You are the most precious thing in the world to me.” Riss leaned down and nibbled at her nipple through her shirt. “And I think I fall in love with you more daily.”

I love you as well.” He kissed her again and removed her shirt when she moaned. “Riss, love, if you don’t take me now, I’m going to hurt you.”

Always in such a hurry. I would enjoy exploring the parts of you that I missed before.” He slid his hand up her arm, stretching it out so that it was above her head. When he thought about the scarf he’d purchased for her just to tie her up, he wrapped it around her wrist and tied it to the headboard. He did the same to the other arm.

You may keep your legs untied until you no longer behave. Understand?” Her nod was the most erotic thing he’d ever seen. The fact that she was willing to let him have his way was making him ache to have her come. “I will allow you to come, but you must do so without making a sound.”

I won’t be able to do that. You make me scream just when you touch me.” Riss nipped at her throat as she continued. “See, you’re killing me already and you’ve only just started.”

You’ll be all right, love. I promise you that you’ll enjoy this more than you can imagine.” Her snort of disbelief made him smile. “Shall I show you?”

He took her breast into his mouth and suckled hard.
He could feel her body rock up to meet his, and he wondered if his plan was backfiring. When suddenly she whimpered, he looked up.

I want to come.” Riss nodded. “No, you don’t understand. I need to scream out my release. It’s not the same when I can’t.”

I don’t understand.” He shifted over her and felt his cock at her entrance. Heat seemed to suck him in even through her clothing, and he moaned. “You’re going to make me hurry, aren’t you?”

No. Please, Riss, I need you. Don’t stop. I’ll try to behave.” He knew that she would, too, so he decided to double his efforts to make her scream. The first thing he did was tie her legs to the bed.

You are going to enjoy this.” He moved his hands down her body, removing the rest of her clothing but her panties and bra. “Your skin is like the silk you wear. So soft and smooth. I love the way it heats under my hand, the way you flush when I touch you.”

Her nipples were so hard now he could see them pressing
against her bra. Riss nuzzled his face between the large orbs and inhaled deeply. She smelled of heaven. Moving to her shoulders, he kissed his way to her elbow and then the crook of her arm. There he licked his way up to her wrist where he bit down on her pounding pulse.

Kala was writhing now. Her body undulating up and
down, and he wanted to enter her and take her now, but this was proving to be much more fun than he’d thought possible. As he took each of her fingers into his mouth and suckled them, he watched her face. It was lovely, and he leaned over to kiss her.

You’re driving me crazy,” she told him breathlessly. “Just so you know, when it’s my turn, I’m showing you no mercy.”

Agreed.” He felt his cock jerk as he thought of being tied to her bed and lifted her bra up to take the morsel into his mouth. Her body responded by rolling upward, and Riss ran his hand down her body to her femininity. “Come for me, Kala. I want to see the look on your face when you do.”

She cried out
, and under the circumstances, he didn’t care if she brought the house down on them. Watching her get her relief was most wonderful sight he’d ever seen. When he commanded her to come again, she did so, screaming out his name as he slid his fingers into her. He had to taste her, take in her creaminess when she came again.

Moving
down her body, Riss took small nibbles of her everywhere he could. Her body was dewy with her climaxes, and he found he loved even the taste of that. When he was at the juncture of her thighs, Riss removed her panties, the last barrier to what he wanted. He spread her wider still and suckled her into his mouth. Her juices filled his mouth and he had to swallow fast to get it all. When she came again, he lapped at her over and over until she begged him to stop. Still it wasn’t enough. There was so much of her to explore this way that he wanted to take notes so as not to miss an inch of her ever.

Please, Riss, no more. I can’t take any more.” Riss knew that she could and told her so. “If I come again, I’m going to pass out. I swear to you, I can’t take—”

He entered her hard, slamming himself to his balls inside of her. Letting her go
, taking away all the silken wrappings around her limbs, he felt her wrap around him even as he pounded. Riss felt his balls filled and tightened to his body in an almost painful way. And when he came, his body bowing back from hers, he felt his eyes roll to the back of his head as every nerve ending in his body felt electrified. But still he moved in and out of her, deeper, harder until he was spent from it. Dropping down atop her, Riss felt his body go limp and wondered if he’d be able to move if anything came to harm them. Closing his eyes, he let exhaustion take him.

The next
time he woke, he knew that something wasn’t right. Sitting up slowly so as not to wake Kala, he reached for his pants just as someone touched his mind. He moved to the door as the person spoke. Riss didn’t find Boss there any more comforting than he did anyone at the moment. But he knew that someone had been watching them. Riss wondered if they had a protector and wanted to talk to Boss about it.

For the time being, I think it should be that way. There is no one in your bedroom, nor can they hear you when you are…enjoying yourselves. But I think for now at least, someone should be close at all times. I was thinking that we must talk. Is now a good time?”
Riss grabbed a shirt and told Him he could meet Him in the dining room
. “That would be splendid. I have taken the liberty of bringing you in a cook. I hope you do not mind. But waiting for you proved to be longer than I had expected, and I grew hungry for some human cuisine.”

We were working on that, but we’ve been sort of busy.”
Riss made his way to the dining room to find Boss and two people that he’d never seen. “You’ve hired a staff as well?”

No. They came to meet with Kala. She and I have talked, and I think it best that she choose who helps her with the household, don’t you? She is going to be…I think she will need the extra hands when the delivery comes.” It took Riss a few seconds to realize He meant the birth of his son. “She is well, I take it? No lingering afterthoughts about what happened with her friend?”

She is upset, but I think it’s more because she doesn’t understand yet what all happened. She does blame his mother a great deal. Mr. Bishop, the neighbor, has talked with her as well. I don’t think that Daniel had a very good life. I think she’s very happy too. She and Lily had a good time today. I think we might be in for some hard work ahead with their plans. But they’ll make it work.” Boss nodded and smiled at him. Riss flushed, thinking how happy he’d made her and changed the subject. “I wanted to find out how this thing with the training is going to work. I know what my job was but am not sure how to train others to do it. When I was created to watch over humans, the knowledge was there already.”

As it will be with them. But they will lack the…I guess I would call it the finer tuning that you have now. The things that you learned over the years. Years and years of experience, as it were. You can teach them how to keep from being too bored as well.” Boss handed him a thick book, and when Riss put his hand on it, he felt all the knowledge within enter his mind and his heart. “This information will guide you and Kala. She will need it most, I think. The rules haven’t changed all that much, but there are things, with this training, that I’d very much like to work through before we introduce it to the new protectors.”

You mean the new way that we’re to bring them over? Or are you talking about the system that you mention about the little ones. That is the hardest part, I think. Even more so than watching animals. Bringing a child to our arms…it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done.” Riss knew what the plans were for the other men such as him. “I think that you should know that there are others like me, ones that might come to you in the near future to leave. I’m sorry, but you must know that, like you, we are weary of it all. You believe that…what I mean is, do you…?”

Riss was at a loss.
The other men that he’d worked with, they had felt the same as he had over the last decades, wanting to quit their services enough to die for it. Riss hadn’t known of the others, the men and women that now populated the earth that were once protectors. He’d known of Lily, but never knew that she had been put here with her husband. Riss had always thought that she’d simply been a person to help with a service they might need.

I know that I would rather this path be taken than the one you had planned.” Riss looked away, feeling foolish for his thoughts on dying. He would have missed so much. “Riss? You were right in thinking it was the only way. I gave you no other option. Now I am extending this to the others, but they must not know. Not yet at least. I know of one or two of your brethren that will not come easily if they think this is my plan.”

I understand. They would…I’m sure there would be arguments from a few.” Galin for one, Riss thought, and Valyn if what he’d talked about while they’d been working was any indication. He did not like humans in a personal sense at all, and would fight this to the very end. “Tholan as well? He doesn’t…I thought he enjoyed his job, but I’ve come to the conclusion that he is just as ready as I’d been. Maybe a bit more so.”

I believe you to be correct. Tholan has been…I’m sure you understand when I say that what I have planned is mine alone. Michael knows of some but not all. And you will know what I deem necessary for you to know. But for now, it is time that I have a good meal and leave. The hours grow ever shorter.” Riss knew that whatever other questions he had would not be answered. Boss had spoken, and it was as good as done.

They enjoyed a fine dinner of fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
There was an apple pie for dessert, and Riss found it hard not to have a second piece. But he did have the cooks save a plate for Kala. He wondered what she would think of dining with Boss once a week as he’d asked to do.

When Boss stood
, so did Riss.

You’ll come back weekly then? We’d like that. I think that Kala enjoys your company.” Boss snorted, and Riss had to laugh. “Okay, she likes to argue with you. But I think you enjoy it as much as she does.”

I do. She is a good woman and will help you in ways you will not believe.” Riss knew that already. He was in love with his wife and would be for the rest of his days. Boss cleared His throat, and Riss looked up at Him. “You’ll be starting in a week, I think. The compound will be ready, and I’ll have a list of names for you to begin with. We will start slowly, as I’ve said, to work out what we really need for you to train with and what can be learned only in the field. As for your first trainees, Argon and Valyn will be around to help you get them into shape. I think it best for all if that is the case. Valyn will train Kala with her wings, as will Lily. The two of them have taken to each other better than I thought they would.”

Riss nodded and made a mental note to talk to Kala. She would love having Lily around
, but Valyn could be…well, he was somewhat of a serious protector and wouldn’t know how to handle her humor or temper. Then again, Kala might rub off on him, and he’d maybe smile once in a while.

Valyn will be fine, Riss. I would not have paired him with Kala if I didn’t think they would suit. In fact, I believe it will be good for him to interact with her. Kala will show him a thing or two as well.” And with that, Boss left him. When the two women appeared in the room again with Kala, he smiled at her. She looked very frustrated.

I’m supposed to hire these two women.” Riss told her that Boss had thought it a good idea and why. “Oh. I guess that makes some sense. I might need the extra hands.”

Riss laughed
, thinking if there was any one more capable of holding a child, it was his wife. He couldn’t wait to tell her so.

While she ate her dinner
, he told her everything that was going to happen and also shared the book with her. As soon as she looked at him after touching it, he could see the million and one questions start to form in her mind. Smiling, he told her to wait until they were working and most of her questions would be answered.

The cook, he’s staying?” Riss nodded. “Good. I think I’d love being able to eat like this every day. Lily said we’d never gain a pound either.”

You will now, but that’s to be expected.” When she smiled at him, he knew something was up. “What’s going on, Kala? What do you keep from me?”

Oh, I’m going to keep a lot from you for the next few months. I think I want to see your face when all this comes to pass.” Riss started to look at what she knew, but she put up her hand. “I’m your wife and you love me, right?”

Of course I do. Why would you ask such a thing?” She kissed him as she ate the last slice of pie, giving him only one bite of it.
