Lucia walked along the market aisles, looking at the various merchants

Lucia smiled and turned slightly in Ewan

Raider looked at Ewan as Ewan held Lucia. “

Well, not yet,” Ewan remarked. “We still need to marry off my brother and Baton.”
Raider laughed. “
Good luck with that. Baton will never give up his endless lines of women at every port.”
Lucia snorted. “
Oh, he will. Mark my words, when he finds the perfect woman, he’ll do anything to be sure he has her.”

Has Galwin reported in on their newest job yet?” Raider asked, stealing Lucia from Ewan’s arms. Raider kissed her. “I’m almost afraid to ask what Eterin and Pataryio have them doing.”

Just that they’re headed to the Moon Belt that the Mantovian species frequents. Something about sex slaves. I don’t really know and I thought it best I not ask too many questions. I wasn’t sure how secure the line was.”
Raider exhaled slowly. “
I cannot believe the two of them took jobs as bounty hunters.”

Because that is so much worse than space pirates?”
The men shared an amused look.
She put a hand on her hip. “They felt like they were in the way,” Lucia said. “They weren’t. I miss them.”

I’m sure they’re fine and up to no good, wife,” Ewan countered, already knowing Baton would have Galwin in a sticky situation before long. It was what Baton did.
