BIBLIOGRAPHY
These references include works cited in both the text and appendices and materials that I consulted during my studies and that I recommend as further reading and reference for any Great Pyramid devotee. Sources are divided into two categories. Some sources from the Internet /World Wide Web are listed at the end of the bibliography. Since on-line sources can change quickly, I have kept these to a minimum. Interested readers should use any of the many on-line search engines to find useful and relevant Great Pyramid materials. Biblical quotations in the text are taken from
The Jerusalem Bible,
Reader’s Edition (Jones, 1968).
This bibliography makes no claims to completeness, but it is relatively comprehensive. Some of the works cited are relatively rare, but with diligence the majority can be found either for sale or in libraries, and many of the more critical works have been reprinted. I include relevant bibliographic details under some entries in order to clarify certain confusing issues regarding various editions of important works. Even though I do not agree with their analyses and conclusions,
Great Pyramid Passages,
vol. 1, by John and Morton Edgar (1910, 1923, and various reprints of the 1923 edition; personally I prefer the 1910 edition) is an invaluable source of photographs taken in and around the Great Pyramid at the beginning of the twentieth century before many modern restorations had been made and conveniences (such as railings for tourists) had been installed. Likewise, the multivolume set
Pyramidology
by Adam Rutherford is worth perusing for the photographs alone.
