She's coming over." She could almost feel the steam coming from her ears.

"Promise me, Princess!" he called out to her.

"Can't do that, Dominic." At least she was honest.

"Fuck sakes, Deidre," he growled at her.

She smiled.

The bitch thought that was a good sign.

Wrong move.

"Jax, baby, talk to Daddy." Handing the phone to the boy, she got out before Brooke could come any closer and Jax spotted her.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" she demanded before the other woman could say anything.

"Is that any way for a lady to speak?" She wanted to smack the sugar-sweet from her voice.

"Nope. Then again, I never claimed to be a lady. What do you want?"

"My son."

Wrong words.

The only thing holding Deedee back from bitch-slapping the witch was the fact that Jax might see her do it.

"Not likely."

"That brat is mine! You can't keep him from me." Brooke started to get pissy.

"Look, I get that you came here expecting to find some meek, little woman that you could run right over. Well, I hate to disappoint you, honey, ‘cause I ain't meek, and baby, you ain't running nothing."

She got a nasty light in her eyes at Dee's words. "Look, cunt. That boy is mine. I gave birth to him, not you. He's coming with me. You will never be his mother. And one day, Dominic is going to get tired of your little innocent girl act and teenage ass and come back to a real woman. On that day, I'll be laughing in your face. Now get out of my way so I can get my son."

When she went to push past Deedee, something inside of her snapped. Without a second thought, her fist was closed and drawing back before she plowed forward hitting Brooke right in the nose. Pain in her hand was immediate, but not quite as fast as the blood dripping from the bitch's nose.

Looking back to the car quickly, she saw that Jaxson was still happily talking on the phone. Turning around, she was just in time to miss what would have been a painful slap across the face. Ducking so Brooke’s hand swept through the air, she heard the whoosh of it.

“This isn’t over!” Brooke screamed. “Give these to Dominic.” She tossed a thick folder at Dee. “I’m fighting for what’s mine.” Sliding back into her car, she slammed the door, taking off just as Dom was pulling into the driveway.

Jumping from his truck, followed by Casey, he ran to her while Case checked on Jax. “You okay?” he asked holding her face in his hands.

She was. She knew she was. So why was she shaking?

“She’s going to try and take him from us, Dom.” Even her voice shook when she spoke.

“Calm down, Princess,” he murmured, bringing his lips down to hers. “I won’t let her take our boy, so don’t worry, please.”

“Ours?” she croaked out.

“Fuck, yeah,” he growled closing the small gap between their lips.

“I don’t trust
that bitch one lick, man,” Case growled after Dom had finally gotten Dee and Jax to go inside.

“Me either,” he told him.

“She’s up to something. And not just this custody bullshit.”

“I know.”

“So what the fuck are we gonna do about it?” Case demanded.

The million-dollar question.

“Have Larry tail her. Dig up everything you can on her in the last five years. I wanna know where she’s been, who she’s been working for, and what kind of oatmeal she ate for breakfast. I want everything,” Dom told him coldly, walking towards the house. To his life.

“You want me to call the Black brothers?” Case asked before he could go inside.

Thinking about it because as annoying as they could often be, he knew they had resources that reached further than his own. “Not yet. Give it a few days, and if we can’t find out what she’s doing here, then I will.”

“You got it, bossman.”

Walking inside, he heard pots and pans clanging in the kitchen so he headed that way, unsurprised to find his woman and son mixing something up. The kitchen seemed to be Dee’s favorite place to be, and naturally, that’s where everyone else wanted to be, too. She made their house into a home without any effort on her part.

“What are we making today?” he asked, going up behind her and caging her in with his arms against the counter.

“Bread.”

“Have you made that before?” he asked, suspicious of the tone in her voice.

“Nope.”

“Dee?”

She ignored him.

“Deidre?”
