Chapter 9

A
fter a swift clean-up and dash from the room, they found a staircase that took them to the underground level where there was a hot and crowded bar, the cellar level. Deciding that they were not being hunted by the staff, Jensen got a round in and they headed to the dance floor.

Still gathering his strength Jensen leaned against the barricade of the dance floor watching Rin
lose herself in the churning bassy music. He took a swig of his beer, enjoying the cool liquid slide down his throat; he was burning up, the odd echo of pleasure continually shooting through him every few minutes.

“Jeez what has she done to me?”
he mumbled. He would join her on the dance floor in a moment; he was a man of his word, and although they had seen and done so much this evening, he had promised her he would take her dancing. The night’s alcohol had sweated out of him when he was giving it to Rin, but he felt dizzy with sensation. He gulped down another swig of beer and watched her swaying her lithe body, graceful and gorgeous, her beautiful long curls glowing under the stage lights.

He was falling for her, and it scared the hell out of him.

Jensen could have given up on the idea of proving himself. There was nothing to stop him carrying on partying and adventuring around the world, he could certainly afford it, but a new interest had kept him here.

The
co chairman of his father’s company, Karina Terry; Rin.

oth fiery and sweet, she had the refined beauty of Botticelli’s Venus and she kept surprising him.

Of all the girls in his past he had never met someone like her, he had also never had such problems in getting a woman to go on a date with him, she was so hot and cold it made his head spin!

Perhaps that was part of Rin’s appeal? She never wanted anything from him and he practically had to bargain with her to ever see her.

He had thought about leaving
, but he couldn’t bring himself to go, she had put a spell on him and he had to have more.
