“I support a lot of
causes,” he said, and she had to quell the urge not to sink into the velvety
depths within the sound of his voice. He looked amazing close up, all that
refinement and classic handsomeness seeping from his pores. From the watch at
his wrist, to the way his dress pants fell upon his shiny black shoes, he was
impeccable. It was all she could do not to stare into his handsome face and
just sigh dreamily. So pathetic of her she knew; however she wasn’t superhuman
enough to resist the way he made her feel.

“I didn’t expect to
see you so soon after our last meeting,” he continued as she kept silent.

“I know. We’re
still expecting your call regarding your final decision,” she reminded him with
a casual smile. “I understand you’ll need ample time to make up your mind
regarding such a venture. You’re known for your exactness as much as everything
else.”

“What if I told you
my mind was made up right now?” he asked, his tone light yet underlain with
silken intent.

Eva felt her teeth
sink into her bottom lip. She stared straight ahead, keeping her eyes on the crowd
that seemed oblivious to the little bubble she now found herself sharing with
the devilishly handsome man standing by her side.

“I’d say that you
never struck me as the impulsive type, Mr. West.” she asked lightly, her
fingers playing with the thick lock of brown hair that rested upon the upper
curve of her cleavage. His eyes followed the trail of her hair, settling with a
crackling look on her exposed flesh. Her bodice was daring; it dipped
dangerously low to reveal her generously cushioned cleft.

Eva became so
acutely aware of him that nothing else registered right then but his gaze on
her that felt as tangible as a passionate caress. How one look from him could
make a finely tuned sense of need cut straight through her pussy was shocking
to her. Her inner walls clenched involuntarily and she drew in a long,
shuddering breath as everything that was feminine and supple within her gave in
to the hard, dark heat in his blue eyes.

He was smiling,
those elusive dimples playing devilishly in his chiseled jaws. She watched the
curve of his lips and found herself licking her own, wishing it was his tongue she
was tasting.

“What would you
classify as impulsive, Ms. Borgia?”

“Leaving right now
– with me,” Eva said softly and without thinking – surprising
herself as well as him. She saw the flash of something feral in his eyes and
suddenly she felt amazed at her audacity. What on earth made her think she had
the right to make such demands on a man like Malcolm West? Sure, he looked at
her like he could gladly rip her dress in half and just ravage her where she
stood. But she had nerves thinking he would simply be at her beck and call.

But dammit, she
felt a power surging through her that needed to be put to the test.

“Are you suggesting
I abandon my date?” he asked with mild admonishment. “In case you hadn’t
noticed, I didn’t come alone.”

“Neither did I,”
Eva said with a shrug. More and more, she was sinking into a deeply dug well of
feminine enchantment that told her Malcolm West would find it a trial to say
no.

“And where would we
go?” he asked softly, eyes never shifting from hers.

“Anywhere you
like,” she told him, carelessly. “Your place or mine – a hotel. It
doesn’t matter.” Her gaze was just as unwavering as his. Inside, her heart was
pounding like never before. The rush of adrenalin pumped faster through her
veins just thinking of what she was suggesting. She hardly knew him – was
hardly sure he wouldn’t tell her off for her impudence. None of that mattered
when the woman in her longed for the unknown; the excitement of reaching out of
your comfort zone for the first time in your life.

He paused, and her
throat constricted even as her nipples swelled and hardened beneath her dress.
“I don’t make such offers lightly, believe me. But something tells me that even
though we came with different people tonight, you should be leaving with me.
All it takes is a yes or no, Mr. West. Now or never.”

“No turning back?”
Malcolm enquired with just a slight edge of warning in his voice. Eva felt a
jolt of surprise. Did he think she was playing a game? It was true that her
move was unexpected. Even she hadn’t seen it coming. But Eva felt sure that
Malcolm knew very well that she didn’t think he was a man she’d want to mess
with.

“Not an option,”
she said softly. “I’m clear in my purpose, Mr. West. The question now is…are
you?”

The corner of his
lips lifted in a smile that was both predatory and promissory, his fingers
closing around the slender curve of her elbow. “Let’s go.”

*

The thrill. The
irresistibleness. The fire. Malcolm West showed no hesitation leading her silently
and quickly out the exit. For all Eva knew, her date Vince was probably
returning with the glasses of champagne she’d requested, wondering where she’d
gone. Certainly, Malcolm’s delectable date would be shocked by Malcolm’s
uncharacteristic disappearance. Many people saw them leave together but Eva was
oblivious to all things but the excitement of knowing that Malcolm had seen it
fit to step-up to her challenge. Her heart surged with delight and more than a
little bit of trepidation. The fiery gleam in his eye was as primal as a man’s
banked passions could be.

A black hole.

That’s what he sent
her into. Eva had been racking her brain all the past few days wondering what
to call the
thing
that was his power
over her. For all her bravado, her legs felt like jelly as she finally joined
him in the air-conditioned plushiness of his sleek automobile. He didn’t have
to say a word, but she still felt like her heart was squeezed in a strong fist.

She still couldn’t
believe he’d actually left with her. She could hardly look at him as he drove
them into the night to…where? It didn’t matter. He didn’t ask where she lived,
so she assumed it wouldn’t be her place.

Why didn’t he
speak? Was that his way of regaining control over the situation? Well, it was
working. She was a jumble of nerves by the time he stopped in front of a contemporarily
structured high-rise apartment building. She recognized it as being situated in
one of the priciest areas of the city. The area had once been suffering but
thanks to a few years of gentrification it was now the hippest place to
live.

He resided in the
penthouse, which happened to display multi-level floors showing the living
areas, hi-tech kitchen and a windowed foyer leading to the many bedrooms. It
was an enormous version of the modern bachelor pad with classic, bold colors
and state of the art furnishings. There was plenty of remarkable art dotting
the walls and an interesting piece at every corner. All was tasteful, drawing
her breathless admiration. The sheer size of the place threw her, as she hadn’t
expected to find that he lived in somewhere so utterly grand. He was quite rich
she knew, and yet she’d assumed being male he wouldn’t care much for trappings
but she was pleasantly surprised. Perhaps, she mused, for someone who’d had a
disadvantaged childhood, he’d want nothing to stand in his way of total
comfort. His car, his home and everything in it spelled affluence and power.

Malcolm poured a
pair of drinks, and it was a great way to slow things down. Alone with him,
something Eva had not imagined would happen so quickly or so easily, was now a
reality. She sipped at her glass and endured his penetrating regard.

“You have a
beautiful place,” she began, angry with herself for the breathy quality in her
voice.

“Glad you like it,”
he replied. Eva gulped down the last of her wine, and he immediately refilled their
glass. Eva wasted no time in gulping down half of the contents, her blood
pumping with a distinctly sexual surge that she hadn’t felt with any other man,
ever.

Lust and alcohol…a
powerful mix.

He’d taken off his
jacket and also divested her of her own. The warmth within the luxurious walls
of his home felt welcoming and pleasing, and would have been relaxing if she
wasn’t just a jumble of pent-up desires. She didn’t need to check between her
legs to discover she was slippery wet from expectation. Just looking at him
made her feel hot and bothered and all kinds of horny. A man like Malcolm would
make a nun forget her vows. Make a sensible woman forget her principles, even
her pride.

“You were really
silent on the way here,” she noted, trying to quell the buzzing in her head and
in her pussy. His answer was a smile and a darkening of his navy blue eyes.

“It was either that
or exploding,” Malcolm informed her quietly. “If you’d said even one word to
me, Eva…I was liable to fuck you right into the car seat. Just spread you out
in the back, rip off your panties and plant my cock deep inside your cunt. And
keep ramming till everything turned to perfect ashes”

His words made her
hand tremble as she lifted her glass to her lips. But before she could take
another gulp, he was carefully retrieving the glass from her nerveless fingers.

“If you want to get
drunk, get drunk on me,” he informed her, placing aside both their glasses and
then closing the distance between them. His hands rested on her shoulders, his
fingers digging warmly into her delicate flesh.

Eva couldn’t tell
him she’d been drunk on him since the day she set eyes on him on the other side
of his desk. She couldn’t speak. He was so close she could see every feature on
his achingly handsome face. His lips, especially, drew her like a magnet. She
licked her lips; he watched the movement with blazing eyes.

“I already know how
I want this to go,” he was saying in that same conversational tone, lifting one
lock of hair from her creamy shoulder. “It’s almost too much to hope you have
even an inkling of what lies in store for you…for us.”

Eva gulped. The
warning comments her partner, Cheryl had made days ago rang dimly in her ears.
Standing within breathing distance of Malcolm gave Eva no doubt that he was
just as darkly dangerous as Cheryl had suggested. A man like Malcolm would not
be an everyday type of lover. He wasn’t going to do things the conventional or
expected way. He didn’t do normal and he didn’t have to tell her that.

“I do have an
inkling,” she replied, hardly able to breath, his fingers now tracing down her
collarbone and inching over the swell of her bust, exposed by her dipping
neckline. “But if you think I need a walk-through…”

“No time,” he said
with a slow shake of his head. He slid his hands down her shoulders and she
sighed at the warmth and firmness of his touch. Strong hands. Sure, passionate.
Was he going to rip her clothes off? She trembled at the possibility. But she
found herself trembling even more when he suddenly stepped a few paces back and
said softly, “Strip.”

One word: totally
unambiguous. Eva found her hands reaching behind her to unzip her dress. She
didn’t even think of refusing or arguing. It didn’t even matter that they were
standing there in the middle of the living room, the lighting stark, leaving no
chance to hide.

Eva wasn’t ashamed
of her body – no need to be. Her figure was well kept, due to a rigid
fitness regime. She needed that to be in shape thanks to her propensity to pad
on the junk on her hips, ass and tits. Judging from the way Malcolm’s eyes
flashed as her dress fell to the floor to reveal her sexy lingerie, he liked
what he saw.

She was wearing a
sinfully sexy getup of black satin, lace and ribbons. Even her black tights had
little bows right at the back. Now out of her dress, she stood in just her
underwear, tights and heels, knowing that with them on, she was even more
alluring than if she was naked. His eyes positively blazed.

“You’re a beautiful
woman, Eva,” he said simply. “Does it make you feel powerful to know you excite
me? That you make me so hard it feels like my brain wants to shut down from all
the blood rushing to my cock?”

Eva’s breath
quickened. “All I know is that with just your voice, your words, you make me
soak my panties. You haven’t even touched me but my whole body’s on fire.”

“I’m glad we have
that chemistry, Eva. I felt it that very first day and I knew you’d be a tough
woman to work with. Because I’d be too busy thinking how much better it would
be if we simply played.”

Eva felt
momentarily confused by his words, but was sure he was just speaking
metaphorically. Sure, it would be hard to work with him to, or to have a
business relationship with him especially when they were so attracted on a
wholly physical level to each other. But then there was nothing stopping them
from mixing business and pleasure, was there? Eva hoped not. Because she was
sure that if she played her cards right, she and Malcolm could enjoy the best
of both worlds…

Chapter Three

He crooked a finger
at her, she came forward.

Malcolm tipped her
chin up at the right angle to meet his lips. They kissed. It was a kiss that
spoke a whole new language, one Eva had never experienced before. The first
taste of him gave her a sense of inter-orbital pleasure; something totally out
of her world that took her beyond the stars. It held all the vibrant promise of
a night that would pass with layer upon layer of new, pulsating delights.
