That memory apparently caused a look on her face and Drew said, “Hey.”  He took her hand and placed it on his erection, his eyes shining with lust.

She swallowed down her stupid insecurities.  Instead she dug deep for that intelligent woman who graduated with honors, who was savvy, sassy, and weathered the most embarrassing time a woman could go through having her worst nightmare aired in public.

Now, she felt powerful knowing she was causing this physical reaction in him.  She smiled and let her fingers squeeze under his. Their eyes met in the silence and he closed his for a moment while she felt the length of his manhood.

Her body reacted, and she clenched her thighs together, knowing she was getting wetter each second that passed.  She rubbed her palm up and down.  His hands found her ass.

Please touch me.  More.
She massaged him with her fingers over his jeans.

“Your seduction may be working, Ms. Daniels.  You’re ruining my plan.”  His breathing had kicked up.

Oh, please…

His mouth found her ear.  “What do you want to do tonight?” he asked, his hands now squeezing at her ass.  She wound her arms around his neck and pressed herself to his chest, enjoying the warmth of his soft sweater against the skin of her body.

His arms wound up her back and wrapped her in his heat.

“The lasagna should be done soon,” she murmured into his neck.  “So we have a little time to kill.”

“How much time do we have?”  A shiver went through her body as his muscled thigh found the juncture of her legs and rubbed.  She began riding along his thigh.  He just felt so
good
.  “You like that?”

“You.  I like you.”
I love how safe you make me feel.  I love that I can trust you with my body, my mind, my heart. I love
you
.

She’d never felt fully safe with her ex.  Just Drew’s touch made her want things, not just sex, but his affection, his attention, his pride in her.

“I’m glad, baby,” he said.  “Because I really like you, too.”  Both of his hands found her nipples and began manipulating them again, pulling gently, twisting, over stimulating until she was wild on his leg.  “So much,” he continued whispering.  “I want to make you feel good.  Does this feel okay?”  She whimpered out a yes.

His fingers continued while he ground his thigh even higher.  He placed his lips behind her ear and whispered.  “I want you to have a taste of what it’s going to be like.  Every day, I want you to think about me inside you…how slowly I’m going to take you.  Do you know how patient I can be?”

Yes!  And I don’t want you patient!

That spot behind her ear caused a sound to escape as the arousal built to a fevered pitch. She was burning, shaking, almost at her breaking point.  He lifted her quickly and plopped her on the island counter, put her legs over his shoulders, then put his face between her legs.  His teeth bit lightly through her pants and attached to her clitoris just as he pinched her nipples and suckled softly, causing her to let out a long, low, moan which only turned louder as his shoulders spread her more.  She bucked, needing his lips on her skin.

Drew.

Clenching her thighs on either side of his face, she moved over and over, embracing the glorious friction his hot mouth was creating over the thin fabric separating her skin from his tongue.  She shook, her head falling back toward the counter as she held herself up by her elbows.  The noise that escaped from her started as a rumble just as her climax did, and moved slowly through her until she yelled out at the burning intensity.  She came with a vengeance allowing the euphoria to crash around her.

His hands wouldn’t stop moving, now at her rear where he held her tight and ground her up into his mouth.  Moments later, she collapsed onto the cool counter and his face moved up her body to nuzzle her mouth.  But she couldn’t open her eyes.  She was still in the throes of climaxing, glorying in her orgasm.  She breathed heavily as her head finally came up, and she floated down from the high he’d taken her to.  Finally, she opened her eyes.

He was breathing heavily and watching her, his fingers now stroked the sides of her breasts, taking her down gently, his eyes on fire as he looked at her.

She moved her legs off of his shoulders while her hand moved to the front of his pants and squeezed around him. Drew closed his eyes, holding her hand still.

“Don’t you think it should be your turn now?” she purred.

He leaned forward and took her mouth again, slowly showing her with his tongue what he wanted to do with the rest of his body.  When he broke away a moment later, he looked at her breasts.

“It’s going to be my turn all night,” he said, his tone serious.  “How do I know you’re ready for me?”  He sounded half serious with that question.

“I am,” she said, sounding out of breath.

“We’ll see,” he whispered with humor, as if there was a private joke he hadn’t told her. He leaned to her ear and said, “Are you feeling okay from last night?  Are you sore?”

“I’m feeling better than okay,” she murmured, rubbing into him and squeezing her hand harder.  “How about you?”

He grunted at the pressure from her fingers.  “I ain’t gonna lie, Daniels.  I’m feeling pretty damn good. You’re all I’ve thought about all day.”

“Me too.”  Her hand stroked harder, her eyes now staring into his.  The color was high on his cheeks and he nuzzled her neck only to bite lightly into her skin there.  She let him continue his work at her neck while she worked at his pants, unbuckling his belt then unsnapping the top button.

“Mm.”  His mouth worked its magic and his hands went roughly into her hair.  When his pants loosened, she pushed them down with her fingers, rubbing herself against his freed erection.  Then she pushed him back a little and hopped off the counter.  Dropping to her knees before him, her mouth was on him within seconds.  She heard his hiss above her, and as his hands tightened in her hair she hummed around him, swallowing him over and over.  “Shit,” she heard above her.

That just spurred her on even more.  He hadn’t let her finish last night, but she was determined to now.

Her mouth worked him over, sucking and licking and humming the whole time until his grip was so tight in her hair, she wanted to scream.  So she did, the strong vibrations from her throat triggering him to say her name, warning her of what was about to happen.  She kept at him until his orgasm came and he yelled low and long, filling her mouth while the climax overtook him.  She swallowed every last drop, then lapped at him while his cock continued jumping slightly in her mouth.

He staggered until his hip bumped into the kitchen bar and one of his hands reached out to steady himself.  Then he hauled her up and kissed her voraciously until they both were out of breath again.  His forehead dropped to hers.

“I think I’ll need some lasagna just to give me time to recover from that.”

She chuckled.  “Well, you did say it was going to be your turn all night, so you may need some sustenance.”

They kissed some more, then he gave her a last hard kiss.  Their hands entwined as he looked one more time at her breasts, inspecting them.  “They feel okay?”

She nodded.  “I’m going to go grab a shirt.”

“You don’t have to on my account.”

She gave him a look then went to the bedroom and put one on.  They spent the next hour setting the table, drinking wine, eating lasagna which he praised her for, and then finally settled in on the sofa in the living room.

Tiffany’s body felt loose and languid…and charged.  She had let him determine the pace, for a time.  But after laying on the sofa with him, all she wanted to do was tear his clothes off.

He poured them more wine and they leaned into each other again.

“How are Carly and her family doing?” she asked.  “And your dad?” Their bodies touched, with Tiffany’s leg curled up over his leg, causing her to lean into him.

“Carly and everyone are good. Is it horrible for me to say that I’m not sorry for a second that she went home that night?” he said, giving her a sexy smile.  “Given the turn of events that evening,” he finished.  “She called me, of course, pumping me with questions.”

“What did you tell her?”

“I told her to stop being so nosy.”

Tiffany tsked.  “You didn’t tell her anything?”

“I told her I was glad she went home,” he teased.

“You did not,” Tiffany laughed.

“Yes, I did,” he chuckled, pulling her face close and sipping a drop of wine off of her bottom lip.

“And she said?”  Tiffany kissed him back then moved away to hear the answer.  She put her wine down on the side table as did he.

“I don’t know that I can say it in polite company.”

She swatted him, laughing.  “Tell me!”

He ducked and grabbed her hands, where they playfully got into a swatting fight until finally he was pressed down on top of her.

“She basically said she hoped I took advantage of the situation and got to winning you over.  She likes you very much, by the way.”

She rubbed her chest onto his, his eyes now going dark.

“She barely knows me.  What did you tell her about me?”

“That your passion for kids and the foundation reminded me of our mom’s.”

She touched his face.  “Really?” she nearly squeaked.  “How so?”

He shrugged.  “She believed in kids as our future,” he began ticking off.  “She believed that individuals and communities needed to create opportunities for them.  She believed in helping people.  She believed that Bible verse ‘to whom much has been given, much is required’.”  His eyes looked into hers.  “I see your heart, and in some ways I see her all over again.”

She blinked back tears.  “Thank you,” she whispered.  “That means the world to me.”

“I also think you’re gorgeous, more intelligent than you let on, gracious, and beyond precious when you’re nervous.”  He rested his lips on hers.  “You’re sexy in and out of bed, and I don’t know if you fully understand how much I’m looking forward to the days ahead where I can get to know you even better…in every way.  Because I already know,” he swallowed, then stopped speaking.

“Already know what?”  She was desperate to hear the answer.

He moved back a bit so they could make eye contact.  “Tell me why you thought you wouldn’t be ‘enough’ for me?  There’s a story there.  What is it?”

“I didn’t really ever feel like I was enough for Richard, I guess.  No matter how much I did what he asked, it was never enough.”  Her voice dropped.  “The cheating didn’t stop.”

“And whose issue was that?” he asked.

She smiled.  “You sound like my therapist.”

“I’m glad you’re talking stuff through with someone.  After my brother died, everyone in my family talked to one person or another to process it.  Except my pop.  He should probably talk through some more stuff but,” he stopped and just shook his head.  “Your ex was,” Drew started then shook his head and blew out a breath.  “He was something.  Talk about someone with issues, Tiff,” he said.  “I hope you’ve realized that he was the one with the problems, not you.”

“I know.  Every once in a while, the insecurities rear their ugly heads.  I don’t want you to worry about it though.  They’re my own issues, and I don’t want them to get in the way of us.”

“We all have issues.  I want us to share them with each other so we can figure them out together.  God knows, when mine pop up, I’ll need you to help me work through them.  Like you did the other night after I lost that patient.  I want that for us, that connection.  I don’t want you to be afraid of talking about your insecurities because you think, I don’t know, that I’ll get mad or something.  I want you to talk about them.  How else will we figure out our shit and move forward as a couple?”

Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt giddiness bubble up in her chest.  She kissed him softly then whispered, “We’re a couple.”  She smiled as the thought really sunk in.

“Yes, we most certainly are.”

Finally, she spoke.  “You were going to say something a minute ago before you mentioned my ex,” she prompted.

“I want you to know that you’re enough for me; that I think of you, and,” he said softly, “I know that you’re everything I could ever want, Tiff.  I don’t know if that scares you.”

She smiled at him, happier than she could ever imagine being.  “It doesn’t scare me at all.”

He touched her cheek and kissed her there.  “Good.  You’re mine and I’m yours.”  He waited a beat and watched her, a tentative look passing over his eyes.  “Say something.”

She swallowed.  “I want that more than you know.”  She couldn’t stop smiling.

“I want that so much, it hurts, Tiff,” he groaned, then kissed her.  “Be mine, baby.  All mine.”

She held his face.  “My parents are going to be so happy when they meet you.  They’ve heard about you through my conversations with them, but I know they’ll be thrilled to finally meet you.”

“They’ll be there tomorrow night?”  She nodded, then he smiled.  “You’ve told them about me?”

She nodded again.  “Whenever the mentoring program came up or the foundation, and I talked about all of you guys who are volunteering.  They’ve heard me talk about the ‘doctor’.  My mom usually gave me a typical mom look whenever you were mentioned.  She knows me too well.  I probably got all googley eyed whenever I talked about you, or babbled or something, but I could tell she knew of my attraction to you.  And I’m sure the girls hinted at it at times.”
