He led her down the trail to a side path and helped her get down that one. It was not long before the snow was flying fast and furious. Big heavy flakes and a howling wind. It was mid-day but she could not tell. If it had not been for Jeff she would never have been able to make it. He apologized the whole way cursing himself. As much as she wanted to blame somebody, he had done everything he could.

They got to the emergency cabin and he found a key that was set in a specific spot for all cabins. Veteran skiers always know how to use the cabins in case of emergency. He opened the door, and they took off their skies before going in. He flipped a switch and lights came on in a pretty comfortable looking cabin. She realized how big the place was. He thumped across the floor in his ski boots, and began checking things out. He checked the cupboards, the fridge, the heater thermostat, and finally the radio.

“Ok, we are set for now. You can get out of the boots if you want. The place should be warm soon. I am calling for help,” he told her. Chelsea nodded and began unsnapping her ski boots. Looking outside was frightening due to the snow was so thick and heavy she could not see much and it was dark. She realized her heart was pounding and she took a few deep breaths listening to Jeff on the radio. He got through and she turned excited. He locked eyes with her.

“Yeah, this is Jeff Roberts out of the Timberback lodge. I was taking a student down the back trail then this shit hit. We are in the emergency cabin at station E2365. There is no way we can get down. A little help?” he finished and the radio squawked. They waited, looking at each other.

“We hear you station E2365. How are you set there?” he sighed.

“We are stocked I guess, are you telling me no one will be here soon?” he looked at me with an apologetic look.

“Sorry to tell you E2365...Storm caught everyone by surprise. We have a bunch of snowboarders way the hell up the crevasse. If you are safe you are going to have to be down on the list. You know how to stay safe up there?” he was asked.

“Yeah I have been trained on it. Can you get a call to her mother and my father, let them know we are safe?” she felt a release of tension when the radio responder said yes. They gave the information to them and they told Jeff to call in if anything got worse. He hung the radio up and apologized again.

“Look, I am so sorry about this. I triple checked the weather last night and again this morning,” he really was upset and she tried to calm him. Focusing on him helped alleviate her fear.

“I know you did dude. Look, we are stocked, we have heat, I am assuming blankets and beds, and first aid. We are set until someone can come get us right?” he nodded. “Then we were going to stay at the lodge another two days anyway so this is not that much different. Can we have our own rooms?” He bust out laughing, and to her surprised hugged her tightly. She found herself closing her eyes. Appreciating his strong arms around her, and she felt a warmth deep inside that made her smile slightly. When they broke their embrace they both had serious expressions on their faces.

“You can. There are several rooms back there, although you can have the loft up there,” he pointed to the stairs along the side of the bid entry way. “They need to have space in case a team of cross country skiers get stuck up here. The loft is for the EMT so they can be available. I will stay down here to be close to the radio and to keep an eye on the generator. So far, things are good. I want to make sure it stays that way,” he was trying so hard to make sure she was taken care of. It was sweet she thought. She had the brief thought that it was too bad he would be her stepbrother. Then again, she reminded herself, he wasn't her stepbrother yet.

Chapter Three- A Steamy Night

They dug around and found a cabinet with thin robes, scrubs, and little hospital slippers. The blankets were heavy duty though and Chelsea was glad to see that. They both hung up their wet clothes and dressed in scrubs and slippers. Before she left the bathroom she saw herself in the mirror and turned back and forth. Even though she was in hospital scrubs, she thought she looked good. Her hair was wild, and she had grabbed a larger set of scrubs so the top was big and loose, and swung off of her large breasts nicely. She had tied the waist band of the pants snug and it felt good to her. Her bra and panties had been dry so fortunately she still had those. With such loose clothes sliding over her bare legs and belly it almost felt like hands. Gently touching and teasing her like a lover. She felt herself blush, glad her complexion could hide that. She did not know if it was fear, or adrenaline or what, but she was feeling wild.

Chelsea left the bathroom and Jeff handed her a beer.

“The medics keep a stash for themselves. I will pay them back,” She grinned and agreed taking a sip of the beer. He began searching around for something to make for dinner. She went to the window and watched the snow just come down and down. It was not stopping, or slowing at all. She shivered, although she was warm enough. She knew they were safe, for the time being at least. The radio was on and crackling. She couldn't hear voices but then Jeff started checking different frequencies, and she went and joined him at the kitchen counter. They started some giant cans of stew, adding vegetables and spices to zip it up too. As he turned the dial on the radio they could hear occasional voices. Reception was getting bad, so it was just a few words here or there. What they did hear sounded like everyone was caught by surprise, and they were scrambling to find missing skiers still out on the mountain. It made me shiver to realize how lucky we had been. We could be huddled somewhere freezing right then. She glanced over at Jeff stirring the stew.

No Chelsea thought to herself. He would have figured something out. He was very determined when he set his mind to it, and he was obviously going to do anything he could to keep her safe. If she was going to be stranded she was lucky it was with him. She thought about that as she took over cooking and he went to the restroom. She was trying to examine her feelings about him. He was such a handsome guy and he obviously meant well. Yet he was obviously a huge womanizer. Did she want anything to do with a guy like that? She wondered. She was still positive that she did not want a boyfriend, but stranded in the middle of nowhere, she felt a need for some human contact. Her fear was still there under the surface, and she could feel how tense she was. She was working on her second beer when Jeff came back. They ate, and joked about some of the people who they had seen at the lodge the night before.

“That one woman who was wearing that next to nothing tank top and mini skirt. I was thinking come on. I like beautiful woman, but when they are wearing something like that, in a mountain retreat, where it is below freezing outside come on. You however were dressed classy and sexy last night. You put them all to shame you know,” he said. They were both getting a good buzz going and she smiled slightly, enjoying the compliment.

“Well to be honest you were the best of the guys at the bar. Most of them were strutting around as if they were the king of Turd Mountain. Accept it was obvious they did not have a clue,” she laughed and so did he. They built a fire and sat on the floor since there was not a lot of furniture besides chairs. She was beginning to feel amazingly comfortable and found herself leaning against him as they stared into the fire. His arm went around her and she sighed.

“You do know I am attracted to you don't you. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Your confidence and drive is obvious, and I have to say blows me away,” he told her. She rubbed her cheek against his shoulder and turned her head, kissing it. She was really feeling the beer and was becoming incredibly turned on.

“I know there are all sorts of things to consider, but the way I am feeling right now I would rather worry about it in the morning. How about you Jeff?” she was amazed he was hesitant. He really did like her.

“Are you sure Chelsea, this may be the first time I have double checked an ok...” he told her.

She giggled and leaned up, taking his face in her hand and kissed his lips. That was all he needed and she was glad! His hands ran down her sides to her hips and back up as they kissed. She ran hers down his strong back her his trim waist. He felt strong and hard in her hands. Chelsea almost giggled at the thought. Then she moaned when his hands slid up under her loose scrub top to her breasts, and she eagerly leaned into it with arched back. He groaned as her hands found his inner thighs and then began tugging his pants down. They came up on their knees pressing their bodies together. He was significantly taller than she was so she could feel his stiffening member at her waist. She left that alone for the time being. She wanted to keep him going. He leaned forward, and she allowed herself to be laid back on the carpet. He helped her pull her top and bra off leaving her naked in the crackling firelight. He looked down at her and she saw something in his eyes she did not recognize.

“You... are the most...beautiful woman... I have ever seen...you need to know that. Oh baby, I am so surprised that...I am lucky enough to be with you...in any situation!” he spoke through his gasping. He was kissing Chelsea all over and every one made her tingling body crave another. Jeff was doing things to her body she had never felt. The lust in his eyes and that other thing, whatever it was, drove her desire higher than she would have thought possible. His fingers found her wet opening and entered while his thumb ran over the top of her flower of lust. The combination caused her to stiffen with an explosive orgasm and she cried out louder than any orgasm had found her capable of. Gasping she was now completely wound up.

“Oh baby, I can feel ya, oh yes I can. I am so ready Jeff. Come on, are you ready baby, are you ready!” She cried out. She already knew the answer as he raised himself up above her. When he came down her anticipation was almost as strong as her need for him to be inside her. When Jeff entered, slowly and passionately, she cried out again. His voice joined hers in her passion. Their combined thrusting became faster and faster as they could no longer wait to fulfill their raging bodies need. The sound of flesh slapping together was like music, mixing into the sound of their moans. Chelsea and Jeff peaked together and they had an orgasm at the same explosive time. As his essence entered her it caused her pleasure to peak and shook her whole body. Jeff collapsed on top of her and they both caught their breaths. He slid out of her grateful opening to lay next to her. She reached over and grabbed a blanket to pull over them both. They snuggled up together and she felt safe, despite the wind blowing outside their hideaway. She thought of it as theirs, for a little while anyway.

“I have to tell you Chelsea, that was the most amazing experience I have ever felt. Something about your beauty, your eyes, and your voice, set me off. I felt like there was nothing that was going to stop me once we got started,” he told her in a whisper. She agreed completely.

“Oh yeah me too, all of that. Come morning we are going to have to talk about this thing. For tonight though, can we just curl up together?” her voice was soft as she asked.

“Oh yes Chelsea. That would be perfect,” he answered, and it was not long before they were asleep in each other’s arms.

Chapter Four- Cold Day

Chelsea awoke warm feeling a weight on her. She moved a little and realized a stack of blankets was laid over her. She heard Jeff moving around. She poked her head out from under the blankets and the air felt cold. Uh, oh. She thought to herself. She sat up and looked around. There was some light coming through a skylight she had not noticed the day before, and Jeff was building a fire. He heard her moving and turned smiling slightly.

'The power went in the middle of the night, probably a transformer. I will get the generator going in a moment. I want to get the fire going first,” he explained and Chelsea nodded agreement.

She was cold and reached for her scrubs and underwear. As she dressed he finished the fire and went down a little hall off the kitchen to where the generator was. It had to be mostly separate from the building due to the fuel usage to run it. She then got up and went into the kitchen, setting up the coffee pot so it was ready when the power came on. She drank some water to clear her mouth and then the generator rumbled to life. It sounded strong to her and she plugged the coffee in. She did not go around turning on lights. No point in using energy without a good reason like coffee. He came back in and she had a coffee poured for him.

Jeff told her the snow appeared to have stopped, but they were snowed in.  They would have to dig out. He did want to check and see if anyone would answer the radio. He said he could see the antenna up on the roof from the generator. She went with him to the radio.

“Do you think someone will be on the way?” she asked him hopefully.

“Well, if the storm is done I don't see why not. It may depend on if they have a lot of people stuck in these mountains,” he told her.
