“Lose the robe and get on the bed.”

“We need to talk about this. Is it just one night? I
don’t have any condoms. Did you bring some with you? There’s so much we need to
talk about before we even think about proceeding to this point.”

“Lose the robe and get on the bed.” He pointed to her queen-sized
bed, his expression unchanging.

“Don’t dismiss me like that. I have legitimate
concerns.”

He sighed and moved toward her. He reached for the
sash around her waist. “This can last as long as you want it to last. I’m not
picky, but I will have you tonight.” The sash slid free. “As for the condoms, I
have some. Top of the line, best money can buy.”

He pushed her robe open and slid the silk from her
shoulders, leaving her bare to his eyes. “That’s all the conversation I’m going
to give you. You’re not the responsible one anymore. All you have to do is what
I say.”

“And if I don’t?”

“You don’t want to find out.”

Her heart thumped wildly in both fear and
anticipation. “Mr. … Micah … I don’t want you to hit me.”

He cupped her cheeks and forced her to look in his
eyes. “I’m never going to hit you. Do you believe me when I tell you that?”

Kristin thought about it. She barely knew him.
However, he had saved her from the ass at the club. He’d taken her home and
removed her shoes from her aching feet. Persuaded her to give in and let him
take care of her for a few seconds. “I don’t know.”

“I will never do anything to harm you. I only want to
give you pleasure.”

She took a deep breath, nodding. As soon as she did
that, he gave her a tender kiss on the lips and stepped away from her. “Get on
the bed.”

She climbed on the bed. Lying back against the
pillows, she watched him while she waited. He disappeared into her bathroom for
a moment and came back with her body lotion. He tossed it to the mattress
beside her and knelt at the end of the bed, by her feet.

“Spread your legs.”

Kristin timidly parted her legs, watching his face the
whole time. “I haven’t been with anyone but my ex. We divorced six years ago.”

He seemed to ignore her comment and reached out to
touch her. “Your pussy is wet.” His finger dipped inside her and then swirled
around her opening. “I think you like the idea of me taking control.”

Kristin closed her eyes. Her body was tense, the
headache still present. The mattress shifted with his weight and Kristin opened
her eyes. He had the bottle of lotion in his hand and upended it over her. The
cool liquid hit her stomach and she sucked in a breath.

“You wear this to work all the time and it drives me mad.
I didn’t know it was your fragrance until Wednesday, when you spent the day in
my office.”

He reached out and smoothed his hand across her
stomach, smearing the lotion as he did. His hands trailed along, stopping just
below her breasts. He leaned down and flicked one nipple with the tip of his
wet tongue. His boldness turned her on. She loved how he knew what he wanted to
do to her, how he took control, claiming her as his for the night. She liked
that when she gave him resistance, he pushed back. He didn’t give up and it
made her feel wanted, desired. Perhaps that was what scared her away at the
club. How well in tune he was with her body, her needs. Pleasure pulsed through
her as he sucked her stiff nipple into his mouth. Kristin combed her fingers
through his hair, holding him to her. He let her for a moment before he reached
for her hands and forced them back against the mattress. She gasped as he
switched to the other nipple, sucking it just as hard as the first. The cooler
air teased the wet tip while the rest of her body burned with desire.

She moaned, seeking more, and Micah didn’t disappoint.
He pulled the tip of her breast between his lips, lightly scraping it with his
teeth. It’d been so long since she last had sex and it hadn’t been that often
while she was married. He moved back and kneeled between her legs. His hands
cupped her breasts, squeezing her nipples between his fingers. Kristin gasped
at the sensations flowing through her body.

He leaned down to kiss her, slipping his tongue
between her lips. The gentleness of the kiss surprised her. She cupped the back
of his head and held him close. At the club, she’d been surprised when he
pressed his cock against her, rubbing slightly. Even through the leather pants,
she’d felt how big he was. She wanted him and that thought, that desire, scared
her.

He pulled back and nipped at her chin. “Roll over.”

Her hands slid down his arms. “I don’t know about
this.”

He kissed her briefly. “I do. Roll over.”

She watched him move away and slowly rolled to her
stomach. He stood beside the bed, undoing his pants. Each delicious inch of bare
skin he revealed drove her anticipation higher. He chose not to wear underwear
and Kristin found the discovery made her hot. He kicked his pants to the side
and met her eyes, stroking his thick cock with one hand.

“You really haven’t been with anyone for six years?”

“Longer than that, actually.” She shoved her pillow
beneath her chin and watched him. “I told you I was boring.”

He came to her, resuming his position between her
legs. “You are anything but boring.”

He touched her, slipping his fingers inside. She
wiggled her ass seeking more. She finally admitted to herself she wanted more
of everything. His touch, his kiss, his cock. She closed her eyes and groaned
when he stopped touching her.

Waiting patiently, she felt the blunt tip of his
latex-covered cock press against her. He gripped her hips as he drove inside.
Kristin cried out. Her pussy stretched around every thick inch of him,
surrendering to him completely. She barely had enough time to suck in a breath
before he pulled out and plunged in again. Over and over, he thrust into her,
sending her desire higher. She clutched the sheets next to her as the sweet
rush of release pummeled through her.

“That was quick.” He held still, filling her
completely as her pussy spasmed around his cock. “Damn you’re going to suck me
dry before we even get started.”

He lifted her up, changing their positions until he
sat on the mattress with her straddling his lap. He palmed her breast with one
hand while he gripped her hip and guided her along his cock with the other. The
condom did little to reduce the friction between them.

“Oh, god.” She leaned forward, bracing herself on his
thighs. The new angle made his cock bump against her G-spot and she screamed,
her pussy clutching his cock hard. This time, he came with her.

Her heart thudded wildly as he held her, refusing to
let her fall to the mattress beneath them. She relaxed against him, swiping the
sweat from her eyes.

“You are definitely not boring.” He kissed her
shoulder and lifted her off his lap.

She fell face first into the pillows. Blissful sleep
claimed her next.

Chapter
Five

Monday was the worst day of the week with good reason.
Kristin sat in her office preparing for quarterlies and trying to figure out
what went on behind closed doors at The Black Rose. It didn’t help matters any
that she’d woken to an empty bed after an amazing night of sex or that she in
fact was sore from said events. It especially wasn’t helping that her best
friend currently babbled on and on about her current boyfriend like he was some
kind of trophy.

“You should see his ass. Buns of steel baby. I could
stare at it all day and never grow bored.” Jamie sipped from her glass. “Okay. Question
of the day. What is your favorite sexual position? A: Missionary. B: Doggy. C: Cowgirl.
D: Standing.”

“Doggy.” Lyn grinned. “I’m not giving a reason why.”

“Cowgirl up and ride.” Sable chuckled. “Damn. If only
cowboys were around this part of the country. I need to take a trip to Texas.”

“I’m going to have to go with cowgirl, too. Taking
control is a whole different kind of pleasure.” Jamie glanced over at Kristin.
“What about you?”

Kristin smiled. “Reverse cowgirl.”

Her friend’s eyes widened. Jamie leaned in. “Did you meet
a guy we don’t know about?”

“I had sex last night if that’s what you’re asking.”
Kristin bit into her hamburger.

“Really. With whom?” Sable scooted her chair closer as
if Kristin would tell them the story.

“Nobody important. I met him at the club Jamie and I
went to Saturday night. Our encounter sort of lasted all weekend.” Okay, technically
lying, but they didn’t need to know the hardcore details.

“You met a guy there?” Jamie stared in disbelief.

Kristin nodded. “Who would have thought?”

“Are you’re still mad at me for ditching you?”

Kristin arched an eyebrow in mock irritation. She wasn’t
really mad. What her friend had done
was
understandable.

Jamie sighed. “I told you I was sorry a million
times.”

Kristin winked. “I know, and I need to get back to
work.”

Kristin collected her garbage and tossed it in a
nearby trashcan then walked back to the office. The day was perfect for eating
outdoors and she was happy her friends suggested it. If she didn’t have so much
paperwork to cart around, she would have considered working outdoors in the
sunlight.

“Ms. Marsh, you have a phone call on line one,” the
receptionist informed her.

“I’ll take it in my office.”

Kristin rode the elevator up to her floor and smiled
politely at the staff she passed on the way. Once inside, she settled at her
desk and lifted the receiver to take the call.

“Kristin Marsh.”

“’Bout time you answered.”

She couldn’t stop the slight tilt of her lips when she
heard her boss’s voice. “I’m busy working. That is what you pay me to do.”

“Yeah. Right. I just checked into my hotel. Remind me
again why I should give a fuck about what these people think?”

She leaned back in her chair. “Because they have
business connections with the entire country. Play nice with them and they will
pay money to you.”

“Right. I knew I had a good reason for hiring you.”

Kristin glanced at her clock. “If I’m going to get my
work done before quitting time, I need to get off the phone. Did you call for
something specific?”

“Yes.”

Kristin waited and he didn’t elaborate. “And that
would be?”

“I just wanted to hear your voice. It’s not a crime.”

She flipped through the files on her desk. “You left
without saying goodbye.”

“I know. You looked so peaceful sleeping, I didn’t
want to wake you. Besides, you had a tiring night. You needed to rest.”

She paused and stared at the opposite wall. “Don’t,
Mr. Bosk.”

“I think given the circumstances between us, you can
call me Micah now. And why not?”

“You know why. Look, if that is all, I really need to
go.” Kristin shifted the phone to her other ear. “I’m plenty busy this week.”

“Fine. I’m taking a nap before my meeting. I’m going
to be jet-lagged when I get back home.”

“You’ll be fine. Play nice.”

“Can I say I wish you’d taken me up on my offer and come
with me?”

Kristin rolled her eyes. “No.”

“Fine. I won’t. I’m thinking it though.”

“Goodbye, Mr. Bosk. See you Friday.” She heard his
laugher on the other side as she set the phone back in the cradle. Crazy as it sounded,
she liked that he thought that.

****

Wednesday came and went quickly, and Kristin found
herself in the middle of her home office after work, sorting through photos she
hadn’t gotten around to organizing. Most were of Hayden and she wondered how
the years had passed so quickly. The doorbell rang, disrupting her thoughts,
and she stood to answer it.

“I brought margarita makings.” Jamie held up two
bottles. “Please call it a truce and tell me about this guy.”

Kristin smiled. “I told you I wasn’t mad, silly. Come
on in.”

Jamie entered the house and headed straight for the
kitchen. “So, who is he?”

Kristin took a seat at the kitchen bar and watched her
friend move about, gathering the items she needed for the drinks. “Well, he’s
nobody really. Another guy tried to take advantage of me and he was my rescuer
of sorts.”

Jamie paused. “Yeah, but you never sleep with guys.
Especially guys you don’t know.”

“I’m not a virgin, Jamie.”

“I know that. But you hadn’t had any in a long time.”
She faced Kristin. “Was he good?”

Kristin laughed. “Yeah.”

That answer got Jamie to smile. She went about fixing
the drinks and tossed her famous mixture into Kristin’s blender. “I saw those
we don’t speak of at the supermarket.”

“Really? Hayden said I had to meet her. He said she
was ugly.”

Jamie cackled. “Ugly doesn’t begin to describe the
face of that girl. I mean clearly Rick screwed her with beer goggles on because
she is so not his normal type and now he’s stuck with her and that beach ball
underneath her dress.”

Kristin leaned against the counter. Somehow, talking
about her ex didn’t bother her like it used to. “Then I do have to meet her.”

“I wonder where he found her
at?

She reached for the two margarita glasses she’d left behind the last time she
came over and filled them up. “He is such a doofus. I know you were kids when
you got together so I’m blaming ignorance, but please tell me mystery man is
nothing like your ex-husband.”

Kristin took the glass Jamie offered and sipped from
it. “He is nothing like my ex-husband. I think, maybe, my son even likes him.”

That made Jamie pause. “Hayden’s met him?”

She nodded.

“When do
I
get to meet him?”

Kristin thought about it. Telling Jamie she’d slept
with their boss could go one of two ways. Jamie could be happy and start
planning their wedding and how many children they would have. Or, she could go
mad and tell her how big of an idiot she really was. Neither response was
something she wanted to deal with at the moment.

“I don’t know. I think it was just a weekend thing.
Not anything near taking home to my parents.”

Jamie narrowed her eyes. “I don’t believe you. If
Hayden met him, then there’s something more serious going on. I don’t think
you’ve ever introduced your son to any guy for the fear of giving him the wrong
impression.”

“Hayden met him by accident.” Kristin rolled her eyes.
“He brought me home in that hooker-like outfit you picked out and my son, being
a guy, automatically assumed the worst.”

Jamie laughed. “Oh, man. You did have a wild night.”

Kristin rolled her eyes and sipped from her glass. “If
it’s any consolation, I don’t think I’m going to see him again.”

“What? Why not?”

“It’s too complicated.”

“Did you participate in a scene?”

Kristin frowned. “No. What is that?”

“BDSM. That is what happens at the club.”

Kristin stared at her glass. He didn’t do that with
her. He’d touched her and kissed her. Made her feel like she was the only woman
on earth that he wanted. He didn’t do any of the tie me up, tie me down stuff
she suspected he enjoyed.

“We didn’t do that.”

“What did you do?”

“We just had sex.” In her bed. Kristin sighed. It was
the first time she’d ever had a man in
her
bed.

“Did he stay the night?”

She nodded and gulped more of her drink. He’d curled
up beside her and held her all night long.

“Wow. A Dom spent the night with you and didn’t
participate in BDSM at all? Are you sure he was a Dom?”

“I told him I wasn’t into it.”

“That normally doesn’t matter.”

Kristin finished her drink and reached for the blender
to pour herself another. “Does it matter?”

“Kinda.” Jamie watched her. “Maybe he got his rocks
off with another chick before you.”

Kristin met her eyes. “Do they do that?”

“All the time. Some guys don’t have designated subs
and take on whoever comes looking to be dominated. He could have more than one
woman a night.”

Kristin’s head swam with the information Jamie had
just told her. She’d given in. She’d let him have sex with her and then he’d
walked out. She never expected a proposal, but the idea of him sleeping around
like Jamie just painted in her mind … she couldn’t do that.
God, how stupid am I?

“Enough about me.” Kristin tried to regain her
composure. “Where did you escape to Saturday night?”

Jamie smiled and sipped from her drink. “I checked out
room three.”

“What’s room three?”

“The most hardcore. Kyle said that only a few people
are allowed in there.”

“A few people? Like who?”

“The higher-ups. The guys who have been there the
longest and have gained the owner’s trust. I don’t know the owners, but my Dom
said that is the only room they use.” Jamie grinned. “Since I’ve experienced it
now, I understand why.”

“Why?” Kristin croaked.

“Because. He pushed me to my limits and I came like
crazy. I mean I couldn’t stop coming. And there was this little electric wand
thingy. Damn that will make a girl blush afterwards.” Jamie’s cheeks tinted
pink. “I really want to go back. That’s the most fun I’ve had in years.”

Kristin pressed her fingers against her forehead. “I
don’t understand what people like about it. You willingly consent to a man
hitting you?”

“Oh, no. He never hit me, not once.”

“What did he do?”

Jamie smiled. “Lots of things. Flogging wasn’t one of
them, though.”

The phone rang, making Kristin jump. Jamie giggled and
lifted her glass to her lips while Kristin answered it.

“Hello?”

“I need to know something.”

Her pussy spasmed. Kristin pressed her legs together
at the sound of his voice. “What can I do for you, Mr. Bosk?”

Jamie’s eyes nearly bugged out of her head.

“We’re back to that. I told you to call me Micah.”

“I’m sorry, sir. All the paperwork is in my office.”
She tried to refrain from turning her back on Jamie to have a real conversation
with him.

“Have you got company?”

“Yes, sir.”

“From work?”

“Yes, sir.”

He laughed. “Well, don’t blush at what I’m about to
tell you.”

“What is that?” She glanced down and focused on her
glass.

“I want you naked, in my bed, the night I come home.
Can you meet me there?”

“No, sir.”

“Why not?”

“Because I…” she paused, realizing Jamie was still in
the room. “There is a lot I need to go over with you regarding that, and I
don’t mean to be rude, but I have company right now and I can’t talk to you
about work.”

“In bed is the one place you don’t have to be uptight,
Kristin. What could you possibly have left to talk about?”

“Plenty. I’ll see you Friday, Mr. Bosk. Enjoy your
stay in Japan.”

She hung up and Jamie applauded her. “I hope you
didn’t get fired for that.”

Kristin shrugged. “Blame it on the alcohol.”

The two women laughed. Kristin planned on talking to
him, all right. Mainly about what the hell she’d gotten herself into by
sleeping with him.
